Good show. Lots of old and some newer songs. It was a fun time. Seats were okay. I wish the Rocksino would have had the floor on a bit of a slant. I had heads in the way. Personally I liked the Temptations better. I was really impressed with the singer. He hit some high notes! I loved it. Thanks for a great time!

A must see. The Temptations is a show that you will never forget.

My husband and I saw the Temptation's for my birthday we had some really great seats . This was the best concert I've ever been too they put on an amazing show this definitely was a night to remember !!!!!

The Temptations were great.. the moves were good, the music was GREAT! I very much enjoyed it. only disapointment was that there was no encore! The 4 Tops were good also, but did a medley of their most popular songs so that was a little disapointing.

Great show, songs brought back memories, so glad The Temptations are still around entertaining! Old school music is the best!

This was the 4th time I have seen The fantastic Temptations. Their music, their choreography, their humor, their stage presence cannot be matched by any other group. Their songs have lasted through the test of time delighting several generations. It was a phenomenal one hour and thirty minute non-stop show full of energy with fans standing, singing, and dancing from beginning to end. We drove two and a half hours on icy roads to see the show and it was worth the drive, the cost, and effort.

I enjoyed myself. The only thing I was thinking is that the Four Tops should have gone first since it was Temptations concert. It was still lovely

The Temptations are still \u2018Temptin ! The music, the showmanship, the venue were all awesome. I thoroughly enjoyed singing along with EVERY song. Oh the memories those songs brought back. This concert made my evening and I m still singing and moving to the music in my head. ❤️

The Temptations never let you down. The performance was awesome! My daughter and I go annually as our Mother/Daughter trip. Otis Williams never cease to amaze me!

lFirst, to entry the event was easy and fast. I got there about 15 minutes before the show started. You were allow to take photos and my seat was 40 A. (excellent). Had a great time and the Temps performed for almost one and half hours. Doc

Had a great time! The hits kept on coming. Drinks were a bit of a rip off though. $8 for half a plastic cup?!

Temps were better than anticipated, fun & acoustics are great. Another plus for the venue. I had heard the 4 Tops were not so good & unfortunately they were right. We headed out to the catwalk overlooking what ended up as a big 'ol dance party after the show. Again great venue & good time had by all.

Not disappointed at all. Highly recommend to anyone who likes great music!!

We saw the Four Tops and temptations they were amazing we really liked the place and the environment the only real complaint would be the pit seating cost extra that they crammed the seats in way too tight I think I would not purchase tickets for the pit seating here

If you love the TEMPS., you need to see these guys live! Of course they are not the originals But the founder Otis, is still alive and well. My fiance and i blown away by how great the voices are, the dance moves and the fact that they performed so many songs, back to back! One of the best live shows we have seen. There is NO DJ - a live REAL band. :) They are sooooo interactive with the audience. Loved it and we will go AGAIN

So glad I got the opportunity to bring my 6 year old daughter with me to experience my favorite group live! We had a blast. They still put on a great show -- after 6 decades! I sang every song and it took me back to a time when I was her age. They are and always will be a class act...raising the bar for all others.

Loads of great music for anyone. These guys still got it!

Took my Grandmother to see this performance! WOW!!! Those guys (The Temptations & The 4 Tops) really put on a great show! I had so much fun singing along to the songs!! Hope they come back to the Coast in the near future! :)

What an amazing show they put on. It was really fun sitting so close to the stage to be able to see up close. My sister and I had a fun evening.

Ok......there not as great as the original members but last week's line up was very, very, good. Otis and Duke still give it their all . They sound terrific and still manage to crank out their signature moves. Got to give them lots of praise........they continue to come out year after year, doing their shows, when most groups of their era only lasted a few minutes! You will not be disappointed.

I've followed the Temps for 50 years. Once again, not a disappointment. Otis did a solo of "For Your Love" which was wonderful.

I was very surprised at this show, it was almost like the "old" days. the blend the movements were as good as they were in the 70's/80's. they wore all matching clothing and sounded like the temps. There is only one original left these days, but the other guys weren't spring chickens either. these guys made me remember why I loved the Motown days. I do suggest you go see a legendary group before none are left!

