The whole experience was great. Great seats, great acts, and not as expensive as I thought. I would however suggest getting there early to enjoy the kiddie rides. Wonderful value for the money. My five year old is still talking about it.

The Shrine Circus was a 10 star rating in my opinion. Everything was done so well and the clowns were very entertaining. My whole family thoroughly enjoyed the show from beginning to end as well as the elephant rides! It was worth every penny spent!

Honestly my husband and I thought this event was unorganized, and we had great seats but due to them putting this Circus together in 3 sections it was hard to see all of the program. I would not recommand this to a friend. Our children 9 and 6 were bored and ready to go home half way through the program.

Took 5yr old and 7 yr old the had an awesome time from start to finish. Go early to ride animals pics with clowns and face painting the intermission does not last long enough to do it all. The workers doing these things are also the performers and the kids enjoyed knowing the 11yr old that painted there face was the same girl flying in the air and the elephant they rode was part of the show. We had a great time have been twice before and will go again next year should of been more clowns in the show

The kids enjoyed the circus. They loved seeing the lions and tigers. I think their favorite was the motorcycle act. The ticket prices were reasonable and it was worth the money. The only thing we felt was priced too high was the games, rides, etc. It cost $6 for my son to go down the inflated slide once. This is outrageous!

Circus was great. I could do without the pimping of the toys from the ringmaster. All the acts were cool, though.

All the performers were great in their acts. Being on the back side of the center ring was good most of the time but didn't always have a good view of what was going on in the ring due to blockage by part of the act - e.g. the dogs on the motorcycle blocked our view of the tricks being done & the mother elephant definitely blocked our view of the baby elephant doing tricks. We sat on the floor, second row up. My grandkids loved going to the circus!

My Circus experience included 4 adults and one child (age 4). We all had a great time. The show was filled with amazing talent and was captivating enough to hold the attention of the 4 year old the entire time. Our favorite acts were the quick change, the lion and tiger tamers, the juggler, and the acrobats. There were a few things that I was less than impressed with. #1. The vendors selling popcorn, snow-cones and souvenirs kept walking up and down the isles, and stopping to sell items, obstructing our view. #2. The ringmaster stopped the show twice to hawk their souvenirs. I understand that this is another method of money making from them, but I didn't feel that it was appropriate for them to try to sell the children on these items. #3. The price of everything was out of this world. We paid $8 for an elephant ride for our child. $4.50 for drinks (the 1.50 20 oz Gatorade I bought from the vending machine inside the coliseum was expired.) $6 for the inflatable slide $4 for airbrushed tattoos $3 for cotton candy $6 for a light up souvenir. Granted you don't have to buy any of these items, but you want the circus to be a memorable event for your child. It would just be nicer if some of these things were to cost a bit less. Overall, even if they don't make any changes at all, we would still go back another year.

The only major problem of our experience was that the performers rarely faced our side of the arena. We saw a lot of backsides and that didn't seem really fair to our side. Our favorite acts were the trapeze artists, the quick changers, the motorcyclists in the cage, and the elephants. Not much action from the clowns although the cannon shoot was the favorite with my grandkids. My four that did the elephant ride after the show (we were cut-off at intermission and had to wait) were excited about that and my granddaughter loved the tigers and lion (who had to have been drugged. Never saw such slow-moving, lazy animals). The commercials for the toys during the show was odd and the crowd didn't seem too excited about much of the show. Probably would not do it again.

We go to at least 2 circus shows every year. Some years even more. This show was one the top 5 shows we have seen. Every act was good and a couple were great. We laughed, we were amazed, we were impressed, and we were entertained from start to finish..

I thought that the show was awesome. The cost of the activities was extremely pricey and really not very affordable to most middle-class families who live on a budget. We were very pleased with the overall experience and really loved our seats.

The Shine Circus is an event worth supporting, no doubt. It seemed like they were trying to fill up time with the parade of Shriners and mini go carts. The circus itself was entertaining, but not as well attended as I was expecting.

In the technological age in which we live, it takes a lot to capture the attention and entertain our youth, but the Shrine Circus certainly did that for us, our children, and grandchildren! One can truly appreciate, first-hand and personal, the amazing talents and skills of the performers . . . humans and animals! We especially appreciated the warmth and kindness of the event staff, and the ability to get down close in the three rings at intermission and after the show to ride the elephants, ponies, and camel; and to participate in other fun activities with the clowns. Great entertainment and for a very worthy cause of supporting our Shriners and their wonderful work with their children's hospitals!

We have been to several Murat Shrine, and Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus performances in the past . The March 5, 2011 performance was lacking in excitement, and the youngsters (3 and 4 year old girls) as acrobats and elephant trainers, in my opinion, is not entertainment, it's exploitation. Seeing some overweight dog/elephant trainer strutting her body about, along with her dogs that hunched each other was disgusting. Her elephant act can be seen at the zoo everyday without all the "ta dums" from band. In performances past the clowns were constantly performing or enteracting with the audience; not so with this years show. All in all the show was boring. We purchased 2 boxes of popcorn that was disgusting...burnt and stale.

