It's so refreshing to listen to music that doesn't involve themes of degeneracy. David is such a delight, his audience was such a bunch of sweet people. And his musicians we such professionals.

My first David Cassidy performance and the first time to the rocking, intimate BB King's Bar and Grill. This was the perfect venue.

If it were college, we had planned to major in David Cassidy and minor in Davy Jones; but we left switching our major. Davy was unbelievably great. He had the crowd completely warmed up and ready for David, and then David let the crowd down like an anchor on a ship. While Davy kept the crowd entertained and moved along pretty well, David raised false hopes with starts and stops that never ended. And the jokes about how bad he is only set himself up to be perceived as bad! Stop with the negative talk David! While overall it was a very enjoyable evening, you shouldn't leave a David Cassidy concert with a Cream song running through your head.

Davy Jones was adorable and had a great show. David Cassidy is still very talented, but make some unusual choices last night. It seemed as if more that just water was in the bottle he kept gulping out of all night. He also kept apologizing for things. Loved his songs and he still makes great music though.

David Cassidy as a headliner was a joke. He bragged about not rehearsing - and boy should he have! His guitar didn't work, he forgot the words to a John Lennon song and he did NO encor. I would never pay to see him again. Davey Jones was much better (but then again that's not saying a whole lot)

I Thought Davey Jones was more entertaining. David Cassidy did not sing enough enough of his songs or any from Partridge Family. He just sang some sons from the sixties. Also he took too much time up to introduce members of his band, unlike Davey Jones. Also, there were some sound system problems with the guitars. He kept emphasizing Dallas, Texas even though the venue was in Grand Prairie. He should of just mentioned Metroplex, which covers the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Davy Jones act weas professional, entertaining, and he knew his target audience. His band was superb. He was entertaining from start to finish. It brought back some great memories. David Cassidy, on the other hand, never seemed to get off the ground. He is personable, likable, and he, too, had a great band, but, his "I'm winging it" show looked a little like he was not quite ready to perform. He had a lot of technical problems that I feel weren't his fault. I think he'd do better to hone an act, and give the crowd a little more of the old stuff. He's a talented man. I'm glad I got a chance to see him.

I saw he and Davy Jones Sat, Feb 6, 2010 in Dallas, Tx. Davy Jones did OK, but David Cassidy was JUST BAD!!!!! I don't know any other way to put it. He came out and sang a few songs. He made excuses for his instrument malfunctions. He tried to play a few Beatles songs and kept apologizing for his mistakes and kept saying this sucks. I've been to a lot of concerts in my days and this ranks up there with the worst. He talked more than he played music. After being their for more than 3 hours listening to Davy Jones and then David Cassidy I asked my family if we could leave. It would have been better if they would just come out and sing what we the customers came to hear their music and hits. We got up and left. I was very disappointed and felt i did not get my money's worth. Going to a lot of concerts thru the years its been a long time when I left a concert saying to myself "Why did I do that?" and "I sure would liked to have had that money back!!!!" I feel your better off playing their old CD's than paying your hard earned money to come listen to the product their selling!!!

Davy was the true showman, connected with the fans on so many levels. Great until his wife performed. It was a show killer. lost it's nostalgic and entertainment factor, nothing against her performance, but, you could feel the wind being sucked out of the theatre. Stepping stone was the appropriate song at that moment, that's the first thing everyone I talked to was saying. Gold-digger using the show as a stepping stone to further her career. could have went without the sex jokes with his darling wife. there were young kids in the audience. Killed the night for me. David Cassidy, performance was also a testiment to his showmanship. even with the technical difficulties either self induced or mechanical it was a great trip down memory lane, and helped you realize that they are just people sharing with you the talent God gave them. Overall a good show, wished David could have played and sang more tunes from the partridge family show but left happy to have been able to see the show and that is what counts.

Went expecting to hear the songs that made him famous. And heard to much talking. And too much other singers songs. The prefromance was not smooth. Seemed off. I know that the stage was not right. Electric problems, guitor, Ect. But this does not release him off for bad prefromance. Finally left one hour into the show. On the other hand Davy Jones was very good.