It was classic Temptations all the way during their show this past Friday at The Canyon! They gave you all their hits, kept them coming and that same smooth choreography we've grown accustomed to! It was a great show.

Mary Wilson of The Supremes was amazing, and we loved The Temptations and Four Tops! Loved having chairs to sit in and real bathrooms!

This was a fun night! People up dancing and having good, clean fun!

Thought both groups performed very well but sound system for temptations was terrible. Had very difficult time understanding any words they were singing. Thought music overpowered the singers

I Perchanced My Tickets In December. How Ever The Group Was The Temptations & Not The Temptations Review With Mr.Dennis Edwards Of The Photos You Have Here! But I Was Truely Not Disappointed @ All... This Show & Thee Other Show On 4-19-2014 With The Stylistics With My Good Friend Evan & Harold Melvins Blue Note & Howard Hewitt was Out Standing & I Give Them 100% For Their Performance.... How Ever I Was Very Disappointed With The Whispers Performance !! I Was Seated (3) Rolls From The Stage & They Band I Gave 90% & Scotty Did Not Performed Well & They Sang Only (3) Songs & A lot Of People Were Walking Out On Their 2nd Song & The Whispers Just Walked Off The Stage & They Sang All (3) Old Songs & Really Walked Off The Stage & I Will Not Go To See Them Again & That's How Poor They Performed & Their Band Gave A 95% Performance & That's Really Sad & Disappointing That The Band Were Better Than The Artists....

I enjoyed the show. My mother was smiling and dancing and had a great time and my husband and I were just as excited. There were so many people and they were all just having the best time. It was so cool to see Otis still performing with his group. That made it very special for the true fans which I consider myself and the people I went with.

No matter how many changes the Temps have been through over the years, they still sound great. Only one original member - and Otis Williams is fabulous - but the Motown sound continues on. They are entertaining, pay just enough homage to earlier members, and the songs still sound great!! The show was a bit short (only 1.5 hours) which was a bit disappointing but they packed a lot in and were thoroughly entertaining!

Beginning to end the Temptations showed that they are Timeless. Great strong Voices and harmony good as it gets. Took me to another time and level. I got up out of my seat oh so many times.

I didn't have great expectations since not a true fan (the tickets were originally purchased as a gift for a guy I was seeing). What a surprise! They put on a great show. Such energy. They put many younger performers to shame. Was also pleasantly surprised to see they used local talent - their musicians included a former colleague that plays for the Evansville Philharmonic.

I don't believe there is a bad seat in the place, the people working at the Showroom were very nice and helpful and the show was Amazing...they did not stop from beginning to the end. The performers took time to shake hands and thank people for coming and supporting them...something you don't find with performers

The show could have been better if the sound were properly adjusted. I have been to many shows at the Ryman where the sound was great. For the Temptations the lyrics could barely be understood as the sound was mixed poorly and it speakers in the balcony area where I was sitting were not even working. Sound was much better for the FOUR TOPS portion of the show.

It's been a while since I've had front row seats to any show, and since I've been wanting to see The Temptations forever it seemed, I was glad that my sister and I were able to get front row seats to this show. We attended their first show on 4/1, since they had three of them for that week. This was our first time seeing them, and I'm glad we did! It was nice to see that the crowd was made up of people of all different ages, and this showed that this group has decades of influence! The show started on time which is always appreciated, anyone will agree with that, and these men have proven time and time again why they're legends! I loved all the songs that they sung and it was just hit song after hit song and just had me going all night! They were also very engaging with the audience by making us shake hands with the people right next to us, to having men stand up and appreciate their spouse or significant other while they sung to them, and even had a young man come up there and sing, along with JD from The Commodores, which was a nice surprise since they're a favorite of mine, too. A man even proposed to his girlfriend which was also very nice. They introduced each member one by one as well as the band who was great as well. It was so great to see the original member, Otis Williams, since he is the only original one, and people went up to him and shook his hand after the other members introduced him. All the members were great, and showed why they belong in a legendary group. This was a great show, and as long as they're still performing I will go see them!

