Ronnie McDowell

Ronnie puts on an excellent show. His audience interraction is superb and the warmth with which he treats, introduces and showcases his band is genuine. Love his wide array of songs and those to whom he pays respect in song and eulogy comments. I hate that his son is leaving to become drummer for Buffett, but he needs to grow and take flight. Then there's the nephew on keyboard whose about to become a mayor. What Ronnie really needs is a madras jacket and white linen pants and ditch the dark suit and tie. :)

I never had the opportunity to see Elvis- he was gone before my time - but I truly feel I came very close this night. Mr. McDowell does a GREAT job reliving Elvis' life. I was very impressed and this concert was much better than I expected. Any true Elvis fan should definitely see this show. You will not be disappointed. Was also unaware of Mr. McDowell's painting abilities. I bought a picture of young Elvis which Mr. McDowell gladly signed. Had a great time and when this show comes again, I will definitely be there. Highly recommended!!!

Good show, felt like you were just sitting around with a bunch of friends talking about old times and singing together.

The crowd was fortunate to have guest celebrities appearing at this concert. Not only were the Jordanaires present but DJ Fontana, Bill Medley and Mark James. I would have loved to hear Ronnie sing more though I would not have missed this rare opportunity. This was an excellent show!!

We had such a great time at the concert! I don't think there was a bad seat in the house. We are looking forward to attending another event soon.

It was a good show and an entertaining one. My friends and I all enjoyed it. My only complaint is that I expected many, many more Elvis songs. That is what I went to hear. I might not have gone if I knew that all the songs were something other than Elvis ones. I doubt I will attend again.

The concert was beyond a 5 star performance. it was AMAZING. I highly recommend ths concert tribute, no Elvis fanwould be disappointed. If you weren't an Elvis fan before the concert, you would be upon leving. No one captures Elvis like Ronnie McDowell. The impromptu guests were amazing. The whole show is a definite "MUST SEE"!

This was my first time to the Horseshoe "Bluesville" and the venue was intimate and the sound was unbelievable. Ronnie's talent is amazing and this show was so special with extra added bonuses. Would happily recommend this show to any Elvis fan. Ronnie sounds so much like Elvis it sends cold shivers up your spine.

I thought the concert was excellent. Ronnie does a great job on focusing the attention where it belongs which is on the folks that made history. Ronnie does an excellent job even though he falls into the gutter now and then with some of his remarks that are unnecessary.

I have seen this show 4 times. At the Horse Shoe casino. Ronny is GREAT. Sincere and entertains as well as his wonderful voice. Great EQ. Time is taking its toll though. As you know, the Jordanaires were weak. Ray's voice was still VERY good. And the guy with gray beard was good. The other two were not heard. Maybe it was the sound man. The mics were not balanced properly so all the parts were not heard. In the past, all 4 parts were in the pocket and it sounded like one voice. Their balance was bad this year. Your Sound man had Ray's voice WAY too loud on the harmonies on the first 3 numbers. Millie did another good job... but this is the first time I heard her a bit off key on a few of the notes... but not many... and we LOVE her... You should do more hits where she sang those background parts...Like: "He stopped Loving her today... and other songs we would know. The stamps were strong and added a lot. I can see them working with Ronny in the years ahead. Ray can sing with them on some of the numbers.!!! The musicians were good no problems there except a few places were rough due to lack of rehearsals...but we know that and will overlook it. My wife and I both had one Big complaint... Your light man shined those damn spotlights into the audience all through the show. We could not see the performers half the time for those twirling white hot beams hitting us in the face... come on!!! I almost left because of it. The stage work he did was fine but those lights hitting the audience should never happen unless Ronny want the house lights up. These are my thoughts. Hope it helps. Also a brief question answer period would be fun to let the original group members answer questions about Elvis for us .

This was a great show. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the performance.

I enjoyed the jordanaires. Listening to all of their experiences with Elvis Presley was so interesting. Being on stage with Elvis must have been a moment to rememeber. The guys definitely still have it regardless of their age. At 86 years i hope I would be able to perform like Mr. Gordon performed on this nite. Also meeting Ms. Millie was an honor. She definitely still has it. And as for Ronnie McDowell he did a great job pulling the whole show together. All in all it was a great night!!!!

