PAUL RODGERS IN CONCERT:Legendary British rocker Paul Rodgers has one of the most impressive voices in rock music. From his time fronting bands like Free and Bad Company to his recent stint singing with Queen, Rodgers has remained a legend for his tough-as-nails voice and colorful showmanship. On tour in 2013, he made it clear that time has done nothing to mellow his vocal prowess, flooring fans with classic hits from his catalog alongside soul covers that showcased his prodigious range. The Voice! Truly amazed at how beautiful the mans voice is. You must catch him live, he puts on a brilliant show with the best musical talent (Howard Leese, Todd Ronning) backing him up.

Paul was excellent as always. The best rock & roll voice a classic rock singer, hell, a blues singer could have. One of my favorites.

Paul was as dry as toast to his fans. He's all about the money. If your not part of his tour...He won't meet & greet you. You have to donate to his chairites for him to sign anything. He's outgrown himself. I'm no longer a fan. Not my Rock & Roll fantasy anymore. He needs to treat the people who made his career better. Go see Eddie money....born in the USA....loves his fans.

So disappointing - acoustics so bad we couldn't even hear Paul Rodgers singing. Very insulting to this icon to have to endure such amateur accommodations. We will continue to follow Paul Rodgers to the end of the earth, but we will never return to the Hilton in Atlantic City.

A strong show. Paul played a little less then 2 hours. He covered songs from his Free days as well as Bad Company. He sounds great and moves all around the stage. The band was in good form as well.

Perhaps it's our age, but it seems the level of bass and the overall volume level were both excessive. Could have been our seats in the third row stage left that contributed to this impression as well. Paul Rodgers doesn't seem to have lost a beat, although the wife and I both enjoyed watching the DVD at home more than the live event.

Paul Rodgers is the best rock singer perfoming some of the greatest rock songs of all time. He brings an infectious enthusiasm to the stage that makes the place go crazy. He also surrounds himself with a band dedicated to playing every song at the highest level, giving it everything they have. This show was phenomenal. Everybody had a great time. I would have preferred more "Free" music mixed in.

Paul Rodgers put on an excellent show as expected. He did a mix of Bad Company, Free, and solo album tunes. On guitar was Howard Leese formerly of the band Heart, Lyn Sorenson on bass, drummer (not known). He had a full house at this venue. The crowd was going crazy on such songs as "Rock Steady", "Don't You Know (that you are a superstar), "I Feel Like Making Love", "Bad Company", and "Fire and Water". You could tell he has been doing this for a very long time. He was very natural on stage and knew how to work the crowd. I would definately go see him again. Hopefully at the same venue. We had a great time.

Once again Paul Rodgers puts on an unforgettable show to a capacity audience. Right from the opening number and through the extended encore, he had the audiences complete and undivided attenion. Every song sounded fantastic and Pauls voice sounded stronger than ever. A must see show for anyone. The best. Ernie and the Automatics as an opening act was a suprise for me and a pleasant one at that. One of the best opening acts I have seen in a long time. I would pay to see them as a headliner anytime. Their original music was simply awesome even though I had never heard them before. And then to end with a Boston tribute was out of this world. They had the crowd on their feet. Just an amazing sound. Five stars

Ernie and the Automatics, the opening act were fantastic! It was a real treat to get a Boston medley of songs and then to get the VOICE Mr. Paul Rodgers was simply the icing on the cake! Paul is great no matter who he sings and plays with, Howard Leese, Lynn Sorenson, Queen, Slash Brian May, Neal Schon any of those guys! Paul proved yet again he is probably the greatest rock/ blues vocalist ever!! He can and does sing anything and he did it again bringing Jimmy Hendrix 's Little Wing again to a level never seen or heard quite like it before except when he recorded the Hendrix Set. One point of criticism was that the amplifyer level was set way too high and the volume really muffled the full tenor of his voice at times so it seemed that he was competing with the guitar for projection. A guy like Paul Rodgers NEEDS to be heard over the instrumentals. a venue like Hampton Beach casino ballroom doesn't need the same sound level as a Stadium. Its more of a beer hall/ intimate setting where the acoustics really are much more geared to project well with less amp. I'm going to see Bad Co. on the 27th at the Bank of America Pavillion in Boston. Can't wait! Rock it Paul!

