What a star-studded cast! I fell in love with this music last year when I bought the CDs. It was wonderful to see and hear it performed live. Beautiful music performed by beautiful, amazingly talented artists, singing the amazing stories of the bible from the perspective of the biblical characters. Loved it!

I brought my 16 year old son and we both really enjoyed the concert. The lyrics of the songs were so spot on, that it made me weep. The vocals from all of the singers were better than any concert I have ever been to. So glad we bought 5th row seats because it was great to be able to see everything up close. Great concert. Highly recommend. The arena is a great venue for concerts.

I've never taken the time to write an on-line review about anything but this was the most amazing concert I've seen. I would give it 10 stars. I didn't want it to end. In fact, I'm going to see if it's playing again anywhere near me. Certainly worth seeing more than once!

Took my mother to see this last year and we had a fabulous time. Get a seat on the floor at the opposite end of the stage to see best. We were on the side of the Events Center and it was a little uncomfortable to turn sideways in our seats, but the show was spectacular.

this was hands down the BEST concert I have ever been too. To hear the ultimate Story come to life with some of the most beautiful music ever written was awing. The talent of this unbelievable collaboration of artists was so moving. The Christmas songs they sang have been etching into my memory and I will forever remember this concert when I hear them. The raw emotion and overwhelming feeling of blessings was electrifying. The words of Max Lucado, Randy Fraze and Bernie Hermes were lessons that I am entwining into my everyday life. What a wonderful, uplifting, inspiring, awing, amazing night. God is great and it was so wonderful to share my love for Christ with thousands of others.

WOW!!!!! What an amazing concert! My friend and I cried through the whole show. You could tell it was truly inspired by God. I have never heard music like that before! Truly wonderful and awe inspiring. Hope it returns to Columbus, Ohio next year and hope to bring more family. God Bless those who conducted the show and the amazing talents of all the singers. Casting Crowns is one of my favorite groups and they out did themselves and well as the others.

I had fully expected to be moved by The Story. A few songs were poignant but the video was the best part. The VIP time was not what we had expected. I wish we had skipped that and gone to eat dinner as we had originally planned. We're glad we went but we both feel it was over priced but if some of the money goes to World Vision, then that would make it better, but we know the performers need to be paid, too.

Different than I expected, but the show is INCREDIBLE! For some reason I thought it was all about Christmas and Christmas music and the artists' own versions of them. Wrong! There were a few stadium-sung carols led by artists in the beginning, but the rest was this epic encounter with significant events and figures in the Bible, starting in the Old Testament before intermission (2 hours) and ending the the New Testament after (about 1:15). I was moved to tears on SO many occasions. It was written to reach your heart, and you truly relate to the humanness of the...humans who experienced these things thousands of years ago. It's epic, amazing, heart-wrenching, awe-inspiring, uplifting, encouraging, and life-changing. See it.

Vocals, instruments, energy, passion, everything was great! Amazing performances, great musical talent. Every single person on that stage was into the story and showed passion. It was a great variety of performers as well. I knew of the 4 main performers, but I had no idea about all the other ones, there were at least 8 different artists!

I was expecting a Christmas Show. This was so much more. A musical walk through the Bible. Very interesting and the music was just awesome. The World Vision commercial just before intermission was too long and drawn out. I understand the need but it did not need to take 1/2 hour and then send us on intermission. The day was getting late and the show seemed to drag on forever.

The videos that accompanied the music enhanced the songs, especially with the lyrics displayed. The songs from The Story CD, along with the narration made it a VERY meaningful experience. I wish there had been time for more Christmas songs, but the ones they sang were wonderful--I especially loved "I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day". The collection of artists on this tour included many of my favorites: Casting Crowns, Matthew West, Natalie Grant and Steven Curtis Chapman. THANK YOU for an amazing concert!

