This is my 5th year and my husbands 6th year in a row. We are concerned for brewfest as the vendors are dwendeling. Not as much beer as the years before. Also we enjoy having a suvineer tasting glass with the year on it. Unfortunately the last few years they were plastic with no year. We always have fun but are considering finding a new brewfest for next year.

The only downside of this event was, some of the vendors were out of beer 2 hours into the event. For the cost they should've had ample amounts to sample... I loved that some of it took place inside, because it gave us a chance to cool off!!! I'd definitely do it again :)

This was my fifth Brewfest. It is a good time to socialize and enjoy some good craft brew. I always hope there will be more seasonal dark brew offerings each year and there was nothing special in that respect this time. I was disappointed that Coastal Empire did not have their year-round Savannah Brown, However, it caused me to try a few ciders, several of which were surprisingly good. The people pouring at the booths were really friendly and knowledegable about the product. The cost of the event has increased, but what blew me away was the almost extra $10.00/ ticket due to fees via Ticketmaster. It sure would be nice to be able to acquire hard copy tickets at local businesses without all the fees. Each year it seems the disorganized part of the event is the line waiting for entry. How many times do our IDs need to be checked since the person with the wristbands was not walking with the person going down the line? Communication needs to be better For the expensive price of the tickets, a real glass would have been greatly appreciated. I do like having it at the ITC where there is plenty of room to spread-out and weather is not a concern. I would recommend this event to someone who has never experienced it, especially out-of-town folks; my guests are from another state and enjoyed the day. However, for us locals who are accustomed to access to good craft brew at local breweries and pubs, this was not so special anymore. Next year my friends and I are planning to have our own tasting of craft brews with good food at poolside for a fraction of the cost, and no need for an Uber.

We have been to the Craft Brew Festival on Labor Day weekend 4 times since 2011. This year's had some changes. Liked: Festival was indoors, so we didn't get hot or have to worry about rain. We always get VIP tickets, and we really liked the food this year (Bowtie Barbecue). Disliked: One of the breweries that were supposed to be there did not show, and it happens to be one of my favorites (Southern Tier). Also, Red Brick and Fox Barrel Cider were not there, and they have been in past years. I think there were were a lot more breweries participating in prior festivals I have attended. There weren't as many vendors there, either. I would have thought Growler Chill would definitely have been there, since they are SC based and target craft beer lovers. What's going on? Also, did NOT like the plastic cups instead of the nicer glass ones. The VIP plastic cups looked SMALLER than the cups the regular festivalgoers received. Give the people who pay for VIP tickets glass cups!

Overall experience just average...event smaller then last year, not as many vendors. Town seemed to talk alot about the Craft Beer Festival, but multiple bars and breweries in town seemed unprepared...multiple taps dry or not available. Brewfest was okay, but has been better in past two years.

This event will continue to grow, however, the crowd was well managed, there seemed to be enough restrooms, and great Brewery representation. Food trucks provided a good selection. Most importantly staff and volunteers seemed well informed and enjoying themselves.

Definitely a plus the event was held indoors as it was very hot that day. There was plenty of space to walk around while stopping at the variety of tasting tents. Overall, an enjoyable brew fest.

Great event, but the plastic glasses this year was a bad idea. Felt cheap, cheapened the event.

As always, the Craft Brew Fest was amazing in spite of the hurricane Hermine, we had a great time. we shared the experience with two other couples who heard I talk about it so often. This was their first time attending and the comments were positive.

Event was much smaller this year, indoors, but that did not stop myself and my party from enjoying ourselves. Glad to see nine line apparel and hop nuts there. One member of our party was escorted out of the building with no explanation as to why, which meant we all had to leave with our DD. I'm sure the storm caused many venders to change attendance plans and if the member of our party was being appropriate an explanation would have been great. I have attended every Savannah beer fest since the event began. Honestly, with the smaller venue and unexpected ejection this year, it will take a lot of convincing to spend money on this event again

Once again we went to Craft Brew Fest in Savannah. This is an annual event for us, but I enjoyed this year's so much better. Everything was indoors because of the impending storm during setup. There seemed to be sufficient space for all of the breweries. However, the crowds didn't seem nearly as large as they have been in the past. It was much more pleasant. No heat and bugs to deal with. Even the people seemed more pleasant because they weren't dealing with the sweltering temperatures we usually endure. Having all of the activities indoors also meant we could find them all and we participated in the silent disco this year, which I had never even seen in the past. Watched, did not sing, at the Karaoke tent. And of course sampled all of the brews! Would love to see it indoors every year.

Unfortunately, the year the event was preceded the day before by hurricane Hermine. I hope that is why there were very few breweries and vendors present for the event. Previous years were far better. If next year's event doesn't improve, I won't be back the following year.

There are some very good microbreweries that show up for this event an this is my second year in attendance. There are a couple issues: 1. Some brewers were running out of beer with still about two hours left of event. 2. Tickets are $50 with ticket master fees, which seems high when you consider you are getting a max 2 ounces of beer to taste at each station and a lot of brewers are outside is the stifling heat/pouring rain. I think they should reconsider their ticket pricing for next year and possibly include one other free gift aside from the tasting cup? Josh

I have been to these in other locations. The staff at "the gate" misinformed or not knowledgeable at all. There was a lot of confusion and to top that off, the Priority was getting in with VIP. The vendors had people pouring beer that admitted to not being knowledgeable about the beer that they were representing.

Overall the event was great, there was a huge selection of different kinds of beers from lites to dark and even cider beers. However, I do wish they had better selection of food. I was at the event for about 4 hours and by the time I was hungry a lot of the food was either gone or the selection was to a bare minimum and very pricey for the amount that was given.I attended this event with about 9 other people and after talking to them they all agreed with a great selection of beer but food choices and prices were not.

My wife and I have been to the Savannah Beer Festival the last 3 years, and this year's event was another success. We regularly attend 3-4 beer festivals a year and the Savannah one is always our favorite. There are many different vendors there, some inside and some outside. The venue is on the river front which is really nice setting. You get to enjoy the outdoors, a beautiful location and beer at the same time. They also had live music outside. We were able to try some new local beers as well as other more national beers. Overall, we will attend this event again.

Sadly, has become a bloated and overpriced Beerfest.. I noticed a much smaller crowd this year. PLEASE GO BACK TO YOUR BASIC ROOTS AS TO WHAT THIS WAS ALL ABOUT.

We had VIP tickets and will get them from now on. There were specialty beers that were only available for the VIPs and they were all good as was the food.

Savannah is a drinking town. I should know... I've lived here for almost 20 years and have spent many, many days and nights getting drunk in bars, in restaurants, in the park, on River Street, on the beach, in my back yard, in someone else's backyard, etc. St. Patrick's Day is undeniably the best drinking day of the year here in Savannah. But the Craft Brew Fest is, for me, solidly in second place. It's just a wonderful day of trying all kinds of beer from around the country while hanging out in a great location, with an awesome view of River Street. This year's even was smaller than past year's, which is a tad worrisome, but it was still a great time, and I'd recommend it to anyone who likes beer and good times.

The craft brew fest was pretty good this year. There were more vendors then I remember and more variety with ciders, beer and mead. I would definitely recommend to someone else, and I plan to return next year.
