It was a great show. It was my first time at the masquerade since they have moved to underground and the venue was great. A great view of the show from wherever you are on the floor. Security was on top of every situation that arose. There were two more bands that weren't billed that were good and made it a bonus to show up early. Trivium blew the roof off of the place with arch enemy a very close second. While she sleeps was a great band that I had never heard or but now own two albums from them. Overall an excellent night.

The venue was fine, of course. Arch Enemy's performance was anti-climatic and obviously lip synced. If I pay money for a performance, I want to hear the real thing. The first two bands were better than Exodus and Arch Enemy in my mind.

So this was one of the most intense shows i have ever been to and it did not disappoint at all. Each of the four bands played perfectly and really were able to make the crowd a part of the show. The Nokia Theatre in itself helped as well with its personal atmosphere it only increased how good this show was. For anyone looking to see Mutiny Within, Exodus, Arsis, or Arch Enemy on this tour it is an absolute must and for anyone just looking to go to the Nokia Theatre in the future that is a must too it is a smaller venue but set up extrememyl well. The sound in the venue is excellent the way the bars, bathrooms, and the merchandise tables are set up keep the venue from being over crowded and makes it easy to get around which is an awesome add on. Overall two thumbs up amazing.

Mutiny Within, the event's first band all have a high level of playing ability-this impressed me especially given their young age but the vocal style of "ripping" it mixed with this pop/emo/crooning thing is really annoying. He has a good scream-he should just mix in different registers of that scream or if he wants to go clean-pick a different key. Arsis was freaking killer! I saw them two years ago with exodus and they didn't impress me that much as a band even though the main dude's guitar playing has always been stellar. Last night not only looking in better shape physically his guitar playing was even better if that's possible! And his new second guitarist was a level up from his last second guitarist and songs as a whole were better this time-I am now a fan and would love to see them again!!!! Exodus was the reason I went to this event and they of course did not disappoint. Their live performance brought the most energy out of the crowd. My only critique would be that the rhythm guitar parts sounded "muddy". The volume was up which of course is good but if up too much you can't distinguish the notes, power chords, phrasing etc. This affected the catchiness of the catchy riffs. Get it right guitar techs!!! Arch Enemy was great!!!!!!!!!!-from the playing ability to the guitar tone to the songs to that hot babe who could really hang with any male metal vocalist out there. The drum solo and guitar solo were also refreshing as well. Will be downloading and/or buying much of their music which as of right now I have none. O and yeah I would love to see them again!!

I loved all the bands. Arch Enemy was the best. The only thing I hated was they didn't play a encore. They only had two songs left and they couldn't play them cause of the time limit.

Awesome event, even though the Nokia Times Square Theater has all the charm of a factory floor. Way too stylish for Metal. Arch Enemy are one of my favourite bands, but I can't help feeling that they got usurped by Exodus on this night. The old-school trashers grabbed the audience by the throat and never let up, ripping through their songs with an seemingly endless amount of energy. Arch Enemy were polished, dare I say too polished, and did not play an obligatory encore. Even though they rocked hard and were super tight (sound was ther best of the night too) it felt a little bit like they were just doing their job.

The concert was awesome from the opening band to headliners! I've seen Arch Enemy & DevilDriver several times in the past so their fantastic performances were nothing new. Chthonic & Skeletonwitch put on a fun show as well - my first time seeing them. My only complaint about this show was the technical difficulty with the keyboardist during Arch Enemy's performance (which apparently "always happens when they're in L.A.") because it took away from the full sound they usually had, but they worked with what they had and played some killer songs off Doomsday Machine - my favorite AE album!! This was my first time at the Club Nokia and I LOVED the venue!!!! I will definitely be returning for more concerts there. Parking was easy to find, the venue was not overly crowded or stuffy - the atmosphere and space were perfect! Thank you for an amazing night!!!!

It was a great lineup!!! Its very rare to see such great bands play together and not overshadow each other. The sets were great, I was at the very front near the stage and I rarely had to deal with people crowd surfing. I just wish the bartenders would have better costumer service and not beg for a tip. The security at the door were very respectful and not rude at all, this was my first time at this venue and I will definitely be back if they book more metal bands.

When you have one of the heaviest metal bands opening for one of the most melodic metal bands, Angelinos might get too baked to appreciate the latter. DevilDriver is a badass band, especially when the badass headliner Arch Enemy says they are.

This was probably one of the best metal shows I've been to in the NYC area. Energy in the building was through the roof. I came alone but as with all metal shows, everyone is friends. Nothing really out of the ordinary but I feel like the price I paid to see these bands was way too cheap but hey I'm not complaining. Even the warmup bands were bad ass. And instead of just 1 encore song Arch Enemy played around 4 for us. Cheap booze, Amazing acoustics, and a general overall great venue. Crowd surfing and the pit were just so incredible. This is one kick ass tour they've put together. Would recommend to any metal fan, especially death metal fans.

