The atmosphere was electric as normal for a big game whiteout. Despite the wind and rain, the upset was the icing on the cake for an unforgettable experience!

An amazing and electrifying experience! We had the opportunity for President's Box so did not use our tickets as purchased.

Buying tickets was a quick and easy transaction. Great map of stadium to pick seats, prices, and information clearly displayed. The only thing i didn't enjoy was went printing the tickets I had to waste a lot of ink on colored advertising taking up most of the page.

Penn state football is the best!! Since the 09 season hasn't happened ...I'll say the 08 season was a great time. No one tailgates like PSU

I thought the way the penn state football tickets were sold this year was an upgrade. The tickets had to be pre-registered for therefore cutting down the buying group to only the people who truly wanted them

I thought the whole process to get tickets for Penn State games was a piece of cake. I just followed directions and I got season tickets.

My daughter was at the beach. At 2 minutes until 8 PM she calls and says I have to get her tickets. I didn't have the proper password, but got great help from the Penn State Staff. We made it just in the nick of time. All my daughter could think of is sitting in her room while all her friends were at the games. Not sure what is better. Maybe having a daughter who planned ahead better!!

I would highly recommend purchasing tickets for any incoming or returning student. Football games are so amazing and you meet the best people ever. Paternoville is a must for all students and is an awesome Penn State tradition!

I never ordered tickets before but had to this year for the Penn State football student section this year. It's really easy to order tickets as long as you have everything ready in advance. Luckily, there was a link on TicketMaster that I followed that gave me detailed instructions on what to to both ahead of time and the time my time slot for ordering tickets opened. Overall, it's a great site!

I'm going to be a freshmen at Penn State this year, but I have watched and gone to Penn State games with my dad and brother since I was a kid. I am entirely excited and content about/with my Penn State season tickets!

I cannot wait for the season to start. Senior year would not be the same if I was not sitting in the best student section in the nation. I cannot wait for the nights games thats are upcoming, Iowa, because we want revenge and Ohio State becuase this year we are going to give it to them at home. Eight homes games is one of the best home field advantages in the entire nation and I am glad we have that many. Senior year I am looking to go out and style and graduate with a major bowl win and possibly the National Championship if all goes well. FOR THE GLORY

One of the best football experiences in country!!!!

Ordered in August seven tickets for the PSU / Indiana. Tickets from ticketmaster did not arrive and contacted ticketmaster via chat. The rep set the system up so that I could print the tickets on my printer. The real tickets from ticketmaster arrived later in the week. I took those up to the game instead of the paper copies and the real tickets from ticketmaster would not work. I was asked to go to the ticket office and stand in long lines for fans that had ticket issues. The tickets had to be reprinted and we ended up missing the entire 1st quarter and 5 touchdowns. To make matters worse, there wasn't enough room for our party as some fans were sitting in the wrong seat and or row. The tried to straighten the issue out but eventually gave up. This took up the entire 2nd quarter. Very disappointing and $780.00 down the drain. Although I am a long time ticketmaster customer, I use stubhub the next time.

Great time at Beaver Stadium. The PSU staff really know how to handle 105,000 fans.

We're undefeated! The traffic and parking lots were well organized for entry into this mid-day game. Traffic leaving the venue after the game was heavy, but what do you expect with over 107,000 fans? Can't wait for the next time.

Our bench seats were 2 rows from the top on the visitors side. Great view, away from band so could hear yourself talking. Tons of fun to see all of Beaver Stadium. PSU shellacked Akron to boot!

I was at the game routing for Michigan State. There was traffic, but that was expected. Easy to get to parking with all the attendants helping. Even though my team lost and we were showing our team colors, the home teams fans were all really pleasant with us. The Penn State band was fantastic as well. The hot chocolate was really good too because it was cold out. It was easy to get out of our parking and continue to home. In all, it was a very nice trip and visit to Beaver Stadium.

The atmosphere was incredible and by the second half, the Nittany Lions really had Michigan State's number!

This was hands down the most exciting game I've attended at Beaver Stadium. The crowd was great, the teams both played well, and Penn State pulled off a MAJOR upset of #2 ranked Ohio State! The fourth quarter couldn't have been more exciting.

it was freezing....my tickets for the 2nd to last row (highest) cost a third of my check.....but it WAS THE BEST PSU GAME I'VE BEEN TO! I've been to many, some we lost some won. some warm, some snow, some rain. happy valley is a place like no other. beating ohio....oh simply amazing.

If your a football fan it must be on your bucket List! 107,000+ fans that stand and sing all game long. It was the best crowd and venue I have ever been too! Great tailgating and easy access to and from the stadium.

