This is the second game I have taken my daughter too and we are so blown that the stadium isn't packed! The talent that is on the field is amazing and how the ladies treat their fans after playing a long hot match is incredible! Definitely becoming a season ticket holder next year :)

This was our 1st women's professional soccer event. It was present for my youngest daughter's birthday. It is a day she will never forget. Women athlete's ROCK! I was amazed at the speed, agility and determination the Chicago Red Star's exhibited! Megan and Natalie were especially enjoyable to watch. Do or Die Chicago Red Stars! Congratulations of the final win of the season!

First time I'd been to Toyota Park. It was beautiful and very easy to get to. Parking was reasonable and close. The game was tremendous fun, although it would have been better if Chicago had won. Still, I'd recommend a Red Stars game to anyone; just don't forget sunscreen!

I probably would not have attended this WPS game if not for being able to see the AC Milan training session, as well. The game itself was pretty good. The players really went all out and showed good skills and creativity. I guess my only disappointment as a fan is that neither team was able to generate many real threats on goal. The one goal was excellently played, but it was really the only test either keeper faced (due to misplaced shots when someone finally got into position). I'm not from the Chicago area, but I would go to another game if I'm there when the Red Stars play.

A large majority of the people came to Toyota Park for A.C. Milan practice. Their was many disappointed children at the practice. They didn't let the players autograph anything and Ronaldinho only signed for 10 mins mostly a photo opt. for publicity. This could have been scheduled so much better. Also I found out that they had a signing opt. at an Adidas store, this was never mentioned, because no one would have bought ticket to the red star game. I have an extremely disappointed kid, that only started playing soccer because of Ronaldinho and he couldn't get his jersey sign.

I love watching soccer! I love watching women's soccer because I am on a women's soccer league! The women are more aggressive, I think, at going for the soccer ball than the men! This makes for a more action packed game! The Toyota park soccer field is awesome! I would love to be able to play on that field!

Enjoyed the game. $15 for parking a bit steep until it is all paved. Easy access to and from the venue. Will call tickets were not easily found by agent. Will Call window should be marked more clearly. Great value for our seating. We are planning to go a few more times.

Great entertainment value for your buck. See the highest level of women's soccer at a great venue (Toyota Park). A family-friendly event, and the most fan-friendly league I have ever attended. A must-see for everyone from the hardcore soccer fan down to the soccer novice experiencing their first game. Mark my words...you will not be disappointed!

First time at Toyota park, it's a great stadium. Easy to find, parking was easy, $15 per car. Folks were tailgaiting in the parking lot. Very nice atmosphere, lots of families. There was a cover band playing in the party area. There were with some fun givaways. The Chicago womens softball team were signing autographs. Food was really good, we shared a smoked turkey wrap...pleasant change from hot dogs, although plenty of hot dogs to be had. Beer selection was good too (for a sports venue). The Red Stars beat the LA Sol 3-1. Great game...we will be back.

I went to my first Chicago Red Stars game ever this past Sunday. It was a great experience, well organized, clean and fun! I grew up playing soccer on boys leagues before all female leagues were created, and so I have a special place in my heart for seeing a Women Pro Team finally representing Chicago! I wish I would of had a team like this to look up to when I was a young soccer player :) May they stay for many years to come!!!......and have the "Chicago Red Stars" painted on the front on Toyota Park like the Fire have already.

I really enjoyed watching the women play great soccer, even though they lost 3 to 2. I'd never been to Toyota Park, so that was new for me as well. Nice place. One thing I was a bit confused about was that parking was $15 and so was my ticket for the game. Shouldn't women's sports be better respected? How about making parking $5, and also putting up a sign that says how much it is as you're driving in. We had to ask the guy, and he could have made up anything.

I visited Chicago this summer while on honeymoon and as two football/soccer fans from England we wanted to see a game, unfortunately I didn't find until too late that the men played on the Saturday evening as I would have much preferred to see that than this rather lame attempt! So what was wrong? Well for two holidaymakers it was a long way to go to a concrete bowl in the middle of nowhere. The staff were helpful but on a very hot day with very little shade offered and nothing to do for us early arrivers, we were forced to sit and wait for the gates to open. We were then met by security who would not let anyone in until 2pm, when getting in they confiscated our water bottle only to give us two more when we got in, can someone explain this to me? There were two water fountains for the whole of the near 4,000 crowd meaning long, hot lines, and very little in the way of entertainment to keep us interested while we waited. At the same time, the concessions were expensive as expected and most staff seemed bored. Before the game we were told to respect the ref (we're paying customers, we'll say what we like if they get it wrong - that's the way the rest of the world does it) and the game was as expected, though whose idea is is to walk out to Coldplay? And who wants an in-depth introduction to every player, get on with the game? And interviewing the player of the match who has just lost the game, kick them while they are down? One bonus point was that the transport back to the El station was available as promised and we were back in downtown Chicago within a couple of hours. If I were to visit the city again I would visit to see the Fire play, but I hope more attention is paid towards the facilities for customers and overall experience.

