I am a Fan. I ve seen crystal 8 times. Every concert is heartfelt and intimate. Her song writing talent is incredible, her voice is pure beauty. Sings mostly her songs but they are all great and you don t need to be familiar with them.

That Girl Can Sing! Her rendition of Bobby Magee gave me goosebumps! Her whole perforemance could have been with just her and her guitar and it would have been perfect! Congrats to her for being cast as Patsy Cline on broadway! Crystal was very accommedating and gracious at the meet and greet after the show. If you haven't seen her and she is coming to a venue near you I highly recommend going to see her. Go Crystal!!

Crystal Bowersox in Napa CA at the Uptown Theater was a small intimate venue. She connects with her fans in the most gracious way, she is true and real! Her voice is simply flawless! Her sound was amazing, her personality shines on the stage through her music. This is a true performer! No fake lip syncing, no stupid dancers, or unnecessary chatter like you see in bigger name shows. This is Crystal, raw in her own element on her stage!! I will travel to see her again and again -she made me a true fan and I will follow her to the end of the earth!

The weather was poor so it could only get better; it did! The Uptown theater lends itself to a feeling of closeness with a personal touch to the entertainer. There are NO bad seats. You are able to see the interactions between the band and the Entertainer, hear the subtleties between the audience and those on stage. Crystal is a musical talent who draws on the setting we were in. She has been cast to play Patsy Cline and that is no surprise. She is the modern day Patsy Cline with a modern day sound! You should make her a 'must' on your list.

The Napa Uptown was a great theater, I would for sure see other events here. Crystal Bowersox had an amazing evening. Her delivery was spot on, and she was very humble. I would see her again in a heartbeat. Her opening band reminded me of New Order back in the day and i loved that they came back out and were her back up band... Fantastic!

Crystal sang each song with feeling and enthusiasm; genuinely appreciative of the warm response delivered by her home town fans. She even took time to acknowledge a sign-toting fan and led the crowd in "Happy Birthday To You." While most of the songs were unknown to me, the evening was moving as Crystal brought a local School for the Arts on stage for a song and recognition to the role arts has played in her life. Thank you, Crystal, for a wonderful Sunday evening of music & reflections.

Crystal put on a great show and the new album material is spectacular. I went ahead and preordered it already. She threw in a cover of Hallelujah and one track, "Holy Toledo", from her debut album . The venue was a nice surprise. It's small, intimate, friendly staff and has killer acoustics!

Crystals concert at the Sinclair was nothing short of amazing. The feeling and emotion in which she delivers her astounding vocals, made this concert on that will never be forgotten. She is a true storyteller, and a true artist. The venue was very nice, sound system was good, however, the crowd that evening dictated a pub seating arrangement and the management dropped the ball on this. The mez should have been opened with VIP seating on the floor with a waitstaff....I understand that this would have not been possible with a full house. Overall, a perfect night. We traveled 200 miles and did the whole Cambridge tourest thing just for that 50 minutes with Crystal. Monte Mar was also outstanding, excellent musicianship and great tracks!

Powerful, tender, soulful. Bowersox's voice is unique, all her own. She managed to keep me enthralled in spite of acoustical issues at the SeaGate. Her encore "Hallelujah" gave me goosebumps. I thank her for introducing her new songs, which resonate with me. Would love to see her in the Patsy Cline Broadway play after her tour.

This was an excellent concert featuring new songs to appear on an upcoming album, to be dropped later this month. She also put in some favorites, such as "Me and Bobby McGee,' while delivering an breathtaking version of "Alleluia." Having her favorite bass player on stage for a few numbers was a real treat too. I see about a half dozen concerts annually and this was one of the best.

What a voice and performance. She has so much talent. Not only her singing but writing talents as well. I'm so proud to know she is a local musician making her way and will be on broadway playing Patsy Cline. I think she will rock the stage whatever she does. I laud her for supporting the school she attended and is helping others reach their potential. It speaks of a deeper soul that is finding it's way out in so many ways. The only negative comment was the people behind us were whistling so enthusiastically that it distracted from out enjoyment of the performance.

A bit disappointing in the song selection....She chose to do, I believe, her entire new upcoming cd---songs no one was familiar with but her and the band....only played one from her past cd, 'Holy Toledo"......of course--here in Toledo.....and a signature, 'Me and Bobby Mcgee' .....The crowd did not get into the music at all....because it was so unfamiliar, being new. She'd better change up her song selection---at least half should be ones people are familiar with...from her first cd. Other than that--she looked good and sounded good, and the band- Monte Mar---was excellent.....young and very talented. Toledo bassist Frankie May kicked A.....as usual.

