Buckcherry

BUCKCHERRY IN CONCERT:The sex, drugs, & rock and roll ethos of legendary hard rock bands like Motley Crue and Van Halen is alive and well in the new millennium with Buckcherry. Josh Todd and company may have taken a few years off in the '00s, but 2013's Confessions displayed the same uncompromising dedication to chasing skirt and partying hard the band has become known for. At their 2013 shows, Buckcherry floored fans with adrenaline-filled sets of hits like "Lit Up" and "Sorry," building anticipation for more shenanigans on their 2014 tour dates.BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:Formed in Anaheim, California, in 1995, the band got their start under the name Sparrow before switching to Buckcherry for their self-titled 1999 debut.

My review won't help you much. I don't know Buchcherry that well accept 2 songs that I like. I very much enjoyed the show though. Some older bands look like they're cruising just collecting the paycheck. I didn't feel that with these guys.

The show was held at the Crocodile Rock Cafe in Allentown, PA. The venue was good - very intimate. Chevelle, for three little guys, puts out a very powerful sound. Great set. Buckcherry made the show. The lead singer has so much energy, it just drives the crowd. Their music is so much fun and uptempo. The band was tight and sounded great. Just had a great time at this show and would definately go back to another Buckcherry show the next time they are in the area.

Pop Evil and Royal Bliss rocked as opening acts. Could have lived with out Chevelle- music was good but no connection to the crowd. Buckcherry was awesome! Just as good as Cruefest. The event did not happen at Stabler so that sucked, but the show was good. Paid for a premium package that was lost due to te venue changing- won't do that again....

Royal Bliss was extremely good for only having one album. They were followed by Pop Evil who exploded onto the stage with powerful vocals and rocking guitar solos. Buckcherry was the headline and did an awesome job as well, but Chevelle stole the show. Pete and the rest of Chevelle played a bunch of their hits from the previous 4 albums and lit up the crowd with Sleep Apnea from the new album Sci-Fi Crimes. Pete expressed his disfaction with the venue being moved from stabler arena to Crock Rock since they had to cancel the laser light show that was to go with one of the songs they were going to play. All in all an amazing show but Chevelle ran away with the top prize.

Despite the venue change from Stabler Arena to a smaller venue in Allentown, the concert was amazing. Royal Bliss was great, never saw them before. Pop Evil was outstanding. But Chevelle was amazing, gave 110% and totally rocked the house. I was so impressed with Chevelle, I'm going to see them again this Wednesday in Asbury Park. I left before BuckCherry took the stage, so can't comment on their performance.

ALL the bands were amazing. The opening acts were as powerful as the headlining, which is a treat. Chevelle absolutely KICKED ASS! and Buckcherry really knew how to get the crowd going and involved...KUDOS. Its too bad the colleges had gotten out so soon, i think there would have been more people. Unfortunately the arena wasnt full, but i think that was just the timing in a bad economy cause it sure wasnt due to the lack of band power and they STILL kept it rockin and we hope to have them back again!

The show was held at the Chance in Poughkeepsie, not The Civic Center. I heard it was due to lack of ticket sales. Yet, at the door there were people trying to get in!! I only went to see Buckcerry and they were great. They experienced microphone/electrical difficulties, but that was not their fault! They also apologized for it.

My cousin and husband kept singing a song by Buckcherry called Crazy Bitch (something I was becoming after hearing it the 100th time). When I saw Buckcherry was playing in Atlantic City I booked tickets for all three of us. Buckcherry was so much better than I thought they would be. We were so close and the tickets were so cheap! It made me forget that we had to stand through all the bands that played that night. But that was ok because we ended up dancing and having so much fun while Buckcherry played. They sounded even better than on radio or CD. Josh Todd is such an impending unstoppable force. The best concert I have ever seen this close. The Who was great but were many years (and seats back) ago. What can I say - If they ever play in your area you must go experience them. I cannot stop singing or humming their songs. From a new lifelong Buckcherry fan. The first band, Royal Bliss played at least 5 great songs. Their lead singer has a really strong, great voice. I was so impressed that I bought their CD that night. We played it all the way back home from Atlantic City. My cousin loved the "I Was Drunk song which continues on with \u2026 "and I was Proud - After 10,000 beers and 28 years I finally figured it out ..." She would have bought her own CD but ran out of money after drinking too many ($6!) beers that night. :-)

