The concert was really great, she sounded terrific. The only issue I might have, but this has nothing to do with her or her band is the lighting, they didn't seem to have enough light on her. Her face was often in a shadow. But she and her awesome band were fantastic!! Have seen her many times over the years and this was one of her best shows.

Patty Loveless is the 65th member of the Grand Ole Opry and one of the classiest ladies of Country Music. I loved every minute of her show at the Snoqualmie Casino. Her voice was beautiful and her band was awesome. I feel very blessed to have been able to attend.

It was a wonderful concert. Over 2 straight hours of just good old singing. A little talking, no theatrics, and a super backup band with some amazing talent. Patty still has the pipes! We enjoyed it alot.

What a treat to be in the audience at The Birchmere in Alexandria, VA for one of our favorite performers; Patty Loveless. We've been listening to her music for years but only in the past five years have we become frequent listeners of her CDs. Our re-introduction started with her wonderful CD: Dreamin' My Dreams which contains one of our favorites "Keep Your Distance". Although Patty did not perform that song last night, she belted out so many of our favorites during the 2 1/2 hour show that it hardly mattered. Her band is incredibly talented and they provide the perfect accompaniment to her hauntingly-powerful voice. We were amazed at how strong her voice was throughout the evening, particularly since she took no breaks all evening. There must be magic potion in her cup of tea because she was just as strong for her encore "My Old Friend the Blues" as she was with her opener. We particularly loved "You Don't Even Know Who I Am" and the crowd was on its feet and singing along for "Blame It On Your Heart". A word to anyone who loves Patty: If she comes to your town, grab some tickets. You're in for a memorable performance!

We saw Patty at The Birchmere in Alexandria, a small club that holds about 500 people. I won't spoil the show for others, than to say she has a new record out and a brand new show in support of the record. Patty's voice was on display last night and she did a outstanding job. Her music runs from country to blue grass to folk and traditional, and her selections were fantastic. This was clearly her best show since her "Mountain Soul" tour in 2001. Patty Loveless is truly an American musical treasure.

Patty Loveless showed why she is a legend last night (Nov 1, 2009) at the Birchmere in Alexandria,Va. She sang non stop for close to 2 1/2 hours which in itself is unusual these days for stars of her magnitude. Her pure strong voice was as good, if not better, than a decade or two ago. The band was spectacular--first class musicians. They were just as impressive as Patty herself. If you have a chance to see them, I suggest it is worth travelling almost any distance. They were that good.

She sang almost nonstop for more than two hours and did a mix of new songs and old, up-tempo and slow, with lots of her fans' favorites. Her musicians are superb and play wonderfully together. They're all clearly having fun. And as always Patty bonded with her audience. Come back soon, Patty!

This concert was one of the best concert I've seen this year, and I've seen a few. Her voice is amazing and she was good at engaging the audience. She didn't need a lot theatricals to make a great show, just her and her band make a very entertaining show.

We loved her. She is all about the music. I once heard Vince gill talk about patty. He said that she loves country music and all she wants to do for her fans is put on a good show and sing her heart out. She did just that on Thursday night. Her male backup singer is really good. Their harmonies were really beautiful. The band was excellent and they all had fun personalities.

Patty Loveless is effortless!! She has a tone so rich and a voice as pure as a songbird!!! Therefore it comes as no surprise that she is the 65th member of the Grand Ole Opry... When she performs time just falls away.... I was enraptured by her beauty and her grace!!! I absolutely love the way her voice carries me away to other places in time.... I look forward to the time when I can see her again.

The theater is great! Not a bad seat in the house! The sound system and stage set/light show is fantastic. The seven piece band was tight and very talented. They played both electric and acoustic sets and not a bad note was heard. We loved every minute of the show, though it could have been longer. We were home by 9pm. on our big night out.

