2nd time of seeing 1964 in less than 1 year with my grandson who is 8. My daughter also came along this time. This event is for all ages. Just like going back in time to see the Beatles in the early years. Very entertaining. This time they also had an opening act with Sam Hunter this young man is a great guitarist and singer I would love to hear again. All and all a great evening. We wiil catch again next time around.

People sat through the entire show. A group of girls that stood to dance were told to sit by a guard. It was the most boring concert ever.

I bought the tickets to 1964 for my husband. He is a huge Beatle fan, early years. I was just along for the ride but within minutes of the first song being played I was hooked on this foursome who sounded so much like the real thing. I felt like I was being thrown back in time when music was simpler and the words had meaning. I would recommend this tribute to anyone who asks and wouldn't think twice about seeing the show again and again.

Sitting in the first 5 rows it was amazing how good they all looked. They had mannerisms down pat for thier identities, voices were great, stage presence was totally convincing. Yet they all still had the skill to be having fun being there. An extra added benefit was how "John" could NOT say cell phone when he asked everyone to take out thier "you know *making a hand motion to indicate a phone" Dick Tracy thing". I do plan on attending again next year and hopefully bring alot alot of friends that I talked to about the TRIBUTE. A totally GEAR performance. TLC

If you enjoy the Beatles & wish to momentarily take a step back in time, relax or sing along...this is the show for you. Awesome likeness to the real thing. Exuberant performance by a band that LOVES performing the songs of yesteryear...from the haircuts down to the shoes...and the voice comparison is amazing. Had a great time & will see them again when they return to the area!

The sound of the band was good, but the time frame of the music could have been expanded. I would have liked to hear all the Beatles music, not just the late sixties. It also seemed odd that the warm-up performer played all Beatles music.

I'm almost ashamed to admit to people how many Beatles tribute bands I see. It's a tough act to replicate, and tougher still to make me want to see a band repeatedly. I think this was the 5th time I've seen 1964 - The Tribute. It was also a gorgeous evening at one of my favorite venues, and was a wonderful evening. The band is great.

I saw GetBack at Meadowbrook several years ago and thought 1964 was the same band but renamed to 1964 to reflect that they were now doing only early Beatles. Not sure it was the same band or only one person (George) was the same. Also, two of the performers for this Meadowbrook gig (Paul and John) were different people than those on the web site and in the advertisements. They were good, but young and not as accomplished as George. He really had the licks down perfect. Last, we were really close such that we were in behind the PA speakers suspended from the stage and there were no PA speakers or monitors on the stage. So, we heard mostly drums and bass and missed much of the richness in the vocals and harmonies. That might have had some to do with it now being as good of an experience. Being in the first front rows is good for watching them play, not so great for getting a good mix of the sound. We saw Rain early this year at Masonic Temple. I'd give that 5 Stars.

We have seen this show in the past and enjoyed every moment of it. We are big Beatle fans and these guys have a great show. Although these were not all of the same band members we had seen in this show last year it was still a wonderful time. 1964 The Tribute is a show for all ages which all ages can enjoy and have a wonderful time.

This is the second time that my husband and I have seen the 1964 The Tribute Beatles band. Lots of good fun. We sang and danced in the aisles to all of the songs. The band is very true to the original Beatles in sound and action. We relived our "Beatlemania" days with the band. Great fun!

Beatles fans of all ages were treated to an energetic show that captured the spirit of the beloved Fab Four in their heydey. Musically, this installment of 1964 the Tribute, no doubt, impressesed Beatlemaniacs with near spot-on treatment of the most diverse and recognizable music catalogue in the history of rock 'n' roll. From the costumes and the way the players held their guitars, to the cheeky Beatle chit-chat between numbers, it was obvious that proper reverance was carefully paid. Although the end of the show felt rather abrupt with just one curtain call and considerably less than 90 minutes on stage, Fab Four fans seemed satisfied. All in all, "...a splendid time is guaranteed for all."