Excellent music, relevant message, multi-media was artistic and effective, technically flawless, great audience rapport and participation. The people that wrote all the music were part of the performance. There was an artful marriage between recorded music and live music. They involved some local musicians, and live instrumentalists - much more work, but shows integrity and purpose in the art of music. A large production that was offered with an attitude of humility and sharing.

Great music by excellent performers. Great special effects. I did not, however, care for being hit up for church donations during and after the show. You shouldn't charge someone over $50.00 to enter, then hit them up with a guilt trip for donations. -Tim

This was a must see show. It was totally inspiring. I am parcial to Casting Crowns but every one of the entertainers were excellent. Learned a few new songs. Would have liked to have heard a few more traditional Christmas songs but that's the only improvement that I could make in the show. I liked the way they mixed the various artists together. Great job.

I must admit that I thought I was in for a Christmas Celebration "event" when I attended The Story Tour: A Christmas Celebration. I did not get that. BUT, what I did experience was exactly what "The Story" writer/composer stated as their goal for the evening. And, that was that I would be able to embrace The Story in ways that connected my story to The Story...and it surely did. I can't describe when exactly I realized the major perspective shift occurred, but I found myself talking about it to friends and family. The way these talented individuals portrayed the life of "Adam and Eve", "Abraham", "Moses", "Joshua", "Job", "Queen Esther", "Daniel", "Ruth and Naomi", "Mary", "Jesus", and others brought them to the contemporary issues that we face today. It portrayed these biblical heroes with their challenges and struggles in a personal way; the way I could easily see how their lives are much like mine. These stories were not the story about them, The Story presented these Bible characters "telling their own story". The writer and composer of The Story Tour are gifted geniuses, blessed by God. I will never forget December 9, 2013. Incredible just touches the surface. Every person who participated in this performance gave 100% of themselves to their respective roles.

First i'll admit that the show was not what I was expecting in terms of this being a regular concert. Nope! It actually turned out to be much more than that as the concert was as the name implies...a Story! It is every story you can imagine in the Bible, with each artist singing songs related to each story topic being displayed. Yes, I said displayed. It's not only music, but videos infused with the story line and words to each song so that the audience can also be involved in the concert. It is spiritual multi-media interaction at it's best! This is the first Christian concert, or any concert, my family and I have been to, and we enjoyed this performance so much that we are aleady making plans to attend the next Christian concert that comes to our town as well as planning on attending next years Story Tour Concert if there is one. No better way to start the holiday season and to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas! God Bless You all!

I purchased two tickets with the Gold Circle VIP upgrade which included a Q&A session with the writers and performers prior to the show. The session set the stage for what we would experience during the show. The performances were unbelieveable. If you have heard Natalie Grant sing "Alive" in a live performance, you have been truly blessed. The Christmas season added special meaning and the singing of carols was a great bonus. The children's choir did a wonderful job with the Christmas carols.

A lovely concert. Not what I expected (a celebration of Christmas). I got a definate "preaching to the choir" sense as the jist of the performance was bringing the message of scripture to an un-taught audience but this audience seemed pretty well biblically savvy.

The music was fantastic. This truly was a concert event so those that are sensitive to loud noise might want to reconsider. I purchased the CD because some of the songs were just beautiful. "The Story" part of the concert was extremely vague and did not explain the stories of the bible. For those of us that knew the stories that were shown on the large screen, it was difficult to follow how they pertained to the book (person) in the bible. For those that were not familiar with the stories, there was nothing to show Gods goodness or the blessing he provided in each of the stories. That was a bit disappointing. Overall, worth the money. Nice evening out with my family to remember the reason for the season.

We were expecting a real concert, but it was mostly watching on a screen, and mostly in black and white, actors depicting different bible stories, while different singers came and went on the stage, singing to the black and white acting on the screen. We didn't know which artists were which, because they rarely introduced them as they came out to sing. There were no Jumbo screens that showed the singers up close, so you couldn't tell who was who, even if you did happen to know all of their faces, because you couldn't see their faces from such a distance. The person who did most of the talking during the whole event, was a pastor. I don't remember any of the singers speaking before they sang a song during the show. My daughter said after it was over that she wanted to hear them sing some Christmas songs. I don't remember hearing any Christmas songs sung by the artists during the performance. At the very end, they led the audience in one Christmas song.

