Sheryl Crow

Ever since her first album, "Tuesday Night Music Club," was released in 1993, Sheryl Crow’s classic roots rock has been an international success. This superstar has performed with musical greats, like Michael Jackson, Sting, Rod Stewart, Stevie Wonder and Don Henley, in the past, and she has won nine Grammys, including Best New Artist, Best Female Rock Vocal and Record of the Year. “All I Wanna Do,” “Leaving Las Vegas,” “My Favorite Mistake” and “Picture,” her collaboration with Kid Rock, are some of her best known tunes. If you can score a ticket to a Sheryl Crow concert, you’ll be rewarded with both her newer tunes and old classics.

This was a chance for Sheryl to try some different music for her . The new stuff was well received by the audience. The 1st half os the show was just her & a songwriter friend singing & playing guitars. After the break her touring band came on stage & performed mostly the songs she's known for .

The opening of the refurbished Fox Theatre in Riverside rocked with Sheryl Crow and her devoted fans, who braved a rain-soaked, bitter cold night to be a part of history in the making. The concert was a success, although it started 45 minutes late, reportedly due to the fact that Crow was held up in LA taping a performance for the Haiti Relief TV Special, shown the same night. I was excited to see downtown Riversiders finally getting a top act in their own city and everyone, including me, had a great time listening to all her hits. The show would have been enhanced by a more dynamic technological staging, as there were no real visuals during the concert to speak of other than a static colored design as a backdrop. Also, I would have like a couple of more songs during the encore.

In the beautifully refurbished Fox Theater in Riverside, Chery Crow provided a memorable grand opening show. Her program included an entertaining blend of new songs and numbers that made her famous. By the end of the show, virtually the entire audience was on its feet rocking with the songs and cheering wildly. I have enjoyed her music for a long time, but attended this show mainly to enjoy the newly re-opened theater. By the end, I was thrilled by her show and very grateful that I bought tickets to the event.

It was a great nite for two reasons!! Sheryl is a fox...but the re-invented FOX theater was a star too! To have Sheryl Crow perform in this small venue, in downtown Riverside was a dream come true. For years we have drove into LA or OC to see these type of venues. To see a true rocker in our home town...was great.

Sheryl Crow is really "better in person". She not only has a tremendous voice but the range is more than the average singer. She also mixes in humor, which was a bonus. When it is up close and personal like it was at this venue there is no escape. You have to be good. BTW, the venue was the renovated Fox Theatre aka Fox Performing Arts Center, which seats 1600 and was a full house. I can see why as this was my first Sheryl Crow concert, but not my last. My seat was in the Orchestra section, which was great. I generally like to beat the crowd out at the end, but I found myself staying past the ovation song and dreading that the concert was over! I will see her again, hopefully at this or another small venue, which is the way to go in any concert.

The Sheryl Crow concert was fantastic from start to finish! We enjoyed a terrific dinner in the restaurant and went out to find that our seats were really great too--in looking around there didn't seem to be a bad seat in the house and ours was better than most! Sheryl and her band were so fun--they sang most of the hits I was hoping for and threw in some newer ones that I loved too. The setting was great and the interaction with the audience was good too. The sound engineer had some issues to work out--but the concert was absolutely great--I didn't want it to end!

Sheryl was great last night. It took her a few songs to warm up her voice, but she sounded great and had really funny banter with tthe audience. Her encore was a real rocker- Led Zepplin. She can get down. Only complaint was that it was a very short concert. It lasted about 75 minutes, which was how long it took us to drive to the venue. It would have been fantastic if she'd have sung atleast 4 more songs. I will definitely see another soncert at Wente. Table service was really lacking but the buffet was delicious!

At first I thought she had brought a "band full of lightweights". There was just nothing remarkable about them for the first 4-5 songs. Then they started having fun with each other, interacting etc and by the end of the night, they were top notch. I thought the band with her two years ago was better but this actually made for a more intimate, easy going performance. It was tight but didn't feel scripted. And in the end the quality of the song writing got to shine through which I found refreshing. Sheryl's catalog is amazing and I ended glad that it wasn't a big production but rather more like playing a favorite club with people she liked. I will see her every time she is in town. And Wente as a venue can't be beat. Period!

