Whiskey Myers was on fire at the House of Blues. The crowd was fired up so Whiskey was giving them everything they had. Houston was the last stop on this tour and they definitely made it count! They played almost every song off their last 3 albums and a couple from their first. It was one of the best Whiskey Myers shows I've ever been to and I've seen a lot.

Our first time to visit "Dallas" House of Blues. We went to see these local Texas boys that we met in 2012 when they opened for 38 Special. When we heard their music we were smitten forever. They rocked the House. We had comfortable seats in the balcony down low..... thank you Citibank. After party not so good, should have just left the building. Thanks to a previous review that recommended Valet parking it was the way to park. Valets did a great job for a great price.

Best show ever! Whiskey Myers can t be beat. I will purchase tickets anytime they are back in town! I will never forget 6/30/18 and will keep my ticket stubs. Had the sit down seats and the seats were very comfortable.

I knew their music was awesome but wasn't prepared for the awesome show that they put on. Not like the skinny jeans people. They actually can sing and know how to get the crowd going. No fire balls or smoke or lazers.

I ventured out on a Friday night , to check out this Whiskey Myers. I had never seen Whiskey Myers live before. All I knew and heard of Whiskey Myers was from the internet, I was doing a query for Irish whiskey, and Whiskey Myers was one of the results from my internet query. I listened to a few cuts from some of Whiskey Myers albums, and I was immediately hooked. I attended Whiskey Myers show at the House of Blues at Disney. Man the energy in the venue was electric. Whiskey Myers members are true musicians and boy do they like to jam. I highly recommend to anyone, if you are in to some good Southern Rock, Whiskey Myers is the band for you.

I absolutely love you guys! What a great set of musicians. Your tambourine player was killin it! Makes me wanna drink whiskey and rock out all the time! I've seen them at The Hollow in Albany last year and now here. Would go to every week if I could. Only complaint: no where did we find out how to get in VIP until 5 mins before show and its sold out. I offered double price too.

Southern Rock isn't dead. It's great to be at a show with the kind of people who are fans of this band. I've seen Whiskey Myers twice, and hope to see them again. Great music, and a good time. I give the band 5 stars. The venue gets only 4 stars because they charge $11 for a 25 ounce Bud Light.

1st show at the cabooze, and we are already planning our next visit! The opener for Whiskey Myers was Steel Woods and we loved then so much we would go see them as the main event. Whiskey Myers came onto stage and we fell more in love with the band. Which you don't always get when you see performers live. The venue had cheap beer and even though the show was sold out we had no issues. We will be back! Soon!!!

Steelwoods kicked off the night on the right note. Real deal. I have been listening to Whiskey Myers for some time, but had never seen them live. They are a great live band. Extreme southern rock energy, well planned song list, and just fun to enjoy seeing a group of guys doing what they love to do. Cabooze is simply a well run club. Doing it a long time and it shows. Never hurts to have a little cowbell

Would not go back to 8 seconds saloon. Bad enough the headliner doesn't start until 10:45 but when they actually start 15 minutes late it is too late of a night. They say they tell their performers to hold to the schedule, but they sure sell a lot more alcohol buy not starting on time.

Way too loud for the venue. They are talented musicians but the sound was so distorted that you couldn't even tell what they were playing half the time. And forget understanding the lyrics. Just sounded like a jumbled mess. If they can't fix their sound issues with their current sound guy, they need to get a new one.

loved the venue. Never heard of the opening band.....the sound was so bad. the music over powered the vocals and couldn't hear a thing they were singing. So can't say if they were any good or not. I am a fan of Whiskey Myers but only stayed for a couple of songs because as with the opener the sound was so bad. the music was so loud that you barley heard the vocals. yes, I expect it to be loud, but there needs to be a balance between vocals and music. I am there to here them sing not just here the music.

I think this had the potential to be a great costume at a cool venue, but it doesn't seem like there was an appropriate sound check. The music was WAY too loud. I could not hear/follow the words of songs I know by heart because the lead singers' voice was hidden. The volume and base was inappropriate for the size of the venue. It sounded best from the bathroom but was almost unbearable in the GA section.