An excellent evening of great Motown music. The Temptations were superbly backed by 15 musicians playing the following instruments: 5 saxophones, three trumpets, two trombones, two keyboards, guitar, bass guitar and drums. Twenty performers on stage! At $50 per ticket for front row balcony seats this was, without doubt, one of the best entertainment bargains around. The sellout crowd got their money's worth! The concert was fun and very entertaining with a lot of interaction between the Temptations themselves and with the audience. The members, Ron Tyson, Terry Weeks, Bruce WIlliamson, Joe Herndon and the only original member Otis Williams each contributed with great vocals and entertaining. Tyson, Weeks and Williamson each performed superb solos. Williams was having a great time on stage and Tyson, who has been with the group for 28 years led a lot of the talking and introductions. The trade mark choreography was there, a bit slower but very enjoyable to see. The concert was a little over an hour and a half long and it was non-stop and packed with fun, entertainment and great talent. One hit after another, the original sound of the Temptations rang through the theater, the Motown Sound was back!

This was my first time seeing the Temptations, and I loved it! Otis is still move'n and groove'n after 50 yrs of performing. The only thing that could have topped that was have David, Eddie, Melvin and Paul there. RIP guys...miss you very much!

The Temptations were so much more than I expected. Their songs were performed with such energy and enthusiasm. Since there was only 1 original Tempation, I expected it to be just okay. They were as spectacular as all the original singers and their songs took the audience through a time line of oohs and aahhs and so many great memories starting with the 60s and ending with the 80s. After almost 2 hours we were left wanting more... Can'twait to see them again.

Great performance for a full 90 minutes!! Thoroughly enjoyable!! If you are a fan of the Temptations, you won't want to miss them if they come to your area. They interacted with the audience and encouraged singing along with them. My husband grew up in Detroit and of course knew all of the words to every song they sang. The Temps also shook hands and signed autographs. TEMPTATIONS ARE A CLASS ACT.

The Temptations put on a good show. Some of the original Temptation's sound was missing, but I still enjoyed the performance.

This was the best concert I have seen in years, the music was so beautiful and they were such friendly and great entainers, I have been to a few there with my wife and the music was to loud, I would come again and plan on coming to see Ronny Milsap, we loved it very much, we had dinner at the agave then gambled to burn time then saw the Temptations bought their CD also had good seats, A+++++ fantastic, please bring in more like this and we will come so much fun, we hope to see Charile Daniels there too....thanks for a wonderful time:))

This was the most upbeat and entertaining event that I have gone to in quite some time. Out of your seat excitement, hand clapping, tushy shaking and singing out loud!! Can't wait for them to come on back!

I bought the tickets for my husband knowing he loves this kind of music. What I didn't know until I got there was just how much I enjoyed them too! I was singing and hooting and a hollering right along with everyone else. It was a packed house and the whole place just loved them. I was surprised to see how many younger folks were there as well. They are so uplifting and just a pleasure to see. A total blast!

IM 51 YRS OLD AND THIS WAS MY FIRST CONCERT. I COULD'NT HAVE PICKED A BETTER GROUP TO SEE. I HAD CANCER SURGERY MONDAY AND GOT OUT OF BED FRIDAY TO GO SEE THE TEMPTATIONS, STITCHES AND ALL AND IT WAS WELL WORTH IT. I DID'NT REALIZE WHAT I HAVE MISSED TILL I SEEN THESE TALENTE GUYS ON STAGE. I LOVED THEM. ID TRAVEL TO SEE THEM AGAIN. JUST LOVED THEM. THANK YOU TEMPTATIONS FOR MAKEING MY DAY EVEN WITH THE PAIN.

Ashford & Simson was very good.There show was just great, I live in GA by way of NYC. I use to see Mr. Simson walking up 2nd ave all the time as I drove on my bus. He is so down to earth on or off stage. Now on to the Temptations, thay are going great!!! I went to a show in the pocono's upstate New York and it was like seeing the first temptations on stage agend. I see thay have a new member with tham now,the big guy he was good, I really love the show.

First time seeing these groups. They were very good. This was great music. Nice venue but wish there were more food options.

