Wow! What a fantastic show! Adam is mesmerizing ❤️ and Queen is still as superb as ever. The videos allowed Freddie to be a huge part of the show, which was so cool. The lights and props were incredible as well. If you get the chance, GO SEE THEM!!!

Didn't go expecting to see a Freddie impersonatior. Went to hear/see Adam's performance. He's a seasoned, professional who held his own and is THE EXCEPTIONAL, single best fit for the band and music they're carrying forward. I'd see them again & again. Fantastic show! NO INTERMISSION...

Have always loved Queen, super fan of Adam Lambert, have seen all their performances before on line, but this LIVE show blew me away!! My seats were excellent, the visuals were impressive, the catwalks and lights and lasers were so grand, but---Adam's stage presence is like no others, his vocals blew me away, the drum solos and May's guitar skills were everything I expected them to be, this was by far the single best concert I have ever seen. There will never be another Freddie, but, dayam, Adam Lambert is a true superstar. Best voice on the planet.

Excellent opening night concert. Adam Lambert is not Freddy Mercury but after awhile you won't care. A few technical glitches but those were easily overlooked. Spectacular special effects. Lambert's vocals soared when he let them. Once he gets Freddy's confidence there will be no stopping this Queen!

Words cannot express how emotionally moved I was by this performance! Adam Lambert wasn't good, he was INDESCRIBABLY AWESOME! I wanted to attend this event for Brian and Roger who were beyond words in description of the energy and love for what they do; but ended up also falling in love with Adam Lambert's respect, humble nature and overall endearing attitude. He is a true artist and performer and the relationship with Brian and Roger could be felt in utmost respect. I was left in tears many moments in the show and have utmost admiration for Adam, Brian and Roger. Long live Queen!

Queen + Adam Lambert was a great show! Adam Lambert looked amazing, he really knows how to work the stage and and he has the vocals to back it up. He doesn't have charisma, he IS charisma. Brian and Roger were also fantastic as expected. You could tell they were all having a great time on the stage together. Queen's music is timeless. Pure rock at its best.

Amazing! A once in a life-time experience! Even though Adam's no Freddie, he still did a fantastic job. Of course, Brian and Roger would have made it worth the trip all by themselves. Amazing set list, lighting, and stage performance. Only worthy of a five star rating.

I can't say enough about QUEEN + ADAM LAMBERT. I was fortunate enough to see this show in Nashville and in Cleveland, and saw the 2014 "Once in a Lifetime Tour" in LA, Detroit and Columbia MD. I thought nothing could top that 2014 tour. I predicted Adam would be their frontman way back at the Idol finale when he met and performed with Brian and Roger and assumed Adam would continue being my ROCK GOD after American Idol and their tour. I had a blog for a few years and complained that Adam wasn't getting the commercial success he deserved. His voice tops everything but I didn't think the songs released as singles showcased his voice. He needed a "Bohemian Rhapsody". In other words, a song that sounded like nothing else on the radio that only HE could sing. Adam released TWO FUX, his glammiest song ever and said his next album will be back to his GLAM ROCK ROOTS! THANK YOU BRIAN AND ROGER for nudging him in that direction. And THANK YOU FREDDIE MERCURY for inspiring him.

A simply amazing show with iconic rock legends Queen and with Adam Lambert, a perfect substitute for Freddy Mercury with his own flamboyant sense of style and amazing vocals. This was the 2nd- to-last show of the tour. If they were to even tour again, I couldn't recommend seeing them enough!!

Queen has been on my list for ages and I finally got to see them. The show was amazing. They played most of their hits. Roger and Brian have still got it after all these years. Adam Lambert is the perfect fit to sing lead vocals with them. His vocal range is truly impressive. It's good to see someone that has such respect for the band and Freddie to fill that position. My only complaint is that they started 40 minutes late. The laser show was awesome. 2 hours of greatness!

