The Penultimate Day of the US Open was actually the ultimate tennis day. Great games including Ladies Finals, Men's Doubles Finals but the Champions Doubles Match with John and Patrick Mc Enroe vs Pat Cash and Todd Martin was an amazing add on. Getting free US Open Souvenir Cap was great and made priceless by Chris Evert's Autograph

Two big issues we didn't like was the food/beverages/souveniers prices. Hot-dogs and ice-cream for a family of 4 is $100, plus the $5 small bottle waters... The worst part of US Open Kids Day was that there were no signes where to park, and no signes from parking lots to the Arthur Ashe Stadium. When you arrive to the Billy Jean Tennis area, you have no idea where is the stadium and concert/event entrance. On 90F and a 3 hour car ride in bad traffic jam, and 3 kids it was very challenging to walk around asking the guest service people 4 times to show us the way.

I attended this event for the first time after seeing it on television last year. The hi-light is the accessibility to the grounds (free) and the exposure kids get to the sport of tennis. There are lots of activities for the kids. The show in Arthur Ashe Stadium was good, but very long and drawn out. It didn't start until 1:30 instead of the scheduled 1:00. There was way too much down time in between performances. Instead of having 5 different performers play 2 songs each, it would have been better to see 2-3 performers play longer sets. That would cut down on transition time. We left at 4:00 and it was still going on. I think 2 hours would have been long enough. I would still recommend this to a friend, but caution them on the length of the show.

this is an event that is supposed to promote tennis which it actually had very little of. i have gone to this event several times over the years with my son and he found this year to be quite dull with very little action unless you count the juvenile musical acts, which this year dominated. i understand you want to attract kids to the event but these acts have nothing to with the sport and are actually a turn off except to pre-teen girls. way to much talking by MTV type Dj's and few players involved as in the past. if you want to see the players you have to come early and find your way around the courts which thankfully also stayed open after the entertainment was over.

When I purchased the tickets they said Justin Bieber what going to be there. That is the reason I bought the tickets. When we arrived at the show the hosts announced Justin Bieber was there today. Watched the entire show and he never performed. This was birthday present for my daughter who was so disppointed about this event being miss represented. How could the orgranization do this. I specifically didn't get concert ticket for that night, he was performing in New Jersery, because he was suppose to be at Arthur Ashe Kids Day. However I thought Shontele was the best performer of the event.

Arthur Ashe Kids' Day is a great opportunity to see tennis stars in their element. The players are practicing on the courts and taking time to sign autographs for fans. Courtside seats to watch the practice! Plenty of free activities for little kids. Plus lots of young pop stars in concert--some free! The Arthur Ashe Stadium grounds are immaculate and there were plenty of volunteers available to answer questions. Very well run event. Food stands had great variety and the bars had friendly bartenders.

It s ok. I shouldn't have got the concert tickets, everyone got a free hat but we did not have one at the concert. Many empty open seat that for reserved only. We bought the giant tennis ball and waiting for autograph, but end up NOTHING on it. All the players left before the concert end. We went to practices area and waiting waiting...not a good experience. The food was expansive too, $5 per bottle of water?! The kid s juice was tiny small. I end up spend more money compared to all other kids day even on the Arthur Ashe kids day. Tennis training was fun but wait for a long long time just for 20 seconds game and done. No sponsor gives away free items for the kids. They walking and waiting on line more than actual playing. We got there like 10am and stay till 5pm. They never see the stadium or play tennis. They able to see the stadium, walk on the outside court, watch professional and the kids playing tennis that are good. Overall, kids like it but really an expensive kids' day.

