My husband and I are hip hop fans and we enjoyed The Legends of Hip Hop Concert from beginning to end. The artists sang all of their hits with enthusiasm and the crowd rocked with them. They didn't take the easy way out...they sang their own lyrics, danced, kept the crown engaged and rocked for a solid almost 4 hours. It reminded me of why I love hip hip and not the garbage rap that's out today....Don't miss out on this one. My husband is still talking about how much he enjoyed it almost a month later....

Doug E was awesome. The best performer. My husband went to sleep during whoodini. Salt and pepper were great also. Kurtis blow did a nice job. Biz markie was a no show. It was good but I could have just saw Doug E.

The Salt-n-Pepa Legends of Hip Hour Tour this past Saturday was a LOT of fun! We danced from beginning to end and each artist was fabulous and inspirational. I would HIGHLY recommend it and would DEFINITELY go again!

This venue was horrible. Worst floor seats I have EVER purchased. All the artists were great especially Dougie Fresh and Rakim. But I will never go to the Landers Center again.

I was disappointed at this year Legends of Hip Hop Tour. Last year s event was great. The best act was Doug E. Fresh, the rest was just disappointed. Tone Loc on stage high and his crack head looking dancer was just awful. Ok what the heck was with Rakim, dude couldn t even speak understandable English. It was announced that Slick Rick was coming on stage and he didn't come even come out. Don't think I'll be coming next year!!

Show was awesome. Da Brat ruined it for all. The audience was awesome, until Da Brat put everyone to sleep just before the main act. Rakhim was able to re-engage the crowd. It was just so unfair that he had to do so following da Brats performance. The crowd had been really pumped all night.

Great concert, great line up. If you love real Hip Hop and are more into lyrical content than banging beats this concert is for you. If you want to see the root of how Hip Hop started and what it means to be a Hip Hop artist and not just a rapper, go see the Legend of Hip Hop.

They were not hype, they only performed a couple of parts to a few songs and DaBrat just walked off stage... I want my money back. I was going to try and see Erykah Badu, Slick Rick and Dougie Fresh, but I'll just stick to Cheyne Park concerts in the summer time. Plus the theater was to tight, seating was horrible and CRAMPED!!!!

For any Old School Hip Hop fan, this show was pure fun! The 1st half with EPMD, Whodini, and Big Daddy Kane was off the chain. Everybody's favorite Ramonski Luv always hypeing the crowd as usual. The second half kinda slowed down. still had a great time.

A stellar evening of music is what anyone who attended the Legends Of Hip-Hop Tour witnessed Saturday night. The line up was so crazy you could hear various patches of the crowd exchanging friendly banter about who they thought would rock the hardest. EPMD & DJ Scratch were amazing in their role as the surprise "opening act". None the less, they got down like I knew they would. Whodini had the illest set of the night in my opinion. Both Kane & Rakim rocked hard as well & thrilled the crowd & reminded all of how special "the golden era emcees" are.

It was a blessing to have gotten the opportunity to see them for the first time all in one place. To think how many years have gone by, they all look and sound good. I pray that they continue to keep Hip Hop alive (the way we grew up and understand the art) by educating and displaying the art. They displayed it excellently on Sunday night. Legends of Hip Hop was a great idea and I enjoyed every moment of it. I hadn't danced that hard in almost 30 years. Thank you for a grand time.

Very nice stadium. Mature crowd. No fighting, no violence. However, the pre-show was too, too long. Although the tickets stated that the show would begin at 12 noon, the headline acts did not start until 5:00 p.m. which made it a very long day and night.

It was nice to hear all of our old school songs BUT the show started late (2pm) and the performers did not come out back to back and then the rain made it hard to hang out until another artist came out even though i had an umbrella. The drinks were expensive and bathroom lines were ridiculous. Mc Lyte did her thing! Whodini & Special Ed was good. Dana Dane was alright. I LEFT as soon as Rakim came on so then I missed the best performance by Doug E Fresh and Slick Rick I heard it they made it worth of every penny. I recommend arriving a bit late and dress per the weather and staying until the very end!

Absolutely the best concert I've been to in a while. All the performers showed up and showed out! We actually had rain throughout the concert and it didn't slow any of the acts down. It was literally an all day event and I spent every minute of it on my feet reminscing of the late 80's and early 90's. I definitely recommend anyone who has the opportunity to purchase a ticket or tickets as this was a great ride down memory lane.

Saw the show in Detroit - 3rd Row Orch... right at the stage.. Show started on time and opening comic Billy was on point... Turn UP! Big Daddy Kane - Got it done.. sounds sharp as ever and even walkled thru the crowd.. Showed me some love with an handshake Sugar Hill Gang, still know how to work the crowd... to the hip hop.. Whodini.. great stage show,.. still a team Rob Base.. He was ok.. kinda ho hum,.. really didnt feel his energy MC Lyte.. Hail to the queen.. had some mic problems.. but still good.. wish she woulda done some of the cameo raps Slick Rick.. finally made a Detroit show.. shook my hand.. and did his thang.. Great seats. We were 6 rows from the stage. We got there just when Big Daffy Kane was performing. He even brought out Skoob and Scrap Lover. Most of the sets were short. Sugar Hill came out and ripped it but did mostly Grand Master Flash hits. Rob Base was meh in my opinion. MC Lyte did her thing. Whoodini killed it. Dougie Fresh was the closer. Slick Rick did one song and dipped out. He did Loddi Doddi with Doug and then Mona Lisa. The MC kept the crowd hype. Over all good show.

Don't waste your time or MONEY! It was absolutely horrible!!! Slick Rick was a no show and the other acts were boring. We spent most of the time listening to talking and other artists music. I'll say it again...........Don't waste your MONEY!!!!
