I had a great time and the show sounded great. I wish Darrel remembered all his lyrics but he has a great voice and is a real good performer.

I've been listening to GJ for years and I love the heavier, angrier, side of their music as most followers do, so I was a little disappointed with their newer songs- which they played in tangent for the last 20-30 minutes. I noticed around me during the slow, melodic, trance-like sound of their newer song(s)- I'm guessing it was more than one although it did seem to blur into one long transient state, that people were checking their phones, making trips to the bar, using the restroom and some even leaving. I'm pretty sure the majority of people there, having not seen GJ in quite some years, wanted a show full of the old energetic songs we grew to love with possibly some newer songs mixed in, not vice-versa. GJ is a distinct genre and after years of being dormant we were expecting a great awakening with mayhem-induced pits and all-out epic chaos, instead we were lulled to submission and left in a daze wondering what exactly we just witnessed. I know bands hate being type-casted, but there is a reason they have followers, because people genuinely enjoy their specific sound, you can deviate slightly but should always return to your roots (because that's what got you where you are). GJ should stick to its trademark and stop experimenting with this new sleep-inducing blur ESPECIALLY when we don't see them live very often, if at all. If you are lucky enough to catch a rare GJ show, you certainly want to hear most of your favorite songs...

They killed that show! The crowd was going crazy as soon as they went on and the mayhem didn't stop until the show was done! Literally could not have asked for a better venue and crowd for this show! Going to see them again in nj! Can't wait to rock out again!

Glassjaw is amazing. I wasn't aware that the Rx Bandits were opening the show, and honestly I never have listened to them that much before hand, but they definately made a fan. But Glassjaw has and always will be my favorite band. I drove all the way from Phoenix Arizon just for the show.

Glassjaw, as usual, gave an amazing performance. But their opening act, the Rx Bandits, were HORRIBLE! They played the longest set ever for an opening band. And it was torture every second they played. Absolutely horrible! But it was all worth it to see the great Glassjaw. The way Beck adds little things to every song, its perfect. And Im normally a "stick to the album sound" type of guy. But what he does is amazing.

DARYL PALUMBO IS THE BEST MAN IN THE WHOLE WORLD. He's seriously so freakin (prob. Can't cuss) amazing and such a rad dude. THE SHOW WAS siq!

This concert was really enjoyable for the most part. I love Glassjaw, and they put on an amazing show. Plus, the opening band, RX Bandits were great to see live as well! However one thing I did notice was that I feel like Glassjaw, or at least Darrel Palumbo, doesn't really want to be playing shows anymore. It seemed like he didn't really want to be up there singing. And they've had the same set for the past say, 7 years, and Darrel even says the same things in between songs... It didn't make the music bad or the show any worse, it was just kind of sad to think about afterwards.

Glassjaw was amazing as I assumed they would be. Hands down my favorite band of all time. And last night, they reminded me of why. Pure raw passion and talent. LOVE'm! RX Bandits were a great opener! Very talented as well. The Mayan Theater was a very legit venue. A very intimate setting. It felt as if the whole show was a private studio session played specifically for us. Very nice. Cant wait to catch them both again tomorrow in SF!!!

It breaks my heart to write this as GJ simply could do no wrong ever. They are the best there ever was, literally. But times are changing i guess. Saw them open for deftones in 2000 and they were the best act I had ever seen and heard. We don't need to go on and on about why they're incredible as we all know why. Anyway, immediately my all time favorite. Saw them again in Chicago in 2006 and they were still pretty good but not like 2000. This time in san fran the band seemed negative, kind of a lame vibe and pissed at each other maybe. Just not that fun, hard driven energy it once was. Almost like they were just going through the motions to get it over with. The drummer still cannot play the old material correctly and continues to speed up and slow down on tempos through the songs. I thought that would have been rectified as of 06 but apparently not. And to top it off, the sound quality of this venue was pure mush. I love GJ... the music, the live energy, every aspect of everything they once had. Daryl, get off your negative-depresso Mick Jagger kick and get on the ball. I'm not saying screaming like 10 years ago is viable as our bodies and abilities change with age. But man, you guys gotta snap out of this or you have seen your last days. The new 6 song ep.... oh boy. It's ok. Gold is good. I realize as we all mature with age so does our musical taste and the farmer/jesus glue/lennon direction is awesome. Just don't head the direction of the ep material i beg of you. This band may be done. Or, they may be an album only band at best...which I'll take if they keep pumping out the classic material.

I've been a fan since their first record was released and have seen them play live a few times back in the day. This show inperticular was pretty week and was nowhere near as I remember from past shows. I only hope that the other shows on this tour are better. But it was a pleasure to see them again and to know that they are back after such a long hiatus. They need to step it up and BRING IT as I know they can.

Glassjaw started off great w/ John Lennon, Tip Your Bartender and Mu Empire...from there in my opinion it was downhill. The crowd looked completely out of it by the end of their set. The sound was horrible. You could barely hear the guitar. Thanks for the free EP though.

glassjaw is incredibly tight. i still cant beleive that only 3 guys can make that many sounds and recreate an album quality sound on stage. center stage was also fantastic from sound to atmosphere. also, the vinyl is just a short flight of stairs away where you can grab a beer and a smoke and listen to terrible jack johnson rock.