What a great game! The Red Stars had a TON of great chances in the first half and just didn't put one away. The crowd was really charged up and into the game. When they scored right out of the gates in the second half, it really set the tone, which just rolled on to the 2nd goal. The Red Stars played great tonight, keeping possession a lot and stringing together some great passes and making well-executed and creative plays. Was glad to see them come out with the win. Toyota Park is a great place to catch a game, and the Red Stars are really fun to watch.

My family loves the game and we are extremely proud to partake in the Movement to support women in professional soccer! We love the Chicago Red Stars, the coach and organization. Fans, come join us in celebrating the accomplishments of our ladies and let's keep the moment going! The women's game needs fans in seats to support them! If you're a dad, mom, brother, sister, uncle, aunt, friend or family member or you simply believe in the game and it's beauty, support the women by showing up! Life goals: to see the game for women so successful that each game is sold out and the ladies are paid well for giving their life to this amazing game!

Traveled from out of town to catch a game. The stadium is in the middle of nowhere, but is nice. I was a little confused because I thought there would be a Pace bus available post-game to take us back to the train station, but was informed that it was only available after certain games (probably Fire games). The merchandise is also a little pricey ($50 for a shirt), but they have great designs. Food was good for stadium fare as well. There were a lot of young fans at the game with their parents. The team itself is top notch and fun to watch.

The soccer was excellent. To watch as many as eight national team players face each other in the domestic league is an exciting experience no matter how you look at it. My wife and I sat in the third row, and were as close to the play action in real life, as we would be to our TV at home. That is to say 10 - 15 feet. What is disappointing, and consistently so, is Toyota Park. Despite the growth of domestic soccer for men and women, Chicago has not gotten with the program. As a result, attendance at matches is limited. For television purposes the stadium only sold one side of the stadium, and it is the side where you face into the sun the entire match. It was impossible to get comfortable during the entire match. We escaped to some shade during the half time, and debated returning to our seats for the second half. In hindsight, I would not have attended that match if my tickets were free, and I were chauffeured to the stadium. I will likely not attend NWSL matches at Toyota Park based on the time of day and the seating arrangement. I would rather stay home and watch on TV.

The concessions were accessible, the bathrooms clean and easy to find, all the booths seeking things weren't blocking traffic, and the stadium is incredible to be out in the middle of a suburb. The seats are spacious and comfortable, reasonable price for being 3 rows up from the field and the facilities are amazing. Workers were friendly, the game was absolutely amazing and I felt very safe all around even though I was not rooting for the home team. Definitely coming back for another game, I suggest others do as well. Sorry for all the talk of the stadium but I'm an architecture student and I really appreciate how well the stadium was planned out.

The soccer on the filed was fun to watch. The women played an exciting game including a last minute tying goal. It's too bad the game was overshadowed by the management completely failing their customers and bot allowing them to sit in the empty half of the stadium in the cool shade. Don't go to a Red Star game at Toyota Park as they obviously don't know how to run one there. The women I spoke with identified herself as management as she kicked us out of the shade, and said that for safety reasons we couldn't sit in the shade. They had failed to open that half of the stadium even though the forecast had been calling for this weather for several days if not a week. I mentioned that I thought it was a safety issue for all of the kids in attendance to be sitting in the direct sun with no shade. She said that since no one complains at their Benedictine games they didn't think it would be an issue. I gave up talking at that point as she obviously didn't care about her fan-base including by two small children. I will say that I have been to games at Benedictine and both were evening games so I've had no complaint about the sun and heat in the past. But when you schedule a game at 4:00 weather and sun should be taken onto account. Even if the weather was not as hot, you would think the team would want the fans sitting with the sun to their back rather than staring into the sun. A complete miss for the Red Star management. They eventually allowed fans to sit in the shade after half time, and 99% of the fans immediately moved there. Too bad they didn't fix that ahead of time. No apology or thank you to the fans when the announcement was made. They "allowed" us to sit there. Too bad for the team that the management doesn't take fans comfort into account