As a fan of the visiting Buckeyes, the game didn't turn out in my favor, but.. This was my first trip to State College, and I couldn't have asked for a better weekend. The "White Out" is an amazing environment. An overwhelming amount of Penn State fans were very kind and welcoming. The best part about this event was the tailgating. Overall great atmosphere and will definitely attend a game here again. Great venue for a college football game!

If you have never been to a White Out game this is a must see event for college sports fans! The atmosphere is absolutely electric but who in their right minds ever gave PSU a chance against the almighty Buckeyes??!!! Seeing the team beat The Ohio State team under the lights and during a White Out game will be a moment never to be forgotten for the rest of my life.

It was the best day ever! Unforgettable! Priceless to see the entire stadium in a Whiteout! A chance of a lifetime.

In the words of my wife - for whom I purchased the tickets - this was way more than a football game, it was a very memorable event and experience. The Blue band and the Alumni bands were both on the field at the same time. The sound system in Beaver Stadium is the best anywhere. The fans are always remarkable. PSU came out and scored on their 1st drive and never looked back. Congrats to the PSU coaching staff esp Coach Franklin. PSU did not disappoint against MD.

Seats and game were great. I never sat in the upper deck but it was a great view.

Everything about the game was good, after we got to our seats nearing the end of the 1st quarter. We stood outside of the stadium for 75 minutes waiting to get in. Unfortunately PSU was either understaffed or did not have enough wands to Check everyone over. Sony missed the first quarter. They need to be more prepared for this. My suggestion is go even earlier or watch the game from home.

The stadium is very old and the quality of seats showed, hard metal bleachers without any legroom or back support, and I can not even begin to tell you the number of people I had to step on to get to it. By back, rear, and hamstrings were sore by halftime, and that's after leaning over the railing. It felt like people were being hurdled in like cattle. On the positive side the fans were passionate and are loyal to their team, yet didn't go over board. Also the game was close up until the forth quarter and stayed interesting. If Penn State would remove the bleachers and replace them with plastic chairs this review would be a five without question.

There was a mist througout the game but it never reaaly rained hard. Penn State played their best game in years. McSorley is a much better qb than Hackenburg. And of course Saquon Barkley is the best running back in college football. All in all a very enjoyable day for Penn State fans.

If you are a fan and have not been to a home Penn State football game, you owe it to yourself to go at least once in your lifetime. It is a whole day immersive experience that you will never forget. Rarely will you be at an event that can have at least 100K attendees in many cases. The game day vibe is everywhere and you will inevitably be caught up in it. Great opportunity to come back to Happy Valley on what we hoped would be a nice sunny Fall day. Not!! But the game was great and it's always nice to see the Blue Band and experience the energy of the crowd. I very much liked the ticket exchange which was handled by the PSU ticket office in prior years. Ticketmaster does an OK job, but a significantly higher price than past years. Also, there was confusion with the parking pass. That is sent by PSU, but purchased from Ticketmaster. The tickets showed up quickly but wothout the paid for parking permit, with no explanation. Only after calling was I told how it works....needs improvement

PENN STATE!!! It was Stripe Out day and the 50th Anniversary of Joe's first game as head coach. "Believe deep down in your heart that you're are destine to do great things." - Coach Joe Paterno.

The 8 hour drive down to State College when Michigan is in town is well worth it. A great setting for a friendly rivalry. The weather has been nice on most of my trips down there. Though the stadium is huge, a good view can be had form most of the seats. Getting into the stadium was quite busy as you have to keep walking up ramp after ramp with thousands of others. It seems like this could have been engineered better. All in all though, a great take. Go Blue!

Fifteen years since I had been able to make it to a home game, since I live in Michigan. So Awesome to finally get back to Happy Valley! Not only was it a Great game, State College Pennsylvania is such a Cool town! Especially during football season! So many cool places to eat, stay, or visit! Ticketmaster made the ticket purchase completely painless. The only reason I could not give a full five stars was the cost of game day parking. $40.00!! Had I purchased them ahead of time, they would have been $15. Ticketmaster should make an attempt to make consumers aware of this, or even offer parking passes at the time you purchase the tickets! That said, we had an Awesome time!! We'll be back in 2016!

This was difficult since some of my family went to Rutgers and some to Penn State. But I enjoyed the game immensely. I loved the way the seats were tiered in blue and white and we were assigned colors. Lots of spirit! And it's always fun to see a capacity crowd. I understand the need for clear plastic bags, but I think it would be easier for the fans to be allowed to buy the type of clear bags with handles that the NFL/AFL sell for their teams. Would also be profitable for the school.

