My fiancé asked me had I ever been to a hockey game and I told her no and she said Greenville had a team so I bought tickets and I was not disappointed ! I had a lot of fun and the excitement was a wonderful experience and I really enjoyed the crowd and the teams ! Even though they lost I m still wanting to come back and see another game
Great Fun and Great Win! My family, including a 4-year-old daughter was very entertained and had a great time. We will be coming back for more Road Warrior Hockey!!!
For the firts game, I thought that the seats we had were excellent. We sat in the upper deck approximately in the middle of thearena, fantastic. The game was really good, especially is you like hockey. The team played very professionally, and of course, therewere the expected fights. If I get a chance, I will definately go again. Hopefully, I will get the same seats.
A few glitches with the pregame "entertainment" (was there really a need to have a politician running for office in an election year drop the ceremonial puck?), but once the game started it was quite enjoyable.
Just my second Swamp Rabbits game, and I am thinking about buying season tickets. The entire experience is fantastic, with the arena, atmosphere, and hockey at a high level.
Exhilarating! Fast Paced! Loved it! The Swamp Rabbits skill set is amazing. To take off like your skating for your life, to a brake and stop on a dime all while setting up a goal shot. Their passing ability was amazing. Watching the Swamp Rabbits was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. We will be back to watch the Swamp Rabbits out-wit, out-play & out skate another opponent soon.
The Swamp Rabbits rock!!!! This was possibly the best game we have attended....the game was so close going back and forth....a few fights and of course the Rabbits WON. If you go you have to do the carrot toss it is so much fun :)
Always one to support my local teams, the Swamp rabbit Ice Hockey team are a team to ne proud of. Lots of entertainment for the family, well priced tickets and a lovely arena at which to play.
We go to the teddy bear toss every year it is such a wonderful event! We had excellent seats this year right on the glass. It was a very exciting back and forth game and of course the Rabbits won!!!!! But what's with the carrot toss.....really :)
We were three rows from the ice. First home game, / lot of excitement. Was my kids second hockey game as none of us are hockey fans. But, it was a local team and a fun family event to take part in and show our support. Only part I didn't like, were concession prices. $6 for a cold personal pizza wasn't worth it. Would have also been nice to see more crowd activities, throw out t shirts, or other small prices just to get the crowd into it. Overall, was a really great time!
The arena is an excellent venue, clean, easy to navigate, comfortable seating. The hockey game was a lot of fun. It.s a shame there isn't an NHL team nearby but ECHL hockey will satisfy your need to be at a live game. For about $20/person, you can't beat the price. Seat are very good. You have to look through the penalty box glass to see the face off, which would be ok it the glass was as clear as the rest of the glass surrounding the rink. See pix
My fiancé and I recently moved to Greenville, SC. We were big fans of the Hurricanes in Raleigh so we had to check out the Swamp Rabbits. To our surprise the stadium was pretty much empty for a Saturday night but we had a blast! We were able to get great seats for pretty cheap and while the Swamp Rabbits lost, we had a great time! Highly recommend! I also loved the little kid hockey game during the halftime, so cute!

What do you say about a hockey game, except I shot & I scored! lol Great venue and a good team. Seats were perfect location & comfortable. Very nice arena & well run. Price was good and compared to an NHL game was excellent for the price! Now if they were an affiliate of the Minnesota Wild that would be perfect! Can't wait till next season! Go Warriors!

We attended the Greenville Swamp Rabbits vs. Kalamazoo Wings game on April 1, 2016. The facilities were great as well as the choices of concession items. As a visiting fan of the Kalamazoo Wings, the staff and fans were very welcoming. i am looking forward to visiting again very soon.

We enjoy supporting our local Greenville sport teams and after moving back into the area after being up north for 5 years, were excited to see that Greenville had a hockey team. Getting tickets to the event based on our needs was easy. Click and buy. We also wanted to buy a couple of Jerseys to support team. Called and the VP of Marketing and she met us at the store so we could get "game Jerseys" in time for our event. The team has talented players, and the caliber of play sure keep things interesting. We are seriously considering season tickets for next year. Great seats. Great game. Great time.

