Been a Refreshments fan since the 90's, never had a chance to see them in Person until now! WOW!! Did not know what I was missing! Excellent live performance, would go see them again every chance I get. Recently saw Springsteen as well and honestly I can't decide which concert was better! WOW!! Mind blowing great show! I only wish they had done "Wanted" and "The Highway Out of Town" Love those songs. Keep up the great work Roger!

Very intimate! The sold out show was crazy but I didnt feel uncomfortably crowded. Rogers set list was great and all the band stayed after to hang out with people.

Great show. The opening acts were awesome. Sons of Bill killed it. Roger cline was amazing to see live. I will be seeing then again.

It all seemed a little chaotic and out of sync....doors were very late in opening....Roger and the boys left out some MUST play tunes....Banditos....Mexico.....but still one of the best live bands period.

This show was phenominal! The only downside to any HOB show is the outrageous cost of alcohol, but I can't let that lessen the score for the event. I knew that going in.

Roger Clyne and crew put on a fantastic show at the House of Blues in Las Vegas, can't recommend him much more! The House of Blues worked hard to counter that by apparently skipping air conditioning (it was 95+ degrees in there the whole show) and then charging $6 for a small bottle of water

Saw Roger Clyne play fizzy, fuzzy, big & buzzy in it's entirety. It was awesome. That is such a good album & he's a wonderful songwriter. House of Blues in Las Vegas is a good place to see a show. The good news was they played for almost 3 hours, the bad news is there is nowhere to sit.

The show was a huge lovefest. Everyone knew all the songs and sang right along. Band was tight and full of energy. The fans are the best. Lots of happy drunks. House of Blues was hella pricey though. $25.00 for two beers, $5.00 for a water! Ouch. That may have to do more with being located in the Mandalay Bay Casino. If you go, bring a flask. Floor was sticky, and drinks leaking down the railings from above made it a bit less than great. I would see RCPM again in a heartbeat, but it will really have to be a band I want to see to get me back to the House of Blues.

I can't even begin to say how GREAT this EVENT was, and I do mean EVENT, House of Blues Vegas, RCPM, FANS, all awesome, only way to know what its like, is to go see this band, you wont regret it. The fact that they played the songs from the "Refreashments" days - Fizzy Fuzzy Big n Buzzy - cd had the crowd singing word for word the entire 1st set -- unfriggin real, awesome, incredible, and every other complimentry word you can think of. What a party!!!!!. Had a sore throat the next day from singing and shouting... GREAT SHOW !!!!! just writing this gets me pumped for there next one, cant wait. Everyone owes it to themselves to check out, Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers, one of the greatest bands on earth to see live. Hope you got the idea that this was - one unforgettable show - and I know everyone there that night felt the same way. Keep the rock rolling.

As always, the Peacemakers delivered a legendary performance! This show was special in that they played the entire Refreshments' hit album Fizzy Fuzzy Big and Buzzy as the opening act. Even with the classic Refreshments songs removed from their main setlist they delivered an amazing show.

An excellent venue for an intimate concert. The vast majority of the audience new the lyrics to 90% of the songs so it made for a very interactive show. We can't wait for next year!

Wow, what a show!!! I've been going to Refreshments/Peacemakers shows both locally and away for around 12 years and this show ranked up with the best of them. The Peacemakers lifted the energy of the crowd from the onset and then raised it to a crescendo for the duration. Wrong or right- I normally judge between the shows I'm lucky enough to go to by the setlist and this one had just about everything that I wanted. The only track that I was hoping for that did not get played was 'Lemons' but the jammin, solo trumpeteer had plenty of other opportunites to display his arsenal. The encore did not disappoint one bit either with an awesome rendition of 'Green and Dumb' followed by an unparalleled blowup of Girly / Kiss Off. I cannot wait for the next fusillade I'm able to hit whether it be right down the street or thousands of miles away..........

