Fantastic time! The show was amazing and exceeded our expectations! Would definitely attend again, it needs to come back every year. The security was very friendly and had no trouble. The drinks were pricey, but that is to be expected. Wish bathrooms were available instead of port-a-pottys. Besides this everything was up to par. Great time with friends and would attend over and over if possible! Thanks for a great show!

When I got there it looked like nobody got the memo. The crowd was pretty thin. The event started and I would say barely 200 people were present. As the night progressed, people showed up by the hundreds. By midnight, there were easily thousands partying. The countdown was epic, the djs were epic. I brought my girlfriend who HATES techno/dubstep/electronic music and shes decided for me that we are attending the next one in DC too. The crowd was a little rowdy at this particular venue, at one point they stopped the music and told everyone to stop pushing forward stay in a spot and have fun. Safety = big plus..This was easily in the top 3 best nights of my life. Be warned, u will not leave the event without paint on you. It's a paint party man!! It washes out easy though, just throw ur clothes in the wash as soon as u get home. I bought the VIP package which allowed us speedy entry (not picking up from willcall tho, I wish they had separate windows), a great quality shirt, a swagg wristband and drawstring bag, a CD with sick tunes and a bottle of paint. Value wise, the VIP ticket is worth the extra $20 IMO.

Let me start with the fact that the paint idea was AWESOME. That part of the event is why I had such a good time. But the music was just OK. I heard at least 3 songs more than once. Bad Boy Bill didn't come on to any real fanfare like he used to. No real scratching, no pronouncements of his name or ego-centric intro that we all know and love. They stopped serving alcohol due to some issue with underage drinkers. Really? There are always going to be underage kids trying to drink- did they really outsmart the event staff so much that they couldn't get a handle on it? Disappointing. The guy in the balloon ball on stage was freakin' cool though. Music was OK. Paint was lots of fun.

I truly regret purchasing a ticket to this event. When I arrived at the opening of the event at 8pm, I was forced to stand in line for 2.5 hours waiting to receive my ticket from will call. In that line, I was pushed around in what can only be described as a drunken mob until a certain point where I could no longer breath. Finally at 10:30, I was able to get my ticket and I needed a security guard's help to pull myself out from the pushing crowd. Then I got in to the parking lot where the event took place. It was 50 degrees outside and cold paint was being splashed on me. The crowd was equally drunk as the mob at the will call line. There was vomit everywhere and underage drunken girls being dragged out from the crowd. Day glow is a good idea in theory, but should be strictly 21+ since it was obvious a majority of the drunken people were underage.

The event itself is great. The Will Call was awful, not enough windows opened, no one keeping an eye on it. I am positive it I hadn't been with a guy who was over 6 foot 3 then i would have been knocked down; as it was there were times people were pushing so much I could hardly breath. After we got into the event, everything was fine. I wish the paint started earlier but overall it was amazing and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Maybe it was because I was not drunk/high/both, or maybe it was because they didn't throw paint til 11, but this sucked. Everyone was rude and pushed mercilessly, and tried to dance/hump you even if you didn't want to. If you like being trashy and getting stepped on, by all means go. But if you are intelligent, don't waste your money to go to this awful event.

This was a truely "escape from reality" experience. The music and setup were great and the crowd was having the time of their lifes. The energy was flowing through every person in the venue. I danced and made friends for hours and I cant even dance. Amazing time and I will be going again in a month!

I drove 5 hours for this event and was expecting something way different than I got. The plae was rammed with pushy disrepectful kids. The Tabernacle is a 3 level club and everyone was crowded into the bottom for the paint blast. People were pushy and falling and if you were clostrophic you would have passed out. My boyfriend and I tried to get back upstairs to get away from the chaos. The bounced would not let us upstairs bc we had one speck of pain on the front of our shirts. At this pony, we had stayed maybe an hour and left because the kids were so rude and annoying I could not spend another second at this event. It needs to be advertised to people under 18. Not a happy person.