High energy show from start to finish. Never a lull or dull minute. Not just music but great storeis, both Jordanaires & Stamps were the along with Miss Millie, two of Ronnie's sons, and a special appearance by Ronnie Dove...I would see this show every month!

Show was very good, Ronnie's no Elvis but he's close. I also really enjoyed the Jordinairs and Miss Millie.

Ronnie McDowell and the Jordanaires were amazing!! They all signed autographs after the show and took pictures with the fans. We really enjoyed the performance!! Hope to see them again!!

We've seen Ronnie before, mnay times, and are big fans. I grew up with Elvis and the Jordanaires being my favorite singers. I thank the Lord that I was blessed to see the Jordanaires and Millie Kirham, who also sang on many of Elvis' records. Millie and these guys are living legends and we were not in anyway disappointed. The show was outstanding.

Ronnie McDowell is truly the personification of Elvis Presely----not an imitator, but a true , gifted entertainer who possesses all of the persona of The King! He is not an imitator, but is an admirer. This show should not be missed! He leaves you with admiration and goose pimples! A must see performer. Long live The King, He lives!!!

I really enjoyed to whole show. Miss Bessie and the Jordanaires were a hoot!! Ronnie did a great job--our seats were not as good as in the past, but the sound was good. I could not believe how well their voices sounded after all these years. Ronnie is a class act.

The performance was filled with great songs. Having the Jordnairs and Miss Milli who sang with Elvis on the songs preformed added to the overall quality of the show. I highly recommend the show and will attend his show again next year if he returns to the gulf coast.

DON'T KNOW WHEN I HAVE ENJOYED A PERFORMANCE ANY MORE THAN THIS ONE. I WOULD TRAVEL TO SEE IT AGAIN. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY THE MOST ENJOYABLE EVENING. I HAD NO IDEA IT WOULD BE SO ENTERTAINNG. I DEFINITELY WANT TO ATTEND HIS PERFORMANCES IN THE FUTURE. THE ENTIRE SHOW HAD EVERYONE'S ATTENTION. WE HAD REMARKABLE SEATING, HOWEVER, I DON'T THINK THERE WAS A BAD SEAT IN THE HOUSE. UPON LEAVING THE SHOW, I OVERHEARD MANY OF THE GUESTS SPEAKING ABOUT THE FANTASTIC SHOW. PLEASE MY HE RETURN AGAIN IN THE NEAR FUTURE TO OUR AREA. AGAIN, THANKS FOR THE OPPORTUNITY TO EXPERIENCE THIS SHOW.

I went expecting a great show and got even more than I expected. It was a great show and I could have listened for 2 more hours of Ronnie McDowell. He is an outstanding entertainer. Then there were so many bonuses. The Jordanaires were equally as intertaining. Then he had a lady name Ms. Millie who also gave a great performance. I plan to go again next year if they come back. I really great night out for my wife and I.

We went expecting a 'good' show, but this was fantastic! We did not know that the Jordanaires were part of the show. The music was great and Ronnie does Elvis without all the impersonation stuff that ruins a show for me. I have already told some friends to go see this show if it comes to their area and I will go again if I have the opportunity. We loved seeing Ms. Millie Kirkland! Sometimes you never get to see the folks who sing in the background that make such impacts on the music. She was a doll! I hope Ronnie keeps on keeping on. He has a wonderful show!

What a wonderful surprise! Ronnie is very respectful as he honors Elvis. His voice is mind blowing. Special gueats, the Jordanaires, and Ms, Millie made me very emotional as I sat in amazement listening to these living legends. Ronnie's son performed two really good songs. That show could of gone on for hours more, it was just that FANTASTIC!!!!

This is the second time that I have attended the "Elvis Story" featuring Ronnie McDowell and the Jordanaires. This is definately an amazing show. Ronnie McDowell is a very talented entertainer. I really enjoy getting to talk to him and get my picture made with him. He is such a nice person who really acts like he had fun with his fans. It is really amazing to be able to go and watch the Jordanaires and Mrs. Mille Kirkham perofrm since they actually performed with Elvis and they share actual stories that happened when they were with Elvis. If you are an Elvis fan then this is a show that must be seen!!!

Was disappointed. Was more talking than singing. The Jordanaires were great along with Mrs. Mille but was disappointed that more Elvis songs were not performed. Also, I didnt' pay to hear Ronnie's son sing. He only sang a few songs but it took away from the show.

