If you're a fan of any Pink Floyd songs, you will be absolutely amazed at the exceptional sound quality and performance that Aussie Pink Floyd does at their shows. I have seen a lot of concerts; and a few takeoff bands. The quality with Aussie Pink Floyd is nonsurpassed. Treat yourself next time they're anywhere near you.

they were as good as the last 2 times I saw them. I think the acoustics in the Chicago theater weren't as good as at the Rosemont theater. where they played the last two times I have seen them. but I still think they are the best tribute band to Pink Floyd I have ever heard. I will still see them again when they are back in Chicago....

Show was awesome as usual. First set was great, though I thought they could have chosen different vocalists for one or two of the songs. The second set, OMG! Absolutely incredible. They nailed everything. Finishing up with Comfortably Numb was like a Dr. Gonzo moment. I mean, throw in the toaster, it just doesn't get any better than this.

Have seen APF 6 times now, and this was the first show I found to be disappointing. Spent a grand on 4 seats and was completely let down. Main singer was sloppy and average while the rest of the band, for the most part, was tight. Rather than play through entire albums as they had done in the past, they stopped between each song. This also took away from the show. Band was not very engaged with the audience in general, especially the lead singer (boring).

For my first time seeing them live, only seen them on PBS a few times, it was really good show. The venues seats could of been a little more comfortable. Well worth the money spent. Would go and see them again, even if they came to the fair for a concert!. Con- people around me carrying on conversations in both Spanish and American during the show! All really had nothing to do with the show. Very annoying

Not having been able to see Pink Floyd in Concert, I thought the next best thing was to see a tribute band. Aussie Pink Floyd was the first in line so I bought tickets for them. I have heard from friends who live in other parts of the country that they've seen them and highly endorse them. Now it is my turn to highly endorse them. Like most fans of Pink Floyd, we are not just fans because we like their songs or the message, it is because we love the music. Pink Floyd is well known for their powerful guitar riff's, we all love them, and Aussie Pink Floyd matched the guitars so well that it was like the song was being played on the radio. After the show I left with the feeling that I'm okay with never having seen the real Pink Floyd, Aussie played so well that the only thing that could have been different was that had I seen Pink Floyd, it's totally possible that they wouldn't have played as well, knowing how some bands like to change things up a bit. We know the songs, we know the guitars, we want to sing along and drum with the drummer and play the air guitar when we know it's coming and if it gets changed up you can't do that, but we all had no problems with Aussie. The only down side I can speak of is that they sang at least 4 songs that were "obscure" songs, they easily could've been replaced with more popular songs. Definitely a big thumbs up.

From the direct note for note rendition of Another Brick in The Wall to Wish You Were Here the Music was spot on and memorable but the vocals just weren't there they were acceptable but in a few spots I felt myself cringe when they lead vocals obviously missed a note or couldn't reach it.

I have seen the real Pink Floyd band in concert three times and this tribute band was a good as the real thing. Great light show and the guitar playing was fabulous. The venue at the Windsor Casino was perfect. After the show, the clearing of the audience was handled very well, it took only 15 minutes to exit the venue and get back to the Casino floor. If they are back close to us next year, I will definitely attend the show!

This event was awesome best one I have seen yet the lights and the songs and movies they have are frigging crazy they played a lot of songs that were great. Their energy level was off the chart it was like they were living threw their music. I gotta give it up for that saxophone guy he did awesome and was jumping and dancing around really keeps u I interested. The best part of the show was when they had the fog and the lights flickering and then all of a sudden bam a giant purple kangaroo is on stage jumping around and it was crazy blew my mind

Of course I would of liked to see the real Pink Floyd but as that was not going to happen - this was very close. They sounded great, the light show was great, and loved the inflatable Kangaroo. I would also like to see them in a bigger venue- I had great seats but think if the ceiling of the balcony wasn't over me I would of had a better view of the lazers (saw them but would of been more expansive).

