Big Shot

This band was more than just a cover band! They were more like actually hearing Billy Joel and his band and I have been to at least 3 Billy Joel concerts! Mike DelGuidice sounds just like Billy and has tremendous vocal range and power! The sax player, guitarist and drummer are amazingly good! Also, the Bethel Woods Event Gallery has great acoustics and there is not a bad seat in the house! Great venue!!!

I ve been a fan of Mike Delguidice and Big Shot for years. I went twice a month to Mulcahys in Wantagh and got to hug Mike and tell him how much I enjoyed the show. It was no surprise to me that Billy Joel himself eventually heard of him and hired him. It s wonderful that I know someone who actually lives a fairytale come true. I moved to Florida, but I still buy a ticket to see them when they come down. Nobody is better!

Simply put, I loved this show. Sometimes we think of tribute bands as simply cover bands that are playing some artist's songs but this show was truly a tribute to Billy Joel and his music. Not only did Mike's singing sound so much like Billy Joel but his piano playing was note for note spot on like Joel's. Billy Joel is a fantastic artist and at the top of the heap with a handful of other artists in my lifetime as true legends and these gentlemen, some of whom have played with Joel, paid the ultimate tribute to Joel with their beautiful voices and music. I truly felt the music in my heart and was choked up several times by the emotion of the music. Wow!! I can't wait to see them again. Well done, gentlemen!!!!

Great venue, a lot of fun, this guy sings and performs better than the 2 times I've actually seen Billy Joel live. Thought it might be all old people, but there were lots of other people in 20s and 30s too. Had a blast with my friends.

Second time we saw Big Shot at the Turning Stone in Verona, NY and they did an outstanding job. This concert is a must for any Billy Joel fan.

Evening was exceptional!! The entertainers, the venue - my husband and I had a wonderful evening and all for a great cause.

Very good venue and good food but a bit disappointed that Uptown Girl & love you just the way you are were not performed.

I HAVE SEEN " BIG SHOT" BEFORE AND EVERY PERFORMANCE WAS EVEN BETTER THAN THE PREVIOUS ONE.

Penn's Peak is awesome, not a bad seat in the house. Billy Joel tribute band out of this world, nothing could be better than Billy Joel himself and Mike is pretty close. The band was amazing and the guitar and sax made you think Billy was on stage. You need to find where this band is and go see them.

Although the lead singer was an hour late, I totally enjoyed the.experience! It was my first time at Penn's Peak and I was glad it was not sold out. It gave me a chance to really check out the venue. The acoustics were fantastic! As were the band members. One for the memory book

I have seen this band several times and this was by far their worst show. They hardly played any Billy Joel! My friends and i were really disappointed.

Really enjoyed ALL the talent on stage and how well they played and interacted together. Awesome show! Would attend again.

My wife and I have been to a couple of Billy Joel's concerts over the years, we have to tenage children and they also enjoy his music. We took them to see Big Shot to enjoy some of Billy's music, also to show them what real performers do ....like play an instrument and no just stand there and rap (sorry age showing). When the band took the stage (we had stage side seats) the lead guiarist and the sax player looked very familiar. Tommy Byrnes, Mark Rivera were with the band that night. Yep Billy Joels band members for about 30 years. We had no idea they would be there. Michael Del Guidice vocals are unreal, range, strenght, power, and can sing Billy Joel! My kids were blown away, I would go see them weekly!

An absolutely amazing show. For Billy Joel fans everywhere, and even those of you who are not fans, this band are fantastic. Featuring the original Sax player and guitarist from Billy's touring days, Big Shot wowed the audience from the first note. Great musicians who were obviously enjoying themselves on stage, which translated to the audience and guaranteed a thumping good evening. If you get the chance to go and see Big Shot, don't hesitate!

This was the third time I've seen Big Shot and they never disappoint!

It's the next best thing to seeing Billy Joel himself. The band played for not quite 2 hours. Penn's Peak is a great and intimate setting to see a show. Ticket prices are reasonable, so you can't go wrong.

these guys are amazing. Michael sounds just like Billy Joel and they are very entertaining as well. The sax player is a riot. Don't miss this show. It's well worth the money. It's our 3rd time we've seen these guys and they are the best tribute band around.

We enjoyed the band they played and sounded like Billy Joel. Everyone in th audience was a Billy fan so we were all singing along throughout the show. BBKings was a good venue for the band. Enough people and of a size that helped the atmosphere.