Great seats for the 2nd week in a row on the glass next to the visitor bench and visitor entrance. Game did not go well for the Swamp Rabbits, (Hate that name by the way), but it was a fun time anyway. Really enjoyed Superhero night but even though my entire family dressed up we received no love from the Emcee. I would suggest a Mascot for the team that can skate and entertain during stoppages. I used to live in Charleston and their Stingray mascot would motivate the crowd and get people involved. Might be a good idea for Greenville. I liked the black jerseys but the Ranger jerseys from the prior week are even better. Front row gets skipped when T-shirts are given away....don't forget the guys up front.

Lots of $5 parking options close to Bon Secours Wellness Arena, including the Church Street Garage adjacent. Traffic flow is well controlled by the local police department. The arena concourses are not huge, but are wide enough to minimize congestion. The facility has decent acoustics, sight lines appropriate for hockey, and relatively comfortable seats in the lower bowl with above average legroom. Concession variety is good, and prices are typical for minor pro hockey events. The arena staff is friendly & helpful, and the crowd is supportive of the home team.

My wife and I had a great time. It has been 20 years or more from the last hockey game I have been to. Looking forward to doing it again. And happy Greenville won. The only problem I saw was the lack of control. People just sitting anywhere they want. I feel this needs to be addressed. Other than that we had a great time.

Nothing wrong with the venue, but I won't be buying the Family Special again, which was 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs, 4 sodas and 4 foam fingers. We get there and the box office had a huge line. Since we'd printed our tickets at home, we go straight in and ask the lady at the greeting desk where we can redeem our stuff. She looks at our tickets like she's never seen them before, then proceeds to send us to another person, who sends us to another person. At this point, the game is 10 minutes underway and I'm walking around the whole venue with hungry kids. Finally they send us to a guy at a desk who gives us 2 (not 4) foam finger. Whatever, who cares. Then they tell us to go ask the food vendors for our hotdogs and sodas. The girl at the food place looks at our tickets again, befuddled, and finally tells us that we have to go to the box office to redeem our food tickets and then come back for the food. It took about 5 different people who work there to get this piece of information!!! So anyway, in the end we missed almost half the game to get 4 of the worst hotdogs ever ingested by human beings. Lines of communication are not very clear, at this venue. Just buy a ticket and keep your "special requests" to yourself.

Minor league games are a great value and the Warriors put on a good show. The Bi-Lo Center is easy to find; the facility is straight forward, nothing special. There was a terrible glare on the replay screen from our seats, but that just made me focus on the ice. My only gripe, and really it's just amusing, was with the beverages. They had $2 beers, which is awesome, but I could only have a couple because I had to drive home. Then a bottle of water is $4! and they won't give just a cup of water. So I asked for a $2 beer, without the beer, and filled it at the fountain.