My husband, 2 girls and I were looking forward to seeing the concert with Jonas, Demi and David. I purchased our tickets through ticketmaster and got GA seating. While there we learned that those seats were first come first serve in upper deck so we could not sit together since we checked into Arthur Ashe at 1pm. The concert began at 2ish and the sound was TERRIBLE. We could not hear anything clear. We sat behind the stage and basicly saw their heads the whole time with very little sound. If I would have known that I would have arrived to check in earlier, at leat we could have seen their faces if we sat on the other side. The sound was still Terrible. We did arrive at 10am to take part in activities and have lunch (delicious waffle fires and burgers were very big and juicy) on the compound (outside arthur ashe). That was very nice. We saw a free concert which included Burnham, girls loved that. FYI - Burnham will be touring with Justin Bieper in October 2010. If the sound equipment was working properly we probably would have enjoyed it more. We would go back next year for the activities and maybe try for lower tier seats and hopfully the sound equipment would be working. GA seats were $10.00 Parking was $19.00 Lunch for 4 was $35.00. Large size tennis balls were $40.00. There were alot of giveaways - t-shirts, noise makers and hats plus more.

The main draw for my kids was to see the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato perform at the Arthur Ashe Stadium. Unfortunately, however, the sound system was so horrible that it made listening unbearable if not, painful. I cannot believe that a setting as sophisticated as the US Open, and stars as popular as the Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato and Shontelle, would permit such substandard amplification of their voices. In addition, the M.C.s of the event couldn't be heard let alone understood. Beyond that, being able to see so many tennis players, stars and unknowns alike, up close and accessible was an experience well worth having to put up with the poor quality concert. Bottom line: go for the tennis, not the music. But, go!

May 12 year old daughter absolutely loved the musical aspects of Arthur Ashe Kids' Day. The Jonas Bros, Demi Lovato, and David Archuletta were awesome. We were excited to see Nick Cannon as well. It was a special treat to see the up and coming star, Cody Simpson. We had General Admission tickets with a row and seat number on them. We were disappointed to find that we didn't have the seats we had expected because we could sit anywhere in the General Admission area. We would have been in the stadium earlier if we had known we didn't have assigned seats. It was a beautiful, sunny day and the entertainment was fantastic. We will go to Arthur Ashe Kids' Day again next year!!

It being my sixith time at Arthur ash kids day, this time was very much more lively, happy and fun for all ages. Although I don't listen to all of the artists that performed yesterday, they did a fantastic job! The kids ( and even some teens and adults) jammed out to their performances. As far as the tennis portion of the event, it was as fablous as ever with a dash of neon ( Nadal's neon polo), and class with the always "chic" Rodger With some laughs and hot weather, Arthur Ashe's spirit and joy of getting children to see the tennis experience was easily seen for yeaterday's event.

A poorly organized, user-unfriendly event. Crushingly crowded with all featured "entertainments" insufficient and inaccessible. The stadium show was a travesty of "winging it" with a dysfunctional sound system that made whatever it was that was going on ludicrous. The concessions were understaffed and staff was poorly trained, registers did not work, listed menu items were not available and hot dogs and ice cream cost $5. Without prior warning parents who carried the day's needs: cameras, water, snacks, spare shirts, rackets, wipes, etc. in backpacks were required to check backpacks at the entrance and charged $5 to do so. This was a day for greedy vendors, not for kids. it had almost nothing to do with the great, elegant tennis player, Arthur Ashe, nor with tennis. The promise, in the ads re. the presence of the top tennis players and featuring photos of the players, was a lie. Shame on the organizers for a demeaning, cheap-shot effort.

Over all Kid's day was good. My family will definitely go there again next year. The only thing that disappointed us was the bad sound system of the show. You cannot understand what the emcees were saying and the performers were not given justice as to their voices as the soundsystem sucked. We watched last year's show, same general admission section and we enjoyed it. Hopefully they will do something about it next year.

Considering ticketmaster gave you a seat location and number online it was extremely disappointing to arrive and see that all seats were general admissions. When we arrived and were surprised and showed them there were seating numbers we were told that ticketmaster just autofills these and that is why there is also the lettters GA next to the seating number (which apparently represent general admission - how were we to know). Just wish i knew better! As for the event (the actually stadium part) there was way too much downtown and things moved too slowly. I do think the USTA tried hard and everyone working there was lovely. Despite long lines my three year old enjoyed the day.

