The band was at their best! New and old songs alike were awesome. Rough Trade is a great venue - intimate setting, great sound system. Seeing Oberhofer was a great way to warm up a cold, wet, windy night!!! Can't wait til they come back around again.

If you're looking for a band that sounds even better than they do on record, then you need to see Oberhofer! Full of life and energy, Brad (the lead singer) jumps around while shredding on the guitar, moving stage left, stage right, into the crowd, on top of the bar, while singing the ooo's and the ahh's that get incorporated into most of his songs. The venue was perfect, not too big, nor small, and the crowd consisted of respectful people that were there to jump around just as Brad did. Oberhofer was able to play almost all of their songs, and in between most of them, Brad interacted with the audience, once even taking a picture with a girl who was calling to him from the crowd. During one of their jams, Brad ran off the stage with his guitar, jumped onto the bar and shredded, as people from the crowd ran over and swarmed around him. Definitely one of the best and most memorable shows I've been to.

Was opening act for Matt and Kim and brought high energy. Lead singer was jumping all over the place and keeping the music going.

Well first of let me say that I went to my show with my friend last minute. Normally I don't listen to this type of music but I do love concerts. I thought Oberhofer were good but kind of boring. Most shows I go to the band interacts with the audience. However this seemed like a more mature crowd that was content with just dancing to the music. Their opening band Pond freaked me out. The singer was so messed up on drugs he looked like a zombie dinosaur. Honestly I think I will stick to my alternative rock and metal shows for now on haha!