Great show - well polished - very professional - videos, lights and lasers very well done - Pink Floyd level - including the videos of Freddie singing with Brian and Adam were very special. Where to start..... The Queen concert is amazing from staging, to wardrobe, to lighting, special effects and talent is unsurpassed. Brian May and Roger Taylor remain magical. The soul, life force and the talent of these two is incredible and it doesn't hurt that Mother nature as been more than kind. Adam Lambert is pure talent, from his beautiful voice, to wardrobe choices, energy, and ability to entertain while bringing a personable element to the show. I have to admit, before the show, I held some resentment because I felt he was trying to be Freddie, which is an obnoxious and childless notion on my part. On top of having a huge vocal range and being a fabulous showman, he is self-deprecating,more humble than one might guess. He said (this quote may not be word for word) " I know you re thinking \u2018He s no Freddie Mercury. I know! I m a fan, just like you. Every night when I walk out on stage with these guys I think to myself \u2018Holy ." He spoke of wanting to keep Freddie's memory and music alive. Very touching, the humility certainly wins you over as does the beautiful voice and face. At one point Adam Lambert was in the crowd shaking hands, .... I mean off the stage and in the audience, another amazing moment. I love Freddie and Queen and Adam. This is a concert not to be missed. The show is fantastic, the talent amazing, and I believe Freddie's spirit is there, an energy and soul that will never die.

Great show from start to finish!! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it was only half of Queen. I know Freddy Mercury has been gone for years but, we didn't have the original bassist either, and let's face it, as good as Adam Lambert can sing, he's no Freddy Mercury; which he himself admits about 3 or 4 songs into the show.

So, I knew going in it wouldn't be the same, but when Adam Lambert came on stage, I got pissy- don't ask me why?? But then he addressed the elephant in the room and it was all good! I could enjoy the show! Brian May brought me to tears with "Love of My Life" & my all time favorite song ever, "Under Pressure" it was a great Show! Warning ⚠️ There are a few light sequences that might induce seizures or migraines. I don't understand why bands feel compelled to do this? It doesn't add to the experience! I just look away or close my eyes & I noticed a lot of other people doing the same, but overall the light show was very good. Intro was amazing!

One of the best concerts I have ever been to. The sound quality, screens, lasers, etc. we're absolutely perfect. The band and original Queen members did not disappoint. The set list kept the crowd going. I cannot say enough good things about this show. Adam Lambert did an outstanding job paying homage to the great Freddie Mercury. To my delight he did not attempt to sound like Freddie. He gave his own voice and spin to the songs. He is such a talented singer and his voice was phenomenal.

This was part rock concert/part "Vegas" show. Adam Lambert is a terrific showman and is/always has been a great match for the last remaining members of Queen. The band pays tribute to Freddie Mercury several times during the show, nice touch. The stage production/light show puts this concert over the top in terms of entertainment value. Adam Lambert was VERY engaging with the audience and Brian May's super selfie moment with the audience was great fun. The dual drum solo with Roger May and his son was also great.

This was my youngest daughter's first show and what a memory she'll have! The band was tight, the staging was epic, and Adam Lambert breathed life into Queen's catalog. The event was completely fun, it grooved at times, and it rocked hard most of the night. The band presented themselves for exactly who they are: lovers of classic rock and admirers of the late great Freddy Mercury...

In 1981, Queen was the first concert I ever attended. Freddie Mercury was electrifying and I remember having the time of my life. Never in my wildest dreams would I expect Adam Lambert to come close to Freddie's stage presence. The only reason why I went to this show was because my son wanted to. I'm not a fan of Adam's at all, and was worried that he would be too flamboyant for my taste. So I walked in with lower expectations than usual. What I experienced was not only a concert, but a show. The music was incredible - Brian May and Roger Taylor still bring it - and an amazing light show. Even the 20something African American ushers gave Brian May a standing ovation after his guitar solo. Adam brought a lot of energy and his voice was terrific. I would definitely go see them again and somewhere in the middle of the show, became an Adam Lambert fan

Adam and Queen were absolutely AMAZING. After my experience in Atlantic City, I was indeed very afraid of what to expect going into Newark. I will say I was a little disappointed with the response time when I wanted to upgrade our seats-- though that was mostly my fault for waiting so long so I'm not too mad about it.. Especially since after arriving at the venue and actually seeing where my seats were, I liked them much better than what I was trying to get. The view of the stage was perfect. Hearing Adam sing and Brian and Roger playing was an absolute dream come true. I can't wait for them to tour again to see them once more!