This show was totally awesome. I would definitly go again and again and so on. Loved Ms Mollie and The fantastic Jordanaires. Ronnie's band was incredible. I hope he comes back to the IP we'll be back.

One of the best performances ever!!! Ronnie never disappoints but this event held at the Imperial Palace Studio A's venue was uncanny. Ronnie's band took us down memory lane as only he can do with the life of Elvis. Simply unforgetable.

I was very disappointed in the Ronnie McDowell show. The few "Elvis" songs selected and performed were not familiar. I paid $70.00 for tickets!

The show was everything I had hoped for and more. Ronnie was fantastic to say the least. I could use every good adjective there is but you would get bored. The band is awesome, it was great to see The Jordanaires and DJ Fontana. Ray Walker announced that Gordon Stoker was in the hospital and to please say prayers so I hope everyone will I know I am. Ronnie had three special guests in the house and brought them up: Mark James, Bill Medley and I'm sorry I forgot the last ones name. It was a very good show.

Too much talking and not enough singing by Ronnie. Went to the same show two years ago and it was much better then. Ronnie is a good entertainer but felt like he should have entertained the crowd more with Elvis songs.

It was the best show I have seen in years, Great guests and alot of suprises and they held your attention in the whole show. I had seen Elvis in concert and with your eyes closed you would have thought it was Elvis up on stage. It was the best show Ronnie has ever put on. His son was great and the Righteous brother and daughter was out of site. Also the song writers were great that was there

This show was not what I was expecting; however, it was even better than I expected!! I really enjoyed hearing all the stories Ronnie and the Jordanaires told about Elvis, as well as other performers. Millie (the lady who sings the high parts in Blue Christmas and He Stopped Loving Her Today) was so entertaining and a Hoot!! I would attend more Ronnie McDowell Concerts in the future.

Ronnie McDowell was spectacular! The whole show was first class and it was great to hear The Stamps Quartet and The Jordanaires. Ronnie's family is also very talented in his son who played the drums and his other son, Tyler Dean. He was great! It was a very relaxed atmosphere and extremely enjoyable!

This Tribute to the King was by far Ronnie's best ever! I have been going to this event for years and haven't enjoyed one as much as this one. All the extra guests added even more to his wonderful personality and genuine caring for his audience. He shows his love of intertaining, so well. The fact that he included a bit of his own career was tremendous! I always enjoy the autographing at the end of the show. The fact that he encludes the others(The Jordanaires) to his autograph table, addes even more excitement! Bill Medley was a great surprise! It was truly an experience I will remember for a long time. Way to go RONNIE!

We enjoyed this show very much. We love seeing the origanal Elvis stage performers, who by the way, are still sounding awesome!

Started late. Band members not all dressed appropriately. Some in jeans; even jeans with holes. Music louder than vocals most of the time, so couldn't hear the words.. Couple of songs so old that crowd never heard of; so if it was messed up - nobody knows. Did not sing whole version of alot of songs. Would have preferred more Elvis songs with vocals that could be heard. Less than 1.5 hours so not really worth the price. Seemed to be more about the people that worked with Elvis than with Elvis. Plugged the Golden Nugget alot.

The concert was fabulous. Keep them coming to our area.

We attended both of the Ronnie McDowell concerts at the Fitz in Tunica, Ms. on Aug 10th and 11th. The show included many icons, The Jordonaires, The Stamps, Millie Kirkham. And of course Ronnie McDowell and his band. Elvis would have been so proud. They were all GREAT. Every one on stage is super nice and took time to sign autographs for everyone. They were both exceptional shows. Love to all of you.

Loved the show, the songs and was good and very entertaining, but as I said below could not see much for paying $45.00 and we traveled a long way to see show

The Elvis Story took me back in time. Seeing the people who actually sang and played with Elvis along with Ronnie McDowell's great voice is something I want to go back to!

Every year we attend Ronnie McDowell's tribute concert to Elvis in August. The show is one of the best concerts ever! With the addition of The Jordanaires and the Stamps Quartet and of course Mrs. Millie it it truly a musical "history" lesson!! This year D.J. Fontana and Scotty Moore (Elvis' original drummer and guitar players) were introduced. The final song with Beale Street Soul Diva, Ruby Wilson and Ronnie, "How Great Thou Art" brought the entire audience to a standing ovation!! Great Show!!