Bowersox and her opening act were absolutely spectacular! Of course third row seats in front of the singer with an onion and Pete if you did not hurt in anyway! It's been wonderful following her from American Idol hoping she would've one but in my heart she one anyways! Love that Steve Seskin was a surprise opening act and that he played the right amount of time. I get a bit annoyed when an opener plays for an hour and especially when they are not all that good. LOVE Steve. Have him back sometime. Now for the main show. She was INCREDIBLE! I love that she is a singer songwriter and had stories about some of the songs. It would be great to have an evening with a few singer songwriters. Maybe Crystal, Steve and Alan Shambling. Overall the best music night for the money!!! Love the venue, it is so comfortable and getting to have a glass of beer or wine is terrific. Also, the sound is fantastic. I LOVE you guys. THANKS!

Crystal is a genuinely open and honest performer. She was engaging with the audience, she played her heart out. She was accompanied with one other person who played bass, electric and sang very well. Her vocals are amazing and she belts out some incredible tunes... happy I saw her. She signed autographs after the show - she was out there quickly. She took no photos though...

Excellent concert. She has come a long way since her American Idol days. I think you will see her for many years to come. Beautiful voice, excellent song choices. She performed with one other person, a bass player. The songs were powerful, her voice beauiful. I am one 63 year old who will certainly see her again. As a matter of fact, my wife is in Idaho this week on business and purchased tickets to see her on 02/26/15.

This event was at the Uptown Theatre in Napa. I would thoroughly recommend going to this location. This was my second time seeing Crystal in concert and she did not disappoint. The opening act was okay but I did not know there was an opening act! I would have been fine with just Crystal. She is a very personable and friendly performer who comes across as honest and real with a wonderful voice and excellent guitar skills. She had a fellow performer accompany her on bass, guitar and vocals who impressed me with her talents. Last time I saw her she had a back up band and I preferred her show this time. Well worth going to see.

Caught her show this past Friday in Hartford Connecticut at Infinity Hall. It was an acoustic set with her and her gal bass player. The music was tight and well-played, the vocals were filled with soul and life. She mentioned that she had been sick over the past couple of days, and apologized for some rasp in her voice, but really if anything, it almost added to the vibe. (remember John Lennon in twist and shout?) Got to meet her after the show for a quick autograph and we told her how much we enjoyed the show and one of the new releases - it was called "honey one".. or something to that effect... ( I think she has a winner with that one as she works through it) She was very gracious and attentive, despite not feeling her best. You are in for a great show if you go see her! Who was thinking what when she didn't win idol is beyond me, but maybe she is better off for all of that. Opening act ws Caroline Glaser - very pretty voice, nice. Cant wait to see Ms. Bowersox again!

We had great seats for Crystal she has an amazing voice and we felt all th emotion of each song. Our favorite part was the accoustic songs with just Crystal. She is a very talented songwriter. Loved "Stiches" among many others she wrote and sang. The encore of Joplin's Another Little Piece of My Heart was AMAZING. I am hoping the "hint" she taled about is the lead in Joplin on Broadway or a movie about Joplin.

My husband is the big fan. He has followed CB since her American Idol days. Crystal looked and sounded fantastic. I was very impressed with her backup band, especially the keyboard/sax/clarinet player. I was just disappointed that a town the size of Cincy couldn't fill the 20th Century.

Saw her at Harlow's in Sacramento on Friday. Were so pleased with her show that we decided to book seats in Napa on Saturday. We were able to get two of the few left. Even though the seats were in the last row of the balcony, the show was fantastic. The difference between the two venues was so different in what was delivered to the audience. In no way is this a reflection on Crystal. Having a venue designed for concerts and a mixer on site made a tremendous difference in the performance. You could actually hear the words and the extraordinary quality of her voice. Powerful vocals, charming personality and cute as a button, and they are pretty cute!

Crystal Bowersox has a voice that is so awesome it is like an instrument itself. She has so much range and is very bluesy and soulful!! Her songs from her 1st cd went over well, such songs were farmers daughter, and my favorite Holy Toledo. She ended the night with the Janis Joplin cover Me and Bobby maghee, brought down the house,it was awesome!!