My boyfriend and I took my little brother to Arthur Ashe Kids Day as his birthday present. We all had a blast! My brother had so much fun playing all of the games and even got to get an autograph from the Bryan Brothers! The Jonas Brothers, Demi, and David put on an amazing performance. It was definitely worth it. Parking was a little expensive, so I would suggest taking a bus/subway/or another form of public transportation. Other than that, the day overall was an amazing experience and we will be going back next year.

About 1000 of us were in the Promenade section that was to the right (on the right side when standing on stage, facing the tennis courts) of the stage and under the large display screen. For the entire session, we could not hear anything that transpired on the court and on the stage. The USOpen officials (Guest Services, the Ushers and the Supervisors - in red T-shirts) were no help and unsympathetic. They said that they did not set up the audio, and could not help us. The irony was that there were speakers clearly visible in that section, they just were not turned on or were not connected. The event was a complete disaster, and a waste of money for our family (over $150/-).

Just awesome. Second time I've gone and this year I went to a day session as well. Day is the way to go to see the most tennis and you get much closer to the action on the outer courts. Still great tennis. Can't beat the atmosphere at night though. Food was decent but pricey of course. And ya can't go wrong at the Grey Goose booth! Subway in and out is the way to go for sure though you are packed in like sardines. Not for the faint of heart.

Not sure how much can be blamed on Irene, but we bought tix for this session because of the Opening Day Ceremonies plus the Tennis! Was surprised to see that concession stands were out of supplies (no toppings for nachos, no pizza, no burgers) when Ashe opened at 630pm. As fans already paying such a premium for tickets and admission, to be told that there isn't food available is very disappointing. According to US Open's website, the Ceremony was to include a dedication to such players as Navratilova and Blake, plus a possible performance/appearance by Gloria Estefan. None of this took place. Instead, Mayor Bloomberg spoke for 3minutes and some newcomer sang the National Anthem and another Alicia Keys song. Our seats were great, but the night was somewhat of a let down.

As I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina, for me to watch a Grand Slam Tournement was un unusual opportunity. We can see the greatest tennis players when they come down to Buenos Aires, for special events like Davis Cup and other competitions, but US Open was completely different. Unfortunately players from my country had been eliminated before that date, but I really enjoy all matches. Organisation was perfect and Phone Customer Service solved inmediatly any problem that could have arisen.

Wow! Our family's 23rd year at the Open (Flushing Meadows) and it was the best ever. The weather was perfect. The tennis splendid. Buying tickets as Christmas gifts was a no-brainer but having the day turn out to be so perfect was a real bonus! We talked about it all the way home. We decided to go for the high priced seats in Arthur Ashe next year since we haven't seen the stadium in quite a long time. The seats for the general public are still nose-bleed, but the stadium is still the most unbelievable venue devoted to a tennis event. My family and I are long-time fans. We reminisce about earlier visits to the Open at Flushing Meadows. The times we had our place in line for grounds passes at 5 AM and felt lucky to be able to get our tickets for admission this way. The ability to purchase tickets for this, our favorite family outing, by using our USTA membership and the Ticketmaster web site are priceless gifts. The Open in 2011, here we come!

Had a great time once I got in. Not allowing backpacks is pretty ridiculous, as well as not allowing flags. After all, this is an international event, and people come from all over the world to watch. Why not let them show where they come from and who they support? My friend brought a bed-sheet sized towel and that wasn't a problem "cos it's a towel." After not being let in with my backpack I stuffed everything I had into a tote bag and put my empty backpack into one of the lockers provided. Wow! God bless America! What's the difference, really? Except for being able to charge $5? You're not allowed canned soft drinks but 1.5 liter bottles are OK. As are umbrellas, but no tennis rackets. Does that make sense? Apart from that, as mentioned above, once you're in it's great!! And I know I'll be back next year. Probably without my backpack, though...

