This was the 6th time I seen HURT. Every time I have seen them it has been one of the best concert experiences of my life. This time was no different. With the new album out and the older classics meshed in.......unbelievable. HURT has staying power and continues to write some of the best music in the world.

The Hurt show in Denver last night was amazing. The band was on all night and Loren ripped his vocals. Definately see Hurt any time they come back and especially when they are at these small venues. I got to talk with the band after the show and they were totally cool!

Anyone who can go see this show should go! I drove from San Antonio to Houston for this, and it was well worth it. Both of these bands are amazing and extremely talented by themselves. They both have great new albums (Tri-Polar from Sick Puppies is a must have) and sing many of their new songs. If anybody who loves Rock music with messages thrown into the lyrics will love these bands. Listen to the songs online and enjoy them, but that does not compare to seeing and experiencing them live. Sometimes you must go to a concert to really let the music just envelope you and this is the case with these bands. Okay, stop reading this and go listen to some music!

If you're looking for an awesome live performance, you can never go wrong with Sick Puppies. Shim, Emma and Mark rock!!! I never miss a show! We have seen them everytime they're close to home, over the last 3 years and they just keep getting better. If you don't own a copy of Dressed Up As Life- get it now! If you've never seen Sick Puppies live- buy your tickets now! The new album is terrific! This is a truly talented group, I hope they are around a long time.

Hurt was an awesome band. I would say that both Hurt and Sick Puppies was worth the whole show. When I originally bought the tickets it looked like Veer Union would have been there, but then Tunnels to Holland was there instead. The very first two bands I did not care for. But when Hurt hit the stage it was worth every dollar I spent.

I enjoyed this show so much, I couldn't stop smiling after the show. And just when I thought my facial muscles couldn't contract to smile any bigger, I was proved wrong when I met the members of both bands... They were really fun! Their music was off the hook, they were entertaining, extremely nice to their fans, and the lead singer of Hurt wanted a 5-minute hug (which I thought he was kidding about), and I felt bad when he said, "Aw, I guess not..." >_< ! Sorry, dude, I thought you were kidding! But the show was awesome, stage presence was sizzling, and that I'm not kidding about! Emma Anzai rocked with the bass for Sick Puppies, I'm totally wearing your shirt (like right now).

This is my second time to see the Sick Puppies. I saw them a few years ago at the Meridian. They were great then and they still are now. I wanted to see Veer Union but they were a no show. Disappointed!!!! But, I wasn't disappointed in the Sick Puppies and Hurt. Very good show and I see a lot of shows. They were just getting started a few years ago in this country. Their shows have become more refined. I never forgot Emma playing her bass. Wow, is she HOT!!!!!!!!!! Paz and Emma playing together on stage. Every boy's dream.

If you have not had a chance to see Sick Puppies you should get tickets the next opportunity you get. They not only sound great but they make the crowd stay involved the entire time they perform. Their energy is addictive and not to mention the Bass player is easy on the eyes. Not only is she sexy but she could also outplay most male bass performers in the business. I have to say I had only heard of Sick Puppies before I went to the concert in Dallas but there was another band that night that will be on the map soon. Tunnels to Holland....remember that name...they are from the east coast and have a Killers meet Roy Orbison sound....chill music that you can just hit play and listen till the end.

They are so awesome live! One of the best bands to see in concert! They really get the crowd into their shows and it's so awesome that they meet the fans afterwards. They're music is so unlike any other band out there, they don't sound like every other rock band out there. Shim has such an amazing voice and he's wicked awesome on the guitar! Emma can really rock out on the bass, she's freaking amazing! And Mark is such an awesome drummer! They're so amazing and I can't wait to see them live again!

I'd have to say that Hurt, being my first time seeing, had an unforgettable stage presence and gave me chills with each song played. Sick Puppies... I am absolutely IN LOVE with Emma Anzai. Not only is she just plain hot, the sounds that come out of those amps when she thumps that bass turn her into a rock goddess... and Shimon and Mark were awesome, too...

Sick Puppies may have been the mainliner for the show, but my friends and I had been anticipating the arrival of Hurt for over a month! Even the opening bands, American Fangs (I think) and Tunnels to Holland were rocking. I look forward to digging into Tunnels' music a little more. Hurt was grand. Probably one of the best live bands I've seen hands down. Their artistic value and pure showmanship is overwhelming. The sound for all four bands was great, not muffled or muddy. I look forward to more shows like this in the future. Listening to Hurt play Danse Russe and Fighting Tao and all the fiddle work was worth the ticket price alone, to me. Sick Puppies was great! I don't really know much about the band, though I do have their debut album. I enjoyed their energy and the singer's ability to interact with the crowd and not look like a stick man on stage. Great band too! I look forward to learning more about them and hearing more of their music.