These guys are great! Appart from the looks and the manerisms of our original heros, they are brilliant musicians. Every song is note perfect to the records. Every little nuance is just so. They all play their parts very well, but for me George's guitar playing was perfection. The audience was from 5 to 80. Lots of teens there. I took my 18 year old and her two friends and they loved it. They knew most of the songs and were singing and dancing along with the band. I was only sorry that the set was shorter than I would have liked. I have seen them before and recall them playing a little longer.

We really had a good time at the concert. The Guys did a good job. My Wife thought that they could have been more flashy. I rember having seen a Beatles copy cat band at another time, years ago, and this group switched it up half way though and dressed in the late 60's Beatles garb. That band played longer too. We thought to tickets were over priced for a copy Band also. It was nice that the place was not jam Packed. We walked in at 8 "starting time" and got really good seats.

My wife and I went to see the "Beatles" impressionists and we were wowed beyond belief. Great show and great job by the band to duplicate the originals. When I closed my eyes I traveled back in time to the mid 60's and it was a great feeling. The venue is of course second to none; Red Rocks in Colorado is absolutely the best concert venue on the planet. A feeling echoed by "John" from the band. I would recommend this show to any Beatles fan. it is well worth it to relive the memories. We will definitely go to see them again next year.

It was as if the Beatles where on stage. The set up and instruments looked just like the original setting. It seemed to begin slow but quickly came to life ! The movements and vocals were right on. This was the first concert my husband has been to. Hes in his 50's And a huge Beatles fan. Hes also a drummer and listened to the Beatles to learn as a young man. He didn't once make a comment about the playing of the drums !!! So not like him !!!! The songs was just like the Beatles did it. Instrumentals and vocals right on cue.

Would have loved to hear Hey Jude, I get by with a little help from my friends, and Let It Be, but we understand they only went through a certain time frame. 1964 The Tribute is by far the best Beatle show one can go to. Their attention to detail is impeccable...all the right instruments of Beatles touring era...Paul playing left handed. They play the songs just like the Beatles played them. I have some of their live CD s and sometimes I m not sure if it s them or the actual Beatles! I have been seeing them for the last 30 years and they have never failed to amaze me.

The music, sound and looks were very good. "George" is an incredible guitar player and his riffs were spot on. My problem was the length of the show and the set list. Based on other setlists from last year, they cut out some of the songs (Michelle, Yesterday, Eleanor Rigby and a couple others). Afterwards, I found that they stick to the 63-66 time frame so allot of my favorites were not played. The show started promptly at 7:30pm and we were in our car and out of the parking garage by 9:30pm with a 15 minute intermission so the show length was short! Those that are a fan of all their music would be far better off seeing the tribute band, The Fab Four, as they do the entire years of the Beatles.

Since I'm a young Beatlemaniac at the age of 17, I clearly never got to see a real Beatles concert in person (I've seen recorded ones though but it's just not enough!). When my friend and I went to a 1964 The Tribute concert two years ago we literally cried. They are like the real thing and they are so talented. Not only does their music sound like The Beatles but they also do a very fab job impersonating them with the way they talk, move around, and their humor. You feel like you're literally in 1964 and I love it so much. They're so fun and sweet. I remember when they signed autographs for my friend and I and gave us hugs - we were fangirling the whole time! I swear, it's the closest thing you can get to seeing the Beatles! Any huge Beatlemaniac HAS to see this tribute band. I saw them again this summer with my sister and fangirled the whole time... so much so that 'John' (Mark) noticed and threw me his pic! I love them so very much and I totally recommend seeing them. Thank you Mark, Bobby, Tom, and Mac for being so fab and groovy!

If you like the early years of The Beatles, this is the cover band you want to see! I was standing in the lobby when they first came on stage and they had a tv out there and I thought it was a colorized clip from the Ed Sullivan Show! They sound very close to The Beatles and from where I was, about 25 rows back, they also looked very much like The Beatles! They also joked around a lot just like I would have imagined The Beatles would have. A little on the corny side but right for that decade! I would Highly recommend this band!

