The Bleachers held an amazing concert!!! So much crowd interaction and such great music! The whole audience was hype about it. Fox Theater also has great tiered floors so that short people like me can see the whole stage if we choose to stand up on a higher tier.

Bleachers brought so much enthusiasm to the stage. I've never seen a band perform with such energy. The crowd responded by dancing, singing, and occasionally jumping for the duration of the show. I already loved the Bleachers, but they are EVEN BETTER LIVE.

All three band brought nice energy to the concert. It is so great the 104.5 gives back with these fun summer free concerts. The overall sound and viewing is not good at the back stage at festival pier. But it a nice spot to meet up with friends and hear some music!

These Radio 104.5 Block Parties are the place to be at in Philly in the summer. I highly recommend to all of my friends. I do wish that less tickets were given per person (limit of 2) to get more people to actually attend the event. A lot of times people order 4 tickets at a time and don't use them all.

Bleachers had an amazing performance but it was a huge disservice to put them on the backstage. I have attended 6 concerts at festival pier and have been very pleased with the performances and facilities. When it is on the main stage you can see the performance from anywhere. Unfortunately this was not the case for bleachers. There was even huge VIP stands directly in the middle making it even more difficult. The music was awesome but it was a huge disservice to a great band.

This event has taken a serious hit since moving from the Piazza. The positioning of the stage made it so that only a handful of people could actually see the stage. Between the sound stage being right up front and in the middle and the area in front of the stage being elevated on wooden boards it was hard for most people to see the stage. This made for a boring atmosphere and most people just sitting/standing around talking rather than listening to the music.

I saw Bleachers for the 3rd time a couple of days ago in Las Vegas (with The Killers). This group is legit. Great music and non-stop energy. The band seems to enjoy being on stage and Jack is a great performer as well as a lot of fun (wink wink). I really like their music and I can't wait to see them again in concert.

Jack has high energy from beginning to end. It was clear they were performing for a group of dedicated fans as the audience could sing along to everything. I wish we had heard one acoustical version of one of their hits but it was amazing. You felt the connection between Bleachers and their fans. Infinitys End were great hosts

Went to see Bleachers with my daughter and granddaughter. Yes I am old. Second time seeing them. Loved every minute of their show. Jack Antonoff and band put on a fantastic performance. He made you feel like he was playing in your living room and was one of your friends. The music was heart felt and moving especially when he played acoustic guitar and played a Tom Petty and a Fun cover. He interacted with the crowd the whole time. My granddaughter was up in the front by the stage and he reached out and grabbed her hand twice. Music and band were fabulous! Would go again!

Never knew that the Bleachers were such a great live band. 10 out of the 12 songs were damn entertaining and most were new to me. Lots of sound and energy which was fun. Only as a side note, can bands leaders stop introducing band members 75% through the show. The applause and subsequent solos are old school.

I love the music of Bleachers, but I have to admit that I was nervous that star producer and Lena Dunham's (Girls) beau would be off putting and aloof. WRONG! The amount of energy and enthusiasm he had for the music and his fans was simply infectious. Apologies for the reference but his live performance was pure 'fun.'' Best yet were the band's over the top performances, whether that be 'behind the back' guitar solos, fist pumping anthemic harmonies in a sleeveless Springsteen jean jacket or his manager's first stage dive (after a sax pumped version of Happy Birthday for his drummer). I have been to MANY shows and I would say the Fox and Bleachers are a marriage made in heaven - my fav venue and one of my top fav bands yielding a top 10 concert evening of just plain fun. Did I mention the crowd was just as pumped as Jack and Co.?! How about, what seemed like the whole crowd, screaming the the tongue twisting pre-chorus to Don't Take the Money?! Not easy to do . . . but they did it. Thanks Jack, I simply can't wait for the next one!

I bought these tickets to see Bleachers, which is why I bought VIP. After worrying about whether or not it was worth it, I found that it definitely was. There's the brunch, the meet and greet, and a VIP viewing area. VIP members could also come and go until 5pm, which was perfect since Asbury had other events and I wanted to enjoy the beach and sun while I could. The musicians I saw were great! I would definitely buy the VIP tickets again next year

Good venue for the opportunity to have an intimate experience with some great local acts. Andrew McMahon and Bleachers knocked it out of the park & there were awesome supporting acts like Brick & Mortar. Only downside was the No Re-Entry policy as it would have been nice to enjoy a stroll on the Boardwalk or grab a bite to eat in between acts.

Such a great way to end the summer this year. I've attended all three SOTC shows to date and each one was special. In the past three years I've gotten to see Front Bottoms, Charli XCX, Misterwives, Carly Rae Jepsen, 1975, Brian Fallon, Andrew McMahon, and Bleachers (twice!). Perfect weather each time too, and right on the Asbury Park boardwalk at the Stone Pony. What's not to love?

