The venerable Ray Stevens still touring at 78, has a singing voice better than many of the young country singers breaking into the game. He gave one and half hours of uninterrupted steady banter, hits from his encyclopedic catalog of original songs, all while traveling over the stage joining his band and two backup singers with electric guitar and piano. All present were moved to laughter and impressed with his pleasure to still be entertaining. It was difficult not to be clapping or laughing the whole time.

I have listened to Ray Stevens since I was a little girl. My mom shared him with my brothers and me, and also our children. She passed away 2 years ago. Seeing Ray live brought back precious memories. It was an awesome show.

Very funny show. Ray entertained the audience with stories and did about 8 of his songs full length. He did a few minutes of a lot of his other songs. Mostly sang his oldies but did a couple of his more recent tunes. Not sure what but it looked like he had to refer to lyrics placed in the piano on his newer stuff. And he stopped several times during his stories and just kind of looked down like he was trying to remember. But overall a very funny and entertaining evening.

I had previously seen Ray Stevens in Branson, Missouri with my parents many years ago. I couldn't wait to see him perform in Biloxi, Ms. with my husband. My husband and I were entertained from the first song until the last song which is my favorite, The Streak. We were amazed by his abundant energy, strong voice, humor, and talent! His love for God, family, and country are evident throughout his songs and speech which are principles on which America was founded. That makes me proud! I loved the red coat. It is difficult to express in words the complete feeling of pride my wife and I experienced at Ray Stevens' show. I am 75 and Ray is 72 - and I can't tell you how amazed I was at his dexterity and professionalism. He sang each tune completely within his range and still was able to project the Ray Stevens sound we have grown up with. We always have a couple of Ray Stevens CD's in our car and listen to them when we take a trip of any length.

I wasn't particularly a Ray Stevens fan before; I got the tickets for my husband, but this turned out to be a really great show. When it ended, we could not believe 90 minutes had passed so quickly. Haven't laughed so much or so loudly in a long time.

I purchased these tickets for my father-in-law. Not only did he call me after the show to say thank you. He called the next day to say he had never laughed so hard in his life and seeing how he is 70 years old that means a lot. he had the best time. He said Mr. Stevens was amazing and stayed on stage the whole night and gave the most wonderful performance. Thank You for giving him one of the best nights ever in his old age.

EPC did not have the volume right so it was a struggle to hear the lyrics above the music. When he was talking or playing the piano it was easy to hear and good. Ray is a good comedian. i paid for reserved parking which was a waste of money. There was nobody directing and parking and taking tickets.

Enjoyed the night immensely...seating was good too...enough room between rows for entrance and exit, and the sound systems was second to none. We had a Wonderful Time. Mr. Stevens is a consummate performer. You would never guess his age by his performance. His show is excellent! Funny, upbeat and full of energy. I have already recommended it highly to my friends. He sang the songs we all know and love. His voice is still very strong and he can still hit all the notes that he did when the songs were recorded.

This was an evening that I planned for my mother as she wanted to attend; however, I had as much fun as she did. It brought back a lot of fun memories. Ray Stevens was very entertaining. Great concert, but a bit short (75 mins)...that seems to be the small venue standard these days. Only other issue was his band drowned out his vocals on some songs...if you didn't already know the words, you'd have no idea what he was saying (singing). The IP's Studio A is a wonderful venue...you just have to walk through the smoky casino floors to get to it.

He is a true entertainer, who knows what humor is -- younger so-called "entertainers" seem to think you have to curse, be loud, and insult people personally to be funny, but they aren't funny. Ray Stevens has written some really clever satirical songs over the years, and I enjoyed hearing them again at this concert. However, he descended to an unnecessary volume of "bathroom" humor, and his anti-president Obama song what just in bad taste. In the climate of divisiveness we have in our country today, singing a politically opinionated song does nothing more than bring out the worst in his audience and reinforce our unfortunate divisions. Ray, you can do better, or is this just what you have descended to because you are really a "has been"?

Ray was just as funny as I remember him to be 30 yr. ago. My folks loved him and so did we girls. I like how he can make you laugh so hard your tummy hurts and he does this without using a bunch of fowl mouth language. Loved all the silly and serious songs, stories, jokes and tribute to the troups.

Ray Stevens was funny and put on a great show.
