The boys can still rock. I was amazed that Fred still has the best voice in rock. Overall, a fantastic show! The musicianship was great, but as a drummer, I would have preferred if their drummer had stayed true to Robbie's signature drum fills, and especially the feel for Four Wheel Drive, which was different from the original.

The entire night was high energy. The Lead act was Lukas Nelson. No doubt we will hear from this new act in the future. His group started the night in high form and high energy. Excellent electric blue. (A bonus here was Lukas' willingness to go to the back of the Penn's Peak facility after he was done to sign autographs and talk to those of us there that night. I know that this is done often by country & western acts, but have seldom seen it among rock acts. I wish this practive was more wide spread today among rock & roll groups. We fans would greatly appreciate it.) Bachman & Turner picked up where Lukas Nelson left off. They performed many of the old favorites along with a number of cuts from their up coming new album. They were in high form and style. Over all, an excellect evening at an excellent venue.

Best money I've spent on a concert in decades. Wonderful sound- both old and new songs. I was expecting some drop off in their abilities but was pleasantly surprised. Great vocals and outstanding guitar work. My wife and I were both blown away and had a great time. Looking forward to seeing them again.

That was said by Randy Bachman, and they did with a tour d' force of a concert last night. His playing was outstanding, and Fred Turner's growling and shouting has not lost any of its effectiveness. They played all the hits you would expect, and a few new tunes from the upcoming disc due out in early september. My favorite was "not fragile", which started out with the famous bass lines from Turner. These guys played their hearts out, I only wish the crowd got more into it. We are truly seeing history made, with this duo back on the concert trail after more than 20 years. Hope they come around again and do some outdoor shows, so I can introduce my sons to some good old ass kickin rock and roll. Thanks Randy and Fred, you still know how to play them guitars!

Considering all the weight loss, Randy and CF sounded amazingly the same as the old albums! Especially CF on Not Fragile when he screamed that 1 line. He sounded just like in the 70's. We were surprised he still got the high notes. At the end of the show I tried to remind him of our conversation at a prior show, but he could not hear me. For those of you that get a chance to see this show, by all means go! You will never see these 2 together again....................Thanks.

They may have white hair and white beards, but Bachman and Turner can still ROCK, and sing great, and play their guitars with gusto. What a fun evening of thier hits and some new songs too. Of course the highlight was the encore song with everyone singing "Taking care of business". Penns Peak is a wonderful sounding venue and the crowd was truly enjoying the music (and a few beers). I have seen Randy Bachman perform once before with the Guess Who, this was the first time to see Turner reunite with Bachman, they seemed to be having a great time on stage. Keep on Rocking B & T.

A half talk, a half rock. He was talking about how his famous songs were made, how he met 70's rock musicians... which was fun. 4 guys were sitting on stools all time except for the last song. Without Freddy Turner's powerful voice like 2010 tour, he couldn't play many of BTO songs and he did Guess Who and other older songs for more than a half of the show with his band which was OK but I still missed Freddy Turner.

Randy put on one powerful energized show. His band sounded great and were right on the mark for being younger people. He played some of the hits from his Guess Who days and certainly BTO, He also showed his mastery of his playing the Guitar. it actually reminded me of being at shows back in the 70's when everyone showed their talents. it was a very good show!

One of the best shows ever...4 stools for 4 guitars and a drummer. And Randy's son Tal also played a little keyboards off and on. Loved the way Randy gave the audience a little story behind most of the tunes they played. Since he released a tribute to George Harrison this year, he opened up with 2 of George's tunes, then rolled right into the Guess Who years and then on to some BTO. After that he did a little jumping here and there with the song choices and his stories. My wife and I loved every minute of the show and would definitely go again the next time he comes around.

While I know Randy Bachman is a legend, I was expecting more from his Bachman Turner Overdrive era. Some of his stories went a bit long. While some of it was humorous and informative, we paid money to hear music, not 50% stories, 50% music.

Saw Randy Bachman at the Ameristar Casino in Kansas City last night (7/20/18). His four-piece band included his son, Tal, who played his 1999 hit "She's So High". The 90-minute+ show spanned his career with the Guess Who & Bachman-Turner Overdrive including "Shakin' All Over", "These Eyes", "Undone", "No Time", "American Woman", "Let It Ride", "Takin' Care of Business" & "You Aint Seen Nothin' Yet". Most songs were preceded by the stories behind them. Excellent show.

I have seen Randy Bachman a couple of times recently. He brings back memories when I was a kid and rock n roll was king. He is a great performer and puts on a very good show. His little stories about some of the songs he wrote are very interesting. His touring band is very polished and they all sound great. If you are an old rocker, Randy Bachman is an act you must see!

The music was terrific! Randy Bachman was entertaining, funny, and gave great insights into the history of the bands, the music, people, and individual songs. He was very friendly and personable. It was intimate, almost as if he was sitting in your living room and sharing with you the musical history. If I had the opportunity, I would definitely go see this show again myself. I saw him way back with BTO and Blue Oyster Cult back in 1973 in Florida. I found the current tour to be much more enjoyable.

