Took my daughters to see Mama Mia and it was an awesome performance. Our whole experience was great. All the staff was extremely helpful and pleasant, and the inside of the building is gorgeous. Hope to be back soon!

My mother came over from New Zealand to join me at this event. She has seen the show in New Zealand and Australia aswell and was most impressed with the American cast. I was going for the first time and have loved the soundtrack since growing up with ABBA song. The cast was great especially the Mother's friends. They were so full of expression and were able to take it that little bit further than the others. Good Work!!

We watched the play knowing that it will have ABBA songs. We were not disappointed! Even though not all our favorite songs were there (the most notable one being 'Fernando'), it was still amazing. The 'play' itself was great, but the most amazing part was at the end, when as if the cast were ABBA themselves! We felt like we're watching an ABBA tour, and were on our feet, dancing around...

This has got to be the best show I've see at the Blaisdell! The energy and charisma of the cast was incredible! The music just took me back and the costumes were great!
We have seen Mama Mia 4 times now... in 4 different cities, this one in Honolulu was the best yet. We just love the show and these actors and actresses were amazing. Highly recommend this show to everyone ... you will have a great time, there is no way to not be delighted with this show.
Looked forward to this for a long time so perhaps my expectations had gotten beyond the ability of the play to meet, but I found the musical enjoyable, but not the "wow" experience I had hoped for. Could be that our seats were too far away (second row balcony) or the spectacular setting of the movie version had jaded me to the sparse setting of the theater - but for whatever reason I was not blown away. THat said, the music was catchy and the performers excellent.
This was without a doubt, one of the best experiences in my life. The music was, as expected, stupendously magical. The story line was uplifting, and joyous. The actors were unbelieveably talented. And the atmosphere was one of joy, happiness, and pure entertainment. I would recommend this to anyone without reservation. It makes you happy to be alive. WHAT A GREAT, GREAT, SUPER PERFORMANCE BY ALL!!!.
Everything was Outstanding, I saw them in the Honolulu Convention Center (marginal venue) and they still rocked it. All Star cast. Will pay the money again to go see if they come back to town.
Attended with our best friends. This was a fabulous and memorable experience! I would highly recommend this event to anyone who has the opportunity to attend!
its feels like your in a rollercoaster ride with many exciting songs and scenes in the play and surprises you at almost every scenes. Worrh watching and never a dull moment.
Mama Mia was an exciting production with a great cast and music. All cast members sang beautifully and did not miss a beat. Story line easy to follow. All around, very enjoyable.
Second time we saw this play - even better the second time. Saw it first at Playhouse Square in Cleveland, seeing it this past Saturday at the Tennessee Theatre was a great chance to enjoy it again - picking up a few more funny lines, etc.
The performers were great. It had such a good storyline. There were so many events and situations that anyone could relate. The music was terrific and performed with such a powerful presence. I loved the finale as everyone took the stage dancing and singing. I could watch Mamma Mia over and over.
Knoxville Theater is so beautiful and Mamma Mia! was terrific. It was a packed show and the energy was great. I loved the encore, everybody was dancing.

I love Mama Mia - this was the fourth time I've seen it. Because it was the farewell tour, I took 2 of my friends who had not seen it before. I was very disappointed for them because the quality of the sound in the theatre was very bad. I have been to many shows at the Tennessee Theatre, and sound has never been a problem. I noticed that you did not have the giant speakers hanging on each side of the stage. The orchestra was muted - sounded like you could just hear what was coming up out of the pit. The singing was not good either - it was very difficult to understand the words, as the enunciation was unclear and not loud enough. My favorite part of the play is Super Trooper - a booming song! This was completely flat that night. Slipping Through My Fingers is a beautifully touching song - it was almost impossible to understand the words. A sad farewell show.

It was outstanding. There were comedic moments great musical voices. The end of the show had a great surprise! I won't give it away! You may have a little less leg room if you are tall in the seats we had. A woman had her 5-year old daughter and thought she needed a booster seat to see over the short partition. She could see fine, no worries.

Mamma Mia, the final traveling show, was adequate. The sound was unable to fill such a large venue. The sound mixing made the performers sound poor, muted or spot on. The acting, well, for most of the actors is was the old SNL "I'm acting" skit with Jon Lovitz. It was a notch above high school drama acting. The venue was HUGE. If you happen to sit more than 20 rows back bring binoculars or you'll be watching little dots on the massive stage.

I would go again to this production. Never been to a Broadway production but this one was spectacular. The cast, the stage, the stage crew, the dancers, the costumes, the story, the musicians and it followed the movie more then I thought it would. Donna was stupendous...Rosie and Tanya were hilarious....Bill, Harry and Sam were stars. Sophie's character was sensational and a spectacular voice. I sang along to each Abba song and these people could sing. I was dancing in my row at the end when they played Abba's hits and just went back to Abba when I was younger. I just couldn't get it out my head for days after that evening. Amazing show, crowd, and production of Mamma Mai! When this production comes your way get your tickets you WILL NOT be disappointed.

