Lecrae

Lecrae Moore, known simply as Lecrae, is an American rapper and producer who has become one of the foremost stars in the Christian hip-hop scene. His brash demeanor and southern crunk production is bolstered by his smooth flow about his faith in Jesus Christ. His debut album Real Talk was released in 2004 through Reach Records and re-released by Cross Movement Records the following year, followed by 2006’s After the Music Stops and 2008’s Rebel, which reached number one on the Gospel chart, the first Christian hip-hop album to do so. His fourth solo album Rehab came out in 2010 and topped the Christian, Gospel, and Independent charts, as well as earning a Grammy nomination.

His music is so awesome because I am able to blend a little of my past (rap) with my new life in Christ. His music is inspirational and not just your typical Christian music. It was a night to remember. Even though I came late I enjoyed myself. One thing that could be changed is how organized it was. People including myself payed for VIP and deluxe tickets but some was far in the back. Also, the items that was supposed to be given out people had a hard time receiving them if they were late which they had paid to have. (Just a note for help) Thank you. Overall based on the experience 100/10 lol. Off the chain.

These guys were amazing. I love to see them preform and their music is so God Glorifying. I love it. They had wonderful stage presence and the lighting and everything was perfect. The only bad thing is i felt i needed more space, so i would recommend a bigger venue next time! Which is awesome because we needed more space to praise God, i mean it was a sold out Christian concert!! That doesn't happen in Kentucky (where I'm from)!!

The concert was a great experience. The lead in to each song helped build a framework for what was to come next. The sound was great, the performers were effective in their delivery of the message. There was a healthy balance of music and ministry. I brought members of my organization down and we all had a great time. Song selection was key to many songs played the crowd could sing along, and the on stage effects worked well with what was being rapped about in a particular song

My first time there at the filmore and it was definitely worth every penny. The digital display on the entrance made it very easy to find. The staff was professional however, there was nothing distinct about the staff so I didn't know who were and weren't affiliated with the filmore, it was a pain seeking answers to my questions. Overall great experience. Love the whole Reach Camp would pay and see all over again.

Inexpensive Ticket Price + Christ + Great Music (Old and New) + Awesome Sound/Lights + Fantastic Personable Entertainers + Great Company/Friends = The Unashamed Tour I went with a group of friends and I had so much fun singing, dancing, jumping, praying, praising/worshipping God with others that I inflamed my knee (again); however, I would definitely go and do it all over again and again and again!!!!! I had a blast! They put on a great performance and took time after the show to come to their fans (no back stage passes or special hand shakes or passwords needed!) to sign autographs. One thing that really blessed me was after the show I was able to video Andy Mineo, This'l and Tedashii all giving words of encouragement to my husband who was not able to attend the show due to serving our country overseas. I emailed him the videos and he loved it!!!!!!! OMGoodness, thank you, Andy, This'l and Tedashii for encouraging my Marine! Overall, if you have a chance to go...GO, Enjoy and Worship Christ with performers who honestly believe what they preach and say in their songs! The Unashamed Tour = a five star experience!!!!

I've been to Battlecry and Jesus Culture and they were amazing, but there's something about Christian Hip Hop that allows me to pour out my true form of worship. The Reach family made it clear to go for God and not just to watch them. I just hope I wasn't the only one jumping for Jesus. .

I became a fan of Lecrae after hearing a piece of a Lecrae song when Andrew McCutchin was coming up to bat. I wasn t a major fan but thought he would be interesting to see when I saw that he was coming to Pittsburgh. When the day arrived I was debating on going because I had so much work but at the last minute decided to ditch work and go. I m so happy that I did. It was such a different experience than all other rap concerts that I ve been to. It was nice to look around and see parents with their kids as well as adults both enjoying the music. It is refreshing to see a rapper who has positive messages instead of messages filled with drugs, sex, derogatory statements about women, guns and all the other unfortunately normal negative topics in rap music. I listen to main stream rap but I feel messages that Lecrae is trying to put out are 100% better for the world and the people in it. I wish other mainstream rappers would follow more often.

I am 33, and while I felt slightly older than most of the crowd in Portland, my girls and I enjoyed this show every bit as much as the teenagers!! We always enjoyed going out to the clubs in our 20's, and Lecrae makes it possible to dance to a good beat, while filling our minds with the love Christ. His music is so authentic and his transparency makes him such a joy to worship with! The light/video show and his performance were amazing!!!! It made me feel like a teenager again - we all need that once in a while :)

The warm-up with DJ Promote got everyone pumped up for what was to come. Andy Mineo and Lecrae used videos in between their songs to deliver a powerful message of how God can transform anyone into His likeness. This was a birthday present to my son who loves the 116 artists, but Mom enjoyed it just as much as he did!!!! I highly recommend seeing these guys anytime you can!

It was originally suppose to be at bojangles auditorium next door but I guess didn't sell out I heard amongst those of us in VIP. Katt Williams was at bojangles in Feb for CIAA and sold out yet Katt Williams fans, the majority I bet, don't support him by buying his work. Those of us amongst the #116unashamed movement, we support the artistry and purchase their creative works. Lecrae and Andy don't have to tour, they do it for the fans truly. Lecrae has sold more records than Lil Wayne but tours just to share the gospel thru his ministry just for us fans and to bring glory to The Father On High.

The only part I didn't like was that It was not clear prior to purchasing the ticket that it was a standing room only. I purchased the deluxe VIP and basically stood for 5.5 hours between waiting for meet and greet with Andy and then the concert. Otherwise the concert was amazing!! I took my son and 4 nephews and they all had a blast! The concert lights and equipment were phenomenal and the performance of both artists were the best I've ever seen!!

Girls night in Canton, Oh!! From DJ Ill Spin to Andy Mineo to J.Paul to "black knight" to Lecrae! The concert was phenomenal! Dj Illspin cane and set the atomosphere. He is truly talented. Andy was himself, of course and brought so much energy! Me and my girlfriends loved the messages that each video brought! J.Paul is a very gifted individual, to sing live with such a steady voice, it sounded just like the recorded version of his voice. Oh Lecrae!! He brought it home, as always, he has yet to disappoint. The atmosphere in that place was amazing, from beginning to end, you could definitely feel the spirit of The Lord. It was worth the drive and so much more than we paid! Praise God for everyone involved with process of making the your possible! Keep doing God's work!
