We were so glad to be able to get tickets to see Greta Van Fleet! This band is the most talked about new band that I can ever remember. They have a HUGE future ahead of them for sure! Their talant is like no other! Plain and simple....they are AMAZING!!

This was my first time seeing GVF in concert, and it was also my very first concert ever. They seriously rocked the house and could not have put on a better show! They kept the energy the entire time and even came out for an encore which was so incredible. I can not wait to see them in concert again!

Love Led Zepplin? Or Just good old fashioned rock and roll? Go. See. This. Band. They may be young but that are the real deal. They sound in person like they have been doing this for years and we just got to catch a small club show because a good friend won the lottery and paid an obscene amount of money to have them play. They will be playing huge stadiums before you know it. Hopefully that won't kill the magic. Bottom line though, these guys are legit, and they are from the Mitten! Represent, Michigan!

The show started off with The Glorious Sons. A 5 man group out of Ontario, Canada. This band knows how to rock a small venue like The Basement. On to Greta Van Fleet.... What can I say? These guys are like Zeppelin reincarnated. I love their sound and I loved all the songs they played. They're a band you MUST see live!

First heard GVF's Safari Song while listening to music in the background a couple months back. They are one of the few bands today that sound just as good live than recorded, if not better. Simply put, the show was fantastic. They are what rock should sound like.

We had been anticipating this show for quite some time and it did not disappoint! Whoever put the tour together did a great job. Dorothy warmed the crowd up with her amazing voice and then Greta tore the stage up. Those four young guys have a powerful gift and I can't wait to see where their career takes them. I look forward to hearing more new music from them!

We've been listening to Greta Van Fleet since they released their first single and had them marked as a band to watch. We bought our tickets the day they went on sale, and I know that this is the cheapest - and closest - we will ever be able to see them, because these guys are on the rise and will definitely be playing a much larger venue when they come back to Columbus. The show itself was fantastic. The opening band, The Glorious Sons, were quite decent as well. GVF has only released four songs, so I was a little leery about attending a concert where I wouldn't actually know most of the songs, but the band is talented enough to pull it off. Their live performance was really, really good. These guys have musical talent all the way through the line; I could have listened to their bassist all night. Overall, there is just such a joy that comes through every note. They love playing music, and it's obvious. On the flip side, the venue itself is one of my least favorites. The Basement is small, dark, stuffy, crowded, and has pretty poor acoustics. Unless you are standing in the front two rows, you can see basically nothing. After grabbing a couple of drinks, we stood out on the patio (it says something about the venue when it was easier to breathe outside with the smokers than inside), and actually ended up watching the entire show from the top of the stairs, where we could actually see the band - the music was better from outside, too. I really don't understand why these guys were not bumped up a level, as their concert sold out quite early on, and tickets were scalping for ridiculous prices. They could have filled Newport easily, and keeping them stuffed in the Basement seemed silly. Overall, Greta Van Fleet was worth suffering through the obnoxious venue. The band was brilliant. They mesh together incredibly well, and play with an openhanded joy that cannot be faked. Their music is creative and interesting, and has a musical depth that makes you want to listen to it again and again to discover all the layers. We will definitely be going back to see them again, even though I strongly suspect that I'll have to pay more than $10 a ticket.

Greta Van Fleet! This exciting young band is bringing back the feel of true Rock and Roll! As known, their sound is rooted in R&B and 60's rock, and it feels NEW but familiar - in a good way! I'm an older fan, and I feel that they have put a spark back into rock music with their own style and original lyrics! The show was excellent, and I was impressed that such a young band could put on such a professional performance! They have already been around the states - and the world, and back again! I hope that they continue to write, create and amaze, but don't get burned out too quickly with their rigorous touring schedule and the lifestyle that goes along with it! Stage AE is an open outdoor venue with no seating, and we totally forgot that there's a small bag policy like Heinz Field (my bag was 1" over!). As with any outdoor venue, guests must stand and work for the best viewing position. Once among the masses, with no set avenues for entering or exiting the jammed-in crowds facing the stage, people must squeeze through and weave in and out, spilling beers and bumping in to each other just to get around. However, the crowd was totally cool and happy to be there to watch this amazing band! I've been to Stage AE before and would certainly come again! Overall, it's a good outdoor place to see a great band on a summer night!!