Davy Jones was the delightful surprise of the evening. He and his band were engaging as they played tunes from Davy's show days or The Monkees. Davy cracked "age: jokes left and right and was truly hilarious. His dancing was fun, and he was the true professional giving the fans every bit of show he could give. David Cassidy's fans were probably a little perplexed during his performance. He explained that his show was mostly unrehearsed. With technical difficulties popping up throughout his time on stage (and his apologies for said difficulties), it was hard to feel a rhythm to his show. He shined with his signature voice and personality on his hits he chose to sing, especially right at the end on "I Think I Love You".

FABULOUS! I LOVED it. DAVID CASSIDY IS AWESOME. Despite the technical difficulties he was having, he was amazing! Loved love loved it and him. I wish the sound hadn't gone all wacky on him, he was obviously frustrated and I can only imagine how much more amazing he might have been without the frustration, but still he was SO WONDERFUL. Thanks for letting us up to the stage at the end - I will NEVER forget being so close to my first childhood teen idol crush! The memories flooded back all night. Hearing him sing "Summer Days" was worth every cent! Although I went for David Cassidy, Davy Jones was great too. He was SO funny and I really enjoyed hearing all the old monkee tunes! Bottom line - I had a WONDERFUL time and would go again in a heartbeat! LOVED IT

Davy Jones talked a little too much but overall it was a very fun and entertaining show. I would recommend it to any Monkey's fan and throughly enjoyed myself. David had a much better and stronger voice than I realized and I loved all his songs. He had a great disadvantage as his sound system kept messing up but he dealt with it gracefully and was a complete professional. I would like to see his show again when everything runs smoothly!

David Cassidy brings out the teeny bobber that lives in me. I was so in love in with him. He did not dissappoint me. David did show me a side of him I was not aware of. I did know he was a seriuos musican but really did not know that he had such a range. And one song he showed off his ability to play the guitar. This is my second time to see David in person and this time I was able to appreciate more then just his teen idol songs. There were technical difficulties that took away from the show. However, he seemed to handle them well and how many get to see his turn a guitar on stage.

Two consumate performers who enjoy their audience and know how to interactive. When the voices on stage sound as good as on CD--tha's talent. I have seen David Cassidy before, and he is an AMAZING performer. However, from the moment he stepped onto the stage for his set, he had sound problems. The audience could hear feedback, as he obviously also did, during the ENTIRE performance. Clearly, David Cassidy was angered by the incompetency of the sound staff/technicians. It is a shame that his otherwise excellent performance was marred by sound issues, which were obviously never resolved. When I attended another concert of his, in New Jersey, the sound quality, etc., was so much better, despite the fact that the Nokia Theater is a much larger venue. I will NEVER attend another concert at this location.

I am one of the 50 something crowd that was excited about seeing David Cassidy for the first time as I was a Partridge fan. I have seen Davy Jones twice as a Monkey and was pleaseed with his charm, wit and humor. What I saw was a very good show by Jones whom I expected less from and a very unprofessional farce from Cassidy whom I expected a lot more from. I have seen and heard better garage bands than Cassidy's. They were disorganized and looked as if they threw something together at the last minute. When he sang Cherish, I wasn't sure what song the band was playing. I took my wife and 2 lady friends and was embarrassed for him. If it were not for Davy Jones giving us an hour and a half of a fine opening act, I think myself and many others would be demanding a refund. Both performers looked good and at times Cassidy could sound good.

The show opened with Davy Jones and there was no disappointment there. It was a walk through memory lane. He added humor, a few jokes among the music and he was as charming as ever. His best joke, "I once was a heart throb but now I'm a coranary." Cute! David Cassisdy on the other hand was a flop. We were trying to figure out what was going on with his show and so was he. He made comments throughout the show that they don't know what they were doing... and they didn't. There was more talking on stage about what they'll do next than true entertaining. Guitar wasn't tune so spent a few minutes there joking about it.

