Local H is just incredible. The tickets are so cheap and yet the show is so good. They played for like 3 hours and were just great. My only complaint (and this goes with virtually all concerts I've seen) is that it's just too loud. I had concert earplugs in, but they unfortunately muffle treble which also made it harder to hear what Scott was saying in between songs. Still an awesome concert, though, and I'm glad I got to see them once again.

A great night it was like seeing the band in their early years with the small club. Scott was even selling the Merch.

The show was great, and Scott Lucas and Brian St. Clair are so down to earth that it really makes their followers appreciate everything they do. For just a two-man-band they not only have superb power and charisma in their music, but also a fantastic repertoire of licks, riffs, and lyrics. It amazes me that Local H doesn't get more recognition, their music is well worthy of it. But above all it is clear that Scott and Brian do this because they love it. If you are a grunge fan you have to appreciate what they can bring.

Great set! Great intensity! Even a great opening act (The Weeks)! Scott & Bryan blow it up every time I've seen them, and this show was no exception. There's no mailing in it for the power duo - the H has been cranking it with real emotion and mo' real rock for 20 years, and they have not slowed down. One of my favorite bands and one of the best live acts you'll EVER see.

Big fan and avid follower, so I'm biased, but Local H put on another excellent performance. They were plenty loud, tight as hell, and sounded great, despite his voice bein' a bit banged up (it sort of added positively to their sound, really). I highly recommend seeing them perform if you're a fan of early or mid-90s rock music. They offer an excellent sound, well-written songs, and a personal experience (when the show's literally just finished, scott lucas hops off stage, walks thru the crowd to the back where he then sells merchandise and talks to fans). It's their "Greatest Hits" tour where they're playing their singles, meaning you'll hear their great, popular songs, but probably not the lesser-known, potentially better ones.

Scott Lucas and Brian St Clair are the ultimate rock duo!!!!! These guys created a "classic rock" song with Buffalo Trace . . . they are from Chicago and are always happy to play at home!!!! Been to several shows and am always happy to hear them live because half of the riffs are not on the CD!!!! I will always make it to the front row cause it's worth not being able to hear for a couple of days!!!! These guys absolutely rock and keep their tickets reasonably priced after soooo many years of touring! They still sell their own merchandise so even new fans can have a chance to meet them after the shows!!!

These two men sound better with one guitar and a drum set than most bands do with five or more members. How does Scott Lucas do all that with just one guitar???? They gave it their all and they sounded great! I've always liked Local H's music and now that I've seen them live, I've even more impressed. If you like this band, you HAVE to see them live!

The opening band, Left Brain Heart, was a nice surprise. They sounded a lot like Local H, which strangely came as a surprise since most of the opening bands I've heard lately have not sounded like the band they're supporting. Local H started off the show by having an audience member pick an album out of a hat, then they played "Whatever Happened..." from beginning to end. The music was phenomenal. I am still a little bummed that they only played one song from 12 Angry Months.

Local H was amazing. It's amazing how well they perform after 20+ years. The acoustics were pretty good, though very loud, unsurprisingly. The opening band wasn't very good in my opinion, but they could have been worse. I'm extremely glad I went.

They didn't play their 2 biggest hits "Bound For The Floor" or "Eddie Vedder". It was also one of the only concerts I have seen where there was no encore. However, they did play an hour and a half set. The song selection was my main complaint. As advertised on the "6 Angry records tour, they picked an album out of a hat and played it in its entirety. That was fine bc it was "Pack up the Cats"...one of their best. But the songs after that weren't very good. They did play "Half-Life" and "High Fiving Mfer" but they played "Hey Rita" (which I hate) and 3 or 4 songs from the new record that I don't like. For the price, I can't really complain, but I wish I didn't have to drive 7 hours round trip for an average at best concert.