An unforgettable night at my very first US Open - Men's quarterfinals Nadal vs Verdasco. We had seats in the upper promenade which we expected not to give us such a great view but were surprisingly good! We could see every stroke and the court was lit up extremely well. During the 3rd set, we were lucky enough to be able to move down into the Loge seats! No matter what doubts one might have about paying a bunch of money when you might as well watch it on tv with front seat views, the atmosphere is electrifying and just cannot be replicated on tv. We hardly looked at the large screens in the stadium as the action on court was so enticing. The location was easily accessible with the LIRR or the 7 train. The crowd was large as expected but not too overwhelming. We reached our seats quickly and had no problem taking the 7 train back to Manhattan. All in all, a wonderful experience. Will definitely be there for the US Open 2011!

I look forward to the beginning of September every year - the best tennis players in the world gather in New York to compete in the hardest tournament in the world to win. The Thursday night quarterfinal - Rafael Nadal vs. Fernando Verdasco - was a match Nadal was going to win, but it was certainly worth a look anyway. I think I got the last box office ticket available - Section 334, Row Z - but there's not a bad seat in Arthur Ashe Stadium, and, despite the unusually cold temperatures and the fierce wind that has dogged the Open this week, the crowd was electric and Rafa was up to the challenge, beating Verdasco in a competitive first set, then running through the rest of the match. Pay a visit to the US Open next year - you will be hooked!

My cousin flew in to Philadelphia from Miami and the 4 of us spent a great day at the Open. Sunny and Very breezy. Vera was unstoppable but poor Gael,we thought we would see more of his vitality; Novac cleaned him in 3 straight. We snacked on crapes and then doubles. I just love Bethanie's knee high socks but it wasn't enough to beat Zheng and Chan. My question is,after a victory, the winner sends 3 signed balls into the stands; why 3 and not 4 for the 4 sides of the stadium?and with doubles the fans get 6 balls.

We love to see it all, singles and doubles up close. So we spent most of our day session at Armstrong seeing mens singles 4th round (Youzhny won), then women's doubles quarterfinals upset (6th ranked Vania King and Yaroslava Shvedova over first-ranked Dulko and Pennetta), then the Bryans winning quarterfinals doubles. We missed the Querry/Wawrinka match going on at Ashe then, but chose close up views from open seating at Armstrong over higher up seats at Ashe. Finally we headed over to Ashe to see Venus Williams defeat French Open Champion Francesa Schiavone. We were rooting for the Italian (but quietly!) appreciating late blooming win in her career. Doubles is underappreciated and not covered enough by the media. Also, the scores in Ashe were hardly ever posted so we in Armstrong relied on the American Express radio, which was TV broadcast from ESPN. TV coverage is visual so they did not state scores at all. Other than that, we had a great day!!

One day at Flushing Meadows is very nice, even for those that are not addicted to tennis. I love it! But I have a feeling that Arthur Ashe is too big, and takes out a lot of the match atmosphere for those at the promenade (higher sections). I've been to Wimbledon and Roland Garros already, and really enjoy going from court to court. Arthur Ashe makes is difficult since it takes to long (and you get tired) going up and down all the way to the higher seats. I definetly loved the game I watched at the Grandstand. I'll give it a 4-star because I have a feeling Louis Armstrong may be of a more adequate size. And that's where I'll be going next time.