This Group filled the void that my heart has yearned for, for so long!!! The Guitar Riffs, the lead singers control of the stage..... my heart and soul loved every second of their performance. If I would've known the phenomenal show that they were going to put on, I would've gotten in line 24 hours before the show to have a better view of their artistry. My favorite live bands have always been Muse and Blue October, but Greta Van Fleet took the cake for me! I hope to see them again, and I plan on camping as long as I need to in order to get up close. I would like to personally thank them for blessing my ears, my body and my soul with good old fashion ROCK and ROLL!!!!!

From the moment they took the stage Gvf never stopped. Rocking, jamming, and prancing around like it was 1968. All I can say is they brought it. The guitarist was incredible. Solo after solo without being annoying(like Neal Schon on the last Journey show I saw). The singer was on key and in total control of the crowd. Solid drumming and bass playing. Great concert.

It was very refreshing to hear traditional Rock and Roll from such a young band! The "inventors of Rock and Roll" must be proud and feel rewarded that there are still bands that have been influenced by original rock and roll music and are keeping the music rocking! The guys jumped in head first to start the show and never came up for air until the end! Non-stop energy from the start, clear sound, great vocals, simple stage show- but unique. Individual moves by all members of the band were all original, I cant think of anyone who "resembles" their onstage presence. When you watch Jake play guitar especially, no one has his style, you know its him just by his silhouette! Keep it coming! Josh, take care of your voice!

Greta rocked Detroit once again. It was an amazing night, the Band was on tour for months before returning to Detroit- and all that I can say is they sounded even better than the last show. We sat up in the Mezzanine at the Fillmore, which was a blast and gave us an awesome vantage point. Greta did a blues type of set with a harmonica musician that showed the range they have, and it really fit into the atmosphere of the Theater. A sign was illuminated against an outside brick wall that was suggesting the Band play the Fox- Lets hope they do! We caught just the end of Dorothy, and after hearing how good they were, I wish we would have seen the whole set. A great prelude into GVF, who absolutely filled the house with electricity!!! What a great Rock and Roll Band !!!!!!!!!

It's great to see new kids keep the torch lit with honor. Excellent musicianship. They're really coming into their own. A classic band in the making. The Fillmore in Detroit, however, left much to be desired. The snippy, rude and insulting attitudes of some of the staff members is the reason for their low rating. They need to class it up a whole bunch in order to reach a level of distinction at which a historic venue of this caliber should be. It left me wanting much more. I did not let that ruin the show, though. Some of the best live music I've ever seen in my life. Job well done, Greta Van Fleet. Highly recommend!

You know it's going to be a great show when you feel the enegy walking into the venue . The band Dorothy got things started and they did not disappoint . This band kept the energy level high , not always easy for an opening act . Once GVF hit the stage the place exploded with appreciation and expectation . The guys from Frankenmuth put on an unforgettable show that kept the crowd on their feet the entire show . The sound was great and along with the energy of the bands and crowd made this one of the better shows I have seen in quite awhile .

The "Fleet" rocked St. Andrews Hall in Detroit 12/29/17 , and gave the Fans something to make the year end unforgettable. The venue is awesome and GVF made it Magical-The upper balcony bar/lounge area is kickass and to see this band play here=Historical. I saw GVF warm up Bob Seger in Saginaw and knew they are a great arena band, but it was awesome to see them play a venue like St. Andrews! Got to hang out at the Detroiter Bar before and then downstairs at the Shelter, then up to the coolest lounge in Detroit to see the most BadAss new sound on the rock and roll scene- what a Blast !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All three bands were good, Rahway, Goodbye Jane and Greta Van Fleet-however I think the venue (the Chandelier Lobby)at the Kirby Center is lacking. While it's a great place to see bands in such an intimate setting, if they would just put even a 12 inch riser on the floor more people would have been able to see the bands. It was impossible to see anything from where we were and we were only about 10 feet from the bands! Other than that Greta Van Fleet is incredible! Those young men are going places and it was exciting to "see" them perform. But I can honestly say that I will not go to anymore shows at the Kirby if they are in the Lobby.

Saw this amazing band at Madison Live in Covington KY, and they blew the roof off the place! Sick guitars, thunderous drums and a commanding voice that is still hard to believe comes from such an early-career front man. I cannot wait to see how much better this band becomes over the years! There was a lot of buzz building up to this show, as it was sold out, it was the first show on their headlining national tour, and the band is gaining a lot of notoriety in the music world right now. They did not disappoint! They rocked the stage like veterans, despite their age and experience. They played everything off of their EP, jammed at times, each did solos, there was an encore with more jamming, and looking around, it felt like the crowd was watching their favorite act perform!