I am a big fan of Sheryl Crow's music. I have all of her albums, but had never seen her live in concert. There have been many opportunities for me to see her since I live in Houston and she regularly plays the rodeo. But, for different reasons I didn't make it out. This year however, she was coming to town on my birthday and I could not miss her. Despite being hit with a major allergy cold just days before, I attended the show and it was definately worth it. She performed a nice compilation of new songs and old favorites (The new CD is great, BUY IT!!!). The band was great. I appreciated the set and lighting design. And, of course Sheryl did not disappoint. She has a great spirit and I loved her energy. I was also appreciative of the 2 hour set! I frequently go to concerts, and usually the longest a headliner will do is an hour and a half. Not to mention she only took a five minute break before the encore. She said thank you and exited the stage. The band continued playing. They finished the song and exited. The audience cheered. And a couple minutes later they were back. S. Crow ROCKS!!!

Sheryl gives it her "ALL" with her show. This was my first time seeing her, and my first time at Redrocks. She had the crowd up and dancing for practically every song. She mixed new with the old, and her band was just excellent. I'd go see them again "in a New York Minute" (as the saying goes), The sound at Redrocks was just awesome...you could actually hear all the instruments and vocals without garbled sound...will definitely attend more concerts at that venue, even though coming down from Loveland on a work-night....that speaks volumes about how much my wife and I enjoyed the show!

Colbie Caillat sported her new looks and new songs with her typical 4-star concert. And she got the crowd rockin'. Sheryl came on and got everybody up and involved immediately. But almost everybody sat down before the first song finally ended. She got the crowd going on a few of her big hits. Sheryl had trouble remembering her lyrics several times, which most of the time you couldn't hear anyway. Her best performances came when she was at the piano and you could hear her vocals.

The concert was excellent. Colbie gave an emotionally filled set with a crystal clear voice and a flawless execution. Cheryl sang and danced her heart out. She was very interactive to the audience, she sang a nice mix of new songs and old classics, and even had the audience dancing to a Jackson 5 hit (Give me one more Chance). A concert that was great in spite of 9o degree heat and humidity. Cheryl continually complimetned the audience and said how she enjoyed the State Fair with her son. Cheryl's band was fantastic!

She was in Memphis Friday night, then on to Sedalia MO on Saturday and Des Moines IA on Sunday. Then she has a break -- one day -- before performing Tuesday in Tulsa. Sheryl Crow has a new band, a new album and is taking her show on the road. The venue in Memphis was the Mud Island Amphitheater. Crow is promoting her new album: 100 Miles From Memphis, her seventh studio album. She grew up in nearby Kennett MO. "It's actually 106 miles from Memphis, but I cheated," she said. As with most of her albums, she wrote or co-wrote most of the songs. The new material was exciting to listen to, but don't worry, she also sang her hits. In fact, Crow played for two hours, and didn't disappoint. The show was tightly choreographed, had amazing music, included a nice light show and was high-energy. I was surprised how hard she rocked. Besides the great music, she did a terrific job connecting with the audience. Along with an amazing voice, Crow showed her musical talent by playing the keyboards, the guitar, the harmonica and the piano. Is there anything she can't do? What more can I write about Sheryl Crow? She's a nine-time Grammy Award winner, she was engaged to Lance Armstrong, then broke up, and she's a breast cancer survivor. I guess I can also say if you have a chance to see her, go for it.

In my 54 years, I've seen many, many shows. I've seen Bruce Springsteen, Eric Clapton, the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, the Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, on and on. But Sheryl Crow in Memphis put on a concert unsurpassed by anyone. She played two straight hours and didn't slow down a second. She moved across the stage from instrument to instrument, climbed the risers where she looked like an angel from heaven, interacted with her band members (a group of most talented musicians), showed love to the audience, and made the enthusiastic crowd a part of the show. She smiled and showed how she genuinely loves what she does. At 48, she is an unbelievably gorgeous woman. Her voice showed no sign of weakening. Her energy never waned. She reminded me of the depth of her musical catalog; so many of her songs have become part of the culture that it's easy to take her for granted. She gave a performance I will always remember. I will see her again.

Sheryl looked good & the band was great. She played her favorite hits & also debuted one from her upcoming album in July. She's awesome on the guitar! The show lasted almost 2 hours & we had great seats, only being 4 rows back in front of the stage. Toward the end of the show, you could tell the band was ready to rock. I think they would have been happy just playing, with no vocals. Great music!