Paul Rodgers at the Hampton Beach Club Casino was the best concert of the summer so far. You recognize every song they play. His band was great. The only big hit they didn't play was Silver Blue, and Gold. I love that song, but they don't do it live very often. Feel Like Making Love, Bad Company, Run With The Pack, Can't Get Enough, Shining Star and Free's, All Right Now came out awesome. Ernie and the Automatics were great. They did a memorable Boston medley. Band members Barry Goudreau and Sib Hashem were from the band Boston. Brian Maes is the lead singer and keyboard player. He was in RTZ with Brad Delp and Barry. Overall a great show!

Amazing, Five Stars, Paul Rodgers a living legend. All the Bad Company music with a few extras was just amazing. He was on rolling stones list of top 100 male singers of all time but I would say top 5 easy. His voice is still right there, perfect tone never a crackle. Awesome seats within 100 feet anywhere in the place. The audience was a little older then I thought it would be, But with Paul doing this for so many years I can see why. I hope he keeps on rocking for as long as us old timers can keep up with him. I would say he puts on an unforgettable show that all should see!!!!!

Paul Rodgers in concert. Of note the opening was quite good. Ernie and The Automatics started of with a blues set that included tunes from the current and Cd right before it. The highlight for me was a 20 + minute tribute to Brad Delp. For those not familiar. The lead guitarist for Ernie and the Automatics is Boston's Barry Goudreau. So as you can imagine the Boston sound was in full force throughout this great medley. This was very well recieved by the audience. Paul Rodgers - what can I say even after 4 decades of rockin...there is no quit in this man. Vocally he sounded in great form, taking us through a typical Badco set, then moved into works he did with Jimmy page and The Firm. He though in some Free numbers that got the audience rockin as well, as a tribute to jimi Hendrix which, fo me, owing his great Hendrix Set CD, was excellent to hear performed live. As for the venue, as always The Hampton Beach Casino, did not disappoint. Not only are there no bad seats in the house, but the sound is crystal clear. Great event, I waited a long thime to see Paul Rodgers - well woth the wait!!

This is the 2nd time I've seen Paul perform, the first time was with Simon Kirke and that version of Bad Company about 10 years ago. Paul can still sing better than singers half his age. Paul Rodgers never disappoints as a live rock singer - musician. Having seen him solo, with Bad Company & Queen, he always seems to genuinely enjoy his trade & this sweaty Hampton Beach show was no exception. Offering up a healthy dose of the best of early Bad Co. & even a touch of Hendrix covers was in tune with the expectations of a crowd longing for the days of pared down, authentic rock & roll on a hot summer night. Paul looks and sounds the same, portraying an agelessness and power, which we all need in a time of constant stress. Thank you again to a master performer / musician. Opener Ernie & the Automatics set the stage with a couple of the former Boston group members in the band ending up with a fantastic medley of Boston hits dedicated to recently-departed member Brad Delp.

I saw Paul Rogers perform with Queen 3 years ago it was awsome Last nights show Paul Rogers at Hampton Beach was the best rock concert i have ever seen he put it all out there performing hit after hit and the crowd sang every song. He is the voice of classic rock fronting the band Free ..then Bad Company...The Firm then in 2006 touring with rock legends Queen. His vocals shook the building last night . The wait staff were mostly young girls in their 20's and they knew the words to almost every song singing along as they waited on a very happy rocken pretty much packed crowd at the casino at Hampton beach this is without a doubt one of the best places to see a concert . It was a fantastic way to kick off my vacation

I always think about how a performer must feel when they're rocking their hardest and the crowd remains seated like they were watching a symphony or a Blu-Ray from their well-worn couch. In this case, Paul, who is as old or older that most who attended this concert didn't break out a stool once. He rocked like he always has. If you were part of the crowd that didn't give Paul the support he deserved from a real rock fan, you should be feeling the shame and owe him apology. You also may think twice twice about sitting near the stage and leave those seats for the living.

From his singing | song writing days with 'Free' back in 1970, continuing that craft as a founding member of 'Bad Company', to his current solo work and recent CD, Paul Rodgers has had an iconic 45 year career (not a 1 year career of hits played over the course of 45 years). His voice | songs are the soundtrack of the 'baby boom' generation. Howard Leese on lead guitar (founding member of the rock hall of fame group, 'Heart') was stunning, and like fine wine, only gets better with age. The bass player and drummer were also amazing! Real pro's.

