The Crash Kings put on one hell of an opener, and JET was just ridiculous. Interaction was amazing and JET can really put on show!

I consider myself lucky to have seen Jet in such an up-close venue like the Starland ballroom. I am predicting they will soon only appear only in large arenas. Jet seemed as into it as much as the audience was. Great show!

This was my first time seeing JET and I was, as had been hoped, blown away. The band's energy and stage presence is fantastic, and their talent surpasses even that. Their rawness is so contagious that one simply can't resist letting go of their inhibitions. I realize this is a pretty glowing review, and I have been racking my brain to come up with some negative memories from the concert, but I honestly can't think of anything that I wish could have gone differently, except that they would have played longer. There are a lot of bands out there who are really quite good, and they know what they should be doing, but just can't get it right. However as far as pure rock n roll goes, JET just gets it. Thanks for a great show, guys!

Jet really gets the crowd into it. The best place to see them is a club. Plus they play all their hits and new songs. Even if you don't know the new songs not worry they are great.

I have seen Jet many times, in different sized venues, and the Key Club is the perfect place for them to play. They perform the best when they have audience participation, and last night's crowd was more than ready to sing along. The band did seem a little tired, tho, and Nic's voice sounded a bit weak (from upstairs) or he may have just needed more volume on his microphone. I will be attending the H.O.B. Anaheim show tonight (another great room for them), so we'll see if they got a good night's sleep. Also, it was a quite disappointing to have not had the new album available, before seeing this tour. Good strategy for making more money for the band, when they do a their follow up tour ............ not so much, for those of us on a budget, because of the bad economy.

I wish I'd know about the tables policy in advance, we would have had dinner at the Key Club. We got the table any way, had a great view of the show, and fantastic service. The Key Club is a much smaller venue than many of the better know clubs, and has a very intimate feel. Seeing a band as big as Jet there was a real treat!

I've seen Jet a few times now and this seemed like a stripped down show almost like a warm up for something bigger. They played a blend of old songs and a few new ones off their forth coming album Shaka Rock. It was amazing to see them so close. The Keyclub only holds about 600 people so you can imagine how close we were and the sound was spot on. No problems at all that I could hear. I'm super psyched that I saw them at such a small venue. It was just pure rock & roll at it's best.

1st time seeing Jet and enjoyed the show. Never thought I could hear AC/DC and Beatles/Oasis influences in almost every song. Key Club seems above average compared to other mid level clubs in the area. Acoustics OK to good (not too loud or muddled). Took 15 yr old daughter to show, had to pay extra $6 for 2 drink minimum but received 2 water/soda tickets.

Jet at the Double Door in Chicago was a blast. The bar was sold out and the vibe was really cool. The last time I saw Jet at the end of their Shine On tour they looked tired and bored. This time they seemed really up and had a retro early beatles look to them. One nice bonus was that they played "Timothy" which never gets played. They also played 3-4 numbers off their new unreleased album Shakra Rock. It was a blast seeing these guys in a bar in downtown Chicago. We could have seen them the night before at Summerfest, but chose the bar for its atmosphere. It was also really easy to get a cab in Chicago. Really enjoyed the show. Hope they make a decent comeback.

Jet was outstanding Sunday night. It was a lot of fun to see them in such a small place like the Double Door and they didn't disappoint. They played a good mix of songs from their first and second albums while throwing in a bunch of their new songs. Sometimes when a band is playing a bunch of new stuff, it really falls flat but they did a nice job of doing new stuff sandwiched in between their hits. Nic sounded great (i've seen him before when he could barely talk) and overall they were mixed really well so that you coulud hear all of them. They were talking to the crowd quite a bit which was cool. They didn't play a couple of my favorites from Shine On (Shine On, Stand Up), but overall, the set list worked great. Closed with Cold Hard Bitch -- which really rocked.

I saw jet lastime through chicago at the aragon and they stole the show and thought they were good then. This was a smaller venue and jet was even better. They were personable and rocked out. They commented it was the first show of the US tour which was a nice touch. The show was reminiscent of the Ramones/beatles/Stones morph given the energy the band put out and the intensity of the music. A kick butt rock and roll show. I think they are best rock band of the past 20 years. Straight up rock and roll. Come back soon. Thanks for a great show.

The sound was absolutely incredible. Unfortunately the bass player was either drunk or just not very good because he had a bunch of miscues. The rest of the band was really tight sounding.

I'm so glad that I got to see Jet perform without them co-headlining with anyone. They were more free and comfortable to play what they wanted without having to please the Papa Roach crowd like in the former co-headlining show by playing more upbeat songs. Jet absolutely ROCKED last night!!! They started playing at 10:05pm and played for an hour and a half until 11:36pm; they played so many songs. The show had lots of energy and I love how they get the crowd involved. Prior to the show I had the opportunity to meet them again and get autographs and a picture, they are awesome guys. Best show yet and this was my 5th time seeing them. I can't wait to see them again when they come around!

A local radio station, WHDA, hosted this event in honor of the fabulous and talented Terrie Carr's return to the airwaves. The two openings bands were good, an Jet rocked. The ticket price, at a little over $10 was a great bargain to pay or this event. Starland is a good venue- not too crowded and diverse crowd. Suggestion to improve the event would be: 1. Have it on a Fri or Sat nigth versus Sunday night 2. Not charge $6 for parking, or include it in the ticket price 3. The order processing fees and other charges were way too high and doubled the price of the tickets. There is no need for this.