We travelled from UK to Las Vegas to see our idol from our teenage years. He was absolutely dreadful- he was late onto the stage to start with and then was rambling, swaying, slurring and couldn't sing either. We were so disgusted we left after 20 minutes. A lifelong dream shattered! Don't know if he was drunk or on drugs but he should not have been allowed on stage.

Excellent seats - pd for VIP - but didn't receive VIP benefits. David said all the right things including how much he appreciated his fans for over 49 years - but would not meet us, sign an autograph, or just spend 1 minute with the fans. He struggled with songs at times, balance was off at times - so sad - I have always loved his music and always will - but he is not up to performing live. Some people did leave early - most of us stayed until the end. Bless him - hope he is able to get rest and support needed.

I don't know who is giving this show 5 stars, maybe blinded women reliving their youth or people paid to write reviews, but this show on 2/17/17 at the Golden Nugget was a train wreck. I see a lot of 'oldies' shows and you give them some slack for age, miles, Vegas air is dry, etc., but his voice was terrible, blaming it on the tail end of a cold, but I'm not buying it - his whole range was shaky & off key. He spends much of the evening talking about himself and just rambling on and on with these long stories that are barely relevant to the song. He bored me to death taking me down HIS memory lane, instead of leading me down MY memory lane. Easily 1/3 of the venue walked out before it was over. I stayed to the bitter end. He only played about 8-10 songs in 1.5 hours & only 3 were his. The rest was technical difficulties, incessant sweat wiping, and talk and talk and talk. Go see the other 1-star reviews, they are a much more accurate indication of what you'll see. DO NOT waste your money - keep your teenie bopper awesome memories of David in tact.

I went to see David Cassidy Up Close and personal on Saturday June 25th at the NJ PAC. Having seen him in person several times, I have to say this was one of his better performances. It was very electrifying! Everyone was having a great time, he sounds better than ever! During the show David engaged the fans directly, he interacted them and let them come up to show him posters and albums and other memorabilia they collected over the years. One fan even brought him flowers! One woman also brought up a G-string and he stared to laugh; he said that he would accept them only if they were not worn! He spoke about his time on the Partridge Family and about his father and about growing up in New York and Jersey and he also talked about Davy Jones, BB King and John Lennon. Overall this was a terrific show and I'll go back to see him the next time around! Sincerely, Joey

David Cassidy gave a great performance. He engaged with the audience and talked about his songs and his life growing up in NJ. Since we were seeing him in NJ, it was enjoyable to hear him talk about our state and his treasured memories. He explained which other legends inspired his love of music and his stories were interesting to listen too. David's voice sounded great and his band was equally as good too. I really enjoyed hearing him perform his hits and some songs from that era. As a teenager I could have only wished to see my idol. Now at 50 something, I can say I have finally done it!

What a great show. He sang many of the "Partridge Family" favorites we came to hear, plus some other gems. Great banter. So fun being in a crowd who appreciated his music. Not sure if David would be happy to hear that he is still Keith Partridge, but it is certainly a compliment. Fun evening of reminiscing and music. He's as handsome as ever and loved the photos posted over the evening. He still sounds great and had a talented back up band. I Think I (Still) Love You....David. Only complaint is the show was too short. Only an hour and a half......many more Partridge Family hits could have been sung.

David Cassidy was just awesome. He sang solid and it was a fantastic show. His band is top notch. I had never seen him in person till now and to hear the range in his voice go from that sexy breathy sound to the strong tones was unbelievable. He is a total showman and I only wish I could have seen him in Vegas years earlier. I can not wait till he comes back to Cleveland. Check out his video on youtube singing Hollywood Nights. Been a David Cassidy fan ever since he was on The Partridge Family, and this was my first time to see him live. He's a great entertainer, gets the audience involved in the show, and is very appreciative of his audience. His voice has only gotten stronger over the years. He sang many of his (and PF) hits, plus songs from some of his favorite artists. The venue was intimate, and there really are no bad seats. My only disappointment was that the show was too short (one hour isn't enough if you're a DC fan), and there was no encore. Will definitely try to see him again next year if he's touring.

