The venue was pleasant, clean, and fairly well laid out. I was looking forward to seeing Escape the fate, seether, and pop evil. I knew skillet was playing, but I was not ready for the amazing performance they powered out. Over all outstanding show.
I just went to this show the other night and i was very very Impressed with Seether and Sevendust. Avenged i was not. Their vocals were horrible. The mic was way to quite and at times you could barely hear him over the guitars. I got tickets for Uproar however because 3 days grace is awesome live and i havent missed a MI date for them yet ! TURN UP YOUR MIC'S FOR THIS SHOW AVENGED !!!!!
Just got back from the Rockstar Mayhem Festival. great show, had an awesome time!! My only complaint was that the vocals were to quiet, more volume on the vocals! Looking forward to the Uproar Festival, Bullet for my Valentine ,yeap! gonna be there front and center, see you all there!!!!!!!
My sister and I finally got to see two bands we have wanted to always see. Seether and Godsmack. It was a great show with Buckcherry, Skillet, Seether and Godsmack. In a beautiful setting. To bad it was hot and humid but it was a really great night.
Great lineup all the bands fit together and completely rocked! The Godsmack drumoff was amazing!

This was the first time that I saw the Uproar Festival. I enjoyed it almost as much as the Mayhem Festival. This was also my first time at this venue (Stage AE). Though I enjoyed the concert and venue immensely, the parking areas around the venue sucked horribly. I thought that I would miss the beginning of the concert as I was driving around looking for an OPEN parking lot.

I thought a typically outdoor festival hosted at an indoor venue wouldn't be up to par, but thankfully I was wrong! They let us come and go out of the 2nd stage outdoor area, so we could buy our t-shirts, get stuff signed by band members and then put it in our car so we wouldn't have to deal with the stuff all day. Loved that, I've lost signed posters when I had to carry them around all day. Bands were great! Hope Sioux City hosts Uproar Festival again next year!

First of all, mad props to Pop Evil. I didn't know a whole lot about them going into the show, but now I am a fan. They were incredible. Seether sounded great, and were well worth the money, but they were by far the least entertaining of the acts. I am still a huge Seether fan and would definitely see them again. Godsmack will blow your mind if you have never seen them. Sully was amazing. He can literally do it all. Robbie Merrill is my hero, as he put on one hell of a Bass Guitar performance. The show itself was unforgettable, from the pyrotechnics to the actual performance. They are just as good live as they are on a CD. One final thought, all of the bands were more than willing to throw souvenirs into the crowd. They were throwing picks, towels, drumsticks, and even some water bottles. The stage crew was giving away the Playlists from off the stage. This show was perfect.

A few of the opening bands where ok, but hey have to start somewhere and get bigger better music. I liked the concert being split from outside to inside, made it more interesting. Just wish all bands that where listed on the line up would've played, bummed about not seeing Red light King or Skillet :( if you can't play the whole festival then find bands that can! Only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars.

CPR Fest never ceases to amaze me. I try to attend every year, but sometimes life gets in the way. Still, My favorite point was, of course, the headlining band; Godsmack. I was lost in the music and suddenly the pain in my body and the heat of the day just melted away. That feeling is why I attend live concerts.

They started on time. Opening acts were all awesome. I had seen Pop Evil before at a small club and they are bigger now and were fun to see at an arena. Skillet I had never seen before. They had a pretty involved stage show including smoke and risers that came up out of the stage. The male lead singer is supplemented by female vocals which I didn't know actually comes from their drummer! Seether was amazing as always. I've seen them about 5 times now, but never at such a big venue. They certainly have the sound and the song catalog to play arenas now. They added another touring guitarist too, which helps fill out the sound. Godsmack had great involvement with the crowd and did a good job blending in a few new songs while still playing all the hits. Sully throwing beers out into the crowd at the end of the set was pretty cool.

Went to see Coheed & Cambria but since we paid for all day we went early all of the early bands realy did nothing for us exept the dead daisies they were the best side stage band by far !!!! the lead singer had a great range and graet harmonies with the bass player...Danko Jones was good had an AC/DC --- Greenday kinda fell ....Circa servive were good but sound quality was not real good... Coheed as all know the drummer was M.I.A. so they did an acoustic set ???? i thought was realy good with what thay had to work with ... Cladios' vocal's were spot on they sounded great but not a rock show still great that they played ... I thought jane addictions' sound could have ben better mabye it was where we were sitting but the sound just was not that good.... Stayed for 3 songs then left had to go to work the next day did not see A I C not a big fan of them heard they were good though

We missed the 1st band, Coheed and Cambria were okay, Jane's Addiction was pretty good, they had some interesting stage effects. AIC came out rocking and intensified the pace until the end , and the sound was excellent. The only downside was the time allotted for AIC, they only played 13 songs, It would have been nice to here a few more.