Sheryl Crow is never a disappointment. The show was great. Everything from the quality of the sound to her playing all the songs we were waiting for was nearly perfect. I was a bit nervous when I heard she was playing at the Hammerstein, but for some reason, the staff was much nicer this time, facilitating the event and providing for a night of entertainment, not the usual attitude chaos that Hammerstein management has to offer. She played at the time she was supposed, never leaving us waiting. The simplicity of the show is a mark of how good she is. No light tricks, to gimmicks. Just raw music; a rare event these days when pop stars are no longer required to have any musical talent. I recommend it to anyone who loves music--real music.

Opening a new venue is tough on an artist, especially with new sound systems, lighting and such. Sheryl Crow became the first artist to play newly refurbished Fox Performing Arts Center in Downtown Riverside, CA. I did go to the second night show so hopefully I missed all the bugs. Sheryl was in great form. From the first notes of "A Change Will Do You Good", her and the band sounded perfect. The theater holds about 1,600 concert goers and as she played through almost all of her hits, the shy audience began to loosen up. Rocking through "My Favorite Mistake", "If It Makes You Happy" and "Leaving Las Vegas", it was also great to hear the acoustics of the room with softer hits like "Picture", "The First Cut is The Deepest" and one of my favorites "Can't Cry Anymore". I think Sheryl is the perfect artist for this size of venue and Riverside now has a great small-to-mid size venue. Sheryl can make a crowd of this size feel like we're partying in the backyard. And it great to see people standing and dancing and she closed her set with "Soak Up The Sun" and "Everyday is a Winding Road." And I'm always glad to see most of the audience hang out for the encores "All I Want To Do" and a funky rendition of Stevie Wonder's "Higher Ground". Thanks for the introduction Sheryl, Riverside will not soon forget your night.

First of all, I applaud the city of Riverside for taking the old Fox Theater and restoring back to its grander. It is beautiful! What better way to celebrate its "Grand Opening" than to have Sheryl Crow as its first act. What a wonderful venue! Not a bad seat in the house! Sheryl was energetic, and her music was inspiring! She had folks of all ages up out of their chairs dancing and singing along. She sang most of her hits, and her band was dynamic! I certainly hope Sheryl Crow comes back to visit Riverside again because I will be first in line to buy her tickets. She put on a fantastic show!

Sheryl Crow was EXCELLENT! Played a lot of her hits plus a new song that she is working on for her new album. She is very talented and has a great voice. The City/Fox affiliated company did an good job refurbishing the the building, installing a great sound system that works well with the autistics of the building and the lighting provides an excellent ambiance to the event. If you get a chance to take in a concert or a Broadway show, go for it. We looked around the building before the show and found that there is not a bad seat in the house. I am soooo happy that Riverside finally has a venue that we can attend to enjoy concerts and the performing arts!

Sheryl Crow was a 10 on 10. She and her band played both legacy and new music. I usually do not care to hear the new songs from older artists, however her new music is awesome. I have seen Sheryl Crow many times so I understand why someone would pay $100 to sit on the sand and watch her perform - she USUALLY puts on a hell of a good show. I've seen her perform with her band, and even watched Kid Rock headline just to watch her come out and do a few songs with him. The minute she came out and started singing, first song, I wished somehow she had sent a stand-in. Her voice was weak, performance lack-luster, and you really felt she was going through the motions of the "rock star moves" - high leg kicks, hair swings - without any heart or feeling - you could tell she just wanted to leave - and she left skid marks exiting as quickly as possible. Thank God she brought Phil Vasser with her. He was OUTSTANDING. I didn't really know who he was but I do now. He was an amazing performer - all the energy and talent Sheryl's audience deserved for driving so far, and paying so much to see her. I will never buy another Sheryl Crow ticket - but I will be checking out Phil Vasser's concert schedule - and I will be looking for his next CD, too. He made the American Music Festival in Virginia Beach the best hour I had at this venue!! Bring him back, Virginia Beach!!

Flawless show. Every note, and every word was played and sung perfectly. It was even better than her recordings. Very rare to be this good live. I was blown away. I do have ONE criticism: I don't remember which song it was, but she was playing piano and singing and for some strange reason, the mix (blend) between her voice and the piano was completely OFF. You could hear the vocal super loud and the piano was totally and completely too quiet!!! The only time you could hear the piano was during the super quiet singing parts. Other than that: the FOH (front of house) sound engineer totally dropped the ball on this very easy mixing task. He must have gone to the bathroom or something during this one. Because the mix the rest of the whole night was absolutely fantastic.

