A celebration of a bygone era. A crisp, clean and tight big band. Jr 's voice resembles his dads. Crooners are a little before my time but me and my wife had fun. If you get a chance, go. This type of entertainment is rare.

Excellent story telling show. 3 things made this a memorable show. 1. The songs were good and sang well overall. 2. Orchestra was just spot on good. 3. The video show of Frank Sinatra's life and career, was an added feature that figured in my review. Videos played while Frank Jr. sang and it told a life story of a legendary performer who is dearly missed. A combination of all of these 3 things is what made this review 4 stars.

This is the best two hours you're going to spend. It's more than a concert, it's a master class on the life of the man, not the legend, the man. The teacher is his son, Frank Jr., who sings his father's songs with the same flair and gusto as his father. He tells, through a multimedia experience the rise, the fall, the good and the bad. If you're a fan of Sinatra, you MUST see this. If you're new to him and his music, you'll convert. See this show.

Frank, Jr. brought back a slice of the big band era with his selection of standards from the American Songbook that graced the repertoire of his father's long career. Frank, Jr.'s voice was rich and velvety and did justice to the wonderful songs. The seasoned jazz musicians that backed up Mr. Sinatra, Jr. were sensational and accomplished. All in all it was a very memorable evening.

This is the third or fourth time I have seen Frank Jr. in concert and, by far, this was the best. Even better than when I saw him at the Hard Rock in Florida when he had a large band with him. He is definitely better. Frank Sinatra was the best ballad singer ever, and Frank Jr. is just a chip off the old block.

The band was first rate, the musical phrasing was inspired by none other than the chairman and WOW . . . what a show!! This sound was superior acoustically to most venues. Frank Jr. is clearly a seasoned pro and comfortable in 'those shoes' , all the while being his own master performer . The musicianship was oozing from every inch of the stage. Frank is clearly a master of this genre - I Loved it! Disappointed only in the absence of a curtain call to perform again . . .after a well deserved standing ovation. Enjoyed the sophistication inherent in the performance.

Was so glad to see Frank Jr. had a 21 piece orchestra accompany him. Without that many piece band, it would not have done the legendary music justice. They were all very professional and played exectly to the original music of Frank Sr. He speaks very intelligent and shared his moments not only of his dad, but also some with Dean Martin. If you enjoy the music of Frank Sinatra, this is a must see concert. If I had to put a percentage on it, I would say he sounded 95% of his father's singing voice. Enjoy...

I found out about this event the night before, so I quickly bought tickets for me and my boyfriend. We've been wanting to plan a trip to Atlantic City to see Frank Jr. in concert, so I jumped at the opportunity to see him an hour away. Boy, am I happy that I bought the tickets even with such short notice! He was outstanding! He started off singing about three or four songs without a break, and then after that he started telling jokes or stories in between songs. He's charismatic (really knows how to deliver jokes/ great storyteller), a great performer, and has a wonderful voice reminiscent of his father's! It's amazing, he sounds even more similar to his father live. After a few songs, he switched over to some of his father's classics and sang a couple of songs per decade of his father's career. He played with a 21 musician band; I think that his show is one of the last around that embodies that beautiful era in music-- big band jazz. Frank Jr.'s performance gave me chills and brought on the nostalgia! Frank Jr. is a very blessed, talented, skillful, and highly experienced/knowledgeable about his genre! I highly recommend going to go see him, he will not disappoint! My boyfriend and I enjoyed Frank Jr. soooooo much that we're still planning a trip to go see him; Frank Jr. is definitely worth it! =D We hope to get closer seats to the stage next time.

Frank Jr. really put on a nice show. The song choices and his backing orchestra were tremendous. While he does not possess the pipes of the Chairman, Frank Jr. knows how to sing the songs and does justice and respect to the standards made famous by Sinatra.

The show was great it was alittle short 1hr 15minutes but i would recommend this show for all Frank and RatPack fans. The acoustics in the arena were great and made the band and Frank Jr sound like every row was first row. I hope this will be a regular stop for him in the future I would go again and again.

Saw Frank, Sr. in concert 3 times. Never saw Frank, Jr. Decided to take my Mom to see him as I figured she would get a kick out of seeing him as she had seen his Dad once. Wonderful concert!!! It was thoughtfully scheduled in the afternoon as most fans were elderly and could attend. Length of show was good as well. Frank's voice was very strong and smooth. Listening to those tunes brought back lots of memories for all, as you could see the audience remembering the "good old days". Frank was so sweet in his audience conversation too. So happy to have the privilege to take my mom back in time to see a performer who is on the top of his game and doing a great homage to his Dad and fans through the years yet so talented in his own right!

This event was a Christmas present for my grandparents. They actually got to see Frank Sinatra Sr. in concert many years ago. My grandparents actually got to go backstage after the concert and meet and talk with Frank Sinatra Jr. and my grandfather gave Frank Jr a photo he had of Frank Sr that was taken by my grandfather's neighbor (a then professional photographer)...my grandparents have had that picture of Frank Sr. framed on their wall for years and took it down and gave it to Frank Jr. after the concert because they wanted the Sinatra family to have it.