I had a great time at the Blu tour in Louisville Kentucky. I was first in the building, first in line and in front the whole time! Music was great. Performers did great. I had three buckets of paint poured on me and my friends not including the paint guns that hit us and the paint canons. Made some great new friends while waiting in line and during the concert. Our show had technical difficulties with the paint launchers and we still threw down HARD! It was a freakin blast! Would definitely go again in a heartbeat. Chicks EVERYWHERE! Wearing all kinds of crazy outfits. Music BLARING! Everybody was feeling it, wasn't a single person standing still in the crowd. Drinks on the dance floor, a definite MUST, bravo Day Glow. All around great event, 2nd time I attend when they visit Miami. Wish they would of had more paint sprayings but if you have a few bucks you can buy your own bottles and get all painted up with your friends. overall great music, great time, great people. Dayglow is a must if you havent experienced a paint party!!!! ... note to DAYGLOW- get organized, bought a VIP ticket and waited in a longer line than GA, true fan here so I was patient but you gotta get your staff up to date, NO ONE was able to tell us about how to get our FREE paint bottle or where the liquor was at!

I wasn't anything massively unforgetable, what definitely was was that I spent $40 just to get in (no paint included) to a half empty arena and maybe get warmed up in the rave by the time they closed up (1:30am). So I think it wasn't that great. It wasn't awful, just that for the price it was.

Dayglow was fun, way too crowded, too many cracked out people. I got hit in the face multiple times. I bought VIP tickets for 80$ it wasn't blocked off, anyone and everyone worked their way to the front. VIP is not worth it! Better yet none of it was.... This was definitely one of the most memorable nights of my life so far! It is exactly the scenario I have in my mind when I think of an unforgettable college experience. Nearly 6 hours of nonstop music, dancing, and paint! I had so much fun. The music was great. It was an open floor so if you don't want the extra stuff that came with a VIP pass then a GA ticket would be straight. Standing was fine cause I danced all night. Smoking was no problem because they had a smoking area outside open . The only thing with that is that if you were standing in a good spot and left to have a smoke..u might not get back there unless u pushed your way through again. Food and drinks are over priced like always BUT souvenirs were pretty cool. I had an amazing time there really wasn't anything bad about this event. I enjoyed myself to the max and will be attending again. Giggity!! P.S. I have mad videos and pics but I'm writing this review through my iPhone and it doesn't allow me to upload through here. Sorry guys they're really good quality too. :/

The overall experience was great, love it and will deff recommend to any other person. Few bad things that i found with it that alcohol (just beer) was to expensive for what we got, and the fact that no mix drinks were not offer was kinda disappointing. Just as I expected it was outrageous and one of the best concerts I have ever attended. I mean you just don't get the music but the paint, the show, the amazing acrobats onstage, and the workers making sure everyone is covered in paint. I would totally do it all over again next year. Only thing I would've changed is VIP.. didn't get much more for the extra money spent. Same seating as general, just as fast to get in, and didn't receive everything I was told I would, which was the main reason I bought VIP anyway.

This was such a cool, unique concert. The energy in the room was incredible, and it didn't let up once. The music was fantastic, the lighting was top notch, the DJ's were energetic and entertaining, and the whole premise of the concert was one-of-a-kind. I liked the balloons, confetti, props, and of course the paint! I would definitely return to this concert whenever it comes back to Hartford again.

Lexington wasn't as big as the one in Louisville but I think it was because it was on a thursday night. I know a lot of people who wanted to go but couldn't because they had class the next morning. I think it would have been much better if it was on a friday or a saturday but I still had a great time with my friends! It would have been much, much better if the rest of my friends went but it will still be an event I'll always remember!

My friends and I went to this... we are in our mid-twenties and had never been to a rave or listened to techno, so we were a little nervous. It was an amazing time. We had a blast... music was awesome. The paint does sting a little when it hits you in the face, but you get over it. I wish they had more cannons distributed throughout the arena, but we stood right in front of the paint table, and got slobbed with paint the whole event. They ran out of paint about an hour and a half before the end of the show, so stock up! CANT WAIT TO GO AGAIN!

This was my 2nd time at Dayglow in Hartford and it was awesome! There was even more paint this time than back in September!!! Me and my friends had a blast and even though the tickets were a bit pricey (about $70 including processing/shipping fees) it was definitely worth it!!!! If Dayglow comes back to Hartford, I will definitely go again :)

Security was ridiculous. They watched people do drugs and drink, but as soon you went up on someone's shoulders they caused a huge scene. Also people got violent and they did nothing to stop it. The event took way too long to let anyone in, and the first DJ sucked so bad I wanted to leave. Once it got going though, it was great. Arias, Dada Life and the on stage entertainment was great. There was plenty of paint, we were soaked! There was water and close bathrooms so that was a plus.

It was a fantastic time! I would definitely recommend to anyone who plans on going to wear glasses. The paint burns a little bit when it's drying.

Go to dayglow. It is a legit rave and a great experience. I plan on going to any dayglow that is with in three hours travel time!