What a great event! The Tequila was there in strong variety, the food was wonderful, and the concert was everything that I was told it would be (1st time seeing Roger Clyne). Had my fill of tequila, margaritas, food ....but NO WATER?!. That was rough. Maybe we'll see some next year? We'll be there!

Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers played a great show Saturday night at Birdy's. Clyne (the frontman and principle songwriter) and drummer P.H. Naffah (one of the best drummers anywhere, any genre), are holdovers from the moderately successful but still vastly underappreciated band the Refreshments, who recorded two major label albums for Mercury Records, "Fizzy, Fuzzy, Big and Buzzy" and The Bottle and Fresh Horses". They imerged from the same Tempe, Arizona scene that spawned the likes of the Gin Blossoms and Dead Hot Workshop in the early and mid 90's. I was never fortunate enough to see Dead Hot Workshop, who supposedly set the standard for bands in Tempe, but I was fortunate enough to see the original Refreshments once, and have seen RCPM several times...if Dead Hot was better, then they must have really been something, because, Roger Clyne is one of the best frontmen I have ever seen, and he has a pile of great songs that stick in your ears immmediately and stand up under repeated listening...and he has a a band in the Peacemakers that can play with the best of them). He always gives his fans their money's worth and then some. Saturday night was another 2 1/2 hours of RCPM blood, sweat, and tears, killing themselves for about 125 people, and about 75 true fans who knew all the words and sang along on every chorus. A great band that gives 100% every time out. Go to their website...all the CD's are available, including the Refreshments CD's...you can get all 9 of their CD's in a package called the "Whole Enchilada" for $55. No better money ever spent. The individual CD's are all available also for $10 each...do yourself a favor and pick up "Honky Tonk Union" or the Refreshments CD's...or anything else you see out there. And see RCPM the next time they come to town...You won't regret it.

As always a great show. I really really liked the addition of the Jons, the perfect accent to RCPM's style. This band has a certain camaraderie among themselves and with the crowd, they create a friendly atmosphere and we all feel like family whle rocking our hearts out. Talking Stick is a great venue inside or out, with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Recommend the Band, of course as they are my favorite, and the venue.

Fans of RCPM know what a wonderful experience their shows are. Fan interaction between the band, participation along with the songs, and just an overall feel good experience are what you should expect at one of their shows. This was no exception. Talking Stick Resort Pool summer concert series kicked off by local boys RCPM was the perfect choice. They were loud, rowdy, and a downright good time. I'd highly recommend both the venue and band to anyone.

Another amazing Vegas show! The last few years, they've been playing one of their CDs front to back as the opening set. This year it was time for Sonoran Hope & Madness, an underappreciated and underpreformed classic. Then it was time for a blistering second set with plenty of rarities itself. The yearly Vegas show has become the second best show of the year, after Circus Mexicus! Already looking forward to next year and Americano!

The concert was amazing as RCPM always is. I loved the venue. Very nice. However, the hotel should think about putting more servers in their concessions. We waited in line for 30 minutes to get a beer. They had on guy behind the counter and the poor man was waiting on TWO lines of customers. Not good. But the actual concert was awesome as I said.

The venue was pretty cool - standing room only but no bad view of the stage. The bar lines were pretty long but if you caught the right one at the right time it was manageable. My recommendation would be to keep all the bar lines at the back of the pool. I'm glad we didn't get a cabana - they were the only place you wouldn't have been able to see the stage. Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers were as amazing as ever. Can't wait to see them again!

They started straight up, 8 pm. They played a lot of songs from the new album. Their shows brings the crowd into the set. It was a great mix of the their old favs and the new songs. The workers at the venue needed more training. it took too long to get a beverage and the servers were slow and unknowledgable. The venue could have made much more money from beverages if they had more concessions available. Roger played right to the curfew, 10pm. it was a fast 2 hours. looking forward to the next show i can attend. They need to play Vegas!