My son surprised me by bringing me to the Frank Sinatra Jr show and didn't tell me who I was there to see till he went on stage. The opening comedian was extremely funny. Frank Jr was an unbelievably awesome show. I would definitely go again and recommend to friends. My only complaint was that the Lakeland center didn't have enough handicapped parking and I wished the shouw would have been a little longer

Nice to see Jr in action, although the whole concert was extremely short (not even 90 minutes) and he sang only 2 or 3 of the really famous songs. That was a disappointment, would have expected more of the golden oldies, the real hits his father had. His voice is ok, but it's not THE voice. So just go to feel a bit of the atmosphere, but don't expect to much.

Amazing performer. We enjoyed the show. It was everything we had expected. We only hoped it could have lasted longer. He should perform more often here at the HardRock. You ask to upload pictures in this review, however the ticket specifically requests to not take photos?? The restaurant Tuscany was unaware of the free drink promotion advertised on the HardRock Website. The bartender and manager did not know about the offer however they did honor the promotion without any further hesitation. The promotion also included Bongos and Martorano's. Bongos Sky Lounge knew about the promotion, but their bar tender on the main floor did not. We felt uncomfortable asking for free drinks from a bartender who was not aware of the offer - at two different bars. We advised the players club member services inside the casino and they too were not familiar with the offer. The manager thanked us for bringing the problem to their attention and that was the end of it. Next time a promotion like this is offered in conjunction with a concern we will make sure to print the offer from the HardRock Website.

I am too young to have seen his father in concert, but this will be a very special memory. I am happy to have been able to make it to his son's concert to celebrate Sinatra's 100th. He clearly is very talented. He sounded good and had good energy. I was a little disappointed that he did not make this show more personal . He didn't seem to talk of Sinatra as a father, but more of another performer that he knew and is now covering his music. It seemed like just his stock show and not a true celebration of this special occasion.

I had the pleasure of seeing Frank Sinatra Sr. perform live 3 times, and saw Frank Jr. perform twice. He is an amazing talent in his own right, and when he sings Frank Sr.'s songs you can almost never tell the difference. This show was a wonderful tribute to a man that I'm sure Frank Jr. grew up having very mixed feelings about. Frank Jr. sets the record straight on some of those long standing rumors, and shared private family pictures and stories which gave us a glympse into the superstar's life. In the end, as imperfect as he may have been, Frank Jr. loved him, and it certainly showed in this fabulous show. Nancy was in the audience and I was hoping she would join him on stage to sing happy birthday, but it didn't happen. Other than that, my only wish is that I could buy a DVD of this performance!

I thoroughly enjoyed the songs and music presented by Frank Sinatra jr. The big band orchestra was phenomenal. He sounded so much like his father; had the mannerisms and phrasing during the different songs. The only thing that I felt should have been done was a community singing of "Happy Birthday" since that is what we were celebrating. Too bad it wasn't filmed for PBS.

The younger Sinatra paid his Dad a very well planned and fitting tribute. The visual images along with live & recorded narration during the music program was very entertaining and educational. I grew up in the 60's listening to WNEW in New York and was able to get an early appreciation for the elder Mr. Sinatra's talents. Now in middle age I was easily able to relate to Jr's interpretation of his Father's music catalog. Thanks to Frank Jr for bringing his program to North Carolina.

I enjoyed the show. The orchestra was excellent and the arrangements top notch. I would have liked to more of the band members as soloists. Frank Sinatra Sr. still lives in his son's voice to a fair degree. However, Sinatra Jr's singing ability is marginal in that he has trouble hitting pitches dead center and frequently has to do a kind of trombone slide into the center of the note. It is worth noting that Sinatra Sr. did not stop singing even when he forgot lyrics at times. It is hard to take the music out of the performer. I liked the historical aspect with the old videos (I am an old guy who has followed Sinatra since the '40's) and the bits about his life history. Sinatra Jr. presented the positive side and I think that was appropriate. Biographies however, will present the other side of this most complex and interesting person. All in all, it was worthwhile - a good two hours of entertainment.

If you are a fan of Ol Blue Eyes and his music you will be delighted by this show. I must say he truly was amazing. The genuine love and admiration he has for his fathers music and life make for a sincere, funny, heart warming, educational and entertaining evening. At times with the voice and the lighting he looked and felt like Sinatra Sr was on stage. This ran chills down my spine which I'm sure was Jr's intent. As like his dad, Jr loves singing on stage and presents himself as a true American/Italian singer. Bravo!! I wish now if Jr would just write a book about all the stories of his life! Imagine being Frank Sinatra's son-wow -now that in it self is intense! God Bless you Frank Sinatra Jr and Thank You for bringing us your wonderful show!