My three sisters and I went to see David Cassedy a/k/a Keith Partridge and had a fun, memorable time! David sounded great; interacted with his fans and played a nice mix of old hits as well as paid homage to John Lennon, Davey Jones and BB King. And might I add, he plays a mean guitar. The band was great too! When I got up the next morning, I found an old Partridge Family CD and listened to it while drinking my morning coffee and sang along to those old songs. I still remember all the lyrics. It's as if time stood still...took me right back to my childhood pretending to be the Partridge Family in the basement of my childhood home. I got a little choked up watching David up on stage. Thanks for the memories!!!

As a person who grew up on weekly doses of The Partridge Family, I really wanted to attend this concert and I'm so glad that I did. David Cassidy gave a great performance, was very interactive with the audience, and sang a nice variety of songs I remembered from years past and others in honor of other singers (including B.B. King and Davy Jones). David and his band were fun to watch and sing along with. David can still belt out those songs - and it was wonderful to hear. I was a bit disappointed he didn't do an encore, even after the crowd kept calling his name. We hoped he would come back out, but he didn't. That was a little bit of a letdown, but it was the only one of the night. I am glad that the projection screens in the Hard Rock Live theater had a great variety of photos of David then and now. It made me smile to see the photos!

The David Cassidy show was just as awesome as I had anticipated. My best friend and I had 4th row seats so that made the show that much more unforgettable. David not only sang his Partridge Family hits but he also sang songs from other artists that he idolized such as BB King, Davy Jones, John Lennon and his father Jack Cassidy. David shared many stories with the audience which was awesome. There were two instances when he spoke directly to certain audience members. David has risen from the financial and legal woes that have plagued him and he put on an excellent show. He made the audience feel as if he really "cherised" us. I will definitely go see him again if he is ever in my area. I have loved him since the Partridge Family days and I will continue to idolize him.

Took my wife to see David Cassidy on a whim ! The show was pretty good, it moved along nicely, the band was very professional and sounded great. There were 2 large screens that showed past images of David, the Partridge Family, and some of his past associations with other influences in his life. The only MAJOR drawback, was that NO encore was given, despite the loud chanting of the audience. I could see the disappointment in many faces. I knew there would not be an encore from reading previous reviews, so, if going to see David in the future, please don't expect one. The show lasts a little over an hour.

David Cassidy was drunk. His voice is okay but he was off key and flat most of the time. He said he had a cold but was clearly drunk. There were moments that he was entertaining. I had always wanted to see David Cassidy live since I watched the Partridge family as a kid. It was disappointing to see him drunk.

David Cassidy has still got it. At 65 he still gets fans to scream and shout the minute he comes on stage. His show is full of energy and the joy he clearly experiences when he is performing is contagious. Lots of Partridge Family songs from the old days, but also John Lennon, BB King and Cole Porter. This is a show you don't want to miss!