Good show although the sound quality was off this time around. All the bands singer's could barely be heard and the bass and drumline's were overpowering. The best part of the show was being upgraded to covered seating. We had lawn seats and were there thru most of the show. An employee came around handing out tickets to the covered seating, section 101, so we got there just in time for the last act of the night. (Not that we actually sat down, lol but I did get better pictures!) If buying lawn seats, you want to make sure you get there early enough to be able to sit as close to the front as possible so you can actually see the show. If you sit middle or back of the hill you can't see the stage.

Alice in Chains and Janes Addiction were the bands we bought tickets for, and the only bands we watched. Probably the best show I've seen this summer. I'd love to see them again in a town where the crowd doesn't leave after the first "Goodnight!" and stays until the house lights come up and the roadies start the load out. Seriously.

I only came to see the last 2 bands and they were both great! The only thing I would like to see different is limit the bands on the main stage so that the 2 headlining bands can play longer. I dislike festival events just for this reason. The Headliner should get a full 90 minute set with their opener getting an hour. The place was very empty up until Janes Addiction came on.

We loved seeing Buckcherry, Godsmack, Seether & Skillet! All four bands were incredible and had great set lists. The crowd was large and energetic! Although is was very hot, a good time was had by all. We hated having to park about a mile from the amphitheater entrance in the middle of a field. (That goodness it wasn't raining because I'm sure that field gets awfully muddy!) It's not like we arrived late. We arrived around 4:15 and still had to park a mile away. We have been to many concerts and have NEVER had to park so far away. There are not nearly enough parking spaces near the amphitheater. Then once we arrived at the entrance; we find out there are only 2 gates open. So after a 15 minute walk; we had to wait another 15 minutes to actually get inside. We were not happy. This amphitheatre doesn't have nearly enough beer or food vendors. The bands were great; but I don't think will ever attend another concert at the Charter Amphitheatre. I definitely recommend seeing these bands in concert. I DO NOT recommend seeing a concert at this amphitheatre!!!

Godsmack delivered once again. This band is fun, professional and rocks the house better than almost all bands I have ever seen. I will see them again and again anywhere they play. I started with Led Zeppelin at 13 years old and have seen so many bands since. Godsmack is handsdown top 3. If you want a beer at this venue, sell your car and MAYBE you can buy two beers. RIDICULOUS!!! The opening acts were kinda weak accept Skillet. They rock! Usually a girl in the band equates to a lighter style rock. Not the case with Skillet, these girls make it happen and the band live is fantastic! Bring back Godsmack to Phoenix, Arizona.

The tickets on ticket master for cpr fest was ridiculous over priced with fees and the tickets for vip tickets was as well. Many people at cpr fest complained about how we couldn't even see or go up to the front because of the people that had vip tickets it's very unfair and that we spent a lot of money on tickets. The setup of the two stages bad idea to do. The bathrooms was horrible and leaving too much trash out there and not cleaning it. Overall I'm very disappointed I'm not sure if I would go to cpr fest again next year.

