University at Buffalo Bulls Mens Basketball

Alumni Arena is a disgrace. You pay for tickets and expect to see a game, only to have your sightlines blocked by concrete railings. I spent half the game moving my head around so I could see the play at one end of the court. Never again

I am a UB alum and attended my first BB game. Will not be my last. Incredibly fun.....compared to a Sabres game (zzzzzzzzz) is exponentially better. It's a real college hoops environment right here in Buffalo!

Day started with a sunny drive up from Olean and breakfast at Dina's in Ellicottville. Great seats and easy pickup at UB's will call window. A tremendous game between two possible NCAA tournament teams as they battled back and forth. The game could have gone either way with five minutes to play, but Bona made a few more plays at the end and we were fortunate to get the win. Lots of fellow Bona fans in attendance, and we enjoyed the thrill and camaraderie of cheering our players on to victory. Dinner and drinks (my wife drove home) at 99 Brick Oven in Lancaster capped a great day with friends.

I really enjoyed the game and watching the seniors play! Applauding for them at the end as they each went off the court was emotional. I was especially glad to see Pino play this week. He is dynamite on the court. I liked the coordinated plays at the basket between Hamilton (0) and player #4 in particular as well as with others. Wish I had come to more games this year. The band is great....the cheer leaders (both groups). The energy and enthusiasm and team spirit is contagious. Go Bulls in Cleveland!!

Great seats for general admission. Only recommendation is that tickets more clearly marked as general admission. We sat in row H and had an endless line of people trying to sit in row G because the tickets were marked row GA. Otherwise, great game - great seats.

Amazing game. Constant excitement. Was a sell out and the crowd was great and loud.

Affordable fun for the family! We had a great time. Easy to get to. Looking forward to next season and taking in more games.

We enjoyed the UB Bulls double-header on Jan 17th. It was exciting and well worth the ticket price. Parking is free and convenient.

Probably the most-lopsided UB win I ever saw. Always fun to see. Hurley has them playing a more attacking inside game. Reg was always afraid to take things to the bucket. Gotta work on the shooting still but the free throws are much improved. Go Bulls! As for the in-game experience, it's great. A good place to take kids.

The event was great as UB pulled out a big win. Unfortunately, the game started at 6:00PM and ticketmaster listed it as 7:00PM. Lucklily I knew about it beforehand so I didnt miss a thing.

My son and I had a fun time. We plan on attending more games for next years season.

The men's basketball game was very exciting. This was my first time in Alumni Arena and I was quite impressed with it. The score board/photo cube is impressive. Seeing the plays, as well as the other things it featured, was enjoyable and added to the whole game experience. I also enjoyed the university band and the school spirit exemplified by the frat and sorority attendees. I was actually surprised at the number of people who were in attendance. Most of all, I was so excited to see one of my former students score the first basket of the game. Congratulations to Javon McCrea and to the entire team on an exciting win. I am looking forward to returning to Alumni Arena for a game. If I lived a little closer, I would attend many games. The entire way in which the event was planned and carried out was geared for the enjoyment of the spectators. Nice job and a great experience !

The event was great. Real good game, The enviroment was hospitable. would highly reccomend. Will be going back again.

Fun event. Crowd was respectable where I sat. The teams kept up their momentum.

Good representation of BYU fans, although from looking the crowd I don't think that was the case. A UB fan behind me told me UB turnout was greater-than-average because they were playing a quality team. Jimmer put up 34.

This was a great game at a great venue. My son's and I have been to about 10 games in the last 5 or 6 years and have never been disappointed. My children are 13 years old and this is an alcohol free venue which makes it family friendly. I never have to worry about inappropriate language or drunken behavior. Coach Witherspoon always has his team ready to play. There is not a bad seat in the house. Well, I wouldn't sit in the 300's, but anywhere else is a great seat. The concessions are just ok. Nothing special, but that keeps the bill down for me. Parking is free and close by and leaving the venue takes no time at all. This game was great. U.B. made us proud and competed for the win against the 16th ranked team in the nation. There were some Canadian people sitting around us that were BYU fans and we were talking and they were very impressed with the facility. I can't recommend this facility and this Basketball team highly enough.

The experience at the basketball game was awesome. Great venue and a terrific effort by both teams. It as great to see players who truly have a love for the sport.