Amazing concert & truly gorgeous theater!!! The only thing I didn't like was not being able to take pictures on my cell, but that must be artist decision so I respect wishes. I would have really loved a picture for my kids scrapbooks though. It was expensive and I wouldn't take them to just any concert, but that was a great and safe environment and great music. Not many true live SINGERS and live performers these days, so Sheryl was a nice surprise for us. Amazing Singer and Concert and my two kids loved it too!!! Thankful Sheryl sang "Real Gone" early in the show before they got too sleepy. We love "Cars" -ha!! That was actually a big draw for us to go to the concert. Truly talented - great singer, guitar, harmonica - this was the first time I'd ever seen Sheryl perform live and I was so impressed by her talent and positive personality. Impressed that they still made it saying their bus broke down the night before, and their guitar player had bought a shirt in Knoxville which was a nice touch. Her Great Songs are timeless, and Knoxville radio still plays a lot of Sheryl Crow so my small kids know several of her songs well, even though they were recorded years ago.

Overall it was a great show and worth the money for sure. I would have liked better seats but the sound and view was still good. She played old as well as new songs. One song she played with Johnny Cash in the background as a tribute to him. He had recorded Sheryl's song before he passed. The show was very entertaining and Sheryl shook hands and waved at some of the people in the audience. At one point she sat down and sang. Great show and I'll see her again. She ended the show with a killer performance of Rock and Roll.

Gary Allen put on a great show and was an excellent opening act for Sheryl Crow. He has several songs that did well on the radio and plenty of other music to fill his time on stage. I ended up ditching my well placed seat so I could spend the show dancing up in section C which is at the very top of the SB Bowl. Every seat is just fine. Sheryl Crow has an incredible array of songs and she flipped from dance tunes to ballads all during her performance. If I did not have plans the next night I would have gone to see them both again at The Greek. However, I had tickets for Rascal Flatts and The Band Perry in Irvine.

Sheryl Crow was late to start because her equipment bus broke down. It started about 1/2 hour late. When she started singing, it was all worth the wait.

Sheryl Crow belted out hit after hit at Caesars. The concert was full. She sang some of her music from her previous albums as well as her very recognizable hits on the radio. She played the guitar, harmonica and the accordion with ease. She is a true musician. People were dancing throughout the concert and by the end, everyone was on their feet dancing and singing to "Soak up the Sun". She was chewing a piece of gum and asked for a new one, then said she was going to sell the old one on e-bay. She always has a sense of humor on stage adding to the fun of the show. When she strapped on the accordion she said the guys like when she plays it. Toward the end she threw out some picks to the audience and people dove to catch them. One thing about Sheryl is that she always brings something new to her show. It was great to hear some of her great older songs. She puts a new spin on them. Some of them are on her greatest hits album. She also said she has a new album coming out in the spring. I'm sure it will be great. I have every album of hers. Each one unique and different in their own way. It seems she can sing almost everything. A true talented well rounded musician. Maybe that's why she sings with so many great artists. I'll see her again! Loved the show.

Had some great seats right near the stage and Sheryl was great! Her bandmates were well-seasoned and all outstanding. Sheryl meandered though a mixture of most of her well-known standards with a mix of a few lesser known songs and one song from an album she said she is working on currently. She is still one of the best female rockers out there. Definitely worth t oinvestment to g osee her.

I've never been a big Sheryl Crow fan but this was an excellent concert. There are no frills, no lasers, over the top light shows, monitors on stage, not even a backdrop. The show is all about the music. The band is tight, like they've been playing together for years. And Sheryl was very personable, and her voice is simply amazing. Definitely recommend checking this show out!

Sheryl Crow is one of the best rockers around. She puts on a great show. The excitement you feel just being there and listening to her beautiful voice is unbelievable. I've seen several shows and will continue to do so. She always has the best musicians and she always brings something new and refreshing to each show. She stated she has a brain tumor but for the past 5 years, I have seen her only once or twice forget a word or two. It does't take away from her performance or quality of her work. She can play so many instruments and is always re-inventing herself. She is one of the best performers I have seen and the crowd goes wild. She throws in some one liner comments are so funny. She is a breath of fresh air. So talented! Love her! Can you tell?