The show was enjoyable, but very close to the show I saw in 2012. I'd like them to dig a little deeper into the catalog. How about a Cymbaline, or a Grantchester Meadows? Goodbye Blue Sky? Pigs (Three Different Ones) was great, but you played that last time; how about Dogs? I really enjoy Aussie Floyd, and would like to see them every time they come to town, but not if 80% (or so) of the material is the same as the previous tour.

They named it the "Set The Controls Tour" and they were spot-on in performing this movement and all the other selections as well. I am partial to the pre-Darkside material, but they performed every song so well that a blind person would swear it was really Pink Floyd. The young guitarist peeled off a blistering solo on Pigs that blew me away. The overall sound was well sculptured; however, the overall volume could have been turned up a bit more.

Once upon a time, Australian Pink Floyd was the best tribute band out there. Unfortunately that is no longer true. While they are still a good show and I did not feel ripped off, if you are going to see ONE Pink Floyd act go to the British Pink Floyd. These guys basically just played the big hits, did not stretch the Floyd catalog apart from "Set the controls for the Heart of the Sun". Brit floyd played a song from each and every Floyd album. a much tougher task and more suited to big rather than casual Floyd fans. In closing, if these are the only guys you can see go ahead because you will get a good show but not the BEST show.

The show was fairly good. I would've liked it more if I hadn't seen Brit Floyd before, which in my opinion, was more polished, maybe, more precized... Having said that, i think it was still a good, enjoyable show... Pink Floyd music is magical in any form to me.

Felt like I was at an opera. I would say less than 10% of the audience sat in their chairs like zombies. I stood a few times to clap or just jumped up from the way the music moved me and got yelled at to sit down. I believe some of these Chicago people don't know how to appreciate great music. I'll have to find another venue to go to next time their in town. Other than that, Aussie Floyd ROCKED!!

This is probably the fourth or fifth time I've seen the Australian Pink Floyd. Their faithful reproduction of the music is always impressive. They stuck to the standard favorites, plus One Of These Days. I really like some of their past shows, with cuts from Animals and The Division Bell thrown in. They do a great Keep Talking. This time they were a bit sparse on the theatrics. In past shows they have brought the huge round projection screens showing Pink Floyd's videos, and an inflatable kangaroo. These things were missing in at Humphrey's in August, but that didn't detract from the music, which remains a must-hear for any PF fan. I'll continue to see them anytime the come to San Diego.

I will not say it was a bad show, but it left a lot to be desired. First, Led Zeppelin 2 was poorly mixed and no one could hear the lead guitar. Who goes to any Zeppelin tribute show so as not to hear the lead guitar? The setlist was great, but the presentation left was lacking. The Aussies were good, but seemed a little bit lost . It was an outdoor venue and a smaller stage so they didn't get to employ all their toys. Maybe that's the reason I felt their part of the show was sub par. Once again there was nothing lacking in the set list. One other thing ... each of these bands has a breadth of material that could warrant them having their own show. So each has to limit there play list choices to fit a lot smaller time slot. As I have seen both bands before (together even), I'd still recommend the show but at an indoor venue with a larger stage.

I've seen Australian Pink Floyd twice. Their sound is very good. Since we can't see the original Pink Floyd anymore, this IS the next best thing. I will see them whenever they are near. But can I say something about the opening act? They suck. Both times I went to see Australian Pink Floyd, the band "Led Zeppelin 2" opened. Now I think they just travel around with each other. LZ2 is as bad as APF is good. The most disappointing thing is their sound system. Or maybe they do it on purpose. Both times I saw LZ2, the vocals, bass, keyboard sound is way up and the lead guitar is barely discernible. From what I could hear, the "Jimmy Page" guitarist was doing a good job, but his volume was just too low. Very disappointing. Regarding vocals: Even though I think it must be pretty hard to get that Robert Plant voice, this "Plant" is down right annoying. He does too much of that stuttering and flipping about that is legitimately Plant; but this guy is over the top, so that it's distracting rather than a valid impersonation. If LZ2 is playing with APF next time they come to San Diego, I think I'll just plan on going late.