I was fortunate to see 1964 in the early 1980's and was impressed with their overall performance. It was so refreshing to see that the years have been kind - not only is their music perfect - diminished chords, when appropriate, etc., perfect licks; their harmonies sound just like the fab four; and their mannerisms mirror image; their on stage interaction is exactly what I recall from the Beatles as a very young teenager. I have seen other Beatles Tribute groups and, by far, 1964 is the best!

The band, the sold-out crowd, and the ampitheatre were all amazing! I always wanted to hear a concert at Red Rocks and grabbed the opportunity to fly from PA to Denver and drive right to the concert. Being a half hour late was actually good as this is when one realizes the containment of sound in the ampitheatre. As I was handing in my ticket at the entrance, I couldn't even hear the music inside. Truly amazing....all contained within those rocks!!! The Tribute Band was very cool as they projected the look, the sound, and the music with original 1964 instruments. The crowd was happy and the seating roomy (remember this concert was sold-out). Going to a concert at Red Rocks Ampitheatre is a must and you must take everyone you know.

These guys have been doing this for quite awhile. And it shows. the physical resemblance to the Beatles is only marginal, but the mannerisms and voices are spot on. Close your eyes and you can transport yourself back to 1964. Some of the vocals may even be better than the original. Their cheeky patter between songs only serves to heighten the experience and reflects the senses of humor John and Paul revealed during their interviews and shows. Well worth investing to see these guys play. Only problem--the venue was only half full. Rockford as usual doesn't come out for some of the best performances to come to town. Same with In the Mood which appeared last week. The same people bitch that Rockford never gets first class entertainment but fail to support these shows. 250,000 people in Winn county. Shame on you. My husband is a huge Beatles fan, so he's the one I bought the tickets for. We went in thinking, no matter what, these weren't going to be the Beatles, but just guys dressing up and trying to sound like them. But it was so much more. The entire show was very close to form, trying to be as authentic as possible. And they sounded a lot like them. Even in the between songs banter. It was so much fun. They sang a great mix of songs, got the audience to sing and dance along. It was great. As close to a real Beatles concert as you can get and I would definitely go again. In fact, we've already purchased tickets to the next Beatles tribute band coming to town.

These guys get it right...If you are an early Beatles fan you will not be disappointed. The equipment, their facial features, the banter and the mannerisms are correct. I will see them again.

I had heard that 1964 did a good job, but had never heard them before. They were beyond Awesome! They not only got the sound and the visuals right (even standing and holding the guitars the same way), but they looked like they were having fun. I loved it and I hope to see them again.

If you like Beatles music but think that going to a tribute show might be a cheesy re-make then drop EVERYTHING you are doing and buy tickets for this show. Everything from the costumes to the accents to the voices to the mannerisms were SPOT-FREAKING-ON!!!! The music? This band plays as tight as ANY professional band you will find ANYWHERE! The fact that it is Beatles music is the icing on the cake. To be in a theater with so many Beatles fans listening in awe was actually emotional for me. The Beatles music still means so so so much to so many people. There were several really touching moments during the show. This was more than a concert. It was a show; dare I say a theater production pulled off incredibly. The humor of "John", the mannerisms of "Paul", the head bob of "Ringo", the chops of "George". OH MY FREAKIN GOD! I know I sound like a slappy, but before the show I was tribute band doubter. I will go to this show EVERY time it comes within driving distance. A great entertainment bargain at $20 for good seats. We were about 20 rows back. My only complaint was the wasted baby boomers acting like a bunch of drunk idiots and distracting us younger generations from enjoying a chance to hear an awesome show. Security came and put them in their place so they left. LOL!!! Great show. A really classy show!

I had no idea how fabulous this group was going to be as I had never heard of them before. When I bought my tickets, I thought the group would lip synch and be OK. Was I ever wrong! They played the instruments and sang and had all the mannerisms down pat! I thought I was listening to the Beatles and was transported back to the 60's. After the concert, the guys all did a meet and greet with the audience and signed autographs. After I gushed about their performance, the one who portrayed John gave me his guitar pick that he had used in the show. Wow! They are nice guys and wonderful performers. I will certainly go see them again when they come back to San Antonio and I am telling all my friends about them. As an aging hippie, I had a blast! Thanks for bringing 1964 back to life.