These guys are as good as it gets! Awesome voice on lead singer Mike and what a piano player! An extra added treat was Richie "Rico" Cannata on Sax...Can't get any better than that! Love these guys! They are never a dissappointment!~ Always high energy and fun!~

If you're a fan of Billy Joel's music, check out Big Shot. Big Shot is made up of Mike DelGiudice, the lead singer and piano player, who is now in Billy Joel's band, AND a few others of Billy's band as well. The setlist was dynamite. Sax, guitar, and piano solos were incredible. And Mike's voice is second to none.

He played some songs not by billy Joel which were great. He s amazing.

This group is always amazing I have seen them numerous times. However in this venue the sound system needed to be better for vocals

We loved the group. They were great musicians, and extremely crowd friendly. I loved that they presented an original song as well as the music of Billy Joel! One of the best things was how they interacted with each other on stage. Their enjoyment radiated right to the crowd!!

My second time seeing Mike Delguidice and Big Shot and once again I was entranced. His talent is enormous and his heart even bigger. A great experience.

Third time seeing Big Shot at the Paramount, and we were not disappointed! They played for three hours, and were fabulous! Mike sounds just like Billy Joel!!

Great show. These are talented musicians! Mike Delguidice can do it all....And does! High energy, great show. They played for over 2 1/2 hours without a break. Amazing music, songs choices just made for singing along...and the crowd does! If you know theses guys, go see them. If you don't know them, find them and go see them. Amazing! This was one of the best concerts I've seen in a long time. They played for 3 hours. The Paramount is a great venue.

I really enjoyed when the band played Led Zepplin's Whole lotta love. They were very good in all songs they played . I would definitely go and see them play again. I wish they would have played Big Shot, Innocent Man, Matter of Trust, & Leningrad. I understand they can't play all the songs that Billy Joel has. Great show, see you next time!

Mike Delguidice is an incredible performer. His band of accomplished musicians, two of which are members of Billy Joel's band, displayed an authentic representation on all of the Joel tracks included in the show. Delguidice exhibited an incredible vocal range along with his exceptional piano playing. The show had a good mix of vintage and latter Joel tunes all of which were done to perfection. The non-Joel music along with an original composition and the recorded Italian opera piece which opened the show exemplified Mike's versatility and professionalism. I hope to have the opportunity to see this act again.

I have seen Billy Joel a number of times over the years at different venues, always a great show. So, i am familiar with Mike's voice and talent. This was my first time seeing Big Shot and first event @ Penn's Peak. Big Shot was excellent. An energetic show from start to finish. Played ALMOST every song i wanted to hear. (The catalog is too big to play everything- lets be honest). I cant wait until they come back to a venue nearby. We will definitely be there. Penn's Peak is a great venue- friendly staff, clean facility, no hassles and reasonable drink prices. Highly Recommend this venue.

My husband and I along with my parents went to see this band for the first time. The singer sang and sound exactly like Billy Joel. The band played excellent! Would recommend anyone to see this band we plan on seeing them again up in New York.

They are a Must See! I wish they came more than once a year.

This band is truly a class act! Third time for us to see them at the showroom, and it's the absolute best combo. The entire band is super talented, but Mike is over the top with his vocals, keys and a little harmonica thrown in there. Special treat to hear him perform Aerosmith AND Led Zepplin - freakin' unbelievable. Can't get enough of these guys - we will see them every time they come upstate ❤️❤️❤️.

This was a great concert. Loved it as much as I loved Billy Joel when I saw him at the Garden. Highly recommend seeing this group and I know I will be going again.

This is a high energy, feel good show. The music is excellent and Mike can really make you feel like Billy JoeL is in the house!

I've seen Big Shot several times and they are always fantastic. This time was no exception, I wish the show lasted another 2 hours. Mike threw in one non Billy Joel song, this guy/group sounds good no matter what they song they are performing.

The show was absolutely amazing!! Mike Delguidice has a wonderful voice and range. If you close your eyes, you think you are at a Billy Joel concert. The songs just kept on coming one after one, each better than the one before. The band was also amazing. They preformed together like a fine tuned instrument and were so personable. I would definitely see them again.

Mike G was terrific,(better voice than Billy J) and the band, especially sax was great. Our seats weren't good but acoustics were excellent. Only minus was that they didn't play Only the Good Die Young!

