Utah State was no match for the Aztecs defense. However, the Aztecs need to step up their offense.

It is great fun to attend an Aztec Mens Basketball game at Viejas Arena. The team is re-building and it's going to be a good one. Fast paced and the Show, the band and the crowd keeps the excitement level up.

That was the best game I've seen at SDSU. It was intense for SDSU to beat a ranked team like that. This should be their best year ever. I would definitely recommend attending one of these SDSU basketball games this year. We had a blast sitting near the student section.

If you're a San Diego sports fan and you haven't yet gone to a SDSU basketball game, I highly recommend you do so. The team is very good....the atmosphere is electric.....and the school spirit is a lot of fun! And....best of all...it doesn't break the bank. The good seats cost about $20, parking is easier than you'd think, and I'd say that a great time was had by all in attendance. Steve Fisher has done a terrific job of building a successful program at State, and I believe they deserve a lot of support. It sure beats $100 tickets to see the Chargers (and I've been a Charger season ticket holder for over 30 years). I plan on attending a lot more games this year!

Liked the whole experience except leaving the parking -took to long for exiting-but will attend games again

I had a great time at this event! The tickets were great and easy to order! I wish sold beer though. But we still had a good time!

The game was FANtastic, just about all the seats there are awesome, just being in the house was awesome, in a word, my experience was AWESOME!! GO AZTECS!!

Aztecs game was a excellent choice...well organized and funny.

Great game, easy access to arena. Traffic was a heavy on the way out of the parking structure (closest to the arena) parking attendants were not paying proper attention to people trying to leave. Perhaps, some better training of personnel.

This was a tough game to watch, not just because the Aztecs looked outcoached and outplayed, but because the #24 ranked Aztecs looked more like they should have been ranked 124! They got spunky just in time (overtime) to avoid another crushing defeat. Yes, they are short handed but even so they need to play better than they did. They may be a lock for the tournament but if things don't get turned around, they won't last long!

Fire works and a halftime show by the Black Eyes Peas was the only way to out do the event on Feb 22, 2012. It rocked but I do think they should add fireworks like UNLV and a good halftime show that deserves its own admission fee. Other than that it was amazing. Thanks!!!

I attended the Aztecs vs Wyoming game and had a great time. Thrilling action and electric atmosphere.

Good Venue, great game, although SDSU lost. Student Body section always entertaining. The only down side was the traffic in/out of the campus, especially the garages. Take the Trolley

A most unbelievable experience! This was our second SDSU basketball game, amd we'll be back for more.

Loved the atmosphere, fans were rooting for the home team as if it was a Final Four game. Great time, great game. To bad we came up on the losing end of a nail biter. Cannot wait until they visit the Thomas & Mack.

great game, great entertainment with the dance team, cheerleaders and school band. Steve Fisher is a great coach and I love going to games. I Wish they were not all sold out for the rest of the season.

Holy Moly!!!! That was close!!!!!! For a team that was supposed to be an easy win, they nearly whooped our rear ends...they would have if their bench was deeper...but once their lead guys got into foul trouble (all 5 of them), they had no one else to save them. I tell you, 3 more decent guys on their bench and they beat us absolutely. These Chicago State kids came out fired up to play and they flat out did!!! They took a sloppy, ill-prepared SDSU team to task and at multiple times throughout the game made us look absolutely silly! Crisp passing, solid fundamentals, alley-oop slam dunks, trick slam dunks, and good defense - Chicago State had it all. The Aztecs looked flat and very sloppy. We (Aztecs) were behind at one point by at least 7 points and it looked like we could possibly end up losing if we didn't get our game on. Finally we did get our game on and sent the Chicago State team packing, but the outcome could have been vastly different if they had a deeper bench. Several of their top players fouled out...thank God. We did NOT look like a top 25 team - far from it. This is the first game I've attended this year and hope to attend more. I want to see if this was just an off-night for our boys. I pray it was. Hat's off to Chicago State for a very good effort...they clearly put a scare in all of us Aztecs - fans, coaches and players included.

Good seats, crowd into the game, cheering was positive, all players played, home team won by 51 (what?), and parking was decent. Should be a good season.

There were over 11,000 people at a 4:30 P.M. midweek game against a team that most of us have never heard of. Going 34-3 last season has certainly brought many new fans out of the woodwork. Up until last year, I could show up right before game time and buy tickets to virtually any game. For someone who remembers the "old days" at the Sports Arena, when the Aztecs seldom drew 1,500 people to a game, it's quite a change. My favorite team is now so popular that it's hard to get a chance to see them.

We go to a lot of,Aztec games. They are always exciting and the crowd really gets into it. It's a cheap way to have fun and cheer on a good team.