What a great time we had...I took my wife and kids and everyone had a wonderful time. This was our first hockey experience and it was awesome!
You want excitement, then you need to see the Swamp Rabbits. When I lived in Florida, I had season tickets to the Tampa Bay Lightning. The play in this league is every bit as good and exciting as the NHL. When we visit Greenville, we always make sure the Swamp Rabbits are in town.
İt was my first hockey game so can't comment much on quality of game but lobisine was dissapointing but biggest dissapointment was lack of interest to game,Number of followers and level of enthusiasm
My husband & I went to our first hockey game at the end of last season just to try something new & we loved it!! Couldn't wait for this season to start! So much excitement & adrenaline pumping action, especially sitting near the plexiglass at the end zones!! Crazy intense when the players and/or puck slams against it in your face!! And the brawls we see!! We are definitely hooked & gonna see a lot more games this season!! Go Warriors!!
Had a great time visiting this arena, was easy to get around. The fans were welcoming even though I was cheering for the other team...was a very fun night of hockey! LIked where we sat as was high enough to see all the ice and watch play develop.
Great game between the two teams that ended in a shoot out! For our first local hockey game, my husband and I were impressed. Will definitely be back for more!
The level of play was OK -- the tempo picked up throughout the game. I was disappointed with the PA system and the microphones used for promotions during intermissions and breaks in play. They were turned up too loud and everything sounded like the "Charlie Brown teacher" (woh-woh-woh) from where I sat. And concessions are still too pricey -- a carry-over complaint from Greenville's previous hockey team. (I realize the team has no control over this, but when it directly affects attendance, you'd think the team would work harder with the arena to change it.) Overall, it was worth the money but could have been better. I also hope more people show up -- Greenville needs to re-embrace hockey.
Not a huge fan of hockey, but this was a great experience! The atmosphere was electric and the crowd was really into the game. Will definitely go again!
A buddy of mine and me took our first trip to Greenville to to the Bon Secour Wellness Arena. The seats were a little cramped for our liking, but that's our really biggest complaint. The arena is a nice place to go see a game. It's pretty big and atmosphere is fantastic. We would definitely go back.
Just a few rows behind the goaltender, and you really can get the full experience. Great hits and great action with a nice few of every shot, which was incredible.
Game was 4-2, just under 6 minutes when there was a stop in play. No announcement, not a word and about 30 minutes later, they ended the game. Canceled with 5 minutes left? Ice behind a goal was damaged. Half of Greenville came out to fix it, but to no avail. Game canceled, no one knew how to fix ice? This was Bush League, not worth seeing. We should have been offered a refund. Not a word, nothing from the team. Go see a real game in Raleigh, see how the sport should be played. Don't waste your time with this product.
This entire event got 5 stars from purchasing the tickets to coming back the next day so we could pick up our custom printed t shirts. The Bon Secours staff was very friendly, professional, and helpful through everything. I had a question about my tickets so I emailed them and received an immediate response with just the information I needed. And the hop shop staff put the numbers of our favorite players on our shirts for us. The security staff helped us as far as getting back into the building to pick up our shirts the next day. All in all, the entire staff gets 5 stars. The game itself was simply amazing. The entire game was so exciting it had everyone in my section screaming and banging the glass. The sound guy did an amazing job with the music selection and the entertainment was awesome with interacting with the fans. If you like to see the action part of hockey games and never been to one live, I would suggest glass seats in the curve next to the goal. That's where you get up close to the good hits. The players were amazing keeping everyone involved in the game. During a pause in the action and during the warm ups they would skate by the glass and interact with the kids. So the entire even gets 5 stars. If you have never been, I highly recommend going. If you are not a hockey fan, it will turn you into one. The lady sitting next to me knew nothing about the game, but was still so into it and told her husband she wanted to come back that she is now a hockey fan, lol.
Had a great time watching the game. It's a shame not more people go they have no idea how much fun they are missing. Tickets are a good price and the Swamp Rabbits have it going on.
The Swamp Rabbit organization puts forth great effort to create a fun family experience. The game was fast and furious and the atmosphere was interactive. Great entertainment value!
This was my first time to watch a hockey game at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena this past Saturday. We were able to get a great deal on lower level tickets on Fan Appreciation Day. I like how close the seats were to ice. There was a great turn out of families. young adults, and hockey fans. I was able to park close by to the Arena for $5 in a parking deck. It was a good night to watch hockey in a nice venue.
Road Warrior's staff went all out to create a fun and entertaining atmosphere for the fans. We especially enjoy the Scout nights and special events at games.
I've been a hockey fan my whole life. It truly is a great game! My experience at the Swamp Rabbits game (Opening Night) was like it always is; fun and exciting. The staff at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena treated us great, very polite, weren't afraid to cut up and laugh with us, and generally made us feel welcome. The food was great. A little pricey, but that's how sporting events are. The Well has to make some money off the deal if they want to stay in business. When I go to sporting events, I'm going with the understanding that the drinks and food will be pricey so I don't even take that into consideration when reviewing an event. Overall, great job!!! The only thing that could've made this night better was if the team won. But, can't win them all. I would definitely recommend anyone going to a hockey game here!
I enjoy visiting nearly any 'live' sports event and this was true of my visit to Bon Secours Arena to see the Road Warriors game. Two problems bothered me, however. First, the sound system was MUCH too loud. It almost made you wince. I would hesitate to return to an event there unless this was rectified. Secondly, it was dog night at the arena. As a dog owner, had I realized this, I would have welcomed the opportunity to bring our pet to the event. I'm glad I didn't, however. Some of the dogs near me were cowering because of the loud sound system. Also, though dogs were admitted free, there was no accommodation for seating. Our row was nearly full and the dogs had nowhere to sit unless they were under the owner's seat. At Flour Field, there is a designated area for pets to avoid this problem. Good idea, poor execution.
The horns blaring during game was extremely annoying. The horns were being honked during action of game which was very rude of certain fans and the ushers said there was nothing they could do. Maybe this is the cause of only about 12% of seats filled for first playoff game