Best small theater metal experience each year they are in town. Mosh pit and crowd surfing were awesome. Of course Archenemy just wins over everyone. Nice crowd. Lots of sexy ladies (for a metal concert) and a crazy loud and wild time. Super expensive bar, but its NYC times sq, so its what you expect. I will always come back to see archenemy here, totally worth it!

This is the first time I went to an arch enemy concert and I had high expectations. I'm not sure why, I'm assuming it's because they shared their set with the band before them, but it seemed to me like they only played for about an hour and left. They put on a great show, but it was way too short for me to rate it a 5 star. I didn't drive 3 hours to see devildriver, I drove 3 hours to see Arch Enemy. Not bitching at Arch Enemy, bitching at whoever gave them that short play time.

We went to the show expecting to have a great time and we did-as always. I hadn't seen Arch Enemy live and was really looking forward to it. Arsis was a band I also wanted to see, but the sound sucked. The drums were muddy and the vox were turned down to low. Exodus was great as always--but same complaints. The vox were turned down to low. When Arch Enemy finally took the stage after waiting for them to set up for almost an hour--the vox were too low and the volume was way too high for the venue. Overall it was still a good show and I would go again. But, the price of the tickets was way too high for what we got. Next time the Showbox should actually listen to their sound checks.

To start Mutiny Within was way more awesome than I thought; I am glad I showed up sooner than expected. Arsis followed with a fantastic set. Exodus was everything I wanted...they were my introduction to metal. And Arch Enemy was better than last time, and last time, and last time...things to get better with time. If any of these bands shows up in Seattle again I will definitely be going.

The energy Arch Enemy delivers is nothing less then spectacular. This is my third time seeing them, and it just gets better every single time. Their performance was tight, energetic, engaging, and massive. The only reason I didn't give the evening a full five stars is that the sound mix for Showbox was less than expected. Their mix at other venues was superior to Showbox. Never the less, it was a fantastic evening of metal.

First off, the Nokia Theatre is a great venue to enjoy concerts with their state-of-the-art sound system and comfortable atmosphere. I was late to the show so I missed Mutiny Witihing but made it in time to see Arsis on stage. Their fast-paced electric rhythm enveloped us with their hot hellish melodies. Then, a perfect band to warm us up for the headliner, none other than Exodus! These guys are still powerful and full of life as they were back in the eighties. The audience slammed back and forth to their music to which they ended their set by having the frenzied mass attack each other Braveheart-style. Last but not at all the least, Arch Enemy exploded on stage and ignited the air with their shrill guitar solos and phenomenal vocals. To highlight their set, performed was a drum solo that rocked me off of my feet! All in all, it was a metalhead's wet dream to which I would want to experience over again.

This was a great show but we had to leave because of the sound quality. I LOVE Trivium! That is the main reason. That I bought the tickets. They sounded great!! We stayed for Arch Enemy even though we aren't too familiar with their songs. Unfortunately, we had to leave early because the sound was terrible. The music overall was good but the bass and reverb was so intense it gave us headaches. Disappointed!

This show was amazing! Best Trivium tour I've been too, down to the opening bands! I highly recommend catching a show on this tour! The only thing that was kind of "eh..." To me was the Trivium VIP. It was rushed through, not like their VIPs used to be at all! You got maybe 30 seconds with the band, Matt Heafy barely had time to shake my hand. It was the quickest meet and greet I've ever bend to for the price. But I'm still giving the show itself 5 stars, you don't wanna miss it!!

I've been into Arch Enemy for a long time now. Several months ago they changed lead singers. I wasn't sure how much the change would effect how I felt about the band, but I was a fan of Alissa when she was with The Agonist, and I really enjoy the new Arch Enemy album. After seeing the show last week, I'm very impressed. Arch Enemy is a fantastic, high energy live show. Loved them when Angela was the singer, and still love them with Alissa. Keep up the great work.

The venue is too small and cramped. Pay for a seat upgrade upon arrival to sit on the balcony and avoid being smothered and pushed all night. Getting there (walking through downtown disney) was a little bit of a pain too. Probably wouldn't go back to this venue due to location and size. Kreator and Arch Enemy sounded amazing as always. The sound quality was great. Arch Enemy's new singer really was a let down though, I felt like I was at a kiddie concert with her punk look and playing air guitar and every guitar solo.

First off I'd like to thank Arch Enemy for coming to the area to play I never thought they would. Now for the show, they played not only well but their performance was so energetic it casted itself amongst the crowd. Each song they played went smoothly, the equipment sounded great, they kept the night going well. I really enjoyed the line up they had and how interactive the band was. Some might say I am boosting this review too much, but I digress. I've been to a good few amount of shows and some just didn't live up to the crowd. You might love a band but you can tell when they play to just be done. Arch Enemy is awesome in concert don't even think of going just go. One negative thing is I wish the line up was better yeah they were ok but it would have been nice to get some better metal bands in there I didn't think their opener Kreator was good the crowd seemed to love them but they weren't to my taste. It would've been awesome if they got Amon Amarth to play. This ends my review metal for life!