What a show! Even people in the balcony seats were up and dancing during the show! What an amazing evening.

I have wanted to see the Temptations in person for years! Have waited a long time! Especially to see Otis Williams, the last surviving Temptation from the original 60 s group. The venue at Hoyt Sherman Place is gorgeous-restored to it s original beauty. I loved all the original songs they sang! So amazing! But there were some sound issues! The trumpet and drums section was so loud that it overpowered the microphone sound of the singers. Difficult to understand what they were saying. I can t believe that this occurred as usually the sound staff do a sound check prior to concert. Another issue is that Ticketmaster did not tell the ticket buyers that this would be a 60 minute concert. Expensive tickets for an hour! The group started their concert at 8:12 pm-late-then took at least 5-7 minutes to introduce the group members and key band members and they all left the stage at 9:20 pm. No encore! Very disappointed! I think if a person buys tickets through Ticketmaster, they should be upfront about the length of the concert and offer a refund if their are sound issues.

This show was absolutely phenomenal....very energetic and fun! Everyone had a great time. The Rialto should bring more shows like this to their venue....it was a sell-out!!

This is the second concert at Hoyt Sherman where the music (especially the background musicians) has just been too damn loud. Hoyt Sherman is a great venue with perfect acoustics for the likes of Graham Nash and Arlo Guthrie--both of which were terrific concerts. But the inability of the sound crew to control the sound levels for both the Temptations and the Michael McDonald concert a few months ago made these concerts excruciating! The instrumentals in both instances were so loud they made it impossible to distinguish the vocals, and in both cases, we all went home with our ears ringing. It's a shame, and I'm not sure if the sound levels are determined by Hoyt Sherman staff or by the bands themselves. Either way, I'll be very selective with regard to which concerts I choose at Hoyt Sherman from now on. The venue is simply not large enough for head-banging volume levels.

Great music at an fantastic venue... They still know how to get people on their feet!!!

I attended this concert mainly to see The Four Tops. Not sure if they just didn't have as many hits as I remembered, but they sang songs that made no sense...like 'Mack the Knife". I didn't pay that much and drive that far to hear that song! Finally at the end of their set, they sang a medley of their hits. I was very disappointed with their show. The QUALITY was good...but the songs were not. ALSO BE AWARE that the sound system is NOT GOOD at this theater, especially speaking (not singing). I barely understood one word if spoken into the mikes. That was annoying. For the price, they should upgrade the sound system. HOWEVER, the Temptations were FABULOUS! Great songs...hit after hit....and good dancing. I enjoyed them much more than I thought I was going to. All in all, decent concert but wouldn't go see the Four Tops again.

Loved the Temps. Looked good, sounded great and just overall great performers. Slightly disappointed with the 4 Tops. Can t really say why. I do have one big gripe about how loud the band was. They could have toned it down some so the groups voices could have been heard better.

The Four Tops and Temptation Show was awesome. They took me back to the year I graduated from high school. They did a great job. I would go to see them a second time.

We really don t need audience participation at a concert venue. I know we all know all the words to all these favorite songs, but we didn t pay to hear those around us singing them. The Four Tops part of the performance was sub par. The songs were great but it was more of a night club performance than a concert. The performance by the Temptations was very good. We really enjoyed hearing all this wonderful music. The sound guy did an excellent job of not letting the orchestra overbear the vocals. The ushers (senior volunteers) took their job of policing folks camera phones way too seriously. They created more of a distraction and actually blocked our view of the stage several times.

The music was as good as ever. I love their choreography. Great songs -- great memories. The disappointing part was the acoustics at the Rialto Square Theatre. We were up in the balcony, and we couldn't understand what was being said when they spoke. It was somewhat of a problem with the lyrics too, but we know the words.