Local H put on a tremendous show last night at the Masquerade. We were pleasantly surprised with their opening act Kinch. There sound was very accessible and catchy, and they put on a nice live performance. Locah H's concept of playing an album live in it's entirety turned out to be quite enjoyable. They blew off the roof with a sizzling performance of "Pack up the Cats", and followed that by playing songs from each of their other albums. This was my fifth time seeing H, and they have yet to disappoint!

They open slowly, ramp it up, slow it down a second, play a couple fan favs, a few off the new one, a couple heavy deep ones, then pound it in your ear short and sweet for a couple rounds. Break. Come out and play a couple awesome cover tunes and finish with their first hit and a "new" one that they have been playing more of lately. Fan or not, these guys are awesome. They mix it up, taunt the crowd, work them into a frenzy and always leave them wanting more. This is by far the best band you can see live these days. Period. Throw in the price of their shows, always hanging in bars which suits them and their music(seeing them open for Creed or STP is a different experience), and you can't go wrong. This show was a blast of energy that was thrown right at you and hardly stopped to collect your thoughts or your breath. Not that they cared bout either.

I've come to expect a great show from Local H and I was not disappointed. I arrived late so I did not see Husdrops. I did see Wickerman. They were pretty good. I had never seen them before and I did enjoy. However the singer really needs to stop spitting while on stage. That is a pet peeve of mine.

One of their best shows ever, this was easily Local H's best set since their odd new albums. Still hate most of the new songs, but there was a great mix of old and new. Everything played fully. Openers were annoying.

I've been a fan of Local H for 14+ years, but have never had the chance to see them live. They played a wide variety of songs, many of which were hits but also some of their deeper cuts. Kicked off with Fritz's Corner, and then we were off to the races. My ears still hurt. Excellent. The energy was off the charts. At the end of the show, Scott fell into the crowd and was carried around the venue. As soon as he was deposited back on stage, he hopped off and made a bee line to the merch stand, where he dutifully met with and spoke to everyone who lined up to meet him.

This is probably my 12th Local H show. They are consistently the most passionate and awesome live band I've seen. Scott Lucas always makes sure to bring the rock and give the fans what they want. The new drummer, Ryan, performed even better than I expected and he fills a very tough spot left by Brian St. Clair. Great job, Ryan! This band deserves to be so much more famous than it is. Everytime I turn a friend onto them, they become hooked. I can't wait to see Local H again soon.

There is NO louder, hard-rocking power duo in music...Scott & Brian played for two hours with NO breaks and kicked the collective asses of everybody in the Hell section of the Masquerade. They played about half the songs on their upcoming album (all of which were incredible!) and a lot of old favorites, plus an explosive Rush cover. Always worth the drive, the money and the time. About 15 bucks for one of the most bad-ass rock shows you'll ever see.

I saw Local H at their sold-out show in Columbus, and I was blown AWAY. The opening band in Columbus, however, was shaky and didn't get halfway decent for many songs. In Cincinnati, the Taft Theater is an amazing and large space. Highly recommended for any basement rock shows. Local H was great again in Cincy! The opening band was a better band than the one in Columbus, but it was definitely different stuff.

I felt that Local H did not play up to their normal standards. I have seen this band play in many other cities over the past years and felt that their performance here in Columbus this time was just mediocre at best. It almost felt like they didn't really want to be here and they were just playing because they had a committment to keep. If it wasn't for the opening act I would not have rated this event 3 stars. Thank goodness there was a strong opening act/band.

Tuesday night I went back in time to 1996 and saw LOCAL H perform in small bar/ music hall in Boston. Local H, was one of those bands I fell in love with in the 90's and instantly became a super fan. I have seen Local H live several times and this two man power house of a band fronted by, Scott Lucas (lead vocals/guitar) and Brian St. Clair (drums) never ever disappoints!!!! I was so excited to be front and center at the show with my hips to the stage. Not to many chicks would get right up there in 3 inch wedges but i did and I would not have had it any other way. I can still rock with the best of them. It was a killer performance!!! I love that Local H still performs and keeps it real by preforming in smaller venues. Local H continues put on one hell of a show and I look forward to their next album and seeing them again and again live!!!! xo