This was the best day I have had in almost 2 years. I was diagnosed with a rare medical condition that restricts my activity level. Between the disease and the medications, I am rarely able to attend big events for long periods of time. When I heard about this event, I knew I HAD to attend. Sheryl Crowe is the most uplifting entertainer! She is the one I turn to when I need a boost of HAPPY. I checked the ticket prices - what an incredible deal, $20 to see Sheryl Crowe & Ziggy Marley AND sample the scrumptious offerings from the best restaurants in St. Pete WOW! - and could not pass it up. This was a sign that I was destined to go. My family was enthused when I announced that I had purchased tickets for all of us. They were incredibly helpful the day before the event (I had to rest all day so I could have the energy to go) and the day we attended the Taste of Pinellas. They loaded up all my medical paraphernalia and pushed me around the entire park in my wheelchair so I could find the perfect spot for us to camp out and enjoy. And enjoy we did! I ate more food that day than I usually eat in a week!! I was fortunate to be able to take my grandson to his first concert - it may be the only one I will live long enough to experience with him. He is only 2 and may not remember it, but I will - he was quite the party animal : ) The time with my fabulous family, excellent tunes, delicious food, setting on the water, cool breeze, amazing moon, and the firework finale - who could ask for a better day???? That day has become my safe place. When I am in pain or undergoing a procedure, I go to the Taste of Pinellas 2012.

I saw Sheryl at the Orpheum in Sioux City, Iowa, June 29th. I had tickets in the 4th row. She was amazing, as usual. Songs flowed quickly from one to the other. Her band has now expanded to 10 people on stage. She commented on how much she loved the orpheum and its audience because she didn't see anyone on their blackberries, just sitting back and enjoying the concert. The best part was that everyone sat and listened (so that everyone could actually see) and then stood and danced the last few songs. Sheryl sounded amazing. No opening act was also a bonus. Sheryl, you rock!

Well I love Sheryl Crow to the max. I have every album I can get my hands on. I had been to another Sheryl Crow concert at Radio City a few years ago and I have to say that one was also a blast. I am a die hard fan which means I don't like change lol. I am in love with Sheryl's older stuff like Ordinary Morning, Riverwide, Letter to God etc. So I am still getting used to the new album and there are always songs you really wanted to hear live which you will just not get that chance because well it isn't up to you. Don't get my wrong I was in no way disappointed except for the finale where she did All I Wanna Do. You can hate me but I did not like that song from the minute I heard it. I understand that it was more of a promotional tour and that Sheryl is at a different place in her life and I always enjoy being along for the ride.

This show was fantastic ~ from start to finish, the energy was tremendous and Sheryl's voice was amazing. I loved how she funked up her old songs and made them more soulful, to go with her new songs from "100 Miles From Memphis." The venue was wonderful. I loved her set risers, and Sheryl and her backup singers were all over the place dancing and jammin' out. The songs off her new album were fantastic. Loved the Michael Jackson songs and the Citizen Cope (he's from DC) cover. I could have done without 'if if makes you happy' and wanted to hear 'love is a good thing' ~ but her electric guitar on "I Can't Cry Any More" was cool as hell ~ and the encore songs were killer!! Definitely a kickass show!

Sheryl's voice was incredible! It was just such an awesome show and she had some great new songs as well. I mean we showed up of course for "Soak Up The Sun" but were impressed with her new tunes like "I'd Rather Be Alone In The Dark." We also got a big kick out of her opening act. I don't recall their name but their songs were really fun; quite clearly the opening act band members wrote their own lyrics ("The Bitch Can't Sing" which featured the line "Her mama has drama" LOL) and music.

It was my first time at Humphrey's. So glad I went! Not just because Sheryl Crow is my favorite female artist and put on a kick-ass show, but also because Humphreys is a great venue and easy to find. Bathrooms close by as well as food and a bar. A beautiful setting by the bay. As I said, her 2-hour set was awesome. I felt bad for the opening act. People talk too much during opening acts. It was Willy Nelson's son people! He put on a great short set. Fortunately those yackety women behind me shut-up when Sheryl took the stage, otherwise, I would have told them to shut-up! People should remember that all headliners were once opening acts. Give the opening act a chance. That is all.

Watching and listening to Sheryl Crow and her rockin, kick-ass, world class band play a slew of genuinely great songs (some of the new ones are fantastic) on a cool summer night is the definition of fun. Thank you, Sheryl, for allowing us to be a part of your ripening as an artist and human being and for surrounding yourself with musicians who are connected to one another and also love what they do. Our hearts are still smiling from your show and the new CD is a treasure.

We have seen her before and to be honest, her show was a little uneven. She came out with about 4 old songs and really got the crowd going, then she followed with about 4 new ones, which is where she lost the crowd. It might have been better if she intermingled old & new better. I realize she has a new album out but we come t hear her old stuff.