Normally, I love going to Toyota Park, but when the temperature is 93 and the venue is less than 1/2 full and most of those seats general admission, you would think the half of the stadium with shade would be open. Unfortunately, the park officials only opened the 1/2 of the stadium with seats in full sun. The players were clearly affected by the heat too. Their play was less than full-on. The park finally started letting people move to the shady seats at half time, but they only opened one section and there were over 6 sections of people in the sun. By that time we had reached our heat limit and decided to head home and follow the game online. It ended in a 1 - 1 tie. We agreed we did not miss much. Park officials really fell down this time. We've sat through some really harsh weather for soccer matches, but sitting in the stifling heat while seats in the shade were right across from us and empty was just too much for this day.

This was a good game. Women's soccer is exciting - the ladies play very well. This is one of those DO NOT MISS events! Took our U-11 girls soccer team and their parents to the Red Stars playoff game at Toyota Park. The players are not only exceptional athletes (including some World Cup winners!), but they are also very, very generous with their time and spend about 45-60 minutes after the game signing autographs for all the kids! On the way home, the kids in the car were chanting the Red Stars songs, talking about how cool this player was vs that, and saying "this was the best day EVER!". And all for $20 per ticket, with free parking in a world class, brand new soccer stadium! You just can't beat it if you're even a little bit into soccer and live in the Chicagoland area!

Toyota park is a very nice park. Its obviously no where near as big as soldier field or one of the baseball stadiums of the other Major league teams, but the intimate size makes it a more up close and personal experience. Basically every seat is a good seat and the Red Stars are a really good team that we Chicagoans need to do a better job of supporting to get them over the hump and win a championship in the NWSL. they are a perennial playoff team and we need to treat them like one!

It was burning hot, the side with the shade was close and the bathrooms didn t have a/c neither .. they only had two refreshment stands open and 20 bucks for parking it s ridiculous

The soccer match between the Red Stars and Thorns was exciting and enjoyable. This was my first NWSL game and would definitely recommend the league to everyone.

Loved to see female professional athletes close up with my daughters. The stadium is very nice, facilities clean, staff friendly. Two comments: the parking cost didn't seem to be highlighted so we were surprised and had to leave to go to an ATM before returning to park; and the signage for the entrance to the park and the exit after the game were terrible. But, overall a great experience!

We've been to a few games and love to watch the women play. We had a fan sit close by that was very obnoxious and inappropriate. She kept yelling obscenities and almost ruined the game. I love women's soccer because I love the example these women are for my four daughters. They need to do better about making sure others know these are family friendly events. There was also a very long, poorly timed fireworks show that was a major distraction from the game. We also wish some of the big name players could give autographs to the crowd, not just the VIP's. My girls were a little disappointed to not see Press or Ertz or some of the away team.

I have loved sports in general and soccer in particular since the day I was born, but I have always watched it from the comfort of home. This was the first time in a stadium. The first thing that I noticed is how much smaller those players seam in real life, versus TV, but also how much more physical and fast the game is when you experience it from the stands than from your home couch. The head battles looked really scary, something that you can't tell from the TV. overall it was a very nice experience, apart from the loss of CRS.

Great game. Nice energy and enthusiasm from both the players and the fans. My one complaint would be the fact that Toyota Park did not let people sit on the other half of the stadium. It was extremely hot and sunny and that side was shaded and our side was out in the sun. Also, they need to open up more water fountains. We can only find one

CP, Sophia, Danny and the Red Stars put in a great game! It was hot as heck, wish it was a night game. Many of the players stayed to sign for fans which is awesome.

Game was well played by both teams. We were all herded into one side in the direct sun heat and when I was at mens' games, (Chicago Fire) I always sat on the opposite side which is shaded and more comfortable. Obviously, the women teams do not have as much attendance so everyone is placed on only one side just seems they would have picked the other shaded side and/or had enough concessions open that actually had WATER to sell..how do you run out of water on a summer day soccer game?? In contrast to the Chicago Fire games, this was not as organized in terms of concessions, parking, etc. and a real let down for professional women's teams..

I don't know why we never went to a NWSL soccer match before now. It was simply incredible, and the players go out of their way to accommodate fans after the game. We'll be back!