My family enjoyed the circus very much. We had great seats. There were a few things I didn't like. I didn't like the parking at Pepsi Coliseum. I also did not like that in the middle of the circus the ring master pointed out all the light-up toys to buy and had the crowd members who baught one play a game. I felt like this was innapropriate because not every family cant afford a $15 light up toy and now they feel left out. The ring master then later announces that everyone wants to remember there trip to the circus and we should all get a stuffed animal or something to remember the event. I dont think they should do that. The stuff is already in-your-face. I did like that they had lots of things before and during intermission to do. The elephant rides, pony rides bouncy houses and such were fun but a little expensive. The proceedes go to the Shriners so I was prepared to spend extra money. I only have 1 child but the families that have more children may not have been able to participate and that makes me sad.

Not sure why but did not find this Circus that fun. I felt that many parts were just slow or long. The Lion's act I felt just was a little too long. The acrobatics were nice but average. Nothing spectacular and in-between one stunt and another too much time lapsed when we are just sitting and waiting for them to prepare. I just did not find it that fun and exciting. Nothing really new. It has all been done before. I would like to see new acts like quick change acts and hula hoop stunts to liven things up. Not sure if I would go again unless I knew I would see something new and exciting.

Circus was cute but not as spectacular as Ringling Bros. Our 2 1/2 year old got bored so we left at intermission. We did not care for the venue. We had a broken seat so our daughter had to sit on my husbands lap. Also, people are allowed to smoke right outside the main entrance so our kids had to be subjected to second hand smoke in the foyer and as we exited. Inappropriate especially at an event for kids.

The circus is for the young @ heart. Me and my 2 boys loved it:) How can you not love the circus?? I did only give it 4 stars though because of our seating location and the price of everything. We were blinded everytime the trapeze artists swung through the air because of the spotlight, but other than closing our eyes through that whole perfomance, we had a really good time. And the prices were somewhat gut-wrenching for the toys and snacks, but all in all, had fun. The classic clown skits and the elephants......you just had to be there!

The circus was ok for age 6 and uner, however the circus had two main seating areas and the circus performance was facing the one side the entire time of the event. It was a little creepy sometimes and strange witht he camel, dogs and horses section. Also, the intermission was ok. My son rode the elephant ride but hard to get a picture and no Shrine person taking pictures there which i would have loved a picture of my son riding the elephant. Pepsi Colesium seating i think was good just a small circus event and think more could have gone on at once.

Some acts were very good. Tthe acrobates routines and the motorcycle act were the highlights. The trampoline show was not professional. My daughter (age 12) could have done better on the trampoline. The other acts were average or just fair. The sound system at the venue made the Ringmaster impossible to understand. This made the clown shows impossible to follow.

This was an OK circus, but nothing extraordinary. It was also overpriced - $8 to ride the elephants! The ringmaster had a contest between the two sides of the audience as to who would have the most lighted wands, making every child who didn't have one feel terrible. The performers faced the opposite direction of where we sat most of the show, and we had floor seats.

My girls were so excited throughout the whole entire show. Even during intermission where they bought tokens to ride an elephant...yay!!! My 5 year old continually hugged me throughout the show and telling me thanks for bringing her, I will never forget that. Family fun at a great price and was not disappointing at all. This was my birthday present to my family and we will continue to make this an annual thing from here on out. Thanks again for the entertainment as well as for what the Shriners do for the children.

Well to start I paid top price for my tickets, and I had to move to the higher seats. My son is 4 and could not see over the heads of everyone. So I paid $19 for $11 seats. I feel that this is a good circus, but a circus is about the clowns. These clowns did not walk around or interact with the kids much, unless you wanted to pay $6.00 for a picture with one. I think that they need to rememeber that these kids look forward to going to these events and want to experience the whole thing. We say one clown at the intermission and we walked right past us and did not stop for any kids. I don't want this to be a hate mail about this circus, because we did have a good time. I just feel that they need to step back and take a overlook of alot of the things and try to make it alittle better for the kids.

It has been years since I have been to the circus. They certainly have cut back on the spectacle in terms of the amount of acts and costumes. I missed the big parades that they used to do and the amount of acts going on simultaneously. The acts that were in the show were very good particularly the tiger/lion trainer. I know that the Shrine Circus also provides some fundraising but the emphasis on buying merchandise and the amount of vendors was over the top. There were a few times I couldn't see the show because of vendors blocking the view. Overall it was an enjoyable experience and I hope that circuses can survive in the present economy.

I would not recommend this event to any one else. I used to go to this circus when i was a child and it was great. They did not have half the stuff that they used too. It was mostly people out there doing stuff that was not very interesting. The only part of the show that my children enjoyed was the motorcycles and the lions. The rest was not really related to the circus. The clowns were boring when they did come out and when we could go down and talk to them they did not really act like they wanted to be there. The cost to ride the ponies or the elephants were outragous. When the things were going on down on the floor everything was facing the other stands on the other side. Ok i realize that they were facing the people that were there but they completely forgot about a whole side of the stadium of people that had also paid to see the show. All we got to see was the back of everything that was going on. We were very disappointed I wish that we would not have spent the money to go to the circus. I would actually like my money back so i can take my children to see something that is worth spending money to go see.