This concert was awesome but only because HURT made it great. The nightclub was ok... There was no reentry so once you were in you had to stay which sucked. Plus they wouldnt tell you when HURT was coming on, so you stuck around waiting. But once the band came on, J was awesome in his performance. Love the acoustic set he played as well. They rock- bottom line!!!

Hurt was great - would have been better if they would have played a few more of their old songs. The opening band for Hurt, unfortunately, was Livid. Livid acted and sounded like a garage band in their first year. The theater itself left alot to be desired but for 12 bucks a ticket, what can you expect. There was no seating and I'm almost positive that was not explained anywhere when purchasing the tickets. I still would have went though.

These guys are fantastic. They always give it their all and play their hearts out. A very talented bunch of guys. Very nice as well, they stayed for quite a while after the show taking pix and signing autographs. I will see this band again and again and again - they put on one of the best shows I've ever seen...and I go to a ton of shows so that is really saying something! Best of all, their tickets are cheap! $16 bucks for this show I think it was. This band is so underrated it is sick.

Another great show. Hurt does not disappoint. They played a lot of songs from their latest album, Goodbye to the Machine, along with some older favorites. J.Loren definitely gets the crowd involved during the show. Hurt always gives their all during a concert. Afterwards they hang out with the crowd, signing autographs and taking pictures. They are really good guys and they always put on an excellent show.

Villain vs. Villain was the 1st band, and I never heard of them before. I think this is a band that you'll hear from more. They have a good sound, and they put on a pretty good show. Janus: ROCKS! If you've never seen them, go! You will not be disappointed! Hurt: THE BEST SHOW I'VE EVER SEEN!!!! They are so interactive with you, and get right in your face! Lots and lots of energy! After the show, they come out with you and kick back with everyone at the show. They're just happy to have fans that let them play music for a living that they want to be around you. They'll talk and answer question, and sign autographs. It's just a great time

This is the 4th time that I have seen hurt in the last two years, the second time I have seen them at the Annex. With each tour and show that I have seen, Hurt just keeps getting better and better. The opener, Silvergun, was rather ordinary and unpolished. They had a good sound and the lead singer worked the crowd as best he could given the fact that they lacked a radio single and were too new for most of the crowd to have known. Hurt however took the stage with all of the confidence and gusto of seasoned rockers and delivered unto all of those in attendance a show for the ages. From the opening notes of the first song of the set "Got Jealous" to the last moments of "Rapture" Hurt never once faltered or failed to please. They did no less than 7 songs from the new album as well 4 selections from Vol. 1, and 3 from Vol. 2. As always they were very gracious to all of the fans and held a meet and greet after the show by the merch booth.

Hurt is a great band to see anywhere but the acoustic show was so AMAZING!! I live in NYC and I have been able to catch them around once a year in venues around New York. I honestly had such a great time at this concert I truly wish I could see them once a week life would be a lot better! Either way if your thinking about catching HURT sometime don't think anymore just go its a must see! Also this concert was my girlfriends first and she didn't think she would like them but after it was over she was sold! She was so impressed and thought they were extremely musically talented!

So, I was seriously considering seeing thime in West Chester. They were that good. I've been a fan of their music since Vol. I and this was my first time seeing them. Their acoutic show was as hard and raw as you can get without being plugged in. J. Loren's musicianship was really impressive. I always wondered how well a person can sing and play violin at the same time; J. Loren made it look effortless. Hurt got the crowd involved. J. has an entertaining stage personality, but really all of band members looked like they were having fun on stage. Venue was good, too

This was a once in a lifetime type opportunity. I have been listening to Hurt for years now, but never had the chance to see them live. It just so happens that I was going to be passing through St. Louis the same night they were playing an acoustic show! I expected great things from them, but what I got was perfection. J Loren's lyrics and vocal talents are unprecedented in today's rock and roll, and getting to witness the rawness and intimacy that come along with an acoustic show, paired with such intense subject matter and heartfelt emotion, was unforgettable.

Although they played a large amount of new songs they still threw in enough of their greatest hits to keep everyone happy. The showmanship of J. Sick Puppies are my new fave live band. They have an energy and a stage presence that not many bands have. They are some truly talented musicians. I also enjoyed Veer Union. they did a cover of a Tool song that was really good, i also like their look and sound. I was very unimpressed with Hurt. we started calling them "epic pause" because you never knew when their song was finally over. Plus the lead singer was wearing pants that were way too tight and all you saw was his package... gross!!! If it weren't for Sick Puppies i would have rated this one star, but Sick Puppies were incredible. Emma is an amazingly talented musician, plus she's gorgeous!