Best sports venue in San Diego is SDSU basketball. Great time!

Had a great time at the game - SDSU basketball is a lot of fun, especially sitting near the student section. It's pretty loud and raucous, so if you're looking for a quieter area to watch the game (i.e., where people aren't stomping their feet on the metal bleachers, making your seat shake), you might want to try other seats. But to me, this added to the excitement. Can't wait to go back!

Awesome experience, every regular season finale needs to be this much fun.

bought 10 tickets to the sdsu basketball game in december for a birthday party for our 14 yr old. what a great night, the seats were right next to the student body...the boys continue to talk about what a great time they had.

We got there early and stayed late. A great second half of basketball followed by celebrations and net cuts ... Good seats - fun crowd - nice cheers - clutch play - and if all 5 starters play to potential - Final 4 is in sight .... Thanks Aztecs....

Took my son to his first college basketball game......Unforgettable!

The Aztecs started of well, then battled back and forth for the rest of the 1st half. The second half was dominated by the Aztecs - with many players seeing action. It was an exciting end to the Mountain West Conference Play - Co-Champions with BYU. What a great crowd!

It was a thoroughly enjoyable game, at a great venue with a electrifying vibe/atmosphere. SDSU fans may not agree with me that it was 'enjoyable', given the outcome, but as an impartial observer it was a fun game to watch and I feel with certainty that the better team won the game (i.e., neither team got screwed by the refs).

It was great to see the Aztecs put together a complete game against a very good team and hang on for the victory! It was also great to see the arena full of enthusiastic fans.

The games are always a great time as the Aztecs have established a winning tradition and are tough to beat at home. At 12,000 seats, the place is still small enough that there aren't many bad seats in the house. However, I would just caution against sitting in the Bench seats in the last 6 rows, as you'll have no leg room along with someone's knees in your back. But other than that, I love going to the arena to support our Aztecs!

WE WENT TO THE AZTECS VS WYOMING COWBOYS GAME AND IT WAS ALOT OF FUN. THE ASTECS ARE STARTING TO GET THEIR MOJO BACK AS THE SEASON PROGRESSES, SO IT WILL BE GREAT TO SEE THEM DO WELL IN THE POST-SEASON. SDSU AZTECS ARE THE BEST TEAM IN THE MOUNTAIN WEST, AND WILL PROVE SO IN THE MOUNTAIN WEST CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP.

Watched SDSU play in the Holiday tournament at the O'rleans in Vegas. They walked off the floor with their tale between their legs. What a turnaround!! Why didn't this team make the NCAA's. Best defensive team in America. Coach Fisher is the best, I am looking forward to his Coaching SDSU for the next 10 years!!! Viejas Arena sounds like The PIT West............Loud, they support their team.

Aztecs took there game to where it should have been all season. Different from Monday's game, but still with the W.

Great game! The fans were on their feet cheering for almost the who game, the energy in Viejas was amazing. Definitely better than any NBA game I've been to.

Great seat! Row 14 above Aztecs bench, ordinarily might have heard some of Coach Fisher's remarks to team, but the sound effects of our enthusiastic home team fans were in full playoff mode, leading Georgia Tech to remark on our powerful fan base!!! They say the only ones louder are the fans at UNC. GT came to show us how much better the ACC is than the Mountain West conference... We sent them packing 72-56. Next stop, Madison Square Garden for semi-finals!!! Thank you, Ticketmaster!

The crowd was electric one of the loudest ever. The Team played outstanding and overall it was a fantastic experience.

The experience provided evidence on development and the growth of the Aztec basketball team in both the discipline of the defense and using the strengths of its players on offense. Go Aztecs.

This was the best game ever....loud and fun. Have been to ten games so far this season. Best entertainment in San Diego if you are a sports fan. The school band, pom pom girls, dance team, videos AND of course the game itself.....amazing!!!

My family went to the SDSU vs. Wyoming basketball game and really enjoyed our experience at the stadium. The seats were $20, very affordable and the arena was easy to get to. The only small complaint was the parking was $15, unless you can find parking on the side street. We would definitely go again.

This was our first college basket ball game and it was incredible. The energy of the fans was insane! We will definitely go to another one. These tickets were for myself and 10yr old son.

SDSU basketball has become an event in SD. The team is excellent and the atmosphere at Viejas arena is off the charts.

I had a great time and my team won also! Great view from my seat and what a show, the fans were very focused and the cheering was intense to say the least.

Don't sit in student section unless you want to stand the entire game, make sure you get there early, ushers won't seat you, they'll just say take whatever seat you can find, if you're 1 minute late good luck getting the seat you actually purchased...otherwise it's a blast!