Inervoid opened up at about 7pm, and I can't say that I liked them. I listened to a couple of their songs and decided to run around Destination Daytona and check out some bikes and bars. Me and my fiance had some shots to get a good buzz going and returned to the show once Nonpoint started playing. They were alright, I admit to not really being into them back in the day. They spaced out some of their more popular songs, maybe even played some new ones (I wouldn't know). When Buckcherry came out on stage I didn't care about anybody else. I have seen Buckcherry 6 or 7 times now and I will have to tell you they ALWAYS ROCK. The sound wasn't quite as good as last year at Coca-Cola Pavilion (yeah they played here last year too) but not because of Buckcherry, the mix was off. Josh Todd sounded awesome. I thought the band might die playing this event, because it was so hot and they play with a ton of energy, running around the stage, jumping around and just being crazy. Buckcherry played songs off of every album, not just the new one, Black Butterfly, so it was awesome to hear all the old stuff too. Whenever they come to Central Florida again my fiance and I will be there. Hopefully it will be in the House of Blues again...where they have A/C and a better sound system. I gave it only three stars because of the other two bands and the sound mix.

Nonpoint put on a decent show but I think that the setlist differed from what I was used to hearing down in South Florida. Of course the SoFla setlists appealed to the crowd playing the songs in Spanish so it makes sense that they toned that down for the fans in Daytona. All in all it was enjoyable. Buckcherry, as always, was an amazing show. Even through the newer songs the crowd really stayed into it which was great. Josh Todd's energy really set the tone for a good time. I brought a friend who just knew a few of the songs which got radio play and she had a blast and totally loved them. She was thanking me for introducing her to Nonpoint and especially Buckcherry. Looks like they just gained a new fan.

They sounded great and played a pretty lengthy set. They were much raunchier this time then when I saw them open for Kiss. The only drawback is that they play only one song ("Lit Up") from their first album. There are so many songs from that album that are far better than their more recent stuff. They should embrace their past.

RED was simply amazing and the best group out there!!! They will be playing much larger venues soon. POD was a pleasant surprise and they sounded great. Puddle of Mudd was good and their frontman is all energy. Buckcherry was somewhat of a disappointment. I think they had some sound issues to where the vocals were not good. We couldn't understand his lyrics basically because the band was playing too loud for the lead singer to be understood. Great entertainers though. We left before Papa Roach went on set as we had two kids with us, and they were getting tired. Great show, great energy, and RED was just simply awesome!!!

This was the BEST venue for excellent seating and photo opportunities. If you are like me, a photographer by heart, unfortunately not by profession; part of the thrill for us as fans, in addition to hearing these great bands is being able to capture their performance images forever in the still of a photograph. I was fortunate to purchace TWO tickets one for the General Admission Stage level and one in the reserved seated area; and alternated between the two. It was INCREDIBLE. Cross Fade and Puddle of Mud were their usual great selves; had never heard of RED but am GLAD I know of them now; they are incredible; if you like Disturbed you will love this band; matter of fact I prefer them and think they give Disturbed a run for their money. Buck Cherry and Papa Roach were their normal brilliant and entertaining selves. For this large range of entertainment, as the show started at 5:30pm and ended at 12am...it was was WELL worth the ticket price (and in my case TWO ticket prices). In a day and age where you rarely get what you pay for this far exceeds the norm...you get what you pay for and much MORE. I highly recommend attending this performance.

Where do I start?!?! The venue was totally unique! It has the coolest vibe, palm trees and pool with waterfall. Its a courtyard setting, but big enough to hold several thousand people. With the suites from the old Day's Inn rooms on the upper levels, the sound from the stage was awesome! There are no bad places to listen or view the show. The Bands were all on their game. POD has never sounded better! Puddle of Mudd were rock'n the house and Buckcherry were their usual high energy show! Nothing bad about any bands kick'n it on the Rock Allegiance Tour! et their early to not miss any of them ! This is one of the coolest line ups and if they come any where near Atlanta I would go again. We drove 7 hours to see the show and could not have been more psyched!! If they come to your area don't miss this tour!!