Having gone to their show the night before in New York, I knew to expect excellence. I was there to see Crash Kings, and they delivered. High energy, so high that at several points stage furniture got thrown around (no damage). They played a different set, with a cover of Black Sabbath's War Pigs as a special closer, and the rock was so hard you could feel it in the air. Jet played a great set, too, and though I don't know them well at all, I intend to look them up. The first openers, Only Living Boy, were also a pleasant surprise, a guitar trio with a driving bluesy Hendrix feel.

This band is awesome and the Starland is the best place to see a show. I knew that JET would tear that place up and they did not disappoint me. I missed them the last time they played there but made sure I didn't make that mistake again. They played almost everything I wanted to hear. My son was there with a couple of friends and they enjoyed the show as much as we did. The Crash Kings were great and so was Only Living Boy. We hung out for a while after the show to see if we could meet the guys from down under. It took a while but they came out and signed all of our CD's and took pictures as did Crash Kings. Thanks for a great night guys, can't wait to do it again.

I've been wanting to see Jet in concert for a couple of years and were thrilled that they were coming to the area. I was not disappointed. Also loved some of the new songs from the upcoming album. These guys hit the stage and rocked it out. The band is tight, has great dynamics and of course great music, with the favorites being from their first album which is amazing. You can see these guys own this and they involve and know their audience. To top it off, tix were cheap and for the money, you really cannot usually see this level of entertainment. The venue in Sayreville (Starland Ballroom) has good sound, areas to hide with couches and you can get close to the band if you want. It is well run, has great security and is a terrific place to see bands

Jet worked very hard at this show and I felt bad for them as the audience reacted as though they were watching television. The new songs work better live than in the studio -at least for me - and the stuff from the first two CD's sounds fresh and has great energy....This was my 3rd or 4th Jet show and I will continue to support this group of dedicated and talented musicians.

awesome show great venue The meet and greet was well worth it We we definitively do it again Papa Roach always puts on an over-the top show with the most contagious energy. All the members were down to earth and spent time with each individual fan. This is a rarity in this business. They are always giving the fans just what the doctor ordered, and we are addicted to that prescription,.

Man, Papa Roach really knows how to put on a show. We arrived early enough to stand in the pit. and there was still tons of room after they closed it off! there was no need to push our way to the front at this small venue because no matter where we stood, we could see! (and this is coming from a girl his only 5'1"). Jet and After Midnight Project were also really good. Billy boy On Poison should have gone on first (they went on AFTER After Midnight Project), because you could tell they had little to no experience and they were not as good. Either way, the entire show was a blast to be at! well worth the 40 dollars.

Papa Roach was amazing. Going into the concert I didn't know too many of there songs. By the time I left I pretty much became a die hard fan. Any band that can make me like them based on one live performance is awesome in my book. They are well worth seeing anytime you can. JET was great too and the main reason why I went to the show. But as much I love JET and their performance was great and sounded great, Papa Roach stole the show.

I hadn't heard Jet before this show, and they were definitely worth seeing, but the reason I went was for the Crash Kings, who played the set before. They're a fantastic piano trio based in LA. Driving bass, catchy piano hooks, killing solos on the clavinet (a keyboard with guitar strings and a whammy bar) slammin' beats from the drums, and all with memorable and instantly appealing melodies in the pianist's clear and powerful voice, with his brother the bassist singing backup in the dynamic and forceful harmonies. I just can't get over their sound or their energy. I'm seeing them again tonight in New Jersey.

The weather held off and wasn't too cold. I thought it was a bit risky to book such an event outdoors this late in the season but it worked out great. The crowd was into it and set changes were pretty quick. Jet was awesome but seemed like Cam might have been a little ill or not feeling real good. Regardless, they performed like pros. Displaying a rock and roll flavor that encompasses a loose musical style that is actually very tight. Enjoyed the whole thing very much.

These guys brought it....seriously. Great show. Bringin back the rock. In addition, I was surprised, in a good way, that the vast majority of the new songs on Shaka Rock sound better live than on the album - much more raw and in your face. Not that I don't appreciate the album version, but the live version just seems to have much depth and force.

This show completely revamped my interest in this band. The Cester brothers have amazing rock & roll voices. The keyboards add a really great element to this awesome band. The crowd was a mixed age group which may explain why things felt a little subdued, but everyone was jumping up and down and singing along for the big hit songs. I hope they stay together long enough to put out a few more great albums. Two or three more killer songs would have put this concert at a bigger venue.

From the opening act to Jet's last song during their encore this show surpassed my expectations as the best concert I have seen at Starland . Only Living Boy, The Crash Kings and Jet all brough their own unique energy to the stage, which was less than 15 feet in front of me, that quickly spread to the audience. It would have been a challenge to stand still, the energy level in the room was so high. Only Living Boy kicked off the night with a set that sounded like Kurt Cobain singing with Jimi Hendrix on guitar. The Crash Kings guitarless style took the musicianship up even a notch higher and even the hardcore Sabbath fans got into their set when they covered Warpigs. The time between bands was the shortest of any show I've seen at Starland and Jet came on early enough that everyone was awake enough to really get into what they were playing. They did a good job of covering material from all three of their CDs and I will definitely be heading back to Starland if any of these bands return.

This whole show was amazing from beginning to end. Both supporting acts rocked and Jet was even better live than on their records. I'm a huge fan, and Starland Ballroom was the perfect venue for the show. Jet isn't a huge band, so I like that the concert had that local feel, but the sound and view was still amazing.