I see Ronnie in concert every year to 2 years. This time I seen him performed with the Jordanaires. I have wanted to see him and them together for 10 years but something always seem to happen and I didn't get to make it. That almost happened this year, but I made it. I loved, loved, loved it. It was a wonderful show. What a surprise to see DJ Fontana and Scotty Moore.

Can't wait to see Ronnie again, he is entertaining and very funny!

It was a little slow getting started, they had to adjust the sound and then took some time introducing guests. Once the show got started it was the next best thing to seeing Elvis himself.

We went to the Ronnie McDowell concert at the Fitz for both sold out shows. Ronnie always puts on a great show, but this show really exceeded my expectations. It was beyond awesome. All the Elvis icons, The Jordonaires, The Stamps, D.J. Fontana, And of course, the sweetest lady, Millie Kirkham. I love them all. There were tremendous musicians in the band as well. All were great. Scotty Moore and Ruby even made an appearance. Could not have asked for a better performance. The highlight was the last song "How Great Thou Art" And there was some comedy with Edith and Archie Bunker. Thanks to all of you for giving me a memory I will cherish forever.

This was a great show. My wife and I went both Friday and Sat. nights and both shows was outstanding. I will go back to his shows again.

Ronnie did a great job of entertaining, and had a lot of energy. I loved the song selections. I will be looking for more of his shows in my area!

The show was great. Especially glad to see Ms. Mille there. She was awesome as were all the other entertainers.

This is the second time we went to see Ronnie McDowell and really enjoyed it. The first time we went to a concert he put on in Franklin County Fair in Virginia and my husband and him stood on chairs and sang "My Way". It was very memorable for both of us. Thank you Ronnie!

Everything about the Ronnie McDowell show was wonderful! Including the backstage pass to him & have our picture made with him! And Ms. Millie is my hero! Love her & the Jordanaires! The only complaint I have(and it's not much of one), is that we had 3 obstructed view seats because we wanted isle seats. I could not find anything online thru ticketmaster except these, yet there were other empty isle seats. Wish ticketmaster were a little more user friendly.

This is the third year in a row that I have been to see this show!!!! I personally think that it gets better every year. I really enjoy that Ronnie performs songs that you don't hear all the time. It is always a joy to see The Jordanaires and Mrs. Millie!

It was my first show at the IP and I loved it. All of the staff were very helpful!! Ronnie McDowell and the Jordanaiers were out of this world !!!

Loved the concert. Everyone should make it a point to see Ronnie McDowell and The Jordanaires with Mrs. Millie Kirkham perform the Elvis tribute. It is a "history lesson" in music. I loved every minute of it and this is the 4th time I have seen this concert and it just gets better every year. I am amazed that the Jordanaires have such beautiful, strong voices and still performing at this "young" age! Like Ronnie McDowell said, "I hope I am still breathing at their age"!!

The entire production was great. Music was awesome. Seats were a little cramped. Very close together and if you were seated next to a larger person, it was not comfortable. I made room reservations at the Fitz Casino months ahead but three days before the concert they called and said they had overbooked so I didn't have a room. But I would do it again even without a room because the music was great but no good reviews for the Casino for kicking me out of the room.

This was the most enjoyable night and something that I would recomend to everyone. If you get a chance go watch. if you are not a Ronnie McDowell fan you will be once you see him live. And the Jordanaire are great and I hope they stay around for many more years. I will be trying to get all the CD"s that I can from Ronnie McDowell.

Ronnie McDowell far exceeded our expectations. A master showman who had the audience and stage mesmerized by his charismatic personality. His phenomenal voice and talent brought tears to our eyes.

I wasreally happy to be able to attend this great legend show. I just love all of the people and The show was super fantastic.. Really a lot of fun. Ronnie put the audience at east and I feel every one had a agreat time. I love the Jordananaires and their singing, as well as their wit. They are entertaining and have some good stories. And, Miss Millie was, of course, the greatest. She is one of my favorite artists. I think the Stamps did a very stupendous job. I do not get a chance to see them much, but I really enjoyed them. We drove from Kansas City, Ks to see this show and we were not disappointed at all. The only thing that could be improves, was that there was only one show and I would love to see 2 shows. Thank you all for giving us a great night.