I loved Crystal from first seeing her on American Idol. She came in second, but should have won. She's extremely talented, while at the same time being a down-to-earth person, warm and friendly. She performed extremely well at this concert. I loved her entire concert. I could have done without the opening act though. They were quite good and entertaining, but not good enough to keep me from wanting Crystal to come on as soon as possible. Crystal was the best I've seen her. I saw her two years before at Uptown and it was great, but she's at a new level now that makes her even better. Her spirit is soaring and she's exploding with positive energy. And after the show she came out and signed CD's, and was very gracious and warm, which was a great way to end the experience. I definitely recommend going to see her. I think she has elements from several genre's, from rock, to blues, to "Americana", and even a bit of country in there too.

Crystal never disappoints! Her musicianship and voice are stellar, and her personality is very engaging. You always feel like you're listening to an incredibly talented friend perform. I will continue to follow her career closely and will try to catch shows whenever and wherever I can. The opening act , David Luning and Ben Dubin, was also very entertaining and a good choice.

Crystal's performance was outstanding, if you like folk songwriter type music treat yourself to an evening of beautiful music. This was my third time attending one of her shows and by far the best. She has honed her craft and is worthy of large crowds.

Though this was a small venue and far to few people that Crystal deserved to have there the show was outstanding. In these days of over the top stage performances, Bowersox shows you don't need the frills to deliver a great show. Good mix of old and new songs with lots of interaction with the audience.

An Absolutely FANTASTIC show. This young lady with a "soulful" voice was on-stage for almost 3 hours. She has a warm and intimate way of connecting with the audience. Will definitely visit with her at another of her concerts! The repertoire of her written and co-written songs were an amazing story telling of life (hers and others human experiences).

My boyfriend and I attended to celebrate both of our April birthdays. She was incredible as were her mandolin player and STEVE. We were mesmerized by her vocals and grounding spirit. We only wish we could have gone behind the scenes to meet her in person. Awesome show.

My wife and I were blown away by this unassuming little girl from a farm in Ohio. She is constantly fiddling with her guitar to make sure it's tuned correctly and she actually asks the audience "are you enjoying this so far?". With standing ovations one after the other she was quickly convinced. Her style is a mix of country, blues, jazz and rock. There are a lot of people who claim that their music is a mixture of styles but after Bowersox's first song there is no doubt that blending these styles makes for a dynamite performance. Most of the songs she performs are originals that are written by her and she clues the audience in about where, why and how the song was written. She is an excellent song writer and and performs with such integrity and genuine emotion that you become part of the song. Bravo Crystal, we will buy your albums and come see when whenever you are close, thank you. Mike & Kathy

She was one of my favorite contestants on American Idol. I had no idea what her concert would be like and it is fun to support new artists and I was really glad i did. The Amateur theater is an intimate theater and all seats are good. Her voice is so beautiful. She sang all her own ballots all from her personal experiences. She introduced each song and advised she is glad she is making money with music as she s*^ks as a waitress! She finished with a Janis Joplin song and proved once more that she has an amazing set of pipes! Come out and see for yourself you will be glad you did.

One of the best concerts I have ever seen. The venue was perfect, the audience was appreciative and there was not one minute of the two hour performance that was not incredible, even when Crystal's dog ran on stage. Crystal is such a wonderful performer with stories to tell about each song and a total appreciation for her audience. Not only was her voice incredible, her guitar playing and the addition of the mandolin made the set so mellow and yet raw at times. Add to this the fact that Crystal signed autographs afterwards, proves she is an artist who appreciates her fans. Will definitely attend another concert by Crystal. She may have gotten her start on American Idol, but small venues such as the concert hall in Broward County is where Crystal belongs and are best at showing off her talent. She is audience driven and I can't imagine any audience who won't be riveted to their seats when she is on stage. This is, by far, one of the best concert values I have ever experienced.

The opening act, Steve Seskin, was very funny and wrote emotional songs. Crystal was awesome along with her back up singer/bassist, Rachel Coats. Loved the stripped down versions of her songs. Go see her this tour!

Crystal was a little keg of dynamite, what a truly talented and gifted performer. The opening act was entertaining. The young lady who was accompanying Crystal on bass (Rachel) was very good. Miss Bowersox is an ingenue that comes along only once every decade. Patsy Cline, Janis Joplin and Carole King all rolled into one. Not only is her voice tender, powerful and soulful, her guitar playing is spot on and her songwriting is top shelf. I've only seen a performer leave their all on the stage one time prior to this show, it was Rory Gallagher back in the 80's. Another unexpected treat was getting to meet Crystal in person after the show. She was as genuine, humble, approachable and appreciative as anyone you will ever find. Do yourself a favor and take in one of Crystal's shows, you will not be disappointed.