It was an honor to see some of the original members of Queen. They played all of the songs I wanted to hear. Adam did a great job trying to be his own version of Freddy. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars were, because their transitions from song to song was a little awkward, and the seats at the venue. (The following is about the seat, but was told it was too long) There was a lighting grid cable running from the floor to the ceiling. We got seats that were head on, can couldn't see some of the stuff because of the cable. I bought my tickets early enough to have gotten seats that weren't obstructed. There was no note on the tickets about the view being partially blocked.

I've been to at least 45 rock concerts and Queen is in my top 3. They interacted with the audience, played all their hits and really entertained the crowd. The special effects and the "big screen" video were great. They incorporated Freddie Mercury into the performance really well. Adam Lambert did an excellent job on vocals. Can't recommend this concert enough. If they come back to the States, I'll be sure to go see them again. We traveled from Washington State to see them in St. Paul, MN and it was truly worth it. I was skeptical at first never seeing Queen before and being a longtime fan. All was put to rest by Adam Lambert and his fantastic performance. He did a fabulous job making the songs his own and still giving a respectful nod to Freddy. They had a great stage set with their Robot from News Of The World as a central theme. They honored the late great Mr.Mercury with videos and duet done on screen. Brian May's guitar work was amazing, he also performed "Love Of My Life " with a beautiful rendition on acoustic guitar. Roger Taylor did his "I'm in love with my car", they all moved to a little mini stage on the ramp , adding to a already intimate show. The ramp and stage were shaped as a giant guitar. I would definitely see them again , a must see show. Rock on ,Ant