This is the third year I attended the shadow of the city festival, and unlike a lot of shows you get to meet the artists. I don't just mean, hey let's take a pic, I mean really talk to the people performing. There's and openness and and accessibility to thaws artists at this show I've never seen anywhere else. I met Rachel Antinoff, her favorite animal is a dog. I met Andrew McMahon, he gave me a wet hug after the dunk tank. And countless others. Ya just don't get that kind of realness at a lot of shows. The venue is legendary, the weather was impeccable. Ya can't say Jack is a one trick pony, that guys has more tricks up his sleeveless shirt than David Copperfield. It's also charitable, the proceeds from the dunk tank go to the ally coalition, which supports the LGBT community. Another aspect not a lot of shows have. So let's get to the meat of the show, the music. Nicole Atkins can sing like Sam Cooke and Etta James had a baby. Her range was K credible and her voice was strong and sharp like that of a large kitchen knife, she is not to be missed. Brick + mortar have a really groovy vibe and I can't spoil it for you, their stage presence is unmatched. Kahled had an entire group of 17 year olds screaming for 50 minutes easily, once they finished the shows populous changed drastically, I assume because these girls had school in the morning. Tangerine was new and exciting, and their music was transcendent. I highly recommend seeing them with bleachers as they will be touring together. Then ya come to Andrew McMahon, he can play. He can sing and the boy deserves a Grammy. He performed an impeccable hour long set and the range of the songs was everywhere. The sun had just set, the beach balls were let loose and one by one he cast his magic songs on us all, as we stood in awe. For his last song Cecelia he really didn't even need to sing, the crowd carried the tune with a ferocity few shows can contend with, and like that he was gone. The sets ran over slightly so the techs and rodies scrambled to set up 2 drum sets, plus Mikey has a drum pad and a sata phone, did i mention there are tubular bells?, well there are. Bleachers Is such a full sound it's really pointless to try and write about it. I don't care if your a music somolierre, you can limit these songs to a few sentences, they are alive and they are meant to be seen live. Bleachers rocked the house, Jack says it's his favorite day of the year, I'm inclined to agree with him. Did I mention tickets to see. These 8 bands were only 33 bucks? Yeah. It's insane. And it gets bigger and better every year. I'm hoping Jack brings Ella one year and id love for him to discover the greeting committee and bring them to jersey. It really comes down to a boy and his dream. Jack would sit and make music in his room and dream of the days when people would take those notes and words and sing them to life. And that's exactly what he did. I'd tell you if you only go to one show in your life it should be this one, but I'd rather keep it a secret so it stays as awesome as it is. I'm a fan, these words are mine- go out there and see a show.

I have to say that Saturday was one of the best days of my life. Shadow of the City blew me away. I thought going to see Bleachers again would be amazing, but I never imagined I'd get to meet and talk with Jack Antonoff. He is just as amazing in person as what you see him doing in the press. Jack's festival, Shadow of the City, in Asbury Park NJ featured Sam Dew, How to Dress Well, Bully, Cults, Misterwives, The Front Bottoms, Charli XCX, and of course Bleachers. It was so cool to see Jack just walking around and hanging out with the crowd. Jack is known for being open about his anxiety disorder and, dealing with that illness myself, I have found him to be a real source of inspiration for me in his interviews and posts. He is also very involved with the Ally Coalition and the video I'm sending shows the dunk tank that he, his family, and band members participated in to raise money for this organization. Bleachers matched all money raised in the dunk tank. A lot of the money from the show is going to help homeless LGBT teenagers, another issue that Jack is very much involved with. It was absolutely amazing to meet someone famous who doesn't just spout out idealisms, but actually follows up and raises awareness and money for those causes. I am still in a "Jack haze." What an awesome time.

Culture Room is definitely one of my favorite venues, very small that no matter were you stand you are close to the stage, lightings and acoustics are perfect,, came on Tuesday to see Bleachers the main event however I did love the opening bands Night Terrors of 1927 and Joywave which both were amazing!! Bleachers played the entire album and a couple of cover songs, they deliver each song and kept the crowd screeming for more for the entire concert. I went to the venue around 2 pm in order to get first row/barricade at the concert and somehow I did not end up getting front row because of a few things that happened along the way but either way the concert was AMAZING! The atmosphere was incredible! Not only did bleachers give a really good show but the entire audience did as well. Jack is an incredible performer and so is the rest of the band. I will not fail to mention the other two bands that were on, Night Terrors of 1927 and Joywave. I personally LOVED Night Terrors of 1927, their presence on stage really lured me to like them more but joywave had some great songs as well. In total, these three bands gave me a night to remember and I would like to thank them! I can't wait to see bleachers again next year!

I'm continually surprised by how much I enjoy Mystic Lake as a concert venue. The seats are comfortable, and there's almost no bad seat in the house. As for The Bleachers, they put on a hell of a show. It's great big, loud rock with an intimate soul in the lyrics that can make you cry. The band is amazing and they have such great chemistry. Evan Smith on saxophone is so into the music that it's infectious. Jack Antonoff never stops moving on stage and you can feel his passion for the music. It's going to be a hard show to beat!