Frank Sinatra, Jr. did a wonderful job bring back his father. He sounded remarkably like his father. Didn't quite have his father's swag, tho. But he was quite engaging, nonetheless. The family photos gave a touching insight into his family. The news stories were very informative. I didn't realize how involved in the civil rights movement he was. And, the orchestra. know that it's hard to duplicate Frank Sinatra due to his presence and command of the stage and Sinatra Jr. is a bit more mellow that his pop, but he sure put on an enjoyable show. He had a great mix of songs and included some videos and stories about his family life. This was Frank Sinatra's 100th birthday. I got to see Sinatra Sr years ago and he did put on a great show. I'm glad that my wife and I went to the show and got to listen to Jr. he really sounds like his dad. My recommendation that I would give him is not to use a wireless mike use a wired mike this would keep his hands more busy and allow him to move a bit more.

Loved the show...was so much in the way it was done, like his Father. His voice certainly older and somewhat worn but as Father did, as did Frank Jr., he wove us through the early and later years of our countries greatest artist. What a very enjoyable..memorable evening!. It was a wonderful, heartfelt tribute to his father and probably difficult doing this concert over and over again. There were times he wiped away some tears, and very understandable giving all the old pictures and information being shown on the screen. Even Frank Jr. has gotten older now but still has much of his fathers voice and that forever "coolness" . The 20 piece orchestra was the best and made you long for that wonderful time of "big band" era and live music. Somewhere......Frank is looking down with a big smile on his face!

From the moment the valet took my car, a quick Timbers burger (1 pound !!) drinks at the bar with Alfred the bar tender (he was young but carried himself like an old pro, I'd like to write someone and get him an honorable mention very impressed) then the ushers got us to our excellent seats and they were comfy too. Frank Jr's show was a new retrospective of his father with songs of course pictures and video on the big screen since his father is 100 years old this year. His voice is even stronger this time and the orchestra was a wonderful compliment. His song list is always great. He gives the people what they want to hear. The time went by too fast.. My only complaint.....He could have sang a couple more hours. (HAHA)

Having missed Frank Sinatra many years ago, it was a treat to see Frank Sinatra Jr in the same venue. The show was a beautiful mix of music, photos, new articles and stories. Frank Sinatra Jr. sounded wonderful and his large orchestra was a delight to see and hear. I hope to see him again soon.

The 34 piece orchestra was AMAZING!! Frank Jr. does not have a vibrant personality on stage -- more aloof like he's just telling a story of his father to music and pictures --- he comes off as being depressed and does not exude warmth as you would expect from an offspring telling a story about their father.....I enjoyed the pictures projected but the majority weren't any I hadn't seen a thousand times......

Mr. Sinatra was better than expected in his show dedicated to his famous father. Frank, Jr. told stories, shared pictures and articles and performed powerfully at times and tenderly at times many of his father's signature songs with a live band. You will learn a thing or two about the senior Sinatra whether you are a casual listener or a seasoned fan. This year celebrates the 100th birthday of Frank, Sr. and the family is pulling out all the stops. Take advantage of this opportunity and go see the show! You will be glad you did.

This was a spectacular and fitting tribute to Frank Sinatra's 100th birthday. Frank, Jr. was in rare form and his voice was the best I've heard in a long time. So great to hear the fantastic band! Sinatra's stories about his father were touching and amusing. Wonderful show! We will try to catch it again on tour.

From start to finish, it was a very enjoyable and entertaining evening. All songs were well executed and fitting to the story being told. Learned some interesting facts about Frank Sr. and his life, plus his relationship with Frank Jr.. All in all, a great evening - at times it seemed as if Frank Sr. was there.

Show was very good, but the venue stinks at the Valley Forge Casino. They have taken the name Valley Forge Music Fair, but it's nothing like what the Music Fair in Devon, Pa. was like. The Music Fair was in the round and there wasn't a bad seat in the house. The Valley Forge Casino is just a bunch of chairs set up on a flat floor. So they only way you can see the event in on the screen from most seats. Won't be going back any time soon until they make a real theatre. Frank Sinatra Jr. was great, sounds just like his Dad!

The Frank Sinatra Jr show is excellent. Frank Jr does a tribute to his father, the man - through music and photographs and newspaper clippings. Many of the photographs I had not seen previously. Some of the newspaper clippings were vicious based on the times and events going on in Sinatra's life and the politics of the time. Sinatra Jr does an amazing musical tribute to his dad as well and at times sounds very much like him. The orchestra was also amazing (about 40 pieces). It is just too bad the venue was so bad. I was expecting a Vegas type theatre and instead it was a hotel ballroom with those hard hotel chairs that were way too close to each other. With a large man on each side of me, I was squeezed uncomfortably. Even though there were warnings not to record the concert, the person next to me came in late (with a drink in each hand) and proceeded to record the concert. The individuals in front of me came in half way through, dropped several glasses which crashed to the floor and broke, and also proceeded to record the concert via their cell phone so the light from these ruined the ambiance of the show. I learned a lesson as to not attend a show at this venue again.

Frank Sinatra Jr. should just sing without the video's of his dad, it was a distraction from the main performance. They should have used a hologram of Frank Sinatra singing Chicago with Frank Jr. as they recorded on the Duets album. The orchestra was spot on as to be expected with all the original arrangements.