I thought he was good, not great. A little over the top gushing, a little overenthusiastic(phony). The moving hips at times were creepy-too old for that stuff! He and the band played their hearts out though, and looked like they were having a good time. Overall, nice evening out, but wouldn't go see him again. Also, had read interview with him in the paper the day before, and he said the same exact things on stage that he said in the interview. Everyone disappointed he didn't do an encore.....
My sister and I decided to see David when he came to the Birchmere in Alexandria Virginia and were hugely disappointed. I really do not think David understands why people come to see him. He spends much of the evening talking about himself and taking you down his memory lane, instead of leading you down your memory lane. The show could have started out with him coming on stage and leading a massive sing along of "Come On Get Happy" which the fans would have LOVED, but instead he came onstage and turned it into a jazz version that made no sense. He talked and talked and talked about meeting BB King and "teaching" John Lennon his (John's) songs because they were both "drunk as skunks" on New Years Eve. His show was like, "Look at me people, I'm great!" Don't tell us how Davey Jones' kids call you(!!) Uncle David and then give a fake wiping away of a fake tear at the end of one of "Day Dream Believer". It was a show I believe, of an very insecure man. He referred to himself as an artist, but the truth is that he's a manufactured TV personality who doesn't rightly understand who and what he is to the people that come to see him. I believe he'd be much happier if he came on stage and leads his audience back to 1969 when we were all kids or tinnie boppers with David Cassidy posters who couldn't wait for Friday night, and didn't have a care in the world. Sing the Partridge Family songs. Sing the Monkey's songs. Maybe, dare I say it, sing a Brady Bunch song and let's have fun for a night being a kid again. Sing the feel-good songs of our childhood. Again, he needs to take the audience down their memory lane and not his. He needs to stop implying how great he is and how famous people wrote songs for him. Stop it David. I think if you listen to what I'm writing, you will be much much happier on stage and have a much better time. I highly doubt that anyone who saw you at this show will ever see you again
I cannot say anything to the contrary of it was so exciting and fun! I have seen him in concert since 1971. Even with a cold, he pulled it off. The show must go on.
Had GREAT FRONT ROW SEATS. He looked and seemed to be very happy. He looked at me a number of times and I got him to smile! I took many great photos of David and the Band performing.
First time seeing David in concert and it was incredible. His voice is still amazing and can still make you melt. The show ran a pretty good length of time. Between playing guitar most of the show, drumming for a song, making sure he covered all of the stage, and still hitting those great notes, I was so impressed. I will definitely be looking forward to the next time he comes to town.
David Cassidy's performance at the Birchmere Sunday night was amazing. I first saw him in 1972 at the Garden State Arts Center in Holmdel,New Jersey when he was a 22-year-old teen idol wearing a tight, white, laced-down-in-the-front one-piece jumpsuit with long hair, baby-soft skin, dreamy eyes, and sex appeal that wouldn't quit. I left that concert, face tear-stained and without a voice because I spent 90 minutes standing in my seat screaming, "David, I LOVE YOU!!!" Twenty years later I saw him star with his brother Shaun in Broadway's Blood Brothers, where his hair was a little shorter, his voice was more mature, and his riveting emotional performance in this theatrical drama gave me a new appreciation and higher level of respect for his talent as a serious actor. I realized then that I still loved him. Fast forward to Sunday night, when I again watched David perform, this time with hair a little grayer and a face whose baby-soft skin evolved into a series of lines that reflected 40 more years of living. He sang the songs he wanted to sing (some old, some new, some blues, and a tearful tribute to his friend Davy Jones with "Daydream Believer"), told stories about his life, his early recordings, his evolution. The David Cassidy I saw that night was a seasoned performer who was his own person, clearly loving what he was doing. I can now look back and see the untouchable 22-year-old man-boy who jumped around the stage in New Jersey as a young, green performing artist who, without the benefit of experience and business acumen, was little more than a pawn in the hands of not so honest promoters and marketers. The David Cassidy of today is a man whose wish has come true: to be taken seriously as a performing artist, be his own person, have a more intimate relationship with his audience, and live his life doing what he loves--bringing music to the masses. David, I DO still love you.
I really enjoyed the performance by David Cassidy! He was vibrant, enthused and singing to everyone! Unfortunately, in the many pics I got, you really can't make him out too well & he stayed mid-staged most of the nite rather than spending a descent amount of time on each side of the stage, but it was a great show!!!
It was like going to see a show where David was your friend. So down-to-earth, funny, and just a warm, passionate guy. The band behind him was superb too!
I went into the show knowing that Herman's Hermits, was the opener, but I couldn't come up with any of their songs. Of course, I recognized them all, and they were wonderful. Peter Noone was handsome, and funny, and enthusiastic. They only played about 40 minutes but it was a great 40 minutes! David Cassidy was good, but not as enjoyable and energetic as his opening band. His voice is still strong, and he sang songs that brought back such precious memories. But he has an incredible problem with his ego, and when he repeatedly said how much he appreciated his fans, it was difficult to believe. I loved his tribute to his dear friend Davy Jones, it was very sincere. He played for one hour. My seat was near the front on the side, but at the end I got to run up to the stage for a moment. David sang right to me :-)

It was like I was listening to a CD or watching the Partridge Family. David still has that amazing voice, he's a talented guitarist, he entertains the audience with stories of his life, and he is supported by very talented musicians.