A UK resident, I booked tickets easily, safely and securely through US open official website via ticketmaster. I had a few additional questions before the event, emailed ticketmaster and they were prompt and polite with their replies. Went to the Will Call desk and collected my tickets no problems, oh the beauty and wonders of the internet. An avid fan who attends Wimbledon I was interested to see how this grand slam differed and what a difference! Seats were very high up but hey it's the US Open - just being there is enough. The crowd in the Arthur Ashe Stadium were enthusiastic and vocal all 23,000 of them. The intercation with the big screen was a great addition to the event as were the freebies selected to a chosen few via the big screen and roving camera. Great music in the intervals between play which enhanced the atmosphere and ambience of the event and the tennis was top notch. Amazed you can come and go as you please during play. Stadium so vast - a person is but a pin prick of many. The food outlets struggled with the sheer volume of people and unlike Wimbledon you can't bring ruck sacks, large cool bags or picnic hampers into the stadium so picniking isn't really encouraged. A mobile locker (you hold the key to your locker) vehicle is stationed at the event for large bags ($5 an item) and a supervised and secure tent for larger items of luggage until play had ended. Brilliantly organised transport to the end of play and right through the night. The saxophone busker dressed as Spiderman on the way to the subway was hilarious. He struck a spidey pose between playing, my Marvel fan son loved him and it was a great end to a really fun night! Wimbledon is wonderful but I think I actually enjoyed the US open more. Would love to return again, a fantastic event with no hitches and the staff were great too.

Armstrong is cozy compared to Arthur Ashe, and on Sunday afternoon the matches were just as good. We had nosebleed seats in Ashe and seats ten rows up in Armstrong, so after reviewing the playing cards, we decided to spend the day at Armstrong. Schiavone won her match so quickly we arrived just as she finished, but Sam Querry looked quite good against Almagro, and Stan Wawrinka, despite managing to eke out a loss for the first set, went on to beat Andy Murray into submission. We left before the doubles match, but for the dedicated tennis fan, there's no better deal than eight-plus hours of tennis at Armstrong. The only confusion seemed to be with ticketing. We had reserve seats behind the south baseline but until mid-afternoon no one was at the gates checking tickets, and ticket holders kept having to chase people with grounds passes from their seats. Obviously, you want the stands full for great tennis, and you want as many people as possible to see the matches, but with folks paying $100 a ticket for premium seating, some greater degree of organization would seem warranted.

This was my very first pro tennis tournament and I was able to catch it while in NYC on business. The tennis center was easy to get to on subway #7 line and only cost $2.25 each way - such a deal. The players I got to see were top names and I was able to see 4 matches (two mens, two womens) at the Armstrong venue from 11:00 am until 9:00 pm. It was hot (95), but plenty of places avialable to buy cool drinks and to get out of the sun when needed. I was in the second row off the court and had plenty of open seats around me to stretch out. Great day in New York! The "front row" ticket was $150 and worth it to me to have a guaranteed seat for my one day at the US Open.

We went to the US Open in 2010 for 2 day sessions and it was really worth!!! We met Rafael Nadal during a training session and it was really unforgettable! Americans know very well how to throw a party and the US Open event proves that - well organized, easy mass transportation, everything perfect! Nothing to complain about....

This was the second year running that we went to the US Open. The grounds are a wonderful place to spend an entire day or a loverly evening. The matches are generally good, though I suggest you plan for good players by careful review of the schedule). But above all, the crowd fever, matches under lights, plenty of eat/drink/shopping options and beautiful courts make this an absolutely fascinating experience!

Although very crowded, our day at the US Open was amazing! We saw some great matches, including Ryan Harrison on the Grandstand, John Isner on Armstrong, and Andy Murray in Arthur Ashe. We enjoyed the exceptional food offerings this year - especially loved the "celebrity chef" choices. Hope to see more of the same next year. Definitely feel that we got our money's worth in terms of entertainment and location! The grounds looked absolutely beautiful this year.

