The guys are in great shape and have lots of energy, just like their music. It's my first time seeing them live and I've been listening them since I was 12. It was a great experience. Awesome show and the sound was just right. All the hits and some from the new album. The crowd loved them!

This was a great show and we enjoyed everything from the setlist to the sound to the vocals. Great crowd at this HOB venue and we will be looking for the 40th tour announcements next year. We also enjoyed The Reflexx after show in the Foundation Room. All in all a night to remember.

I have waited a long time for OMD to come to Florida. It was worth the wait. Andy & Paul and crew did not disappoint. The show was sold out. Their voices are still as good as any of their recordings. They played all the hits and new songs which were pleasantly good too. The energy, dancing, singing, and bass playing of Andy McClusky was superior to any act I have seen in a long time. They played for 1.45 hours. The crowd wanted more. They were engaging every area of the stage. Do not miss them on tour.

Hate that an almost 30 years in the making opportunity to see OMD was here. Oversold, overcrowded, overheated. Unless you were over six feet tall all you were going to see was the back of people's heads. Ended up upstairs behind the stage staring at a black drape so we could at least be comfortable. The band was STELLAR live but I may as well have cued them up on iTunes and enjoyed comfort at home since I didn't actually see them anyway. Obnoxiously, annoyingly, uncomfortably oversold. They ought to change the name to "Greed Live". LOL In summary, if you know you have a good venue in which to see OMD on this tour then GO!!! Just don't do it at Revolution Live!! I checked that I recommended this event based solely on the band because for as long as I could stand to stay (we left early as did other people I know) they were *fantastic*! What a letdown for what was probably a "one night only" opportunity.

OMD-A Recap: Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark, a British band influenced by great German pioneer bands (Neu!, CAN, Kraftwerk), became pioneers themselves. 40+ years in a business where most bands/performers cease to exist within their first decade, OMD has certainly stood the test of time. Punk, rock, grunge, metal; all have altered the musical landscape. Yet, OMD s signature electro pop sound remains relevant and gets better and better with each release, while becoming influential to up-and-coming bands (Wisconsin s GGOOLLDD have plenty to be thankful for). OMD did not disappoint in their south Florida stop, their last in a highly acclaimed and anticipated tour of the U.S. Not because it could have been an arena tour, for clubs and smaller venues are their thing. They feel closer to a crowd of loyal fans and as frontman Andy McClouskey calls them Old Men Dancing. McClouskey and Paul Humphreys dazzled the sold out audience in a non-stop performance of old and new hits. Souvenir, from their Architecture & Morality album, and So In Love from their highly acclaimed Crush album. The crowd not only sang to each tune, they danced as well to Secret, Enola Gay, Tesla Girls, and Maid of Orleans among others. The highlight, however, came when the band thanked a dear old friend who has since passed, John. For putting them on the map after being in the soundtrack of a little known movie called Pretty in Pink. The band was already popular on both sides of the Atlantic. If You Leave, catapulted them to worldwide stardom. The band however, has remained humbled while maintaining an energy rarely seen in bands today. Their connection to their fans, young and old, make them an act you wish will return to our shores. With 40 years of hits, the band emphasized twice, Talking Loud and Clear, they will return. The audience couldn t have asked for a better performance, it was freaking brilliant!!!

My husband & I were happy to see OMD after listening to them for so many years. They sounded fantastic not missing a beat with plenty of energy. The venue is not big which is nice but is standing room only everywhere between waiting outside for entry and being inside, so 4 hours of standing was a bit much. Very glad we went to see them! (PS pay no attn to my nickname created in error years ago which cannot be fixed)

OMD gave an outstanding concert at HOB Anaheim! I gave only 4 stars because of the venue being so cramped and standing room only. Andy and Paul were gracious and made the magic happen performing some of their best music accompanied by energetic moves! They kept the audience captivated with the energy and everyone s participation in singing along to most of the songs. The concert was amazing although standing room was tight it felt like everyone was One with the performers. OMD made me forget about the people spilling beer all around me as they danced and sang! All in all an awesome concert!!

The OMD Concert at the Potawatomi Hotel and Casino was incredible! The venue is intimate, so I, like other concert-goers all had great seats. OMD was at the top of their game. They performed their classics as well as plenty of material from their newest album, The Punishment of Luxury. Andy McCluskey and Paul Humphreys were in top form and truly appeared to enjoy performing for an enthusiastic audience. Andy interacted with the audience verbally and by shaking hands with audience members in the pit. Paul was a bit more laid back, but still gave the audience plenty of attention. This was a fantastic performance and a great opportunity to see one of the most noted electronic bands of the '80s on. I would highly recommend seeing OMD in concert. It's a night of great music not soon forgotten. Kudos, Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, for giving your fans a fantastic and unparalleled concert experience!

