I had wanted to visit San Francisco (from Hammond, IN) and I figured what a better time than when my favorite comedian was on stage for three nights? I was right! While I seen many beautiful landmarks of the city, I also went to see Chris Kattan all three nights. The bouncers were kind of teasing me about being there AGAIN because the material doesn't really change but joke's on them because there were instances that made for a whole new experience every night. All four openers (including the emcee) were hilarious. I wish I could remember their names, aside from emcee Jessica Seely (sp). The second opener told a few different jokes on the 3rd night. I thought Chris was hilarious, too. It's fun to hear little SNL anecdotes. My particular favorite joke was about rapper Drake. The only thing I'm critical about is it sounds like he's done most if not all of the same material since he started stand-up a few years ago. He really should come up with something else. But for now, for what it's worth I enjoyed him. The first night, everything was normal. The second, in the middle of a joke, there was a heckler who raised her hand and asked a question about a Night at the Roxbury chiropractor bills in the middle of the joke. It was absurd. She was escorted out. But man, did we all (including Chris) shriek into tears from laughter after that. She was actually pretty creepy but he was able to really turn it around. And on the third night, also in the middle of a joke, the fire alarms went off. Maybe 1/3 left but as for the rest of us it was like we forgot the purpose of fire drills. It turned out there was just a tire burning outside and the show went on for those of us that stayed, a few jokes skipped. After each show, he happily took photos with fans and he was very sweet to the point where he remembered my name and asked to keep in touch. It was all very surreal.

I paid $35 a ticket to see Chris do a stand up comedy show. Instead, all we got was stories about the 40th SNL reunion and random re-hashing of highlights from his career on SNL. The stories were not well thought out or even all that funny. He literally just got up there and "winged it". He wrote no bits, and just stumbled and bumbled around up there. It was very awkward for us to watch actually, we felt bad because we love Chris. But... Chris, you took our money and put out NOTHING for it except showing up and making fun of the venue. I can tell you that you're probably playing at that venue based on what you actually put into your act. I wanted you to be GREAT and to have some belly aching laughs, but... instead we just felt weird and confused and couldn't wait for the time to be up so your could stop the misery... "do'h!"

Bought tickets to see him in Vegas. Advertised as suitable for families with kids 5 years and up. Walked out after 15 minutes of vulgarity and profanity with my son. $300 wasted on this comedian . Bought tickets with ticketmaster and I suggest they reveiw subject matter before advertising it as suitable for families!

Chris Kattan was awesome. He did some of his SNL characters and told hilarious stories and jokes. He did a meet and greet afterwards and graciously took photos with fans. The reviews complaining that his jokes were offensive are inaccurate - if you are so easily offended by jokes and take everything literally, then comedy shows are not for you. There was a heckler and he turned it into a hilarious bit, but was also nice to the heckler who was about to escorted out. The openers were mostly funny too.

Chris Kattan was horrible. Not funny at all. Rambled on for 45 minutes about the good old days of SNL. I saw him in Dania, Florida. He said he was recovering from bronchitis. His nose kept running and he didn't even have enough sense to get a tissue. Kept wiping snot with his hand until an audience member gave a napkin. Wow. I am now reading that he is not funny even without bronchitis. Total waste of money. The opening acts were very funny

So we got tickets for Kattan on a whim because we wanted to go out on a Wednesday. It was a special engagment, so the tickets were a little more then usual, but whatever, still very affordable Kattan brought his "friends" who were a lot funnier then he was. The rest of the comics opening for Kattan had actual acts. They did comedy routines. Chris Kattan talked about his time at the SNL 40th party for about 30 mins. He name dropped a ton of celebs. The thing is, he stories weren't funny. At All. Maybe if the stories he told about the celebs he ran across were funny, I wouldn't be writing this. However, he had no material. It was basically an evening with Chris Kattan talking about SNL. Thanks, but no thanks. Please don't charge premium dollars for FunnyBone and not have any material. Talking about your past, when you weren't even a headliner seems very needy. I had to google Mr. Peepers. Anyways, FunnyBone staff was great, and the comedians before him were hilarious. Also, he asked if any girls wanted to hug him at the end of the show. Ummmm, dude, that is weird. Maybe your name should be Mr. Creepers.

The first three acts were funny, especially Basile. The young woman from Yerington was also funny and the emcee made us laugh. This made us think the headliner would be great. We could not have been more wrong. Chris Kattan may have been in some funny shows but he is NOT a stand up comedian. I don't think we laughed a single time during his performance. He just talked about other performers (who are funny) and his interaction with them. I must say, Chris Kattan was a huge disappointment. Fortunately, Basile was very funny and that made it worth the price we paid.