Four Tops performed 1st. While this is clearly not the original lineup from the '60s/'70s (do the math), they were very good and kept the audience's attention. The Temptations really rocked. Ball of Confusion was and still is a great song. Hard to sit still. For a really great entertaining experience without all of the 'stuff' that comes with younger acts (audience standing and you can't see, lots of drinking and acting up), I highly recommend these two groups. Outstanding

I have been to many concerts at the Rialto and I know the acoustics are fabulous there. This evening it was not good. The Four Tops and the Temptations seem to sing very well but were over powered by the band. The temptations sound was better than the four tops but the musical arrangements were not good on either one. The oldies that we can to hear were short on some and the new material left a lot to desire. Why would either group choose to sing "Mack the Knife"? Also the music arrangements for the songs did not always create the original track and I blame the sound mixer for not providing a crisp sound between the instruments and the singers. At times it was very enjoyable but not for the price we paid.

It was an amazing concert. The 4 Tops were fantastic as were the Temptations. I wish I could do it over.

Four Tops were just OK. Too many 'other' songs in the middle. They had many more hits they could have sung. Temptations were better. They should remove Mack the Knife from their set. Not sure why they sing that but they do not do the song justice.. As for the Rialto - beautiful venue BUT DO NOT waste your money on the Suite Life. A rip off...

The Temptations and Four Tops event was just awesome.

Nice venue. The show was excellent. You have to be a Doo Wop fan of course but I lived through the era. Though most of the original members are dead the show was excellent.

The Temptations were simply amazing and the Orleans Showroom created the perfect backdrop for a charming, stimulating, intimate affair.

Saw them in San Francisco in 1980-81 and show was incredible. Saw them again at Mtn Winery in CA 5-8 yrs ago and show was great. This show at the Orleans was not great or incredible. It was just okay due mostly to singing new songs trying to promote new CD. I d rather hear the classics.

While I am decades too young to have grown up on Motown, it is one of my favorite music eras. This was my first time seeing The Temptations, and they were amazing! They sounded great. They worked hard on stage to put on a fantastic show. I can't wait to see them again and again. Well worth it!

Kudos to these guys, for Dr. Otis to be able to accomplished showmanship for 58 years and still be able to move like he did along with the other members of the group, you can't help but applause their great performance....I loved the show and enjoy listening to some of their greatest hits....The Temptations you guys are awesome, continue with much success in your careers.

The concert was absolutely Wonderful!!!! Otis was great!!!! The performed the whole time of the show and looked like they were having a good time performing.

Each group sang for one hour-15 minute intermission between groups. The choreography (especially for the Temptations) was SO GOOD! People were dancing in the aisles and singing alongl We loved it; we grew up listening to that Motown music in the 50 s

I have seen the Temptations several times and I have never been disappointed. They are true "Showmen".

I was expecting so much more. I love Motown but this concert was not enjoyable at all. It is the very 1st concert that I attended where I couldn't wait until it was over. It was annoying and chaotic. Their voices were very mumbled - if I wouldn't know all the words to the songs I would not have known what they were singing. The band was way too loud for the singers. I feel that the sound people did a terrible job. The microphones for the singers should have been adjusted so that the voices were in the forefront. The singers really oversang each song. I wanted to hear the songs like they were recorded - not all kinds of weird sounds added. The 2 groups looked great up on the stage - their outfits and dance routines were spot on. The sound was so off! This could have been a venue mistake - I have attended other concerts at this venue and they were fine. So - very disappointed

Show was late...almost 7:20 when it started. (Scheduled for 7:00) singers were ok, not great. Too much talking in between songs. Ending introduction of musicians took forever! Wouldnt see it again.

Awesome concert!!! Both groups were lively and very entertaining. They played all of their hits as well a few forgotten numbers. We thought it was amazing that both groups had founding members still performing. Would highly recommend and will definitely attend another of their concerts.

I have seen the Temptations in concert before. They are terrific! They truly enjoy what they are doing Their voices are amazing!. The Four Tops seemed off that night. Maybe something was wrong with their sound system. It was hard to hear them and to understand what they were saying. Not impressed at all. We left the show before they were done.

Show was great. A little disappointed that the audience did not have any 'soul'. They didn't even know the words to most songs when asked to sign along. Did some organization or company purchase most of the tickets??

Otis Williams still has the voice and the steps...as the only original left, he carries on the legacy with top notch performances. Take nothing away from the newer guys...awesome show with old school style!