Paul Rodgers is one of the best singers in the history of Rock. It is unfortunate that he and Bad Company have not been elected into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Given his all time classic hits from Free such as All Right Now, Fire and Water, The Stealer; Bad Company songs/anthems such as Can't Get Enough of Your Love, Ready for Love, Feel Like Makin' Love, Running with the Pack, Seagull, Rock n Roll Fantasy etc. etc. it seems almost impossible that he/they have been overlooked. This seems especially unfair since they are still a great live act. Paul Rodgers voice, physique and energy are way too good for someone his age. This show was proof of that. Great seats, great show, wonderful summer night that I will always remember!

I am admittedly a Steppenwolf fan--have been for years; however, as terrific as their set was, I was ecstatic when I found that Paul Rodgers was lead singer for Bad Company, and they are even more a FAVORITE BAND of mine. I was with my sister and we could not sit still through even one song. They were all favorites, and of course absolutely timeless--possibly even better now than they were when they were aired. It was a wonderful treat to be listening to one of the best live music performances to which I've ever been, and I'm grateful to have been part of it. It was a highlight of my life.

The venue was excellent with a great view from section 11 seats, lots of legroom, two large monitors either side of the stage, full sound distribution for some cutting guitar solo's and clarity of Paul's voice as he hit the high notes while demonstrating a wide range and nice "timber". A classic rock vocalist with impeccable timing and resonance to suit the upbeat material or softer songs. Virtuoso skills on accoustic guitar, blues harp and piano throughout a one and one half hour concert plus a couple encor's. The climax had the crowd on their feet, clapping / dancing and took me back to the 70's in England with Free,------------all right now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Though they were twenty minutes late starting the show, it was a great concert. Paul sounds much like he did in his twenties and kept the audience on ther feet for most of the concert. The mike flying off the stand while he was twirling it was an eye opener in the first song. It is unfortunate that he couldn't play more of the Bad Company songs than he did. But, he only played for an hour and twenty minutes. Though short it was a great show.

I know everyone has the favorite music and would defend it to anyone who didn't share their love for it but when you think of Paul Rodgers his music needs no justification. Paul put forth his soul & energy with no holds barred. Two encores ending with Paul singing "Walk in My Shadow" awesome. Overall a night to remember. Not many classic rock artists can capture the essence of how it might have sounded in the early days but we all just stood back and listened and it was 1974 all over again. If anyone ever has a chance to see Paul today I would highly recommend checking him out and he will give you a high reference point of what a true rock show man is all about.

Paul Rogers rocked the Pac Amp on 7/27/11 with a set, about equally split, from Free and Bad Company. With strong vocals and a rock solid supporting band, the show demonstrated Paul's ability to deliver song after song that sound fresh despite being "classic." All Right Now, it was.

Excellent show and Paul and his band sounded "spot on" ....I was just transported back to the UK when I sang in a recording band called Hector and we covered 3 Bad Company songs and 2 Free numbers ...including ...All Right now... I was singing at the top of my lungs and enjoyed the show tons!!..Well maybe one day I will be back on stage again...and if I do ....I really hope I sound just half as good as Paul... ya baby ya!!

Paul Rodgers was at his best Wednesday night at the Pacific Amphitheater. Primarily drawing on his extensive catalog of hits from his days as the leader of Free and Bad Company, the only person who might be disappointed is a fan of his solo work. His commitment to children was evident as he raffled off concert-used equipment to support the Kids Rock Free program. He also very generously matched the take from the raffle tickets out of his own pocket. Always humble, he was very appreciative of the (small) crowd that cheered him on routinely after every song.

This artist has so much timeless material that he could play for twice the time, and he always looks fresh and gives the audience his best. Paul is definitively a living legend! Don't ever miss him, as it is an unforgettable show!

I would of given this a higher "Star" rating if he had started on time. Being at this venue you only have a limited amount of time (I believe the artist can only play till 10:00 pm), the artist really needs to start on time. The show was suppose to start at 8:00 then we received an email stating the show would start at 8:15 (which is not a problem) but Paul did not take the stage until 8:30. To me that 15 minutes equated to about 2-3 songs he could have performed. SOOOOOOOOOO under than the above Paul can still rock and bring the house down!!! I would of loved for him to play a little bit longer. I would go see him again.

This was my first Paul Rodgers concert and I was NOT disappointed! I drove solo for 4 hrs. to finally see him perform. I have been a fan since "Free", and he has truly only gotten better with time. I had great 7th row seats, and rocked out with the rest of the fans through the whole show! I have been lucky enough to have seen over 3 dozen different performers over the years, this concert was right there at the top of the list....if I could give it more than the 5 stars, I definitely would! Excellent....excellent....excellent!