What a great game! Had a great time as well !! The only downside to the whole game was the seating and human error. If you are buying tickets, please realize that odd seat numbers are to the left, and even seat numbers are to the right of the section. I had three tickets, seats 9, 11, and 13. Our section was actually overcrowded and we were all sitting on each other because a couple bought two more tickets thinking they would be together (20, 21, 22, and 23)...We had to do a shuffle a few times because people came to claim their seats when a few people didn't want to move. So we fit in a few extra people who didn't belong there. Friendly Tip:: buy all your tickets at one time, or settle with sitting somewhere other than with your friends ::

My son and I attended the game, great weather, great seats, great game. Tailgaiting was fun.

I have been to a penn state football game before, just not as a student, so I already knew what was in store for me. What I didn't know was that I would get amazing front row seats. This was by far one of my best expierences with penn state football and I CANNOT wait for the next home game. We are gonna blow navy out of the water!

You have to see a Penn State Football game before you die. Put it on your bucket list. The atmosphere is incredible, and the tailgating is some of the best in the land. The team is always competitive, and the food isn't priced too high compared to most stadiums. This is truly an amazing experience.

Our trip to State College and attending the PSU vs Kent State was AWESOME!! Beautiful day in the sun and PSU won. Who could ask for more?! We are going back next year. Also, our two night stay at the State College Ramada was wonderful. GO STATE!!

The Day was perfect...Great Weather, Great Friends and a Great Football Game. Son is a student at PSU and wife was a Student (Still a Loyal PSU supporter) and just an all around wonderful experience.

Football games at Beaver Stadium are incredible. This was the first one I have ever been to but it was amazing. The size of the crowd and energy of the fans is enough to get anyone excited about football. Everyone definitely needs to experience a Penn State football game at least once in their lifetime (but I guarantee if you go once you'll definitely want to go again).

The Sept. 19 matching of Penn State and Temple was more just fun in the sun for fans than any genuine grid iron contest. It was a beautiful day in State College as a big crowd watched the Owls struggle -- partly against their many mistake -- against one of America's traditional great college football teams. I'm a graduate of both universities, teach at Penn State and have taught at Temple, and serve on an executive board at Temple, so I was rooting for both teams and would have liked to see the Owls make a better stand than they did, although, despite Temple's many mistakes, those young men showed up, hit hard, and held their heads high under the titanic torrent of home-team cheers for the Nittany Lions that were meant, in part, to intimidate the Big City boys. At 31 to 6, it turned out not to be the bloodbath people expected. The best part was the fun of the game. The worst part was the number of Penn State events staff, police, auxiliary police and ushers who didn't know where our upper-deck seats were -- we walked the main concourse for about half an hour before we race-walked an apparently endless labyrinth of concrete ramps to the top of the stadium to our seats, courtesy of the clear directions of a kind and informed student. We pretty much know at this point how Temple's season will turn out. On Saturday, when State plays its first worthy opponents of the season, we'll see how Penn State's may go. Go Lions AND Go Owls!

Traffic was easy to navigate and the stadium is gorgeous. Parking was convient to walk to the stadium. Everyone should attend a Penn State game.

THERE ARE NO OTHER GAMES LIKE A PSU GAME. From the the fans to the players the Penn State football games present school pride and support like no other. Sometimes fans get out of control, but for the most part we are respectable and just looking to have a good time. There is tailgating, cheering, fans coming up with new waves, dancing, laughing, crazy outfits such as the penn state trooper, the lion, families, friends and more !!

Going to the Beaver Stadium to see one of the Penn State football games is something everyone should do sometime in their life. Penn State's crowd is full of excitement and pride. Getting tickets to see these football games and be a part of the crowd was undoubtedly worth the money and I will definately continue to buy season tickets.

Beaver Stadium, in the summer months it s sweltering, in the fall and winter it can brutally cold. But no one cares, when over 100,000 people start cheering WE ARE! PENN STATE! You forget all about your surroundings and become caught in the moment, a moment that lasts four quarters, a moment that is called the Greatest Show in College Football. We come to support our team, and support them we do. Try as I might, words cannot accurately describe the feeling at these games, electric is perhaps the best. The team feeds off of our enthusiasm, and our enthusiasm feeds off of the team. It s incredible, throw in the Blue Band and the picture is complete. This atmosphere of camaraderie and excitement is why you need to attend a Penn State home game. It s an experience you will never forget.

Penn State football is the best in the land. Between the Lion and the Blue Band there isnt a better student section in the country. I wouldnt miss a game for anything.

We arrived early so got parking within sight of the stadium. We walked past large areas with blue and other colored parking permits. We'd gladly pay more to park closer.