J. Loren Wince of HURT is a genius. The sound, the lyrics, the music, and genuine appreciation the band has for its fans makes this band a MUST SEE when they come to your town!!! Mesmerizing violin solos, hard-hitting drum beats and killer guitar rifs, not to mention the acoustic set at the end of this show will have you wanting more of this band. I will definitely continue to see these guys in concert every time they come through Denver. Just saw them in June and will be seeing their next show in August. I had a great time at this show. I have been a long time fan of HURT but, I havenever seen them live until now. The show started off with a band called Black Oxygen...I have no idea who they are and to be perfectly honest....they were horrible. It was an embarrasement to see them on the tour and they really should get out while they can. Not one thing about them was memorable except for how cliche and normal they were. I never want to see them again. After them were a band called Hazeland. I was not familiar with who they were but, I can say I am a fan now. Thier sound was very unique and the music was very technical and tight. Many of thier songs were fun and "groovy:.They even did a rework of Snows Informer song which was fun! Next up we had Pulse....once again I was not familiar with them and they weren't bad. The music was very generic and bland but the stage show was interesting. If I had the opportunity to see them again I would probably pass....they were not bad...just not for me since every song seemed like a sophmore effort and very generic. Smile Empty Soul took the stage after that...and they showed why they are still a force to be heard! They were incredible....I didn;tlike the gruffness the singer used which was much different than the recordings...but they were tight and sounded great none the less. Lastly was HURT....words cannot describe just how excellent they were live. Stage presence, sound.....everything. I can't wait until the next time!!!!

I was not at all impressed with the first two bands, but I thoroughly enjoyed Smile Empty Soul and Hurt was very tight and talented but not really my style. I would not waste my money to go see them again if they were still anchored by the first two. However, I would pay more money to see Smile Empty Soul play a solo gig with a longer set. THEY WERE AWESOME! Excellent vocals backed by ambitious and talented musicians.

Show was amazing & venue was great! I have seen Hurt live 4 times now & this show was one of my favorites. Hurt was interactive with audience & really made the show one of a kind. Played a great mixture of new song and old. I wish I could relive the concert. Great sound, great jamming, ah just wonderful. Opening bands were not my favorite but Hurt rocked!

I can't say enough about how incredible HURT is live.... I have had the pleasure of seeing them perform in a large setting (Verizon Wireless), acoustically (Radio Radio), and in the smaller, more intimate setting (the Vogue Theatre, twice). Every show reiterates my love for this band! I am eagerly looking forward to the next time they are in town!

This intimate show at the Local 662 featured an absolutely amazing performance by Hurt, and introduced me to a phenomenal and unique artist, The Wandering Madman. I encourage everyone to check them out.

From the opening song (Wars) which is one of my favorites, Hurt rocked the house at Local 662 in St. Pete! I knew every single song and sang my ass off all night! I couldn't believe they played another of my favorites (Old Mission) I really wasn't expecting it for some reason. I did miss (Dirty) and when they sang (That (Such a Thing)) I was hoping they would go into the hidden track and sing to us that we're all gonna die. I still don't understand why this band isn't bigger than they are. They should be playing to packed stadiums instead of intimate settings like the Local 662. Not that I'm complaining about being able to see your favorite band so close that you could reach out and touch them. Instead of great bands like this on the radio we get to hear the same crap over and over. It's gotten to the point that I don't even listen to the radio any more. Anyway, I hope they don't wait 2 years to come back to St. Pete!!!!

The best concert I've seen. The music is heartfelt and the unplugged set had the raw edge that this expressive band embodies. The small, intimate setting of The Basement, the close proximity to the stage and the sincere appreciation of the fans made it a memorable experience.

Just when you think it cant get any better HURT amazingly out does their self with another mind blowing performance. The Wondering Mad Man Jeffro sets the evening with his unique sounds and show stopping skills. The Basement in Columbus was a great venue for the intimate acoustic show. The crowd was lively and the band highly encourages crowd participation. As a long time HURT fan and having seen several shows, it is safe to say these gentlemen pour their heart and soul into ever performance. This is a show you should not miss.

If I loved Hurt before I saw them live--I'd have to say I'm enamored with them now. They did everything acoustic and still managed to sound awesome as all hell. The skill and passion with which they play is incredible and I enjoyed seeing them live immensely. Was even personally thanked for attending by the lead vocal. Great venue, too. Very intimate.

The show was simply awesome. From start to finish. The venue size was good. The seating was good. They perfomed on time. The sound was awesome! The band was great, their musicianship was amazing, their interaction with the crowd so humble. I loved the "pics & autographs" session after the show. I waited for 3 years to see Hurt live and I loved it. My wife didn't know them at all, after the show, she couldn't stop talking about it! I would've loved to hear "Flowers" but I guess it wasn't the right place to do so...

Great Interaction during performance. Band came out after show and signed autographs and really interacted with fans. Crowd was a bit "hipster" and trendy. In other words they saw the word "acoustic" and showed up.That was fine, but too many people just talked during the performance and irritated the actual band fans, such as myself, that came to see a great band perform. Hurt's music was awesome, like always and adding the additional acoustic change of pace really makes them one of the greatest modern day Indie Rock Bands.