First time seeing this band. Did a pretty good job, pretty authentic sounding music. Most of the show was from Wish you Were Here, Dark Side & the Wall. Also played Meddle's One of these Days, and two post Water's songs (one I didn't recognize, other might have been Learning to Fly, forget...) I could do without the post-Waters stuff, just like Floyd with Barrett doesn't interest me. My biggest disappointment was that there was nothing from Animals! That was a real shame....

I have no point of reference, since I never was able to see the original Pink Floyd live, but I can't see how they could be much better than the Aussie version. The emotion and attention to detail in each song was very evident, as was the technical precision to replicate the studio like sound. The guitar interplay between the two leads was impressive to say the least. I really enjoyed the sound mix as the lady background singers fit perfectly and appropriately into every part. Mike on the sax gave me goosebumps. The Aussie radio station search prior to "Wish You Were Here" was so cool! I couldn't believe they played "Us and Them" live as it's such a dreamy song, but it was one of my favorites of the show. The light show was the icing on the cake. I'll be looking and waiting for the next chance I get to see this awesome tribute band!

Australian Pink Floyd could easily be written off as a Pink Floyd wanna be. However the talent level and musicianship as well as their stage presence brings them to a different level. Every musician contributes at a highly professional level and this is especially true for both guitarists, the lead singer and the back up singers. Definitely worth seeing!!!

I have seen the Australian Pink Floyd show twice now. The first time at the Palms in Las Vegas. Because of their amazing set, props, and light show Mandalay Bay Beach was not the best place to see them. I was so disappointed that the classic Pink Floyd magical feel was not there. Their sound lends itself to working better in a more intimate environment. At Mandalay Bay Beach, it felt and even sounded like a typical Pink Floyd cover band. Because I've seen them more than once I know how phenomenal their talent is and how you can get carried away in the show and almost feel for a moment you are really experiencing Pink Floyd. It's a shame that people did not get to experience that at this venue. This band's talent is astounding, they worked so hard and so long to be where they are and they deserve to have people see them at their best. The show usually has the big round screen, the teacher puppets and lasers. However there's no way I would go see them at a small stage outdoor venue again.

To begin the Led Zepplin 2 portion of the concert will make you cringe listening to a non talented poorly performing band that sounded terrible and lamely mimics Led Zeppelin. I have seen Aussie Pink Floyd several times and have marveled at the accuracy and attention to detail they have in their tribute to Pink Floyd. Truly in a good indoor venue the best tribute band in the world period. Last Friday night at Mandalay Bay Beach concert they were crammed into a stage that was way too small for the band forcing them to condense there settings. The light show was scrapped probably because of the proximity of the airport and the FAA regulations on use of lasers in the outdoors. The light show is a signature portion of the bands performance and to chop it down to a single laser effect on a wall was nothing short of pathetic. I felt sorry for the band they played well considering the venue but was so limited on what is normally a great show. Whomever booked the band at this venue should be flogged.

Seeing them for a second time. Very tight musically, vocals good, lights, accompanying videos all well great. They played the "familiar" Floyd tunes that most fans expect. Hardcore fans my have looked for some more diversity ie: Fat Old Sun, Set the Controls, early stuff, Arnold Layne etc. This show had Led Zepplin 2 as an opening act. Very loud, hard to discern lyrics. I would have rather heard all Floyd. They played about an hour and ten. Aussie Floyd... an hour and a half. This is not an arena venue, but it would have been nice to have the side stage screens running to focus on some of the guitar work and performers.

If you want to see the closest thing to an actual Pink Floyd concert, this is it! Everything about the show, even the backup singers, was superb. The quality of the music from every member of the band was off-scale and the fidelity to the Floyd sound was excellent. It wasn't just a carbon-copy of the recorded music, this was an "alive" live show. The only criticism I have is that the setlist, drawing from the very diverse options, was a bit disjointed.

We've seen Pink Floyd and the Aussie Pink Floyd multiple times over the years. This year's show delivers 90% of the original Pink Floyd performance and was the best we've seen from the Aussie band.