Can t believe I ve been a Queen fan for over 40 years! I m in ecstasy that Queen continues to bring an amazing stage performance with no let up in energy or quality. Queen s concert theme was the 40th anniversary of their News of the World album that features the anthemic We Will Rock You and We are the Champions. The stage was shaped like a guitar, with the neck and frets extending into the audience to provide a secondary stage. A large round screen enveloped the stage before the performance, with the Queen + Adam Lambert logo amidst a brick background. Smoke started pouring around the stage. The round screen lifted skyward as a large robot hand punched through the bricks, and the News of the World robot head emerged virtually through the hole. The robot s hands lifted the screen into place above the stage as We Will Rock You filled the air amid the audience screams. Adam Lambert rocked as the rousing Hammer to Fall featured Brian May s unrelenting guitar play and Roger Taylor s pounding drum play. Early on, Adam Lambert spoke respectfully of Queen and in reverence of Freddie Mercury. Despite his clear talent, he was humble and grateful to be fronting Queen. Lambert s vocal and theatrical energy, not to mention numerous costume changes, including wearing a crown and silver muscle shirt in the encore, paid homage to Freddie and his ostentatious stage presence without trying to imitate him. Queen and Adam Lambert have great chemistry together musically and in many other ways, often laughing and smiling together on stage, a refreshing sight to see. Lambert has his own style and energy that fits well with Queen and has grown better and better over the years. As the Killer Queen vocals arose, Lambert slowly emerged from below stage on a giant 12 robot head, complete with playful eyes. His tongue-in-cheek vocals were very reminiscent of Freddie s performances throughout the years. Adam Lambert s single, Two F**, provided a light-hearted diversion as its lyrics were displayed amid flowers on the jumbotron. Flowers were slathered all over the tricycle Lambert rode around the stage during Bicycle Race. Queen s humor is a welcome part of their overall stage presentation. Brian had a stereo selfie video cam that he used to display the entire audience from his point of view. The giant robot s numerous appearances on screen were entertaining and fun. Roger Taylor s vocals were exceptional in I m in Love With My Car. Wish he sang more lead vocals as his voice has a diverse strength that complements Adam, Brian, and Freddie. One of Queen s more endearing traits has been their ability to rock one minute and beautifully execute a ballad the next. Brian sang solo on Love of My Life as Freddie chimed in virtually from Heaven to finish off the tune on the round screen. Freddie faded as he exited stage left while his vocals wound up, as Brian May s eyes appeared to well up, taking his time to start the next song. Very touching. A raucous rendition of Get Down, Make Love was backed up by stylishly suggestive shadows on the red-lit curtains in the windows of what seemed to be an apartment building gone brothel. Part of the light show included clouds, rainbows, and other visual effects displayed above the audience. Spike Edney played keyboards, and Neil Fairclough was on bass in lieu of the retired John Deacon. I was disappointed that Roger s son Rufus was unable to tour with Queen this time-around due to conflicts with his own band. Tyler Warren ably replaced him and did not disappoint on the dueling drum solos with Roger playing on the small stage and Warren on the main stage. The Robot s hand lifted up Brian May about 20 feet off the stage for his, as always, amazing guitar solo. Brian s fingers flew over the Red Special as it sings out stellar riffs backed by a mind-blowing laser light and video spectacle. Not least among the audience participation songs was Radio Gaga, showcased by the giant robot clapping overhead with the audience, reminiscent of the classic video. Nice to see the female Metropolis robot as well, as Queen performed on the 1984 soundtrack to the Fritz Lang classic film. Bohemian Rhapsody concluded the regular set as usual, with exquisite guitar work and vocals. Freddie chimed in to finish off the song, a newer tradition in Queen stage works. The many Freddie contributions throughout the show were welcome. Brian played the encore in a Chicago flag T-shirt. Happy 70th Birthday to Brian May on Wednesday, July 19th, and Happy 68th Birthday to Roger Taylor the following Wednesday! Fittingly, the giant robot ended the set by waiving goodbye to the audience before lowering the screen back down to the stage in a bittersweet gesture. As always, Queen left me energized - can t wait for their next show!

I bought the ticket for this show with some caution, because as far as I was concerned, it's not really Queen, since bassist John Deacon and obviously Freddie Mercury wouldn't be there. I had seen this outfit the last time they came through the area, with Bad Company singer Paul Rodgers handling the vocals, and while I'm a big fan of Paul's, I felt that his style of singing was a poor fit for Queen's grandiose, operatic sound. He's great, he's just not anywhere near as flamboyant as their songs require. So, enter Adam Lambert. I wasn't a fan, but I was willing to give him a shot, primarily because in the five plus years he's been singing with original members Brian May and Roger Taylor, the reviews have been really good, and so here we are. A friend of mine saw the show at the Hollywood Bowl a few weeks before and was really impressed, and like me, he's no Lambert acolyte. I'm happy to say that the show was a success, despite the fact that I had a few hopes for the setlist that didn't come to pass--certain songs I would've preferred in place of others, but that happens at almost every show. For the most part, the songs that were performed were done brilliantly. The staging was really elaborate--the show begins with a near-3D effect using video screens, and later on, there are a lot of lasers, and a cool overhead lighting rig that doubled as a three-tiered video screen for those of us not in the first several rows--but that wouldn't mean anything if the performance wasn't solid, and thankfully it was. Despite having an idea of what to expect because of what my friend told me, I was still really surprised. Adam is a great fit, and even if his voice isn't in the same stratospheric league as Freddie's was, I was very impressed with the range he did have--and the style with which he performed. Both Adam and Brian made it quite clear during the times they spoke directly to the audience that this show was a tribute to Mercury in general, and that Lambert wasn't a replacement, specifically. Whether or not that's true, I really enjoyed myself, and judging from where I sat, it looked like the clearly sold-out audience did, too. Freddie did make a few appearances, on video screens during a few songs, particularly during set closer "Bohemian Rhapsody", in a really creative way, especially at the end of the song. I will say that I didn't care for Lambert's solo tune "Two ***". It was deliberately 'in-your-face' without being clever, and the melody did nothing for me. I was a little disappointed that it was in the setlist at all, because all I could think of during its performance were the names of Queen songs I would much rather have heard instead. Thankfully, it was just one song--if there were more like it, I would definitely knock the rating down at least another star. Seeing "Who Wants To Live Forever" performed live was cool. Since it's from a soundtrack (1986's "Highlander"), I didn't expect it, and Adam nailed the soaring vocal perfectly, silhouetted in a sea of lasers. The concert was visually spectacular, the acoustics were perfect, the performance excellent, and yes, I'd go see them again.