Being that I have been a long time fan of Glassjaw, I was delighted when they announced their current tour. I went to the 1-1-11 show in NYC this year and was privy to the songs on the Coloring Book EP. Needless to say I came to this prepared and excited to purchase Coloring Book. Little did I know that the band would be giving them out FREE at the end of the show. The performance was outstanding. Daryl sounded amazing. So much cleaner than the NYC show. My thanks go out to these guys for sticking to what they believe in and being one of the few bands that actually show true respect for their fans. They are doing this all on their own dime, no major labels. I will support them in any way I can to show my gratitude. GJ rocks baby!

HANDS DOWN BEST BAND EVERRRR! at least in my opinion. Spectacular show. New jams from Coloring book are mad sexy! Durijah's drum parts are redonkulous! So ill. As expected Palumbo tore the roof off the firestone live. Such a captivating performer. With a monstorous band behind him that barely moves around more than a head-nod or constant Manny head-bounce, leaves plenty of space on stage for Palumbo anticts. Vocals were on point leaving out some crutial scream & talking parts of songs for the audience to join in (which you best believe i did!) Beck's guitar tones were crispy & tight just the way I like them, yet big and full. Less guitars on stage & in the mix leaves more room for the melodies to cut through or sore over. Only complaint is that they didn't come down to Miami!!!!! -Omar from Miami. Mad Glassjaw love down in tha dirty south guys!

Glassjaw is one of the few bands that are entertaining to watch as a whole. All members move and groove to the music. The sound was perfect - not too loud and you could hear every piece of the band. I love how Daryll looks throughout the crowd while he sings -- not many musicians do that. They played music from almost every stage of their career, including new experimental stuff. They gave out their latest EP, the Coloring Book, which is very different from stuff they've put out in the past. Overall -- nothing less than I expected from previous years of seeing them!!

Well, the Glassjaw show at the Glasshouse in Pomona, California came to an end last night. And I feel like writing a little about it. Waiting in line alongside my friend, Jordan Zuber. My anticipation began to grow rapidly as the minutes went by. Pacing around the little area next to the door at the bar next to the venue. Once the doors for the venue opened and everyone rushed inside, we patiently waited for RX Bandits to start the show. I m taking a guess at about 9:30pm RX Bandits took the stage, and to begin, I was a little excited with thoughts running through my head going along the lines of, Hm, new band. I ve heard some tunes, let s see what they got for me on stage! The first song they played, didn t catch the name, not really of importance in my opinion, was pretty decent song. After that song, and the second song. I was bored. Extensive drum solos, repetitive tracks, ugh. Don t get me wrong, RX Bandits are decent, no joke. But, all it was in my opinion was a shoulder tease. You know? Get your shoulders moving in anticipation for the band you really want to see. So, after standing in the same spot, arms crossed, through RX Bandits set, they packed up, and set off. I nod my head at RX Bandits for giving their fans a great show, but it was our turn. Durijah Lang steps out, as well as Justin Beck, shortly after that Manny Carrero, and finally, the man that has always kept our anger to its minimal & always keeping us at the edge of our seats with his phenomenal raging vocals, leading man, Daryl Palumbo. Once the band was set up & ready to go, my fingers tingled, my mouth watered, my skin got goosebumps. I was prepared to get blown away. They jumped right into the not so new, but new track on the soon to be coming out EP, You Think You re John Fucking Lennon , and without any hesitation. The crowd jumped right into & held nothing back, and let me tell you, this intensity, I have never witnessed before in my entire life. I ve been to a numerous amounts of shows, and have witnessed Glassjaw before in \u201807 when they played a show at the House Of Blues venue in San Diego, California. And this one had the best crowd out of any show. Though, as a surprise to us all. Glassjaw, or more to say, Daryl Palumbo, didn t bring what some what consider his a game. Standing around for the first couple songs, starring at his band mates, but the response to this was not even of importance at the time. Due to he was still giving us a amazing performance by singing the songs us Glassjaw fanatics have enjoyed for many years, but through out the show. He came to his more random lewd & hilarious acts he would perform usually. But, we all kept in fact that the dates announced in California were warm-up dates for Glassjaw. Since after, they will be joining Brand New in the east coast to support Brand New s recent album, Daisy. Though, their energy was still in lack, I felt no energy to be left missing, for this time, the crowd gave in & stayed up through the entire show, singing, pushing, jumping, and just staying active to enjoy their favorite band perform. Through every song, everyone sang, everyone felt it, and everyone, in my opinion, should have had a great time, with no exiting with regrets. As they came to an end by playing one of my all time favorite Glassjaw songs, Babe. I came to realize this was more then just any show. This was a place for me to go & get in touch with some of my roots. I have Glassjaw s GJ symbol tattooed on left forearm for its significance of meaning towards me, be it music, emotions, family, etc. Something that a large amount of people will never understand, and put me through a mockery of shame of inking my body of a bands symbol. But, people are naive & insensitive, something I care little for. I realized once the song, Babe had come to an end & the band walked off the stage, I realized I was in a place of comfort. A place where so many people have such a strong love for something, the same as I do. And for the short time that this band played, it meant the world for me. I realize that if one day, the music were to collapse. I would go down with it. All in all, Glassjaw at the Glasshouse in Pomona, California. Was definitely one of the best events & nights, that I have ever had. And I most likely, will never forget it.