It was the night before Halloween at the Birchmere in Alexandria, VA...Mischief Night! But that was no spooky performance by David Cassidy to please his fans. As his band warmed up, and he ran onto the stage, his predominantly female audience rushed up to greet him and he high-fived all he could reach. They all wanted a touch from David. He gave a very uptempo performance and included his greatest hits from his Partridge Family and Teen Idol years- I think I Love You, Cherish, I woke up in Love this morning, and a good cover of "Hush". Well, the ladies having a great "Girl's Night Out" weren't to be hushed and they begged for more and he worked the crowd and the stage for a strong 90 minutes. He has way too much energy for a - get this - 61 year old. Catch David if you can; he says he may not tour for another year or so.

David Cassidy's concert rocked the BB King Jazz Club. We had a booth, got there early because the drinks and food is great there AND THEN Cassidy hit the stage with "Get Happy." The crowd flew into the stratosphere, and we never came down. This was a genuine thrill to see one of my VERY favorite actors and musicians in person. The show was funny, had great music, touched your heart and your libido. He did all the hits. Bandala, Baby! Don't miss it!

My friend and I went to see our teen idol and relive our youth. The concert was very good and much more than we expected. Despite some of the technical difficulties he was having. He made light of it which made him more personable and funny when dealing with it. Great showman, interacted with the audience, wonderful voice. Still good looking as ever. The only issues I had was that there was no encore. When he was done ...bam, lights were up and we were rushed out of the show room quickly by the staff. I had a drink I had to gulp down which took me an hr to get. Would have been nice to linger and chat with fellow attendees. There were not a lot of people there, would have been nice to get autographs, have memorabilia signed, shake hands, take pics.

Davy Jones went on first and not only was he amazing singing the classics but he was so funny as well. He was really outgoing with the crowd and I just had fun throughout the whole show. When David Cassidy came out he was so electric that you could feel the place go crazy. His voise was amazing and his guitar playing was also great. He was pretty funny even though he tried saying he had no sense of humor. I loved the songs he played. I had so much fun if they came back into town again I'd love to go again.

This evening brought back sooooo many wonderful memories from my teenage years. I was madly in love with both of these guys. Their pictures were plastered on my bedroom walls. It was as if 35 years had melted away and we were all teenagers again. Thanks so much for bringing them to the Metro-Plex. Will never forget it.

I didn't know what to expect but I am definitely Glad that I went. I had fun singing along and hearing old Partridge Family songs as well as other songs. Overall I had a good time. I have to defend DC from the people saying that he was rude. He had to tell people to stop taking pictures and videos with their "flash" on. Apparently there was no security there to do it - So he had to do their job. Other than that he was not rude. Just saying it like it is. He also thanked his audience for being his fans and gave a chance to all his band members to stand out. He dedicated a song to his audience.

My friend and I have not heard David Cassidy perform live in a number of years, but we were big fans "back in the day." The concert was a nice blend of the early songs that made him famous, tributes to other artists like Davy Jones (of the Monkees), John Lennon, and, of course, BB King, music theater songs his father taught him, and some rock and bluesy tunes. Of course, after decades of performing, the vocal range is narrower, so some of the old songs had new arrangements that accommodated the reduced range, but DC put lots of heart into the songs and made up for narrower range with more style. The artist also shared and gave of himself to the audience, with some stories that formed a kind of musical biography, and he took the opportunity to express gratitude to the fans who have been with him throughout a long career. We were glad we caught the show.

He was a sweating, angry, mess of a man who couldn't get through one song without yelling at a paying customer. He rambled and complained more than he sang.

I am reading reports that he is saying he has dementia. Is that the excuse he is giving for the awful performance at Agoura Hills? I looked back at youtube video from a concert last August and he was not acting like he did Saturday night. In fact I would have loved to have seen that David Cassidy. So in six months his dementia progressed to the point that he was not able to perform? If that was the case then why did he perform for a paying audience? I am not arguing that he has dementia but if that is the case and it is that progressive where you rant and stumble your words and can't perform then you really need to not ask people to pay to see you. It literally was awful. I had to leave after a few songs as I was so embarrassed for him. Many others left as well.