I've been to more shows in my life than I could possibly count and this was the best produced show I've ever seen. I didn't want to miss a second....no drink runs, no bathroom breaks. It was pure rock and roll at its finest. Loved the respect that Adam gave Queen for allowing him to live out a fantasy, and the respect from Queen to Adam for allowing them to do something they never thought they'd be able to do again once Freddie was gone. I cannot think of another person alive that could have done what Adam has done in playing homage to Freddie Mercury. Definitely worth the money and a show I would pay to see again!!

I saw this event a few years ago when they were in Chicago and it was great, but this far surpassed the first concert. Such exhilarating performances by Brian, Roger and Adam. Loved the solos and the tributes to Freddie Mercury. Special effects were awesome, as were the wardrobe changes by Adam! This was probably the best concert I have ever attended.

My 17 year-old Daughter is in love with Freddie! It's been her dream to see her favorite band, Queen. So, we drove from Nashville TN to Kansas City to see Queen on July 9th. The show was everything we dreamed it would be and more! We loved it so much we drove to Chicago to see them again a few days later. Seeing Brian and Roger was a dream come true, and they rocked every note! Adam was also amazing, delivering every song with power, heart, and emotion. We will always cherish this experience and remember these shows as the best we've ever seem! Thank you Brian, Roger, and Adam.

I saw Queen March of 1976, saw them with Paul Rogers and now this. Of course Freddie is the king and will always be "Queen", but Adam did Queen proud. Brian and Roger, come on does it get any better then them? Put those three together with classic rock and you have one hell of a show. The stage presentation was outstanding the use of Freddie for three songs or parts of rheee songs was a class act. The xcel was alive with memories of Queen of the past and this time, they loved up to the memories. If you get a chance, go see this because they will really rock you.

Although they were 35 minutes late, worth the wait. Fabulous. The whole show was phenomenal. Brian and Roger killed it. Adam has the flare, style and awesome vocals to keep Freddy's music alive. Queen rocked the Excel.

First time seeing Queen in concert. Feel a little ownership of Adam Lambert having rooted for him during American Idol. Loved the "Freddie" add-ins. Bryan May is amazing. Playing all their hits and I really liked AL's new song. Great show! See it if you can!

From first drum beat to last, Queen+ Adam Lambert set hearts racing and pulses pounding.Brian May is a guitar genius, Roger Taylor a drum master. Neil, Spike and Tyler are excellent assets. Adam Lambert is perfect with this band. He gets it. Adam's vocals are beyond belief! Oh, yeah there were amazing computer graphics and animations as well as laser lights. In my opinion that group of men could have performed on a bare stage and still have blown everyone away.

Fantastic. As a frame of reference, I also saw Queen in 82 with Freddie Mercury. While no singer can replace him, Adam Lambert did an incredible job. Brian May and Roger Taylor still have it! The setlist was balanced, the lights were incredible, and the sound was probably the best I have ever heard. It was the best show I have seen in many years.