It was o.k. The intermission was a little too long, so they could let everyone ride the elephants. After watching video of other Shiners circus' this year, it did not seem to be as good. The tiger show was very short and at the other end of the arena, so kind of hard to see. I would recommend for someone that has never been before, but not for a yearly event to go and see.

For a small circus, it was nice. The kids enjoyed it. The only issue we had was the volumn.. With it being an event geared for small children, especially, it was way too loud. Our ears acually hurt by the time it was over. We debated on leaving at the half time due to it, but thought maybe it would be turned down. It was not. Over all, though it was nice show and the performers where dedicated to the show. .

This show was well worth the price for my family of four. Some of the acts were very captivating. I did notice that some of the vendors were charging different prices for their light up toys. For examle: One vendor charged $15 for a lit sword and another charged only $8. That was disappointing.

The circus was great. My daughter, who is 3, loved it. It was great being able to walk around the area where the performance would occur. The only problem was how overpriced everything was. $6 for a fuzzy picture with the clowns? And we were not allowed to take our own picture with the group after paying this amount. And $3 for a balloon is ridiculous. It was really nice of the clowns walking around to stop for pictures when asked for no charge.

The show was terrific. Grand Mom and I took out 5 year old grandson to his first circus and we all loved it. I can't believe there were some negative reviews. There were 11 beautiful, well kept tigers that did tricks inside a cage with 2 trainers. There were 3 full sized and one baby elephant that did an act including laying down and a kind of Rumba dance. The dog act was cute. The camel, llama and horse act was also cute. The trapeze act must of had 8 or so hard body girls and guys flying all over the place. The girls did several eye candy aerial acts. I was riveted, in spite of my advanced age. At the intermission, you could even walk the floor and ride the elephants or horses for a fee, or walk around and see things up close for nothing. It doesn't get any better than a Sunday at the circus with your grand son.

The acts were amaturish, out of all the acts there were only 2 that were worthwhile. I feel they concentrated more on pushing their stupid toys/asking too much for the attractions verses the quality of entertainment. I understand this is for charity, however you don't have to charge an arm and a leg for good quailty family fun. Definately, will not go back.

We've been to the Shrine Circus before at the Pepsi Coliseum, but this year it was the worst. We realize there is a lot of fund raising involved, but the extended intermission to allow for kids to ride the animals, should be limited to before and after the show. Here are a few of the problems: 1. The audio for the ring-master's microphone was horrible, we could not understand a single word he was saying it just came across as noise, no one in the show appear to care, even when it was pointed out that the audience couldn't hear him 2. Most circuses recognize that the audience is on all sides of the arena, the Shrine Circus appears to only care about one side, and that wasn't ours unfortunately. Our kids got to experience the backside of the elephants all during their show, when the baby elephant came out for a show with the little girl the mother elephant was positioned between us and the ring pretty much blocking out the whole act; and during the "finally" which included about 18 performers walking out to the center ring and holding up their arms they dropped an enormous American flag blocking everyone on our side of the arena from even seeing that. Kudos on the patriotism, can't say much for your consideration of patrons 3. The ring-master spent 10 to 15 minutes of the show focusing on the various light-toys (swords, butterflies, etc.) and encouraging the kids to use them; it was a little thoughtless to the parents of kids and to kids who didn't have them; pretty blatant attempt to guilt the parents into purchasing over-priced souvenirs 4. The interactive stuff wasn't too bad, lines were handled well and went more quickly this year; prices are a little steep $8 elephant or camel ride, $6 pony, $6 to go down the bounce slide 1 time was outrageous, $2 for a balloon animal was about $1 more than it should have been 5. Concession prices weren't bad $3.25 for cotton candy wasn t bad at all (Barnum and Bailey want $10 and throw in a junky hat); popcorn was $5 for large (not bad) In all, had they fixed the audio (and this was the last show, so I doubt we were the first to suffer this) and not shown us their hind-ends throughout the whole show it might have been tolerable. Given that they didn't seem to care for the entire patron's enjoyment I don't think we'll ever go back or recommended it no matter how cheap they make the tickets. We paid about $25 per seat, one step down from the "best" category of seats; which it a reasonable price if we'd been treated equally.

It was a great show and my mom, sisters, brothers and I really enjoyed ourselves. It was the first time we have ever been to the circus, so we was really excited.

I remember going to the circus a lot growing up, as my grandfather was a Shriner. The circus of today is a bit different, as they REALLY use it as a tool to SELL, SELL, SELL! The performances were great, but I didn't appreciate the ringmaster peddling the light up toys continuously during the show. Also, the time before the circus and intermission was used to sell pony and elephant rides, airbrush tattoos, etc. I understand everyone needs to make a dollar, but it was a bit over board.

The circus was great. The animal rides before, after, and during intermossion were a bit expensive, but overall it was great.
