Our group was very disappointed by Jessica Care Moore. This was supposed to be jazz and it was rap poetry We came to the Jazz and Blues Festival to hear jazz music.. Had this show been billed along those lines we would have chosen a different show. Also we were given the run around to pick up our tickets at will call. Had to go a block away and they still did not have the tickets at the place they sent us to. A very nice woman helped to get us into the Blue Room but we were never given any tickets.

Enjoyed Pieces of a Dream, Maysa & Bobby Llyle. Confunkshun turned it out! I loved, loved, loved them to pieces. They are one of my favorite groups from back in the day. I'm so glad I got a chance to see them again. Terrific Evening @ the J&B Festival.

Without a doubt, the best music I've enjoyed all year. Worth every penny and more.

Disorganized. GEM theater was packed, not assign seats. Maybe the weather had something to do. Did not know where the artist were playing. They were playing in different locations.

Perfect weather, great music, wonderful people. It was great to get out of Johnson County and revel in the beautiful diversity this metropolitan area offers. The people show was almost as entertaining as the stage show with dancing adults and children, fantastic fashion, and smiling faces. My only wish for change would be to offer us vegetarians some choices (maybe Seed could help with that). Thank you for the work that goes into this event every year. It was a much needed reminder of the power and strength of community, especially in these crazy times.

Did not go because I was mislead about the event being outside and not inside.

The music was great, the Museum is unique, and Kansas City is really "up-to-date" (for those of you who know the musical Oklahoma). A terrific weekend.

Straight ahead jazz isn't for everyone. Kansas City is not only known for jazz, but for blues as well. We were hoping for some steady beat music interspersed with the straight ahead jazz. It was not to be found. I recommend that blues is incorporated into the music next year. Otherwise, it was a beautiful night, the weather was perfect, and the food was good.