Queen w/Adam Lambert July 2nd @The Rogers Arena - First time seeing Queen since the 1978 Jazz Tour. They played 2 and half hours playing 27 songs. Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor are the 2 lone original members. My wife says it was her best ever concert and I would have to agree. Pretty much had everything you could want from a rock show - great musicianship/vocals, sound, lighting and great use of technology- one of the highlights was during Brian May's acoustic segment with a video overlay of Freddie singing with Brian, where Brian got visibly emotional (still early in the tour so it could be real). Another "Freddie moment" was when a video of him led everyone in a "Day Oh" chant. Of coarse Adam was phenomenal, as he told the audience "You may be saying "He's no Freddie", of coarse I'm not, I'm a fan like you, only I have the really expensive seats and get to wear really gay suits" . But Adam is a great vocalist in his own right and really shined in Bohemian Rhapsody and We Are The Champions. My favorites was May's guitar solo with accompanied wild video and visuals, the drum battle between Roger and his son the percussionist. And the encore, I would never think after hearing We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions so many times it would move me but it did. The crowd was all up singing, visuals were all going and the singing phenomenal, truly "goose-bump" moment. My only disappointment is they played nothing from the first 2 albums and only 2 from Sheer Heart Attack, Stone Cold Crazy and Killer Queen. The night was song heavy with Jazz (Fat Bottom Girls, Don't Stop Me Know, Bicycle), News of The World (It's Late, Spread Your Wings, We Will Rock You and Champions), The Game (Another One Bites the Dust and Crazy Little Thing Called Loved) Also played a hilarious song by Adam, Two Fux, where he intro-ed it by saying "One of the great things about Freddie was he owned the staged and didn't give two Fuxs". Another highlight was the David Bowie tribute of Under Pressure done extremely well by Adam. So yes I would say it was one of the best shows I have ever seen, if not THE best.

Mr Lambert shows great respect and care while performing the timeless songs of Queen. He makes sure we know how humble and appreciative he is being able to stand up there and perform. He does an incredible job and is a talented man. Queen still reigns supreme. But beware it is an older audience and some people do not appreciate overly enthusiastic audience members who yell and sing at a rock concert.

I grew up listening to rock and roll in the 70s and 80s. I remember hearing Queen songs and seeing video of Freddy singing when I was a kid. I thought they were ahead of their time. My wife and I took our 13 year old daughter to see Queen with Adam Lambert and were very impressed. The drummer and lead guitarist were still running around and jamming. It seemed like they still had genuine rock and roll fever. Lambert had an extraordinary voice and was the perfect fit to replace the late Mercury. Our daughter now has the fever after her first live show so Queen succesfully created another fan of great music.

This was an amazing show...one of my favorites...my first time seeing Queen...if/when they tour again I will be there 2 issues: 1. The merch lines were 30 min long...more booths, more staff...do something...all 4 booths were swamped 2. The concert started 38 min late. The time on the ticket said 8pm, but 8:38pm is when it actually got going...be true to the commitment...if you want to start at 8:30pm put it on the ticket...but be on time (the 8 min is annoying but ok)

I have attended more than 10 Adam Lambert concerts and events and he has never ever failed to exceed my expectations. He is the ultimate performer--captivating, exuberant, flawless vocals and high spirited. He is able to channel the message, the emotion and the mood of each song so authentically. This is a talent and a gift that many great artists do not possess. If you have never seen him perform live, do yourself a favor and go. I promise you will not regret it because every single person I know who have gone to see him have experienced this euphoric transformation and conversion!

Queen and Adam Lambert put on a good show that felt lacking in some respect. Some songs the cut short but then other sins went long with solos. Also, I missed John Deacon; there was no mention of him at all.

I go to many concerts and I have to say hands down this was the best concert I've seen in like 20 years!! Maybe more . Queen was my first ever concert when I was 12! I was anxious to see how Adam Lambert would do and I have to say he was totally amazing! Made it his own. The original members Brian and Roger are legendary still. I loved how they played such a beautiful tribute to Freddie Mercury. Don't miss this show ... mesmerizing.
