Very well presented play and enjoyable. All was wonderful until they all came out to take their bows. My husband and i were in the front row and the actress who played the mama, during the ovation could not take her eyes off my husband and it was awkward. She was disrepectful but the play was great.

The play was great...although I wished it went into deeper detail and explored other areas a bit more. The message of the play is one that we need to be reminded of. I laughed so much. Floyd and Aunt Bam are a great Combo!!

I went to see this stage play on January 14th @ the Verizon Theater in Grand Prairie and I had a great time! The singing & acting was great. Just like watching the DVDs. This was my first time seeing a Tyler Perry play live & I really enjoyed myself. Now I'm looking forward to seeing his upcoming stage play 'Madea Gets A Job.' I would recommend this play to everyone =)

I have been to several Tyler Perry Plays and enjoyed the tremendously. I took my daughters (3) with me for ther 1st live experience and to see the smiles and to hear the laughter coming from them was priceless. We loved Ma Hattie she was hilarious. For those who has not experience a Live play I suggest you try at least one and you will be hooked for life. They are so inspirational and you may laugh, cry some my even shout if the spirit hits you. It was an excellent performance. Which I already knew it would be. Tyler has truly been anointed by God and when God has a hand in anything that you do no weapon can form against you. Thanks for the wonderful night looking forward to Madea gets a job.

This play was good, the story line was sort of predictable but overall it was very entertaining, The cast was well put together and it was worth every dime! Also very funny.

Hattie stole the show. Her character made it even more real. In today's economy, several generations are living under the same roof. Times are hard and we really don't know if this is our last day at work or in our homes if we are behind. Our children sometimes get lost in the struggle, but Hattie helped to bring them all back to reality. Most enjoyable, the singing was so hard touching. Thanks to Floyd for including the audience in the script. Keep them coming.

I went to see the play with my fiancé and we both thought it was really good. Tyler wasn't in it though, but the cast did a fantastic job nevertheless. You don't always to have Tyler in there to make it wonderful play. My fiancé wanted it to be a little more dramatic, but it was still good to both of us in the end.

My 15 year old son and I went to see this play in Tallahassee, FL Feb 8, 2012. We had a good time. We were able to sit on the front row, which we've never done before, and it makes you feel like you're part of the cast. You want to talk to the characters! All of the cast members were on target, but of course, Hattie stole the show! No character can compete with the character, Hattie. She is very....unique..to say the least. We laughed out loud several times. My son enjoys drama in school and church. However, kids in drama are often bullied from the jocks as being "gay" or "sissies". I wanted him to see men who are talented, smart, funny, physically fit, and having fun doing what they enjoy. The men in this play did not let us down. They are so very talented in delivery and singing, When we left I told him "think how intelligent these men and women are, to be able to remember all of those lines, and bring the words to life!" This was a good experience for both of us. Thank you for coming to Tallahassee. A 4/5 due to technical difficulties in sound.

A must see play. Floyd and Ms, Hattie are off the chain. This play is funny as heck, with the help of Floyd and Ms. Hattie, but delivers a good positive message.

I loved this play my family and I truly enjoyed this Tyler Perry production we loved Palmer Williams, Jr., he is truly hilarious. Hattie is definately a wonderful add to the show when Madea is not performing. Seats were a little small but the venue was definately nice. I was a little disappointed by not seeing Tyley at the end of the play because I am such a fan but definately well worth the money. Can't wait for the next play!!

Mannnnnnnnnn, that's all I can say! This play was AWESOME! Hattie, you are my girl. I don't know where Tyler found her at, but you did not miss God by keeping her. To the whole cast, you all was awesome and the play was worth dealing with all the people that can't seem to realize, that time is of the essence and we should STRIVE to be on time for things, rather than inconvience others while they are trying to see something they took they hard earn money to pay and see, but have to deal with late comers and them all in the way. GET IT TOGETHER MY BLACK PEOPLE!!!!!!