Saw the guys 2 years ago and again on Monday. They sound amazing, love the new music and the old stuff never gets old. I know they got bitched out for not doing a song on the last tour, but they left our Dreaming and We Love You on this tour and that's not good either. :-) Looking forward to the next visit, but guys...go to House of Blues. You could easily make the $4000 you lost. One problem with General Admission are the people that get there 3 hours after I did and expect us to let them stand in front of us. If you were really that big a fan, you would have gotten in line at 6:45 too.

I think Andy has one of the most unmistakeable voices out there. Seeing bands live is at times a bit of a disappointment, subtlies get lost, but I was pleasantly surprised to hear how true Andy's voice is to the original records - so much so that I initially thought it was a recording, my wife assured me it wasn't. Really blew me away. Paul sounded great too - the whole band was just spot on. Listening to the recording after the fact, I can hear its all live singing as its imperfect, but extremely good for a live performance. What started out as a curiosity to see a band I've always liked (I have 3 or for OMD cps) made me a real fan. I didn't even realize they had a new album out! Just picked it up, as well as the live recording of this show on USB :) Watching Andy on stage with his raging dance moves was unforgettable, really. He brought a lot of energy that night, the audience ate it up. Please come back to LA again OMD, thank you!

For almost 2 hours I was transported back to 1986. It was an amazing show, the energy that lead singer Andy McCluskey brings on stage is contagious especially for a guy that is now 52 years old. From the opening song of their new album History of Modern "New Babies and New Toys" to the closing song of "electricity" it was non-stop fun. Great, intimate outdoor venue. Bought the dinner package to get better seats and the dinner at the venue was not bad at all.

The OMD concert was fantastic and how wonderful that it was at Humphries. The group consists of the original four founding members: Andy McCluskey, Paul Humphries, Martin Cooper and Malcolm Holmes. These lads have not slowed down a bit! The sound and lighting were incredible. The vocals were better than ever...I have seen this band perform many times over the past twenty eight years. I was on my feet dancing the whole night as was the rest of the audience. Andy is a great front-man who leaves the audience wanting more. His vocals sounded better than when he was in his twenties. They are all so very talented musically and their lyrics are very smart. Fantastic night! I can't wait for them to come back to San Diego!

I was a bit apprehensive about this concert. I'm a casual fan of OMD, and I imagined 90 minutes of synth-pop could get tedious, especially if the band members, now in their fifties, had lost a step. I was VERY pleasantly surprised. Andy McCluskey hasn't aged a day. And ten minutes into the show, it became apparent why. He danced- closer to flew- around that stage for over an hour and a half. He is in better shape than most men half his age. And his enthusiasm was contagious. The audience couldn't help but feed off his energy and it set the tone for a great concert. His and Paul's voices sounded GREAT, despite the miles. All four of them were just on top of their game. Further, I really enjoyed the venue. I'm used to staff at shows like this acting like complete a-holes, like every patron is a potential terrorist... Not so at Club Nokia. The staff was friendly, helpful, courteous, and professional. The venue itself was clean, and I didn't see a bad seat in the VIP balcony where we were seated. The chairs were the most comfortable I've encountered in a concert setting. All in all, one of the best shows I've seen in a long time, despite the fact that I'm not that HUGE of an OMD fan.

I was so happy that OMD is touring again. The last time I saw them was in 1986 at the DNA Lounge in San Francisco. They performed all their hits! Seen OMD in the 90's,this time was by far the best. Original band members and the classic sound was amazing. The return of Paul Humphreys makes a huge difference, for the songs he sings , to his keyboard sound, OMD still can bring it. The sold out crowd was entertained by classic favorites and good new material. Everyone was having a good time. Andy McCluskey had boundless kenetic energy. Loved when they played, "Enola Gay","Electricity".Sadly they are mostly known for "If You Leave", a song I love ,but really they warrent a deeper investigation, what a great back catalog. Just like the Simple Minds a great band ,more than a one hit wonder. What a wonderful 80's sugar high. Ant

Absolutely fantastic show. A must see band live. I was really quite astonished at how great they were as a live act. The music is faithfully reproduced live. I questioned how good they would be able to do it, but I was completely satisfied. Tesla girls rocked! The band seemed genuinely astonished at how well received they were. Nice to see that they were possibly a bit unsure of what to expect so many years later.

after 14 years in hiatus, omd is back and sound amazing. this is the first time i have seen them live and it won't be the last. the show was full of energy and they are one of those rare bands that actually sound better live than on their CD. i wish they played "secret" but we know it's impossible to play all the hits. no doubt they have aged, but andy was rocking the house with his infamous wild dancing: flaring of the arms and thumping of the chest. he slowed down in the middle of the set to catch his breath with more mellow tunes and then surprised us with their famous "if you leave" . i think everyone expected that to be their encore but they didn't do the expected. it was touching to see that they were so grateful and humble. they had originally booked a smaller venue in new york, but had to move to a bigger venue due to popular demand. i think it surprised them to still have so many fans that find them relevant.