Got to the door @ 8:30 and they said it was full capacity and we would have to wait and maybe get in if people left. I got texts from 3 friends that had the same problem - 2 even purchased tickets for an outrageous price on ebay. Bouncer couldn't be nicer but the event was very poorly organized. The outside started to fill up with ticket holders that weren't allowed into the venue. I said screw it and went down the block for a drink. Never again. Waste of a trip.

It was the second best Glassjaw I've even been to. Number one was in 2001 when they had todd and they released silence. They were definitely On and the crowd was rowdy as hell. Jumping from the stage and crowd surfing furiously as well as having props while doing so. If Daryl didn't like someone on stage with him he would just kick or punch them off the stage. It was great! The venue is awesome. They allow you to come in and out as you please and have a great restaurant right next door. Definitely a great experience and great venue.

With the recent announcement that Glassjaw will most likely not be releasing albums the way bands traditionally do, they went ahead and released two EP's that are equally as good, and both variably different. That being said, Glassjaw played a few secret shows before the show at the Best Buy Theater in NY in March, and Im glad they did, becuase the warm up sessions allowed them to rock the place. Maybe it's becuase I'm from the town next to them, but I have always been a slave to the glassjaw rumors and speculations. However, no rumors here...Glassjaw tears it up everytime they get on stage, and with the new batch of material to use, their live shows will continue to showcase the greatness that Glassjaw exudes. Highlights: "Natural Born Farmer" "Pink Roses" "The Gillette Cavalcade of Sports"

It's been a long time since I last saw Glassjaw.... before Worship & Tribute. I wasn't sure how they would sound with 2 new members and 3 Head Automatica albums later. I have to say, they killed it! They plowed through a 20 song set and sounded great. The new material is slamming and it was really cool that their merch crew was giving out The Coloring Book as we left. It hasn't left my car since the show. My only complaint is that they pretty much ignored EYEWTKAS, which I understand, but that material is classic and should stand apart from any BS with RR. In any event, great show, great sound, can't wait for the full length! Keep killin it Darryl!

GlassJAw was incredible as is to be expected. They played an extra long show & made it damn good by giving an amazing performance. To top off the best concert I've been to in years, they gave away their new EP as we left. Would Do Again.

The Cleveland Glassjaw show was incredible. Far more production than I've ever seen GJ have (was my 6th GJ show since 2000). 3 LED panels were the backdrop which mostly switched between the colors green and white with a few other visual effects mixed in, and house lights were minimal so the band looked like silhouettes for most of the show. It looked great. High energy as always with a great structure to the setlist. Was impressed with Tidal Arms also. A lot of things about them reminded me of Hum and Failure. Another thing that surprised me was seeing that GJ had a bus. Any other time I've seen them it was a van or RV. Even Head Automatica were in a van the 3 times I saw them. I guess it really does pay to be unsigned these days

The lead singer of glassjaw is pure sex on stage. This was my second glassjaw show and they once again did not disappoint! Amazing stage presence, amazing energy, amazing sound, amazing lighting. Everything about this show made the trip from muskegon to detroit worthwhile. The venue was kind of run down and dirty, there was no re-entry so the smokers had to improvise by smoking in the rest rooms, and there were very few tables (maybe 5?) so it was standing room only which was pretty annoying. But glassjaw made all of that unimportant by rocking out as hard as possible and showing that they still have it. Bonus free copies of their new EP coloring book at the exits.

I didn't even get to see Glassjaw. Left early to avoid the crappy roads and also because of the rude bouncers at the Majestic. The first band was okay, but the singer was awful. Second band was sweet, didn't catch their name. Wish I could have seen Glassjaw.

i've seen glassjaw before. the energy was not there. daryl's moods seem much more stable than they used to be. the show was glitzy and cool, not cathartic and intense. they only played one song from everything you ever wanted to know about silence. most of the songs seemed to be from their new ep. they handed out eps at the door, which was way cool of them. in short, there was NO ENERGY.

So I had a lot of fun at this show. More fun than I have had in a long time. They were great to watch and the lights were really cool.

Glassjaw has never let me down. I've seen them 3 times now and they consistently get better every time. Their newer material is completely different, but they're ahead of 90% of the bands out there with their originality and raw energy live. If you've never seen Glassjaw live, you can't honestly tell you're children that you've lived.

The show was great. awesome vocals accompanied by great guitar drums and bass. Spectacular show, one of the best I have been to. I have a hurt back and was told I couldn't sit upstairs in the balcony. I stood on the ballroom floor for about 4 hours. Very uncomfortable and would not do this again.Part of the reason I went to the show in the first place was that I would be able to sit down (in a chair, not on the ground)