Move over Bruce Springsteen. Jack Antonoff is the new rock God from New Jersey. This was my first time getting to see Bleachers and it was amazing. I have been to over 200 concerts in my life and I can say without question this is in my top 3 shows of all time. Not only does Jack write great songs, he has an amazing band. They are all extremely talented and clearly love playing live. There is no shrinking violet on stage. They are all having a blast and it helps the crowd have fun too. I will be sure to see them every time they come to St Louis (which is hopefully often). I also enjoy Delmar Hall. I've been to several shows here. It has great accoustics and is a good size (750). The staff are all very friendly, especially Shannon and Bernadette if they're working behind the bar. The only change I'd make is that you have to be over 21 to get early entry into the bar like for the Pageant/Halo Bar.

The audience was matching all of the energy brought by the band! It was like someone had told the audience this is the only chance you have to sing, so give it your all! Amazing lyrics and everyone was feeling it!

My 4th Bleachers show was unforgettable. The band has said it themselves, something special has happened since Gone Now got released. The crowd was louder and more ~in it~ than any show I've ever been to. It was a sold out show, and although it was evident some people got tickets on a whim, everyone was fully committed to making the experience one to remember. Before the show, many of us got to go into Jack Antonoff's "Room" parked out front which was the coolest. My only complaint is that it was hot as heck down in the Deluxe room. We survived though.

It was a good show, the Bleachers totally rocked, but one saxophone player and one solo is probably enough. At one point I think everyone had a saxophone.

Jack Antonoff played one hell of a show at The Underground. I would definitely recommend seeing them any chance you get. I can guarantee that I will see them again.

They sounded great, they got everybody on their feet dancing and singing, and Jack A. gave an amazing performance. You could tell they all were enjoying every second of it.

Bleachers is one of the greatest performances I have ever seen live, and I have been to more than my fair share of shows over the years. Jack Antonoff's enthusiasm is infectious, and his stage presence is incredible. It is evident that he isn't just "putting on a show," but Jack is truly enjoying every moment he is on stage. Incredible and unforgettable show.

I took my daughters to the concert. Never heard of the bad before. They gave a great performance with great interaction. Could probably play most anything and do it very well. I was impressed with the concert

From the very first song, the entire room was engulfed in an energy that resulted in everyone yell-singing the lyrics all known by heart. It was a spectacular experience and I am so happy I was able to go see them for the second time. I will hopefully be attending another show in the fall. If you haven't listened to them yet do it now! Fall in love with the music and be prepared to sing your heart out!

I went with a couple of friends and had a great time! The music was great, food was fun. The only things I would like to see change is the size of it, more food, booths and bands. But then again it was their first year so I am sure they will expand.

I've been to a number of music festivals over the years, and I have to say that Shadow of the City is one of the most fun ones. There was such a good mix of bands, and I loved the dunk tank!

Shadow of the City, was a great way to spend the day listening to some bands put together to by Jack Antonoff of Bleachers. It was a fantastic venue on the Jersey shore. Lots of food, beer and merch, and never a wait for the latrines. And Everyone seemed to be having a blast. I didn't know a lot of the bands that played earlier in the day, but both Charli XCX and Bleachers delivered in a big way: Hit after hit. I ended up buying both of their CDs. Hopefully, they'll be back at the Stone Pony next year, for round II.

For a young band, these guys have the energy and following of any major act today, and the talent to back it up. Consummate musicians and performers, they've made what the media paints as a one-man show into an amazing ensemble act that involves the audience at every turn. I was blown away. The National was a perfectly sized venue to enjoy the show, and from the sound of it, these guys loved Richmond and will be back... So don't miss the next show!

Bleachers put on an amazing show! My only complaint (and reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5) is that they were over an hour late hitting the stage. I'm not sure if this was the fault of the venue, the fault of the band, or the fault of the opening acts, but it was certainly annoying and an inconvenience. Once the Bleachers hit the stage, however, I have virtually no complaints. I thoroughly enjoyed the show! Such talented and entertaining guys.

What a great night for me and my daughter! The opening bands were amazing and we are definitely new fans of Joywave! Jack Antonoff has created a genius band with Bleachers..we rocked out and his energy is un-matched. He could be singing the itsy bitsy spider and people would find out a way to sing, clap along! Can't wait to see them again!

The schedulers at the National really get it wrong when the announce a 7:30 show that doesn't start until after eight. In between the first and second acts was over a 30 minute delay and another 30 minute delay before bleachers came out. That's over an hour and a half of standing without music. It seemed intentional which is really silly. 7:30 - 11:15 is a long time to stand for any show. It's kind of funny thinking the national could have used some bleachers to sit in during the extended waits.