7 bands in 7 hours. Not a lousy one in the bunch. The ones I had the lowest expectations for actually outperformed some of the bigger bands. Drive A was young and inexperienced compared to the other 6 bands but they have a lot of potential that additional material and time will expose.Crossfade rocked harder than I expected after hearing their radio singles.Maybe I should listen a little deeper into their discs. The surprise of the show was Red. I had a friend who is into the religious rock scene tel me that if I liked Skillet I would love Red. After listening to one disc I liked some of the stuff but didn't think he was right. After leaving the show, I would pay headliner money to see them again. Their set was right on par with Papa Roach and a little better than Buckcherry. Not a weak song in the set. Several other people in the crowd were commenting afterwards that they had never heard of them but Wow!! P.O.D, Puddle of Mudd didn't disappoint either. My first time to see both ofthem. Buckcherry and Papa Roach I had seen previously at Bayfest in Mobile,Alabama. It is a huge annual festival that always give their fans more than expected. If Rock Allegiance could do three straight days with this type of talent they could surpass them. This did make a great 1 day substitute though. The only downsides were they were an hour late opening the gates and you should tank up on water before you get there. I wasn't able to drink since I had a 2 hour drive home after the show so it was a little steep to pay $4 for a small Nestle water or for part of a can of soda. Heard other people complaining about their flat drinks after they used the remnants of several cans to make their drinks.

The seven bands rocked Stadium Green Iguana in Tampa, Florida!! First time I have ever seen RED, and they were very awesome. RED, is one of the BEST Christian bands out there. I wish RED would of at least given a short message to everyone who saw them, that Jesus is the way, the TRUTH, and the life, and is the only way for eternal life. I know the majority of the bands were not Christian and maybe that is why they didn't speak out. P.O.D is another fine example of a Christian group, and you guys rocked the house as well. There wasn't a bad band out of any of them. All the music was high energy, and really ROCKED!! Thanks to all the bands and people that made it happen!!!

Another great Buckcherry performance. The concert was amazing at The Hard Rock Live venue. They have a great sound setup and my wife and I were able to get really close to the stage which makes it quite intimate and amazing. They know how to rock and have a good time. We had balcony seats, but who wants to sit down when Buckcherry is running around on stage getting you all amped up. If you haven't seen Buckcherry live in concert yet, do yourself a favor and make sure you go the next time they are in your area. I love the "Live and Loud" cd, but it does not do them justice. Much better live!

The Damned Things did not dissapoint as i had had high expectations for finally seeing them live. Quite a good show. I had forgotten how brutally amazing All That Remains was and they reminded me quickly and thoroughly. HellYeah, my initial reasoning for buying these tix in the first place, were flawless as usual. Amazing set. Amazing sound. Stand-up energetic performance. Just awesome. Buckcherry was as good as they always are. I was tired by the time they came on cuz the show ran pretty late. But they still held my full attention the entire set and Josh Todd didnt stop moving for a second. It was definitely a party. I bought 2 shirts as well cuz they were extremely fair priced. First off was psychostick, honestly didn't know who they were, but now I do, highly entertaining and so funny! Hard metal and sarcasm, awesome! Next was The Damned Things, they will blow you away with their lineup! Guys from Anthrax, Fall Out Boy and Every Time I Die. You were amazing! Got to meet them after the show, pulled up in a cab just as we were about to leave. Next was All That Remains originally from Boston, lots people showed for them, can totally see why too, hard core!!! These guys where everywhere! Then to rock you more came Hellyeah! Lead singer makes you part of the show! Drummer kicks butt, you will recognize him! Then top it off Buckcherry, I love these guys, got to meet them again at 2 shows this week, Peoria and This show. They did old stuff, new stuff and all that you love in between!!! Amazing to hear Slammin' hadn't heard it live I a long time! When saw them before the show, they remembered my friend and I, cool for them to say so! Guys are so nice in person, X you are so fantastic!!! You get a chance to see them definately go!

They were awesome, as always. Buckcherry is one of my favorite bands to see live. It's a party! There were a couple new band members this time around, but they sounded as good as ever. I left dripping with sweat from dancing and rockin'. Always a good time!

The show was great ..... The Biters were great and Buckcherry was awesome. Lots of energy from both bands! We had the meet and greet and Buckcherry was fun to meet .... autographs and pictures! The Biters were really cool and they took pictures with us also (the drummer would not though). First time at Potawatomi for a show. Not a bad seat in the house but it was extremely loud. That's the only reason for the 4 star rating. We go to a lot of concerts and this was the loudest by far. The wife had ear plugs and she was still ringing a week after.