Paul Rodgers can still rock!! I could have listened to him sing all night. He kept the audience involved during the whole set. It was great to hear so many people singing along. I have seen him several times over the years and he keeps mixing it up with Bad Company and Free songs! I loved hearing him do Walk in my Shadow!! I would like to hear him sing Heartbreaker! It was as always one amazing show!!!

The concert was amazing. He still rocks and seems to have so much fun doing it. HIs voice seems to get better with age. Third time seeing him, first was at the first Stars and Stripes festival in Mount Clemens Michigan- absolutely tore the place up. Second with Bad Company and that was amazing as well. If he is anywhere near my area I'll definitely go see him again and again. Did songs from Free, Bad Company and even some Jimmy Hendrix! The Colosseum left a lot to be desired as a concert venue though. Rude security was one complaint I heard over and over. Seating was not so great for many in the crowd too. Even my front row tickets were a bit too far to the left of the stage and there was another entire section left of us. Not a good set up for a concert.

I love Paul Rodgers, my mom loves him too...when he comes to Hampton Beach Casino, we go see him. HBC allows non flash cameras and that is great because I was able to take some great photos for memories! We strongly encourage and want Paul Rodgers at HBC more often than he has been in the past, the last time was 2003! Seven years is way too long to go without him!

I am of a certain age and love to see concerts of the music that I listened to in my teens and my 20's. Fortunately many of these bands still tour and perform. I go to many concerts and Paul Rodgers was the best I've seen in a long time. Rodgers connected with his adoring audience. He was fit and energetic while moving all over the stage and interacting with the audience. He played all the favorites of Bad Company with his super tight band. The entire crowd sang along with him. It was an amazing concert. He's a pro that appreciates where he came from and knows what his fans want to hear.

The iconic voice of 3 chart topping bands landed at EQ in Fife, WA for a packed crowd. The stage lighting and sound were spot on. Paul Rodgers performed chart topping hits like "Feel like making love", "All right now", and "Shooting Star". The musicians accompanying him were technically amazing and made the 4 piece band sound like 7! Go see Paul Rodgers if you get the chance. You will not be disappointed.

Paul McCartney, Paul Carrock, Paul Rodgers, I'm convinced if you want your kid to grow up to be a great rock vocalist give them a head start by naming your boys Paul. Paul Rodgers is one great singer who can hold an audience spellbound which is what he did at the Hard Rock casino. With a great catalogue of songs to draw from he rocked the crowd with Bad Company favorites, plus songs from his other collaborations (Free, The Firm) and had people out of their seats singing along all night long. Not to be missed if he shows up near you. Jacko

The good, started on time. The bad only played for 1 hour 15 min. Paul's voice I'm sure was still epic, unfortunately the mix man had the the guitar and bass cranked up and Paul's voice was basically drowned out. We paid close to 300.00 to get in the first 10 rows (2 tix) I was still humming bad co. Songes for the next few days but can't stop feeling a little short changed.

I've seen Paul Rodgers 6-7 times in the past 10 years and this was my favorite show of them all! One of--if not THE--best voices in rock, and he just seems to get better all the time! His band is phenomenal...Howard Leese on guitar doesn't hurt! The sound at the Emerald Queen Casino was amazing for this show!

I've been a fan since the early 70's but have never had the opportunity to see Paul Rodgers perform live. I was not disappointed. He is one of the few lead singers whose voice has actually gotten better with age. It's mellowed in a way that adds to the songs rather than takes away. Now that I've seen him once, I hope I get another chance to see him. It was a great concert with a nice mix of songs from his career.

John Kaye and Paul Rogers both were in fine voice in spite of the smokey conditions from the Butte fire. Both back up bands were solid - although I felt that at times Roger's group got a bit too loud making it difficult to hear Rogers, which was one of the reasons I came to the show in the first place. I was also a bit disappointed that Rogers didn't delve into the Free playbook a bit more, relying instead on mostly Bad Co tunes (who I saw at this same venue last year). the venue is stellar - good mix and nice big screens on either side of the stage for those sitting in the bleachers.

Paul Rodgers rocked. He was as good as ever. Loved every song he sang. Even though the venue wasn't sold out, which could be disappointing to the artist, he delivered his songs like he was singing in front of the Queen. I highly recommend seeing this show, you won't be disappointed!

Paul Rodgers was in fine form as always, but the sound mix was remarkable. There were only three instruments + vocals. The balance and volume were perfect. Paul creates sing-a-long moments which is good, because he riffs most of the verses.