The atmosphere at Arthur Ashe that evening was charged and electrified .... The front row corner seats helped provide a fantastic view of the player the strokes and the ball .... Rushing out at 12:30a to catch the train was a disappointment; Lesson learnt ... always drive to the evening session at the Open, cause the matches invariably go over time Superb play by Krunic; The maturity and calmness she exhibited belied her age ... She varied length and speed, pulling the trigger occasionally, unleashing a thumping forehand that kept Azarenka guessing and losing rhythm... VikA ultimately managed with a lot of difficulty ... Her post match plea to the fans to sing "Happy Birthday" for Gael Monfils left me (and I am sure many of the fans) amused and confused:)

Arthur Ashe stadium is the biggest in the world, but it is nothing to brag about. The upper tier is way too high for watching tennis and all the stadium does is enrich the coffers of the USTA. We usually buy tickets for Arthur Ashe but watch tennis from anywhere but there. However, on Sunday the schedule for Louis Armstrong and Grandstand was so unattractive that I actually ventured into the the monster stadium. Luckily we were able to sit in seats other than our ticketed ones or else we would have been watching the birds fly below us. I am happy the US Open does not follow the same policy of Australia, WImbledon and Roland Garros and sell tickets for each show court. It is great to be able to wander other courts and avoid Arthur Ashe.

Really fun event. The one negative thing was that due to rain, our session was cut short. The match that was suspended was moved to the night session. I thought that was a little unfair. The match resumed around 6PM which is part of the day session. I think that if they had just moved it to the next day, I would have been OK with it. They can t predcit the weather so that is fine, but since they were able to resume it, I think they should have let the day session ticket holders to all resume watching.

What an amazing night! The Billie Jean Tennis Center is an amazing complex, Arthur Ashe Stadium is sublime, and the services were outstanding! Towards the end of the second match we got to go down and sit courtside ($1,300 seats) because so many people had already left, and it was just the icing on the cake. Not a bad seat in the house, and what an electric atmosphere! I had a traditional NY style sausage with peppers and onions for dinner which was delicious as well.

While I am not as knowledgable about tennis as many people who attended the game, the level of skill, energy, and commitment from all four players (we watched two matches) was inspiring. I am a professional violinist and have so much admiration for the dedication required to achieve such a high skill level. On top of everything else, all were good sports and the enthusiastic audience applauded everyone with sincere gratitude. Definitely doing this again!

Took my bf to the U.S. Open for his bday and we had such a great time! The Day Session tickets are the best so you can show up and see tons of other matches on the various courts open to anyone with an Arthur Ashe day session ticket. The larger Louis Armstrong & Arthur Ashe stadiums are BEAUTIFUL - you have a great view from any seat. Easily accessible by the LIR or Subway, and once leaving, you can check out the NY World Fair and globe with water fountains. Really pretty parks too!

After two rained out days, the sun rose, clouds parted and tennis resumed. Being able to watch matches in the Grandstand, Armstrong, and Ashe courts is rounded out by tennis on courts 13 (Roddick) and 17 (Isner-Simon, loved the intimacy of that court). My main suggestion is to make the availability of other matches far more readily known- who's playing and where, now and in the next few hours. Why aren't screens up and available to the fans for this info?!

I went on the 5th of September (Labor day holiday in the US) and purchased the ticket that gave me entry into all except the Arthur Ashe. The good: Great seating available in the courts and grandstand, so saw Paes-Bhupati, Vesnina, Pannetta, Erina-Vinci up close. Great ambience with fountain, live music and 2 big screens for telecast of matches to visitors outside Arthus Ashe and Louis Armstrong Well connected by Subway and LIRR The bad Louis Amstrong was filled to capacity almost throughout the day. With the lines being about 400 metres long, I decided not to waste time trying to get in. This was my second time to the US open grounds so wasn't keen on getting into Armstrong since I had seen Djokovic and Sharapova during my last visit. I was hoping to see Nadal, Murray, Kuznetsova and Roddick on the practice courts that day. Although Roddick, Kuznetsova, Federer and Murray had slots for practice that day, none of them showed up Expensive food inside, half liter bottled water for $3.75

This was my first time going to the US Open, and I had a great evening. Getting to the grounds is easy via the 7 train, if a bit crowded. The food options were plentiful with a decent selection of vegetarian items. The food and drink is overpriced but not out of line with most major sporting events. Our seats in the main stadium were very good. Sitting just to the right of the baseline gave us a good view of the action and lines. Most seats looked like they were decent though. The weather could not be faulted either. The early evening matches on a nice day are a joy to attend.

