BLUE MAN GROUP AT THE LUXOR Before Blue Man Group was astounding audiences in Las Vegas and beyond, the founding members were entertaining crowds in Manhattan's Lower East Side. By 1991, Chris Wink, Matt Goldman, and Phil Stanton had a full show at Astor Place Theatre. Blue Man Group's big break arrived in 2000 with their addition to the Las Vegas line-up at The Luxor. Internationally, Blue Man Group has had show runs in cities from Sydney to Vienna.

The show was funny and enjoyable but overall I guess I expected more. We sat in the poncho section, but ponchos were not even remotely necessary. I was a bit dissappointed. If you have kids, at least this show is family friendly.

My husband has always wanted to see Blue Man Group, so when we planned our Vegas trip and realized that they were performing at the Venetian, we had to get tickets. Their show is wonderful, fun, great percussion and lots of comedic moments. We thoroughly enjoyed being in the audience and were not disappointed. Loved it!!!

It was supposed to be a comedy, but it's not funny. The best part is the musical, the way they play, but they don't explore it, they prefer to try weird things. Spend your money at Cirque du Soleil, that's much better.

All in all good show. The bits seem to be a little old and routine to the Blue Men, but still funny and entertaining. This would be a great show to take the kidos if you bring them to Vegas. The backing band is incredible, I think they carry the music portions of the show. If going to be be in town, look for online coupons and save some money as it may be a bit overpriced.

Blue Man Group didn't disappoint. Their show was nearly identical to it last year and it was equally enjoyable. Perhaps more-so this time around because I sat front row center! However, I can't recommend these seats. They are too close. Sit a row back and you'll still get Blue Man Group Twinkie vomit all over you!

Overall entertaining, however I was expecting the same show I saw a couple of years ago at the Luxor. This venue is much smaller and the stage is also smaller which means that many of the props are no longer on stage (e.g. the water tubes,). My son liked the show, but I left feeling like they had phoned the performance in.

We knew that Blue Man Group was going to be an experience, that no one could quite explain was it was we would see. We were a bit nervous when we arrived at the last moment and were escorted to our 2nd row seats - to find that our seats had ponchos resting on the back of them. We quickly put them on, but we needn't have worried. The laughter and smiles started right from the get go. It was everything we couldn't even imagine. It was art!

The show is real boring. Lame attempts at comedy. Slow moving skits. They bang on drums once in a while. They waste a lot of time looking at the audience and coming in to the audience. They never speak the whole show. My wife said to me half way through.. "how much did you pay for these tickets?" "Whatever it was we would have more fun gambling it away then giving it to these guys". We were in the front row and nothing was good enough to make us clap or laugh. I visit Vegas every month for business and have seen most of the shows. This is one of the worst! Do NOT waste you money or your time. Many other good shows to choose from.

I had seen this show previously at the Paris a few years ago. While much of the content was the same, it seemed scaled back from the prior performance I had seen. That having been said, I took some friends who had never seen the show and they loved it. It is hard to describe what this is without experiencing it, because it is truly unique. I guess we missed the boat on the Blue Man Group. For years I've been seeing and hearing nothing but good things about this unique show. So, when I was looking for a show to take some old friends to, I thought why not give this show a look (most shows they wanted to see were dark the nights we were in Vegas). Unfortunately, we were not very entertained. Obviously, things have changed from the first Blue Man Group to this current version. Not much comedy, just a lot of bright lights in your face, loud music and endless drumming. The drumming wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't all they did throughout the show. The audience participation dragged on as they searched the audience for the "right participant" almost as if they were stalling for time. The read along intro got to be irritating as it too dragged on... Hopefully, they can get back to their roots... Until then it's a show you can pass on for now.

It's been about 12 years since I last saw the Blue Man Group. the last time was when they were at the Luxor. The show has been updated since then, but they retained "BMG traditional" skits, such as marshmallow catching and skits with the audience. The music was awesome and TIGHT!!!! I highly recommend it for all ages. My 12 year old loved it!!!

Will call was a breeze. Overall the show was great, but there were a few spots that dragged a little. The best part of the show was the end when they released the paper streamers and giant balls throughout the audience. The seats under the balcony were not able to play with the glow balls.

I managed to get a good deal from the ticketmaster website and had 2x row B seats. For this show it is important to get a good seat as the facial expressions of the Blue Man Group provide an additional experience. Overall the show is great fun with a lot of audience participation. I would have preferred more of the Blue Man Group songs but the half dozen they did play were excellent and the backing artists were fantastic.

We are a local couple and couple from Minnesota. The four of us enjoyed sitting in the Poncho Section! So much fun to interact and see the Blue's expressions. I seen this show a few years back and will never forget it. I was actually part of the interactive audience. I was brought up on stage and got to sit up and participate in a couple skits and it was so funny, the performer came out in me and it was so cool to see what it's like from their perspective making people laugh. After the show the guys came up to me, and everyone knows they're not supposed to talk and the one turns to me and says "Good Show" :) I still wish I could have had it on video but for obvious reasons they don't let you.

Blue Man Group was unlike anything I'd ever seen before. From the optical illusions to the heart thumping rhythms they were truly astounding! Some of the bits had me roaring with laughter while other bits had my mouth agape in awe. The audience not only watched the show we also participated. Shear genius!!!

My fiancee wore an amazing little red dress and it was a bit chilly in the theatre... that is my only critique for the bad, ALL else was really cool. I loved the percussion and there was plenty of it. The comedy was quaint and enjoyable..... the crowd inter-action was amazing... the sights and media the used to enhance the performance were also amazing. Really a good time and I scored Big Points taking my Chinese fiancee there for her first American show.

The Blue Man Group is interactive fun for the whole family and for all ages. The audience really gets involved and even my teen was laughing throughout the show. I was also educational. We had seats in the 2nd row which made it even more amazing. To see the Blue Man Group was on my bucket-list and I am glad to say they did not disappoint! It was an awesome show I would recommend to anyone and everyone. Thanks for a fun evening.

Our group was pretty diverse age-wise. Myself being 40, my sister 30 and we even had my 21 year daughter and parents in tow. All of us were really blown away by the show. It's hard to even describe it but you really feel like you're part of the show from start to finish. I highly recommend it to anyone who's looking to enjoy themselves!

Yawn... I expected more than what I got. For family friendly this is a fine show - geared more to a younger audience. For adults it is a bit repetitive and mundane.

The show is very dry, they are trying to relate to the current times. Doesn't quite work out for them. The show was not worth the price of the tickets. You can see others in Vegas that are way better. It's time for the Blue Man Group to retire.

Show should have been incredible, very funny, great music, performers were perfect. However when purchasing the tickets I did not know that the front seats came with complimentary ponchos. I spent part of the show clinging to the poncho thinking at any moment I would get sprayed with something until I finally was the only person sprayed with a sticky substance that was designed to resemble chewed up Twinkies. It was up into my poncho top and bottom. It was all over my legs, shoes, in my hair, on my hands, my Coach purse and stuck in the lace overlay on my dress. It smelled putrid and I was afraid to move the whole show and make the situation worse. This esp put a damper on the part of the show where they encourage the entire audience to dance with them. I had enjoyed the show much more if it were not for being covered in whatever this was. My coach purse doesn't look the same after trying to wash the stuff off and I'm hoping and praying it comes out of my hand wash only dress ok.

Not a big fan at first but my husband always loved them. Now that I have seen the show live I understand. This was the best show I have ever seen. Very funny and entertaining. As soon as my husband got back home he started watching both DVDs he already had. At the show he got pictures and a T-shirt with one members thumb print and pictures with the band as well.