Their confidence on stage was amazing the lead singer was impeccable he danced and just glided across the stage, talking to the crowd i can't wait to see them again, his voice was fantastic. The opening band fused by defiance was great too I'm a new fan of theirs now the whole night was just great

the Madison is a small venue, but the show was great. Opening Act Within Reason from AL, was a fabulous and well composed group with great sound. This was my 5th time seeing Buckcherry live and I can't wait to go again. I Love Josh's footwork as he attacks each song with precision and energy, supported by perfection from the band. Xavier exudes an energy that keeps up with the fan in his hair and is always the personable nice guy toward the fans. They are in Columbus together soon, wish I could go. Will see them again in Sandusky!!!!

They put on an amazing show. I always love going to the Upstate Concert Hall for shows because it's easy to get a good spot to watch! This was the second time I have seen Buckcherry in concert and it was way more fun than the first. They are so good in concert and even the opening bands were great! My first time seeing Charm City Devils and I would actually go and see a headlining show if they ever had one.

I'm into the new bands on the rise and I was there to see MONSTER TRUCK. It's not unusual for me to skip the headliner if I'm their to see a support band but BUCKCHERRY was on my list back in the late nineties when they released their debut self titled album and I never saw them. I'm glad I stayed because that night the headliner was the best band there. BUCKCHERRY opened with LIT UP and ripped through a very entertaining set and showed off a level of stage expertise that can only come from executing thousands of shows. Great job JOSH TODD!

This band never lets up from the first song (Lit Up) until the last (Too drunk to F**k).. Petal to the metal rock n roll... I have seen this band 7-8 times now and this show was the best though all kicked ass. Buckcherry has never disappointed myself or my wife.....

Great performance....they should get a a new sound engineer - the mix didn't sound nearly as good as the opening acts.. Other than that, they were tight, energetic, and entertaining. Virgin Mary opened and they are a force to watch....great band. Would be 5 stars but the mix really was weak.

Buckcherry are a throwback to early Guns N Roses and AC/DC but with a modern twist. They wanted to do nothing but rock all out for 70 straight minutes. Their raunch-and-roll tunes and 'tude were a nice diversion from other types of modern rock. Plus, all five guys were cool at the very inexpensive CD signing/meet-and-greet afterwards. Barely made this gig as I work at night, but it didn't start til 10pm. Good move for all headlining acts.

Ok, first, I would like to say that I LOVE Buckcherry [that's the only reason I checked yes for recommending to friends] Buckcherry rocked -as always, however, I would have liked to have heard a few more songs from them. Now the reason for the 3 stars... The fact that we waited FOREVER so 3 mediocre bands could play first - I did not sign up for that - was a huge disappointment. I felt like I was in high school again attending a battle of the bands. In the future please advertise ALL bands that are playing...I would have know to show up hours later...

Starland Ballroom is a fun venue. No bad seat in the place. Opening act was Otherwise out of Las Vegas. Hadn't heard them before but they sounded great, played a good set, and had good energy. Crowd seemed to enjoy. Puddle of Mudd was next. Played a combination of hits and sounded awesome. Someone in the crowd pissed off singer Wes and he left the stage twice. Returned and killed it. Buckcherry quite simply rocks. So high energy. Crowd loved it. Great set list. Will certainly go see again.

The Buckcherry concert on Aug 30th at the Newport was kick-ass!!! This was my third time to see Buckcherry. My first time to see Puddle of Mud, Otherwise and My Darkest Days. All of the bands were pure AWESOME. I had my picture taken with Christian Stone of POD and he also signed my shirt! Otherwise i got to talk to 3 of the band members and they signed my cd and put thanks, Donna. they are super nice guys from Las Vegas. I got a big hug and my picture taken with Matt Walst and Reid Henry. I also got my picture taken outside the Newport with Sal Costa and Brendan McMillan also with My Darkest Days. Buckcherry was awesome as always....we saw Stevie D outside the Newport and he was taking pictures of us ....how cool is that? i am 61 years old and i had the time of my life.

I've seen the band a number of times in various venues, this was in my top 2. The staff was awesome, the venue was clean, and the sound was fantastic. The band is always phenomenal! I took a friend who was not really familiar with them, and he left a big fan - I don't want to spoil the surprises, but even their covers are fabulous and great choices! Josh Todd even comments on how "families, different generations" come to this show and it's true! I've taken my son with me more than once and he loves them as well.