Our experience at the U.S. Open was frustrating. First match begins at 11AM. Wife and I pulled into USTA grounds at 10:20, following line for parking and were just about to turn into the parking area, when the police officer who was directing traffic, pointed to our car and waved us off the line and told us to continue straight. We assumed that they were opening a new parking area. However, that wasn't the case. We were directed completely off of the USTA grounds and wound up driving down College Point Blvd and around Queens. We finally made our way to Citi Field parking lot and parked at 11:20. I have no idea why this cop did this to us, but the day was already ruined. Later, we made our way to Armstrong to watch Monfils/Ferrero match. Watched a long and amazing 2 sets, but hunger got the best of us. We left to grab a bite at the food court, and when we attempted to return to Armstrong, we found a line of people coming out of the stadium, around the side of the building and across the USTA grounds. There was no getting back in. I've been attending this event every year for the past 25 years. I have always loved the event. But in the past few years, they are selling far too many tickets. I realize this is a capitalist venture, but the event sells SO many ground pass tickets, that the quality for the tennis fans who attend is greatly diminished.

We had a very hard time finding tickets for the match but it was really worth every cent we spent. The match was top notch, the crowd was loud and fun and looking at the statistics summarizing that Muller only won 2 points more than his opponent proofs how tight the match was. No dramatic adviser could have written a more nerve-stretching thriller. Thank you to the players and organizers for this great moment of tennis!

Skip Ashe stadium and hop around any other court with a general ground pass admission. Also, leave the car home at all costs The good - ability to pick and choose matches, seating is up close. Tennis center has a nice look and feel, lots of amenities, ability to see TV announcers in the open. The bad - requirement to purchase a schedule for $17 to see who's playing, cost of everything is triple what is "reasonable". A $56 T-Shirt? Great way to spend the day, especially if you're a tennis fan.

My colleague and myself went to US Open 2011 tennis on Tuesday, the second day and we had a great time. In the morning I drove for two hours in my area in New Jersey to meet my colleague and drive together to the Open, but because of flood and road-blocks I could not meet him. Finally, we both drove separately to the US Open being exhausted. But, after entering into the US Open gate and enjoying a couple of matches we forgot all about our tiredness and frustration. We saw matches of Tsonga, Ferrer, Djokovic, Davydenko, Sania, Kuznetsova, Bhupati-Paes and a couple of matches on huge Screen. Great matches! We had great time! We had to force ourselves to live at 8:30 p.m. Very friendly and family oriented environment. For last several years I have been going to US Open and I do not want to miss it!

This was the first year I got tickets to Arthur Ash stadium and I did not regret it, even though the court was the size of a stamp. After being squished for hours in Louis Amstrong, it was nice to stretch out and not worry about my seat being gone if I got up. I got to see the Williams Sisters, Maria Sharapova, Roger Federer and many other tennis stars and enjoyed some wonderful matches. By the time play was stopped for the thunderstorm most of the matches I wanted to see were over, unlike last year where I waited for 4 hrs only to have the match I was waiting for cancelled. The stadiums really need a roof, the rain delay in Arthur Ash was very uncomfortable with so many bodies in such a small space. Still rain delay and all I enjoyed the day.

Travelled from the UK. Got tickets in hope of seeing Rafa, boo injured. However, loads of top seeds there on the day I went, weather was fabulous, last year rained for over 5 hours and ruined the day somewhat. Wasn't happy that a facial, and a deodorant (sprays) both new, were taken off me and I didn't get them back, fine to take them but at least give them back to people when they exit, I'll know if I ever get there again. Hopefully the ladies toilets will get an upgrade when all the new works begin. However, didn't stop me having a great day.
