Larry the Cable Guy

Larry the Cable Guy brings a hilarity to stand up comedy that most people simply aren’t used to. His southern accent, which he admittedly exaggerates, gives blue collar individuals and everyone else alike a way to relate to this hilarious funnyman. After getting his start by making guest appearances on radio shows, he gained quick fame on the Blue Collar Comedy Tour alongside Jeff Foxworthy, the comedian of “You might be a redneck” fame. Larry went on to have two comedy albums receive gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America.

Larry the Cable Guy is hilarious in movies and on TV, but nothing beats seeing him in person! I haven't laughed that much in a while. Not to mention his opener, Nick Hoff , was about as funny as he was! It's not very often the opening act is that good, but Nick was! We will definitely be going to see him again!!

Get r done truly got r done! My husband and I have alway loved the rednecks from Jeff Foxworthy to Larry. He truly did not dissapoint us and left us laughing from start to finish. Probably the real reason we love him so much is that everything he says we can relate to and is totally believable. His true-to-life stories are hillarious. He says what most of us would not say (politically speaking) and is not afraid to give us his true opinions! We will certainly attend next time as the night was truly worth our time and money!!

We went with our kids and their spouses. We never stopped laughing. He is pure Redneck for sure and that makes him all the more funny. He says what he thinks and he makes fun of everybody/everything regardless of what anybody thinks, and he has his own opinions on almost everything. It was non stop laughter and we loved every minute of the show.

This venue seats about 3,000. State of the art stage, sound and lighting. The opening act was Reno Collier. Very funny. Perfect opening act. He was on about 20 mins and got the crowd ready for Larry. Larry did about 1 hour and 15 mins. Mostly new material. As I said I laughed so much my head hurt. I would recommend seeing Larry in concert. He used a little "colorful" language but not enough to offend. We had the pleasure of meeting him after the show. He was very genuine and gracious.

I loved Larry the Cable Guy. I was in tears from laughing so hard. The only downside for me was I wish our seats were closer. Even on the large TV screens Larry looked pretty tiny. He was just a inch tall spot on the stage from my seat. Audio was great though. The picture I added was taken from our seats in section 230 and zoomed in.

My husband and I drove from East Sacramento area to San Jose for the show - about 3 hr s each way - it was totally worth it - we enjoyed the show so much. The opening perfromers were very good. The surprise appearance of Colt Ford who played a short but killer set for us was a major bonus - what a talented bunch of musicians. Larry was awesome and we literally cried we laughed so hard. We appreciate the fact that while it's definitiely not G rated - it's not too over the top vulgar. No "F" bombs. Thanks Larry. Come back again and maybe look at a Sacramento venue ...there's gotta be more rednecks in Sac than the Bay area ;-)

There were right...go to the bathroom and you'll miss like twenty jokes! He was on his game that night, handled the loud guy in the audience like a pro. Said this was his first show in three weeks so he threw in all the funny he had been saving up. I have seen some of his work on TV and DVD`s and never really got into him alot. My girlfriend talked me into going, she loves Larry`s humor, so I booked tickets and we actually planned our vacation around this event. Well needless to say I laughed so hard I had tears rolling out of my eyes. I missed some jokes because I was laughing so hard at the last ones and didn`t hear them. I wish there was some way that I could hear it all again so I could catch what I missed. He was by far the funniest person I have ever heard and that`s the truth. I would recommend anyone to go see him and would make it a point to see him every chance that comes up. Outstanding and Unbelievable performance.

I originally purchased tickets for Los Lonely Boys for my Ladys B-Day. Not realizing we were going camping during that time, she told me on her B-day that she loved them but we could'nt go. Man did I feel stupid. So knowing she would like to see Larry The Cable Guy I purchased tickets for his show. I went along with her to the show thinking it would be a little boring at best. Larry was about 2 minutes into his routine and gave the audience what they came for, an enthusiastic "Git er done"! The thing I like about Larry is that he's just a normal really nice guy who happens to see and report on the life a huge part of the population lives every day. He doesn't have to go super raunchy or high brow to give everyone a good chuckle. You leave feeling like you had a good time--what more could you want from a night out.

I enjoy watching Larry The Cable Guy but after doing stand-up for so many years, I don't think he has the "fire in the belly" he once had. As a stand-up comic myself, there were several major flaws in his performance. He kept the microphone away from his mouth so at times it was difficult to hear him set up his jokes. When he delivered his punch lines, he lowered his voice or what we call "swallowed his punch lines." Many I could not hear and I was in the 4th row! Perhaps doing 246 shows a year is finally getting the best of him.

It's obvious that Albany loves Larry the Cable Guy and he loves us right back. His laid back delivery and his "Walmart" outfit truly fits his personality. Larry tells jokes that most of us can relate to in one way or the other. He doesn't need distracting props or bells and whistles.

We both felt that the show was funny and knowing that he was a hometown man from Nebraska made it even better...my only problem since I am an old grandmotherly type, is feeling uncomfortable when his jokes were "Welcome to Grand Island, the capitol of Mexico" I wondered how many mexican people were there? Then I think the penis and erection and other jokes were not for youngsters...I know that if you knew Larry the Cable Guy, you knew what to expect...but somehow, wondered if maybe some way you could rate it like a movie...R for raunchy words....otherwise we enjoyed it...my husband listens to him on the Bob and Tom Show on the radio

My wife and I drove all the way to Biloxi from Tallahassee, of course we went hit the casinos. The auditorium was packed, we laughed non-stop for 2 hours, Larry said at one point late into the show, "the show ended 20 minutes ago, I just like ya'll", LOL...He was laughing too. I got the tickets as a surprise for my husband. He was really thrilled...... We had balcony seats. I first thought we was not going to see the show well, but I was wrong. The seats was great, they had big tv screens on left and right, and we could see Larry live very clear. This to me was the most awesomest thing ever. During the show some people went to yelling "we need a doctor, " Larry thought he had made some one mad, he stopped and said "what did you say" they began yelling we need a doctor. a lady was having a seizure, Larry stopped the show. calling for a doctor for the lady. He made sure help got to her. When she was ok, and had ems or who ever went over He then finished his show. To me that showed a real touch of caring and class on his part. I really admire him for that. His love for that lady he did not even know was awesome. We need more people like Larry, He put her above him self. You would never see anyone else do that. You are awesome Larry. Harrah's, i did not like. the machines don't pay out well. You win one or two but you have to put a 5 dollar bill in and it was gone. I like the sound of the quarters hitting the tray in vegas,

Larry was very very funny the laddies around me I thought were going to wet their pants We used to live in Fla in the town where Larry lives now My husband use to see him a lot He worked for Seminole county for 36 yrs He never got to speak to him but Larry always waved We have been told by several people off stage he is very friendly to everyone who meets him I do wish we could have had a chance but we could not belive how many people were there the casino staff did a GREAT job on getting everyone back down to the casinoin a short time. We will be back in the spring as we do not like to drive in snow or ice Thank you for a WONDERFUL weekend

Nick Hoff opened the show and was amazingly good. I would have like for him to go longer. Larry was hilarious and did an awesome job. Would recommend if you would like to laugh.