We were not familiar with "The Story" tour, but recognized the well known names and knew it would be time well spent. After 5-6 Christmas songs including the fan favorite from Casting Crowns "I heard the bells" with orchestra and children's choir, the evening moved into the presentation of "The Story". This work by Nichole Nordeman and Bernie Herms is a refreshing change from the abundance of repetitive tunes and weak lyrics heard so frequently today. This is a stirring presentation of major Biblical characters presented with strong lyrics and rich vocal arrangements, all backed by high quality band, orchestration, and video production. As expected, the performances by some of the most well known Christian artists were exemplary. I removed one star from the rating because of the nararator / moderator who was a notch below the rest of the performance. Not a knock on "The Story Tour", just the Atlanta stop. Absolutely go if you can, if not, get the CD and the DVD so you can see the video productions that added so much to the mental pictures presented by the lyrics.

Absolutely a favorite for 2 years now. A speatacular event welcoming the Christmas season by the signing of talented artists and musicians sharing The Story of God's pursiut of His people. Nichole Nordeman's writing and Bernie Herms composition are anointed. The passion of the artists singing the roles of the characters was outstanding. This quickly has become a holiday tradition for our family.

It is framed around Max Lucados book "The Story", (which BTW you don't have to read to enjoy the concert). It starts out in Genesis with videos & singing of inspired songs throughout the concert & closes with resurrection of Christ Jesus. A few traditional **Christmas hymns but mostly modern Pop Christian songs. **Audience participation (: I personally found it uplifting & inspirational. It's worth going wherever you sit. I wish I would've brought two my younger children & invited more friends. Probably too much for 5 & younger although I did see some there. There is a short intermission.

I expected this concert to be a little more "Christmas-y" but that aside I was blown away by the experience! The biggest names in contemporary Christian music, all in one place, singing amazing music, accompanied by some incredible musicians --- what more could you want?

This was an amazing concert! I took my husband who wasn't sure he was going to enjoy it. All week he kept telling people his wife was "dragging" him to some concert. Only a few songs in and he was texting people telling them how amazing it was!! The songs were written beautifully and went wonderfully with the videos. I can't wait for the next one! We are also looking into going on The Story Tour cruise!

I wasn't sure exactly what the event was all about - i only knew I loved all the Christian artists who were participating. I was not disappointed in any way! The quality of the event, the Story itself and the performances were all really wonderful. It was a perfect way to kick off the 2013 Holiday Season.

I was afraid, at first, that I had just paid to hear the same music that I can hear off of any christmas cd, but I was soon proven wrong. What an amazing experience. Brought tears to my eyes on numerous occasions.

I have enjoyed live concerts before from several of the groups performing in The Story Tour so I came with positive expectations. My biggest disappointment was there was no way to even know who was singing most of the songs. There was no screen showing the artist who was singing and from my seat in the back half of the auditorium all I could see was the silhouette of a person. Very few of the songs included an introduction of who was singing, so they remained anonymous. A second issue was the sound volume being too loud. Again, I am a frequent concert goer, but I ended up holding my hands over my ears on several songs and noticed others around me doing the same. A third issue was with the lighting. There were several songs where the lights were trained on the audience and I couldn't focus on the stage or screen at all. Finally, although I like other music by the two composers who wrote the songs, these songs became too repetitive in their style and theme. They were primarily emotionally intense portrayals of Biblical characters. I would have preferred more emphasis on God's role in the story and less character analysis.

It was not exactly what I expected, but very good just the same; I guess I was expecting more of a Christmas story. The songs were original and written just for The Story. There was such an awesome mix of singers and I loved the fact that the songs were sung with duets and mixes that otherwise would not have occurred. There were very few familiar songs, but the songs were great and depicted the people of the bible in a unique way.