it was great beside the rain for hour, free rockstar energy drink was cool, meet buckcherry was great n cool
The event wouldn't have been complete without hanging in the women's bathroom for an hour half due to rain. Once Pop Evil started the rain never came back. It was an AMAZING concert BUT we missed Buck Cherry, we didn't find a schedule on the bands playing with time.
All the bands that played put on really good shows. The rain wasn't too big of an issue because most everything is paved. The venue was really nice, and the shows were done really well. They didn't put any signs up for the Uproar festival when you got closer, but we figured out where to go. The only complaint I had about any of the shows is that the Godsmack concert was just a little too loud. They really put on a great show, but just cranked it up just a tad too much. The only other bad thing I can say is that there were several select individuals that were smoking dope at all the shows and were very open about it and even blowing it into our faces. This is not easily controlled, but just something to be aware of. I mean, Rockfest wasn't even that bad. I'm in the Army, so I just can't be around that stuff. It just really ruined the shows for us having to try and dodge all the potheads. Yes, I know it's a rock concert, but at least be discreet about it.
It was a great show, Buckcherry kicked ass and Skillet smacked it outta the park. But nothing compared to Seether and then Godsmack throwin' it down. Seating was great, staffing and security for the entire event was awesome and courteous. Stages were set well and there was nothing to complain about. Sound quality was spectactular!
Buck Cherry were troopers and played a great show even with the rain. Pop Evil didn't sound that good, maybe had wet equipment? Skillet impressed me with a very high energy show and the cello and violin added a nice element. Worst part of the night was Seether, just sounded bad and out of time. Godsmack rounded the night up very well with a very good show. Amazing part was there stage actually looked better the farther away you got so you could see what the light show was trying to do.
We didn't make it until after work, but totally enjoyed Pop Evil, Skillet and Godsmack. Seether was my favorite and didn't let me down. I only wish this event had been better advertised and supported so there were more fans out to hear these bands. With such small crowds they may not continue to come back to KC!
GodSmack was amazing! Seether, Pop Evil and Skillet all put on good shows. Not impressed with Buck Cherry at all. The venue was good. Not as many vendors this year. Also not as many people in general this year, but rain could have kept them away. All seats being general admission was very confusing. I didn't like this even though we ended up with pretty decent seats. I'd rather be able to purchase the exact seat we are supposed to sit in. I talked to several people there who were confused about the seating.
Pros: Great lineup (Seether, Skillet, Godsmack, Buckcherry, Pop Evil, ect.) Wide Venue (Can be up in the crowd or in seats that aren't half a mile from the stage) Cons: Pricy drinks & snacks Set at an amphitheater the same day it rained for three hours with little sun. Come prepared for rain if it is in the forecast in an open-air venue.
Well my last Uproar was great but this one was a disappointment. I was really surprised that Buckcherry wasn't on the main stage for one. I thought Pop Evil was good but didn't know why they didn't play the Bosses Daughter which is currently being played on the radio. Not a Skillet fan and it seemed odd they were on this venue. I love Seether and so disappointed when I immediately realized it wasn't the lead singer, Shaun singing. They had a stand in and tried to fool the crowd. They didn't say anything about it. I new the minute he started singing that it wasn't him. He was good but really upsetting to us fans. Then my favorite band - GODSMACK, Sully was feeling no pain and admitted to drinking a bit of tequila. They were completely off all night. The crowd wasn't that large and it had rained for 2 straight hours and we weren't loud enough for him. Still they shouldn't take it out on all of us who love and follow this band no matter what.
The bands were awesome, staff (ushers) were very helpful, however, the venue only had a few food tents open....only a few food options...plenty of alcohol everywhere you turned (not everyone drinks alcohol).... Very disappointed in the food....my wife and I go to several concerts per year in the Midwest....this was by far, the worst when it comes to vending..... As far as the Uproar Festival, Incredible! Enjoyed every band....we have been to several outdoor events, but will be hard pressed to go back to Cricket Wireless in the future!
The band's were great to watch but I thought that all of the bands could've played on 1 stage instead of 2 to make it more convenient for everyone. Also there wasn't too much for food there compared to other festivals I've been to. Plus someone could have made a lot of money selling ponchos or plastic bags because of the rain.
The only complaint I have is where the hell were the suicide girls? Weve been waiting months to see them and no show. Kinda disappointing. Skillet was amazing! Loved seeing Seether and Godsmack.
I liked all the head liners. They did a great job. Just wish Pop Evil could have played longer. The bands in back were good too. Buckcherry was the last band to play out back and played an hour. Pop Evil was the first band on the main stage, but only played 40 min. All and all, I always enjoy the Uproar shows. It's a great way to see up coming bands as well as your favorits...
Not a lot of people there because of rain. Tickets that cost me nearly $100 only cost others $20....NOT FAIR!!!!!

First of all, Buck Cherry was not on the main stage. Second, Seether's lead singer was a no show, literally he did not show up, and third of all, Godsmack's Sully was a little drunk and he and his band were at times off key and not together. Last Uproar Festival for me. No wonder the crowd was so small.

Uproar is always one of the best shows. The organizers do a great job of picking just the right balance of headliners like Seether and Godsmack, and upcoming bands like Within Reason and Pop Evil. If you get the chance to go, GO!

Solid show all around - I've seen all the bands before and knew more or less what to expect. Skillet exceeded my expectations significantly, Seether was what I expected (they sound great live but have a pretty poor stage presence and don't engage with the crowd much) and Godsmack, while not one of my favorite bands, is one of the best live bands you'll find.

Great show! Always cool to see Corpus bring in amazing bands as much as possible. Would definitely see any of those bands again anytime! Looking forward to see the next show!!! Made it late to the show and am sure the opening bands would have been great as well. Cant wait to get another chance to see them soon.

Uproar turned into an experience of a lifetime for me. Saw some amazing bands making a name for themselves and some of the biggest names in the biggest names the music industry. Part of a dream was fulfilled when i got my bass signed by the lead singer and bassist of Skillet Joe Cooper on top of getting it signed by Beyond the Fade and Three Years Hollow. Seeing Skillet, Seether, and Godsmack LIVE just overall made a breathtaking experince. CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK NEXT YEAR!!!!!

I would for sure tell everyone and anyone to go see this lineup of great bands. Uproar is a not to miss event. Had to pay for parking which was next to event. Didn't really care just couldn't have me walking blocks and blocks. I would recommend pit tickets to anyone who comes to corpus christi concrete event center. For the extra 20 bucks or more it's worth every penny.