Great atmosphere, even if you're not a big fan the crowd pumps you up

Anytime you can get into this arena to see the Aztecs play, you should. Although not the best team or the best game, the Roadrunners were entertaining to watch. During the school year, half the entertainment is watching the student section(The Show) cheer and chant and support the Aztecs. It looks like a tradition is building on Montezuma Mesa. Be a part of it.

From start to finish, an amazing time. Even though this was a game during Winter Break against a small school, the arena was jam packed and the crowd was into it. Even casual sports fans would have a blast at an Aztec game. Hint: The $5 ginormous bag of freshly popped kettle corn, is the best food deal I have seen at any sporting event.

Had a blast, the SDSU student section was applaudable! Brought all 3 of our kids from ages 6-13 and was impressed with good, clean bantering! Great game, sad outcome but we'll get'em next time around.

I blame the coach and senior leadership (?) on this one. He allowed his players to get caught up with the student section. Do that after you win. They didn't hit one of their pre-game warmup shots with the student section in the background. They danced and they high fived...and BYU just came to play. Can't go back and do it again. A classic mistake in leadership.

I recommend anyone going to catch an Aztec basketball game! These games have become like going to a concert or to a play -- they are GREAT theater. The games are almost always sellouts, and exciting from the beginning until the end. I highly suggest getting there early so that you can listen to the student section do their pregame chants, see pregame intros, etc... THIS particular game I'd liked to have seen (1) the Aztecs shoot freethrows MUCH better, and also have seen (2) Billy White actually 'try' to be a part of the offensive flow. Billy looked so 'out of sync' all night - I hope it was only that he was sick, or something...as they will DEFINITELY need him in post season to advance anywhere in the tournament!

Enjoyed the game very much. Pizza at Woodstocks was GREAT the Family time was priceless ;)

Watching the Aztecs was terrific, the student crowd was great and our seats were good.

My only regret is that I didn't buy more games while they were still available!

Had a great time watching SDSU play! Compared to the school's football program, which is decent but only attracts a few thousand fans, the basketball team has generated a ton of energy both on and off campus. I am a student, but rather than camp out for student-section tickets, I just bought one from Ticketmaster. The game was good (SDSU won), and it was a ton of fun being in the building. A great time!

First time at Viejas Arena. Nice facility - parking is easy, ingress and egress by car are no problem. Not a bad seat in the place for a basketball game. Had a great time and would definitely do it again.

I couldn't believe the energy that night! What a game... good friends, good fans, good team... what else could you want from a game. Oh yea... how about an awesome display of 3's from our nationally ranked Aztecs! Ah-mazing!!!! Go State!!!!

the game was lively, and the cheerleaders performed awesome routi8nes. The second half the crowd and the players from SDSU seemed to get new energy, as if they wanted to win it ... Overall very good. Question: why can't I drink a beer watching my game? I spent 66 dollars for my tickets and I work hard... I just wanted to drink a beer. The student section was incredible and made it very exciting to be at a live game. Loved the part where they held up pictures of famous peoples faces on a stick when the opposing team went to shoot a free throw...very funny!! It was super easy to get to the stadium on the trolley and just as easy leaving after the game. Looking forward to going again in a couple of weeks.

The Aztecs are in midst of the most incredible season in school history and one of the best ever in College history. The atmosphere at Viejas Arena is unmatched as you feel the energy pulsating through your body the entire game.

The game was awesome, of course. The problem was PARKING!!!! Give yourself an hour to get into that place. The parking officials guided us into a garage where we proceeded to drive down a level looking for parking with a line of cars, only to find out there was NO MORE parking in the garage!!! We had to leave and go to the next garage....this was at least a waste of 15 minutes! Unfortunately we didn't think clearly and didn't give ourselves enough time to deal with traffic as it was....so we arrived about 30 minutes late. Bummer.

20 - 0 they are the bomb cant wait to see them in the sweet 16 and beyond

this was one of the best mens college basketball games i've ever been to. great electricity and a very close game.

The San Diego State Aztecs beat the UNLV Runnin' Rebels in a gritty defensive battle. Neither team shot well but that is to be expected when these two match up. If you want scoring go to the BYU game (if you can find a ticket) and you'll see plenty. Now that the Aztecs have become a hot ticket, it's important to have an exit strategy. Park as close to the exits as possible in the parking garages and once the game's over make a beeline for your car. Just a couple minutes of hanging around can add 30 minutes to your traffic commute.

What an awesome time with my family. It was good seats for my grandparents since they didn't have to walk down to far. They loved it :)