Mike DelGuidice is amazing. We've seen him several times with Big Shot and also performing with Billy Joel. Fantastic performer and so true to Billy's music. And this time, when he went through the crowd he let me sing with him to the crowd. What a rush!

If you like Billy Joel you will love these guys, they are all fantastic! If you get a chance go see them you will deffinately not be dissapointed. Love the way they talk with the audience even the lead singer came out and sang with them during a song....They played continuously for the whole 2 1/2 hour show. Then after it came out for a meet and greet and also bought both of Mike's CD's which are great! Like I said you get a chance go see them! This venue had open seating so I got to sit right in front of the lead singer, but their isn't a bad seat in the house!

This band was totally fun and exciting. They put on a killer show and took requests from the audience. A great group of very talented musicians and showmen.

The Venue is always very impressive, not easily accessible for people with needs, and not for the cheap but a great place to see a show, good energy and great sound. The band was, as they always are, as much fun as they are talented. Great, solid play, great vocals and even for a guy who likes, not loves Billy Joel music it's a show I would see again and again (actually I have). Mike is very talented but even more engaging as a performer, extremely likeable and shows that he is having fun too. Thank you for a great night!

I can t even count how many times I have seen big shot...I started when they played at Tobay beach and have been going to see them ever since, me and my husband are def groupies

Michael and Big Shot played their hearts out as usual. But why the 9PM start for a show scheduled at 8PM? And the sound system was disappointing. Distortion, poor mix, and too much lower bass. And parking in Huntington village is awful. Not sure I will go back to the Paramount.

Mike and the band were awesome. First time going to their concert and we were blown away by their versatility. Can t wait to see them again.

I've seen Mike many times before. This was the most underwhelming performance I've seen to date which was unfortunate because I brought my family promising an amazing experience. Big Shot only did one non Billy Joel song where in the past he played many. Big Shot left the stage without doing an encore and when my niece approached to request a song, Mike said sorry, I'm off the clock.

Imagine going to a Billy Joel concert and Billy doesn't show up, but his sub has a better voice than he does? That's Mike Delguiduce and Big Shot. Not surprising since 3 of the band members actually play in Billy Joels band (including Mike) and the other musicians surely could. They are true to Billy's music as can be possible. And they do some great covers as well. Great show, highly recommend them!

Not only is he extremely talented and the show extremely entertaining, he has some of the best musicians Ive ever heard playing along with him. In the near future, when This Band is playing huge venues, we will be able to say... We saw them at The Parker Playhouse!!!

We had great seats. We were in row H on the right side.Mike sounded just like Billy Joel & the rest of the band were terrific. Was a tad bit loud on the drum side for these 78+ teenagers but we stuck it out & was happy we did. Maybe next time we will try seats that aren t as close.

I went to the Billy Joel concert and heard Mike s amazing talents. He blew me away last Friday with his voice and versatility. What an awesome show. Even my teenager and 21 year old son couldn t believe the musical talents. Thank you for a lovely evening out. Can t wait to see you again.

As always, Big Shot was amazing, awesome talent and was so glad to help Mike celebrate his birthday at Penn's Peak. It's a band you can never get enough of, just keep going back for more and never disappointed. Huge shout out to a must see group!!!!!

This was our first time attending a concert by Mike and Big Shot! They were just incredible! Mike's voice is amazing, whether he is singing Billy Joel songs or anything else he chooses, iincluding one his original compositions! The entire band works seamlessly together as a team. With Mike at the helm, it was obvious that his musical talents...singing, piano, guitar, harmonica ... extend to not only performing, but to making a genuine connection with the entire audience at this sold-out event. The energy and passion of every song was more that fantastic, and the acoustic set brought Mike front and forward playing guitar for an even greater reach-out to everyone.To watch the close-ups on the screens of the genius of his piano-playing, and the lead guitarist, only added to the joy of being there! Mike at the piano, fine drums, keyboard, and two guitarists were complemented by a Grammy- winning saxophonist about whom Mike shared history. After an almost 3 hour performance, Mike sang his way through the loges and and main floor, singing, shaking hands and gladly posing for selfies for those that asked. He is a total gentleman! I must add that the opening band chosen by Mike, led by J.D. Leonard was truly so talented, and J.D. and his band were also far from may typical opening acts that just fill time. They are a band to follow! To conclude... I can only add...we can't wait to see Mike and Big Shot again!