Another awesome show by RCPM. Really enjoyed the venue. The sound was pretty good, the bass was a little muddy, but they seemed to get it fixed by the middle of the show. My one and only gripe would be that there was a 10:00 PM hard stop for the band. You could tell that they wanted to play more. If this was an indoor show, like at the Celebrity theater, I imagine that they would have played longer based on past CD release shows. Roger and guys, if you are reading this, great job on the new CD. Thank you for all that you do. See you soon!

RCPM was excellent. The only reason I rated this 4 stars is because Talking Stick enforced a hard curfew at 10pm so the show was only 2 hours. Usually Roger plays 3 minimum. The venue is great; RCPM had the honor of being the first band to play on the brand new outdoor stage. The sound system was outstanding. His new album, The Independent, had 4-5 great new songs that they played. Watched the whole show from a poolside lounge chair! Great show.

Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers were extremely awesome! One of the best show I have ever seen...Top 3, I would say. They are extremely energetic & very appreciative of their fans! Roger gives 110% and seems to enjoy doing so. The crowd really feeds off of their energies and gives it right back making it an almost spiritual experience. We love RCPM and see him in concert a minimum of 2 times per year. We saw him last year at Talking Stick but we were seated way in the back by the pool. This time I bought Cabana tickets and what difference in experience. I wasn't quite sure how it was going to work but not only did we have a nice Cabana, but the tickets also included box seats directly in front of the Cabana. Excellent view and the seats also included bar service. The concert was great and we really enjoyed the beautiful evening, entertainment and service!

Went to see Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers at the Talking stick Resort pool on March 25, 2017. The band put on a great show with an awesome set list. I can't say enough good things about these guys, they never fail to rock the crowd. We heard some of our favorites from the Refreshments days, current RCPM favorites and a couple new songs as well. Overall a perfect mix! Then there's the fans, a diverse group of fun loving, enthusiastic people who come together for the music and friendship of an RCPM event. The fans are one big rocking family. My only complaint is the with the venue. The eight foot gap between the fans and the stage is an odd thing for an RCPM concert. It takes away the interaction and a bit of the energy between the band and their fans. It also complicates the Tequila flow to Roger and the guys. The Talking Stick Resort general admission ticket price is also one of the highest you will find on the tour. That may not be important to everyone but it is to some of us. We all need some beer money left after we bought the ticket in the door. :)

I absolutely love this band! However, here and vegas tend to be shorter shows. I suggest you see them in Mexico!

Roger played played a song from every album then a new song from the forthcoming album, the song was named Hello Tiger. The band then launched into the catalog a second time (10 albums!!), finishing up with another new song titled "Flowerin", then went off the map, even at one point playing a request with a $100 taped to it. Phenomenal show!!

talking stick resort advertised that they were going to do the complete fizzy fuzzy big and bouncy album, its one of me and daughters my alltime favorites every so its the only reason I bought tickets, daughter skipped a night of work, then NOPE they didn't do what was advertised . we were disappointed and angry and were considering leaving, wouldn't have missed work otherwise . but stayed and after we got over being angry enjoyed the show.. nice band, guitar player has a nice touch, roger clyne has good stage presence and sang well. the packed in crowd seemed to know every word to every song. so ended up being a pleasant evening. as far as venue pool area was fine, decent sound quality, overall good show. only rated it average due to the show being advertised wrong causing disappointment otherwise would have rated it about 4.5

Have been a Peacemakers fan for many years and seen them perform dozens of times. This show did not disappoint. The venue was very good with lots of space and a quality stage and sound system. The outdoor atmosphere made for a very enjoyable experience. The band mixed old favorites (going back 20 years) with some brand new songs they are working on. All in all a wonderful experience.

Saturday night was one of my favorite shows I've ever seen by RCPM and I've seen a lot. The energy was awesome and the packed house was really into it. Venue was a little too crowded until they opened the balcony, then it was a blast.

RCPM never disappoints. We were also pleasantly surprised by The Cave's newly remodeled inside! I will always find a way to see RCPM; hopefully, they will return to Big Bear Lake, CA. I will definitely go see another show at The Cave.