Patty Loveless treated a packed house to a 90-minute show from the collected works of the last 22 years. Her voice remains spot-on gorgeous, with the beautiful delivery and nuance that still causes the hair on my neck to stand to attention. The heartbreak in her ballads in palpable---you might feel like you want to take her in her arms and tell her it will be alright--- someday, anyway. She was personable and generous with the crowd. She still seems to enjoy her work and comes off as genuine and sincere without pretension or conceit. Her band was solid and accomplished, although her young, beautifully-coiffed young back-up vocalist/fiddler could learn to smile more. The sound could have been better on the instruments where we sat at second row center, as there were no amps onstage, and the PA was set far too high, as is the common misguided practice these days, but the view was superb!

Saw Patty Loveless at the Birchmere (Alexandria, Virginia) on Thursday night. It was my first time to see any artist at the Birchmere, which is a very intimate venue for watching any concert (and a place to eat some pretty good food before the show also). Patty has such a large number of country hit songs to her name that, even though she and her band played 20 songs, they could have played another 15-20 songs and still not covered all her hits. That said, there were also a few (new/old) songs that were new to me, which I enjoyed just as much. It's hard for me to describe (you know it when you hear it), she and her band have a musical style that is a bit more Appalachian in nature (perhaps her album title "Mountain Soul" says it better) that I really appreciate the chance to listen to. She is not a flashy performer, but the depth of feeling in her music is not matched by many, which is befitting a member of the Grand Ole Opry. She has always been one of my favorite female country artists, and I'm very glad to have had the opportunity to see Patty perform in person. I'd give the concert 4.5 stars out of 5, which I'll round up to 5 since she's such a classy and distinguished artist. :-)

This was her first show after a break in touring. Patty and the entire band seemed to be having fun on stage, and it showed. They put their hearts into each song, Patty's voice was great and her bandmates instrumentals were even better. Hope to catch them again soon!

Patty Loveless was awesome, but the seating arrangement & comfort of the seats at Beltara are terrible!!!!! We sat in section 208 row D. The seats aren't staggered or inclined. We could'nt see anything. The people next to us left, they were so aggravated. I was really disappointed! My husband loves Patty, and that was his b-day present, & he could'nt see her. We were straining our necks trying to look over & around people in front of us. But again the show was great she sang her best songs. The sad part about it was I had bragged about how beltara was laid out compared to Horseshoe. Horseshoe casino sucks but Beltara was really nice except for the stage area.

Patty Loveless performance at Belterra was flawless. Ionly wish she would have done a couple more songs during the encore. Only one song and it was very low key B-4 exiting tje stage. also Belterra needs to have a better spokes= person announcing the entertainers, he was as enthusiastic as a wet dish rag.

As always, Patty Loveless does not disappoint. While the venue left something to be desired, Patty sounded wonderful, and put on a great 20-song, 2-hour show. Mix of bluegrass and modern country--nobody does it like she does.

I have seen Patty in concert many times and this was by far the best I have ever seen from her. Patty's voice was clear and on target as usual. She seemed so relaxed with the audience, perhaps because she obviously had many of her Kentucky friends in attendance. She stayed on stage for nearly two hours, singing most of her hits along with some classic country and bluegrass. She is still my favorite singer.

This was an incredible show by a true song bird. We loved all of her new material as well as the old songs. Patty was very engaging from the time she came out until she took her bows with her band. I cannot wait to see more of her and to hear her new material. We are buying her new records.

The Birchmere is a fabulous venue to see a show. All the seats are close to the stage. If you're not very good at performing or the studio techs play games to make you sound better than you are, you'll know it right away in this place. There is no hiding from the truth. Patty Loveless did not disappoint. Her voice was as strong and pure as any studio recording. Her set list included a little bit of everything from all the different phases of her career...pop, contemporary country, traditional country, bluegrass, etc. She is an absolute master of her craft and a genuine pleasure to listen to no matter what she is singing.

What can I say................................................................A dear friend is madly in love with Patty in a number one fan aspect I mean), turned me on to this show. I knew of Patty years and years ago, but with the years she along with her voice have matured and awesome is the only word I can say to describe my night. I thoroughly enjoyed her performance. The venue however was a bit strange, not very upscale, food was quite nice though. Overall a 5 star night. Thanks I would love however to be able to obtain an autographed photo of Patty for my friend who sees Patty every time she's in town and saw her the night before in Annapolis.