The show was mediocre at best. As a huge fan of the Mamma Mia! franchise, I was underwhelmed with the acting as well as the set design. It was definitely not worth the ticket price. I felt like I was seeing a high school play with high school educated actors. Took my daughter and her friends to see it and they were also disappointed with everything. Overall, I would never recommend seeing Mamma Mia! with this particular company ever again. Please do not allow Packard to sell these seats. The view cut off the left side of the stage. We moved. the speaker was in the way. People got up & stood in another area.

I've seen both the earlier stage productions of Mamma Mia, and also the movie (many times). It's obvious that these later stage versions have borrowed what makes sense to borrow from the movie version; and it's all good! The music, the acting, and the costumes all combine to create a happy mood within everyone. ABBAs music is timeless, even though there were many forces at work to downplay their presence in the USA. Worldwide, they are the creme de la creme of 1970s pop. This superb show brings them back for 2 hours. Faith Seetoo's job of running the entire show was amazing. What a gifted person she is!

It was great! I think there was an audio problem as the singers seemed to be overshadowed by the background music! I saw the first show here at Eckerd and I believe they were better singers. However, the whole show was a pleasant experience and 10 times better than the movie. If you love ABBA you will love every minute of the ply!

I took my daughter to her 1st Broadway show, Mama Mia! She LOVED it! This was our 1st time seeing one in Cincinnati, Ohio. It exceeded my expectations & then some! Great singing, acting, humor, and dancing! I loved everything about it. The only thing I wish I could change - if we would've had closer seats. The balcony - back row was not ideal for our 1st show together. MAMA MIA!! It will be rough watching the movie, after seeing it on Broadway - done the right way!! We even got up & danced at the end....along with other women around us. So much fun!! Enjoyed taking my daughter & spending quality time together.

I continue to enjoy the music all the time while driving around and enjoy the many memories of how funny the play was. Thank you so much for such a wonderful surprise and such enjoyable fun memories. Mama Mia features the music of the Swedish group ABBA. This is the third time I have seen the show since 1999 when it was first performed in London's West side. Songs are the same and storyline is the same but each performance has it's own spin. This was by far the best performance I have seen. This was the farewell performance tour of the musical. I have heard that a sequel (MAMA MIA, the PARTY) is in the works featuring other ABBA songs.
Mama Mia was GREAT !!! I've been to see it on Broadway, the movie and a local production. This was just as good or better than they were. Hope foxwoods continues to bring these production to us.
First let me say that I love this show so much that I saw it three times on Broadway (once in the FRONT row!), once at the Bushnell in Hartford, CT and now at The Fox Theater, Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut. What a contagious show, the music, the humor, the acting is just phenomenal! I love it and do NOT know why it is ending. It made me almost cry as the actors came out on stage for their final bows...to know that this was it. I wish it stayed on Broadway!!!!!!!!!!
Loved this show!!!! I have seen this show in Las Vegas and I couldn't believe that it could get any better but this show at Fox Theater proved me wrong! The people that sang were fantastic and the show was supurb! And it lasted much longer than the one in Las Vegas also! Many more songs in it and we just couldn't believe how much better it was! We walked away with definitely getting our moneys worth and much more!
If you like to dance in the aisle, this is for you!! My 59 year old father loved it as well as the 20-something girls in front of us...who also couldn't speak English very well but knew the songs! I haven't enjoyed a love story for a number of years, this is the exception.
This is one of my favorite musicals and this cast did not disappoint! Amazing voices and spot-on acting! So fun!

Mamma Mia was an absolutely fabulous show!! Everything about it, the music, the actors, the technical expertise and visuals, was just amazing! I was thrilled by every minute of this show and hated to see it be over when it was over. I especially enjoyed the young lady who played the main character-the girl getting married- and the young lady who played her mom. From the very first note of the awesome orchestra to their very last note, this was as wonderful an evening as I have been treated to in a long time! Three cheers to everyone involved whose work and talents made this such an amazing evening! Also, the Tennessse Theatre is such a beautiful venue, it is special getting to see a show in that venue.

I was so looking forward to this play! I bought great seats in November, eagerly anticipating seeing the play in April. I had previously seen the movie and had family members rave about seeing the NYC production. In fact, the gentleman I saw the play with had also seen the NYC production. While the story itself was good, and the acting in general was fair, the cast really "camped it up", adding sexual innuendos and giving the overall impression of vaudeville/burlesque, rather than a Broadway quality production. The finale was sensation and we really enjoyed that, in fact, the second half was SO much better than the first half. Sorry to say that I wouldn't recommend this production to a friend. Last year, we saw "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" and it was wonderful! Sorry, but Mama Mia! didn't rate but two stars.

I loved the play, and I will get tickets for it as soon as it returns to my area. The actors/singers, with one exception, are outstanding! I give a highlighted call-out to those in the roles of Donna, Rosie, and Tanya. These three women are stupendous in timing and talent in all realms of the field! They fill the air with energetic exuberance, and a thrill for their talent. When they were on stage, you just cannot wait to see/hear what they are going to do, say, or sing. The leading men were also exceptional as were the entire supporting cadre. There is a reason I did not give it 5 stars. That reason is the actress playing the role of Sophie. She simply cannot sing! She has no vibrato, and frequently hit sour notes, either notably flat or sharp. This cannot be attributed to nervousness (as this is her debut), but to a serious lack of talent. Her acting was also just adequate. I do hope she is replaced with a woman having better talent.