Wow! After reading other fans' reviews, we can all agree that OMD's presence on stage is full of energy and I absolutely enjoyed every single song. I think venue is absolutely important because I hate to be packed into a venue like sardines and not be able to see the band. I feel blessed and thankful that OMD chose The Civic Theater in New Orleans. The sound quality was perfect and the stage was big enough for Andy to bounce around. Plus, the venue was spacious and I had an excellent view on an elevated platform. Everybody was dancing and there were plenty of room to move around because this venue has three levels. I could sense Andy's disappointment when he told a few fans that the show in New Orleans didn't sell out. I believe if some of OMD's fans who were disappointed about hot and crowded theaters in other cities, they would enjoy this venue immensely. I hope OMD will return to New Orleans next year. I will definitely go to another OMD concert.

Beginning to End, the show was absolutely incredible! The energy was electric and there was not a single person that wasn't dancing in that venue. As OMD played hit after hit, Andy McClusky exuded an energy that even some performers half his age would have a hard time keeping up with. The showmanship and passion in his performance was infectious. I cannot wait to see them again! Worth more than the price of your concert ticket. Unforgettable night.

I went to see an old favorite band back in March 2011 in Houston. It was the first time OMD had been back to Texas in nearly 20 years, so it seemed like now or never. What I did not expect was to see one of the best concerts I have ever attended. I was so impressed that when I heard they were playing in Dallas, I made the trip on a work night to see them again. And they did not disappoint. The band was flawless. The sound was perfect. I cannot recall a band that could so easily duplicate the studio sound live. They played every song that made the charts and a few extras. Everyone was having fun. Smiles could be seen in the crowd and in the band. It was just a wonderful evening. I will never miss an OMD concert in the greater Texas area.

I saw them well over 20 years ago and it was way better this time!!! They were always one of my favourites but this show definitely tops most I've seen. The sound was excellent and I can't believe that Andy was dancing all over the stage practically non-stop. So enthusiastic and made you just get up and dance!!! The stage was minimal so the focus was all on them. I would see this concert again!

The venue was perfect. We got general standing tickets and was able to get up close and personal. The sound was great. The performance was fantastic. A few of my friends got the opportunity to shake his hand. We were literally 5 feet from the stage. Highly recommend it. They played basically played all the tracks from their BEST OF album. I'd go back.

Seriously, it's been perhaps 20 years since I saw them, and it was if it were yesterday. Wonderful, nonstop energy and precise musicianship. The only drawback is my 42 year old body that is sore as hell 2 days later! I certainly hope they come around again. Almost booked a flight to Dallas this morning

Absolutely loved this concert! It was like listening to their CD. The acoustics were excellent. They played all their greatest hits plus a few I have never heard. Those were so good I'm going to look into more of their recent CD's. The lead singer was very personable and funny. A great entertainer! Everyone seemed to be having a fantastic time singing and dancing along. I know I did!!!

OMD was phenomenal. Full of energy, got everyone up and out of our seats to dance the night away. Played all the best songs from 2010 cd as well as the "old school" hits. The venue at Humphreys is always great and intimate (although the seating is tight).

This show was amazing. They sounded the way they did back in '85. Brought me back..........way back. Went to the Flock of Seagulls @the House of Blues a few months ago as well as the 80's show @the Hollywood Bowl. This, by far, was the BEST.

I've been a fan of OMD since my teenage years during the 80s. I know all their singles, not just the radio hits. I've always viewed them as a 'soft' synthpop band with a good dance beat. Seeing them live completely changed my opinion of them as a 'soft' band. They played the songs just as I remembered them, but with pounding bass lines and kick drums, and dramatically loud synth chords. Being able to feel the music makes all the difference in the world. If you're a fan, see them live.

Great mix of the old favorites and some new, interesting stuff! Andy McClusky kept the audience going with his silly dancing and references to his age. His humility actually helped move the show forward and made it very enjoyable.

They told us they over sold seating and didn't expect so many wheel chairs. but seemed like people we're not suposed to even be there. and we we were not to have any good seats only a small section for cappers and there friends. but tv screens were placed well.

OMD's performance was thrilling, exciting, energetic and nostalgic. loved the old hits practically performed flawlessly and some of the new songs. Andy's enthusiasm was infectious and stirred the audience to dance most of the performance. Sadly, Malcolm suffered due to heat exhaustion/heart attack and the show was abruptly stopped 1.25 hrs. into the show. I hope he is recovering and doing well.