The two opening acts were good. Chris Kattan did not tell jokes. It was more like him name dropping, having a bar conversation with him, telling stories. I like him on SNL but this was not a performance, very disappointed.

Opening act RON was funny. The host of the show was mediocre. Chris Kattan could have been better. Overall, mediocre experience but tickets were cheap enough. Drinks were expensive!

Fantastic show. Wait staff was FANTASTIC and on point. Everyone was great. Chris looked like ****, though. I know he is getting old, but he looks sad and angry. I feel bad for him. Nonetheless, he came out a little shaky, and after about 10 minutes, BOOM, hilarious set. I would absolutely go see him again. Hope Mr. Kattan feels better. :)

I hardly write reviews but I'm making an exception to do this review. I go to a lot of comedies, after looking up Chris and saw the different shows he's been to, my expectations were hight but I was very disappointed! There was not a single moment of laughter between my girlfriend and I we sat there and stared at each other for having wasted our evening to go to this show. Bottom line, he sucked as a standup comedian, he should probably stick to doing scripted shows.

Chris Kattan came out in jeans and a ugly hoodie, not professional at all. He seemed like he didn't have any material prepared. I love him in all his movies and was super disappointed with his stand up. He kept asking if his time was up and was struggling to come up with funny things to say. Love him but definitely not what I was expecting. Only laughed a few times. The two opening comedians had everyone rolling on the floor laughing. Once Chris Kattan came out the laughter died alot.

Chris Kattan showed up and rested on his laurels. He thought he could just show up in stand on stage and everyone would laugh. He had no prepared material and simply reminisced about SNL sketches and his time on the show. Then when he completely ran out of SNL memories, he started interacting with the crowd in conversational mode. He was just simply talking to the crowd. It was not funny, and I could not wait to leave. Very disappointing.

Chris Kattan was absolutely disappointing. He did not have an act prepared! He talked about his days in SNL (which is fine) but it was not the least funny. After that he went on talking to the audience, which can be fun for a few minutes; however that was his whole show. (He was even heckled by some audience members yelling "that's not funny" or "tell us a joke".)

Terrible. Really disappointing. He was not funny at all. However, the comedian who came on before Chris Kattan was hilarious.

The host/hostess was a transexual - she was very funny - enjoyed her a lot. The second guy was also funny and would see both of these people again. Chris was a big disappointment. He seemed depressed or sad, and told a sad story about his dad's passing and losing his inheritance. He flirted too long with a female in the audience, he said some really inappropriate things about a waitress, dropped a lot of famous names, and the worst was when he told of his sexual interaction with a guest on SNL who was in a skit with him that we all remembered. He shouldn't have done that - it was like bragging about his conquest, and this was a young girl who didn't deserve to be treated so disrespectfully. It wasn't funny. He was one of my favorites on SNL, and this show sort of ruined it for me.

Hilarious all around. I don't think I've laughed so hard in a while; beyond happy I went to the show. They had great servers and we were really happy with our view of the stage.

I've been to better comedy shows and have paid less. Kattan was kind of all over the place and his last punchline wasn't funny. Strange thing is he opened the show and said he would be back after his friends went on. But when he came back it was just to say that the show was over. I gave it an extra star because I thought his friends we kind of funny.

Chris Katan "and friends" was a huge disappointment. Wasn't funny at all. I was hoping his friends were more funny but not by much. Great if you want to see an egotistical pot bellied washed up D list celebrity ramble on about his glory days.

We were disappointed.Kaftan was not funny. Hadn't really prepared a thoughtful stand up routine. The first comic was funny and original My husband liked Kattan even less than I did that night. He seemed bitter and angry.

The opening act was so foul I wanted to leave. Chris Kattan was funny and so was Connor and Jeff Richards except for all of the genital references, they got old really quick. I miss genuine comedy without all of the sex and bad language. I also thought it was crappy to charge people for an autographed photo, and tacky the way Jeff Richards was so pushy with his DVD. I guess I expected more from his show. He has always been one of my most favorite comedians.

Kattan was very inorganized, choppy, and scatterbrained. No flow to the show. Rambled on too long about nothing. He can't do standup. Would have done better to actually DO some skits instead of talk about them. Cheap shots at stars from his past. Clearly he's not happy with himself. He did bring along some great supporting acts that really carried the show.