The Greenville swamp rabbits (yes, their real name) played their hearts out. Up against the first place team, that the year previous was in a higher ranking league. Everyone played well, skated after the puck. Unlike some NHL players, no one hung around the neutral zone. If you like hockey, or an adoring fan or simply want to witness a fast sport, this would be the place to be.

Parking was pretty easy, although I would have appreciated a garage recommendation (fairly new to the area). Quick and easy to get in. Concessions were a bit expensive, but par for the course really. I grew up in the north where hockey was a big sport. Since we moved to SC, I hadn't been to a game in about 9 years. Decided to take a friend who has never been to a game before and we both absolutely loved it. A hockey game is a perfect family event, date night or just a fun time with friends. The Greenville Road Warriors crew and team puts on a wonderful show and is very good about keeping the crowd entertained when the players are off the ice. I had so much fun that I'm taking a group of friends back for a game on my birthday! With tickets so cheap, it's definitely something to look into!

The hockey games are always a blast, but they need more ushers. People were sitting in seats that weren't theirs, and would only move when the ticket holder showed up. Then, everyone would have to stand up to let those people move in the middle of the game. Besides that, it was fun, and we will be going back.

The games are fun, especially if you have children. The only thing that I didn't like was the fact that the young people who throw out the t-shirts will throw them to cute teenage kids instead of the children. Where my son and I sat, there we 2 high school girls sitting in front of us. They weren't trying to get the shirts as my child and I were, as well as other parents and their children were. But the guys throwing the shirts handed the shirts to those 2 girls on 2 different occasions that night. My son was crushed because he was jumping up and down and screaming while those girls sat there and did nothing. I guess you need to be a good looking teenager to get something free at a hockey game.

Stingrays played hard & won ... as expected. It is ECHL hockey, so you have to want to be there to enjoy it. Next time, I'll make sure not to sit where an aisle is between me & the majority of the playing surface so the local fans can have their fun up & down the aisles during the game.
I was very upset with the amount of drinking. The seats were too close together and I almost got a beer spilled in me while the person sitting next to me squeezed past me for the 5th time. We had the "best" seats but couldn't see most of the game because we were too close. We have always wanted to see a hockey game but we learned tha it is not something we will ever see again. The concessions were outrageously priced as well. We left early.
First Warriors game and only the second hockey game I've been to. It's "fast and furious" especially if you spend a little extra like we did and sit on the glass. You can really gain a feeling for not only the roughness of the sport, but the shear speed, strength, ability and quickness of the players.
What a fun event. This was my first ever hockey game and I really enjoyed it. The Toys for Tots teddy bear throw was amazing......they collected a ton of stuffed animals, what a great cause :) The music was great and the Warriors played a tough game even though they lost :(
Took my young daughter who loved the sights, sounds, snacks, and game, and is ready to go back! We will return this season! The only negative: had to relocate seats during the third period due to rowdy fans.
The game and extra entertainment was VERY family friendly! The game was good, but honestly the most enjoyable part was the mega-cam. They get people dancing and having a good time for those "in between" moments of the game. My only downer was two rows behind us people had cowbells and it was REALLY too loud. Is there anything the arena can do about this? It was observably annoying and disrupting to more than just my guest & me. I appreciate their team spirit (although they were cheering for the other team), but seriously it ruined my good seats. We ended up moving to open seats behind us that I know were cheaper seats than what I paid. I was annoyed that the cowbell people essentially forced me to waste my money. It seriously bummed me out b/c I had bought the tickets for my best friend's birthday as a surprise over a month in advanced. I would definitely go again, however next time I will buy the cheap seats that are away from everyone else to hopefully avoid the annoying & disturbing cowbell people. Grrr.... I LOVED the convenience of purchasing on the Ticketmaster website & also the app on my phone. I liked that I could use my phone to scan our E-tickets & I didn't have to carry around paper tickets!