A dynamite concert -- Randy Bachman took the audience on a fabulous story-telling and musical adventure, highlighting his years with The Guess Who and Bachman Turner Overdrive. As a result, it was much more than just a concert full of songs -- it became a personable, fun and enlightening experience!! Almost magical!! Going down "memory lane" with Randy cracked open a window as to the process of how simple moments in life can get interwoven into the lyrics of a hit song. It was fascinating! The crowd absolutely loved the storytelling!!! They loved it while they were in the midst of listening and they were still loving it afterwards. As people were filing out of the auditorium and into the adjoining halls, I heard several people remark on how much they enjoyed the stories and that they had never been to a concert like this before!! The only negative was the blasting speaker equipment volume. It overcompensated BIG time. Apparently, the audio engineers didn't fully take into account the modest size of the auditorium (or they were deaf). Luckily, I had "soft silicone earplugs" with me and that made all the difference in the world. Again, the concert was truly fabulous!!! (albeit with ear-plugs)

This concert was better than expected! There is NO doubt that Randy Bachman is one very talented musician but having seen him perform a couple of years ago in Cleveland...we didn't know what to expect as he was not at his best for that concert. What a different "story" on Sunday night at the Hard Rock! He was "engaging"..."loved" his stores from how The Guess Who got their name to how he got the inspiration for many of his songs! "Loved" the "mix" of Guess Who and BTO songs. Was also happy that he greatly seemed to appreciate the enthusiasm of the crowd! Finally...it was wonderful to have him introduce and see him perform with his son who is a talented musician in his own right!

I grew up with the music of Bachman Turner Overdrive and developed an appreciation for the Guess Who later on. I just didn t realize the impact Randy had on both bands and the music industry. This show, with the stories behind the songs, was a tremendous retrospective on what should be a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame career. An added bonus was Randy s son, Tal, performing with the band and doing his hit song She s So High.

Very enjoyable show. Randy was very much engaged with the audience. Told a lot of stories about his life and how the various songs fit in. Started with "Shakin All Over" from 1965, then went in chronological order from early stuff with Guess Who up through the BTO songs. Even though a bit long winded at times, we enjoyed the stories as well as the music. Brought back a lot of memories from back then.

I have seen Bachman-Turner Overdrive, BTO, Bachman-Turner and Randy Bachman a total of 7 times and this was by far the best Randy has done. A treat !! To hear these songs being sung live is a true treat. Wow, so many great songs. The Guess Who and BTO. ya right !! Amazing !! I have seen over 250 concerts of the very best and most famous singers. I think I know what I am talking about. The concert included many stories in between the songs. Often story teller concerts are not good. Tonight's blend of stories and music was awesome as Randy shared his life experience with so many extremely famous singers. Thank you Randy. I wanted to hear the next story. I anticipated each story because they were so good, let alone the songs. All of the stories were good unlike many other story teller concerts. I can not believe Randy could remember details of meeting people when he was in his early 20's like the guy at the drugstore in San Srancisco when randy was looking for a " hippie " Randy, please tour again as I have only seen you once live. I drove from Slippery Rock, PA to see you and I will do it again. The entire band was very good. You can tell that Randy is a regular guy. Historical songs well played. Come again please

On eve of, what should have been, Sir George Harrison s 75th birthday, Randy Bachman and his great band rocked NYC. I did see BTO back in the day, but never having seen the guess who I thought it would be enjoyable to see Randy do some of both and I was not disappointed. Not only were the BTO songs excellent but the Guess Who songs were excellent as well he had band members who sounded very good singing Burton Cummings lead vocals. But the highlight of the show for me was the stories he told explaining how he came to write the songs as well as the people he has met over the years while touring and working. We went because we are big fans of Bachman Turner Overdrive, but had no idea he was a founding member of The Guess Who and wrote many of their hits. Between those familiar songs and the stories he told to back up the playlist, we felt we got much more than we had bargained for. What a fantastic surprise we had attending the Randy Bachman concert in Las Vegas. He's funny, a great storyteller and has put together a great band. I had no idea he was from Canada, nor did I know he was with The Guess Who from the beginning. Another huge surprise is the fact that he wrote most of the songs with his writing partner. He was energetic and upbeat. I loved hearing about all of the rockers he met and hearing about the gigs he played. His voice sounded great and so did the other guys with him. Randy Bachman still rocks and rocks hard. This show walks you back to his beginning, his first band, and how they all met and became icons. Videos take you back to 1961 and move forward showing the growth of the Guess Who then Bachman Turner Overdrive. You'll never guess how they came up with the name "Guess Who". It is a humorous and fun show with all the hits of the Guess Who and BTO played. Very enjoyable. I am 60 years old and the videos and music took me back to my youth. Simply a great show by a great musician with a great musical history.

Been a Randy Bachman fan all my life, thru all his bands and solo projects. Being a guitar player and songwriter myself, makes me appreciate his talent all the more. Randy put on a great Story telling show, from the very beginning thru Bachman Turner Overdrive. The stories were so interesting about the songs, and at age 70 Randy to me shows no sign of slowing down and I hope to see him again soon. I would have loved to hear some stories and songs from my favorite Solo album by Randy "Merge" from 2000 or so, if you haven't heard it check it out. Bought the DVD of the show at the merch booth.