I went to "get happy" but was very sad. David Cassidy was one of my hrat throbs, but he was definately impaired during this show. He slurred his speach, and even fell once. Some of the crowd was heckling him, which made me feel even worse. A very sad experience.

Very sad to watch. I wasn't expecting Keith Partridge, but I was hoping for an entertaining evening. David Cassidy rambled on, had technical "issues" with the sound and his guitar. Many excuses, repeating of himself. Several people walked out. His singing when he did sing was not good. I can say this is the worse show I have ever seen. His inner circle needs to be honest and tell him to stop.

Yes, David Cassidy is 65 years old now. His voice was rough, but he explained he needed surgery for nodes on his vocal cords. He also explained he has arthritis which causes difficulty playing the guitar. BUT NONE OF THAT MATTERS. This is David Cassidy, a rock and roll legend. His smile is still beautiful. He still deeply cares about pleasing his fans. His band excels at playing the Partridge Family songs as well as others. David Cassidy is a magical performer.

I thought it would be fun to see my teen heart throb however, all I got was a terrible show. David forgot the words to his songs, slurred as he spoke, barely could play his guitar, spent so much time telling us about his EP that he is recording, and giving so much time to his band solo's. The band was great but I wasn't there to see them. I think he sang, or tried to sing, about five songs. Honestly, I just sat there in disbelief. Don't spend you money on this show. It's a huge disappointment!

We first saw David Cassidy at MGM Grand about 15 years ago. He was amazing. He belted out all of his famous hits and then some. His eyes sparkled. He owned the room. The David Cassidy that came out on Friday night at Morongo Casino was hunched over, in horrible voice and seemed like a broken man. It was heartbreaking. We couldn't really hear him sing, it was mostly the band who had to sing for him. The sparkle was gone from his eyes. He just didn't have IT anymore. We left after a few songs to preserve our amazing memories of him. I am worried for him and hope he can regain some of what he used to have.

Like being in a time warp. Fans of the Partridge Family series will enjoy seeing their star in action. It is what it is - an oldies show. But the women still fawn over him and the songs are just as happy as they were 40 years ago. Solid band and a nice evening. His voice isn't as strong, it has been a tough ride for him, but this weakness is offset by his honesty and genuineness. But you need to be at least 40+ to find it fun - and the female fans didn't seem to care in the least about the music.

I grew up from the age of 4 watching the Partridge Family. I loved this show, and knew all the songs by heart! I was in elementary school when David was touring back in the day so I was too young to see him in concert. When I heard he was coming to Morongo (like 15 minutes from my house), I knew I had to go!!! I'm 49 now and was soooo excited to relive my childhood memories and see someone that I've always admired!!! David Cassidy WOWed the crowd! He talked to us and told us stories of people who have inspired his 50 year career. Then he played his own songs, as well as songs that inspired him from B.B. King, Davy Jones/The Monkees, and John Lennon. Of course, he played Partridge Family songs too!!! It was awesome!!!

Had never seen David Cassidy in concert before; wasn't sure what to expect, but as a die-hard David fan in early adolescence, went out of nostalgia. I'm pretty sure everyone else in the audience was the same. David's voice isn't what it used to be (whose is?), and the song arrangement didn't really suit him. For many songs, they had band members singing melody while David sang a lower harmony part; it would have been better to arrange the songs in a lower key so David could sing melody more comfortably. It was a good song set, with tributes to Davy Jones, John Lennon and David's father Jack Cassidy, backed by a great band. However, David forgot some of the words, forgot some of the chords; his stories were a bit rambling. I was, however, highly entertained by the 50-something (grown) women in the audience literally throwing themselves at him; flashing him, trying to kiss him. etc. -- acting like silly teenagers. My fervent hope is that these women were simply caught up in the nostalgia, and that they don't act that way normally!