I had seen 1964 "The Tribute" once before, many years ago, and they mentioned this was their 34th year of doing this, which was amazing. The show was great. Their personalities and quips were spot on, and warranted chuckles every time. They sound good, and the show was really just FUN, which was greatly appreciated considering how much negativity and hate - we're subjected to on a daily basis from other current events. I was so happy I made this show, and that I took my mom who also loved it.

What a fantastic evening with this incredible band. It was a relief to go back to simpler times and seeing a group of talented men presenting songs that were sweet, melodic, words we can understand and sing along with, no fires on stage, no crazy dancing, no piercings, no tattoos and dressed in suits!! Sure wish this would all come back for the younger generation to enjoy! The group played for well over 2 hours w/only a short intermission. It was fun to pretend we were at an actual Beatles' concert! The guy playing John started this band 33 years ago....they did not miss a beat the entire night, the guitar playing was awesome as well as the drums keeping the beat.....great enjoyment, an amazing, happy evening!

This was an amazing performance by a highly acclaimed group of performers. It was as if you were listening to the actual Beatles without all the screaming!! Highly recommend this blast from the past at a most reasonable price!

We have attended the 1964 "The Tribute" at the Tennessee Theatre since 1994. The group has great humor and are very good performers. Their sound and music ability is a great tribute to the Beatles. Each member of the band are very talented from playing their instruments to their voices. Looking forward to seeing them again next year.

Great show again by these guys! This is the third time I have seen them. All great shows. Note for note perfect! This time they played alot of old covers which I loved! A few Carl Perkins songs. Honey Don't and a few others. I had to sit next to some guy who had to talk throughout the show. Very distracting. I said something to him about it. It did no good. Very rude. Go to the lobby if you want to talk instead of listening to the show! Or stay home! But it was still a fine show by the lads. Can't wait to see them again.

The group that played the Beatles were so realistic we actually felt like it was Paul, John, George and Ringo on the stage. The songs they chose were most of my favorites and the funny banter added to the performance. I would definitely go see this again in the future.

The concert was lots of fun, especially at a smaller venue like the Tivoli in Chattanooga. They played many of my Beatles favorites and sounded very much like them, even when chatting to the audience. My only disappointment was that they did not play Hey Jude or Yesterday, perhaps there are licensing issues with certain songs but if not, I hope they will add them in the future.

This was a solid show and true to Beatles period in every way. The sound was great and the songs were played true to Beatles form. The show is a must for Beatles fans, but probably not as appealing to non fans. The sets are packed with favorites from the pre Sgt Pepper days. Don't go if you are hoping for the tripping Beatles stuff. No commentary, no videos, no costume changes just non stop Beatles classics from the 60s.

This is the 4th time we have seen 1964. We have always had a great time. This year they sang several songs we never heard before. They didn't sing songs we were expecting to hear. The crowd didn't get into it like they normally do. All in all, we left wanting more!

Thought the performance was very boring. The group had very little interaction with the audience and their performance lacked energy on all levels. I think out of the entire two hour performance, they only had the audience standing and clapping during two songs. Could not believe the play list they chose. So many unknown songs. For example, songs they did not play- Love me do, I feel fine, Ticket to ride, Yesterday, we can work it out, Penny Lane, All you need is love, Hello, Goodbye, Hey Jude, Get back, Come together, Let it be and the long and winding road. I attended a concert a few years back with a group called American English, another Beatles tribute band. What a show they put on!! High energy with lots of audience interaction, costume changes and they played all the Beatles HITS, not songs that we had never heard.

If you like Beatles music, you won't regret going to this concert. It's like going back in time, with authentic music, down to the instruments, and authentic clothing, accents, and even hair. These guys never fail to get the audience up on their feet!

These 4 men are the absolute best Beatles imitators there are; they look, dress, and mimic them in every way. I have seen them 4 times and they are just as good as when I first saw them if not better. I will continue to see them from time to time.
