this was definitively a cool show. it was the first time i had seen twin shadow perform live. the new album featured heavily in the set, but also included several great tracks from the previous albums. the sound was really good; the levels were good on the mics and george's guitar solos. the light show enhanced the music and wasn't ever a distraction. this is a solid venue!

I saw Twin Shadow the week prior at Boston Calling and was impressed by his stage presence and the band's synergy. I couldn't wait to see them at Terminal 5, as the venue is more intimate than at the festival. I was surprised that the house was nowhere near full, but Twin Shadow definitely brought great energy to the performance and filled the space with incredible music. Wild Belle opened, and though I had never heard of them, I thought the lead singer was captivating. Great show all around!

Great show and venue. Sat on the right balcony and got an amazing view. He played a good mix of his old and new songs. Wish they did an extra encore song at the end.

Overall had a great time at the show! I always wish the main artist would play a longer set, that's just me tho :) Touche and Elliphant were amazing openers. I can now say I'm a fan of both. Twin Shadow was awesome and I really enjoyed the show! Minus the ridic pricey drinks at the bar. But still had a great time!

SIMPLY AMAZING! I took a friend with me, he had never heard of the band and after Saturdays show he is now a huge fan. I had read reviews on youtube that read "they are so much bette live" and after Saturdays show I have to agree. I was a little upset that I they didnt include "SLOW" in the set but the accoustic version of their new song made up for the lack of! Saturdays performace further solidified my love for this amazing group of artist!

Twin Shadow told the Boston crowd that he "hates this city" and that the "worst experiences of his life" were in Boston, and repeated this theme through the first half of the show. In the second half he tried to apologize again and again, which was really awkward. He invited people on stage to stage-dive, which they did...but afterwards he made fun of everyone and said that even the bouncers were laughing at how lame the stage diving was. Finally someone told him he was being negative, to which he responded F off. And then continued apologizing for hating Boston so much. The audience seemed confused... I love the music but wouldn't pay to see Twin Shadow again. Disappointing.

Amazing performance by the sisters band Haim. Better than I would've imagined. They are now my new favorite band! And I was pleasantly surprised by Twin Shadow. Great sounds and really energetic. I was impressed.

I went to the Twin Shadow show on the recommendation of a friend, who I'm also trying to impress, but i had heard some of 'Confess'; this years follow up to his 2010 debut 'Forget' and was intrigued by what could be done with a live interpretation of the songs. Add to which the support of valley residents and all round hipster buzz band 'Haim', I was in for a treat. George Lewis Jr, and his band who form Twin Shadow came on to a packed Fonda Theatre, the stage dressed with a yellow motorcycle, referencing the inspiration for 'Confess'. Lewis suffered a motorcycle accident in Boston in 2011. Twin Shadow's performance was a neon blend of live rigid drums, accompanied with a scattering of electronic beats. Crunchy, but subtle bass line's tie up the soft cornered rhythm section; while synths, electric keys and organs blend together Lewis' broody and compassionate electric guitar. Twin Shadow's songs are open and honest, touching on a' R'n'B sincerity but with the integrity of more poetically developed artist such as Jeff Buckley and perhaps even Prince. Lewis' confidence in selling these stories and experiences through his music is seamlessly delivered to make you dance and feel good, the performance allowed for pace and the 90 minute show provided a well balanced set. Solo performances from Lewis, and also an instrumental interlude with poetry added a bohemian vibe to the proceedings, but the band don't dwell on such ponderous frequencies for long, slapping the audience back into shape with another bright and charging number. The night almost seemed like a double header, with support from Haim, the "3 sisters and a mister" from the San Fernando Valley. Bringing with them their sultry, but sweaty, broody, but slick songs, together with an on stage sense of enjoyment and comfort; owing to being in their home town. At one point lead guitarist and vocalist Danielle, had a teary moment of overwhelmed achievement, just after they performed their grooving dancer "Forever" a track reminiscent of Michael Jackson's "Wanna be startin' somethin'" but with a fresh airy charm, and a ballsy staccato vocal performed with a Julliette Lewis-esque fury. An all round great show, the kind of music you can take in your stride, a flavor of something not so sickly or intense that it deems the rest of the night irrelevant. A casual, but specific slice of music and art.

One of the best shows I've been to in a very long time. So happy I made the 3 hour drive. Would do it again.

SO what can you say about this show, it was just epic. The opening band (Niki and the Dove)grew on me more and more and by the end of their set when George stepped out to play with them I was in Love. It is hard to say how I would feel about seeing TS again since I saw them at BAM and before that in Webster Hall and both shows were amazing. But their show at BAM had two new tracks, Five Seconds and The One adding a new kind of energy to an already amazing set for their first album Forget. I must admit that with this new album George showed on stage a more personal voice with a solo opening for the Song The One and an energetic ending with a closing song that featured the opening act I will not say in case it spoils fans who might see TS in the near future. But from the first song to the last it was by far the best show I have seen this year with Amon Toubin second and Little Dragon third in Prospect Park.

I saw Twin Shadow with Niki and The Dove, two bands I've been obsessed with this summer. It couldn't have been better.

I was there because a friend was going to see Diamond Rings. I would describe him as a cross between vanilla ice, boy george and David Bowie. I had a great time, music was fun and entertaining.

I was half expecting the live show to be sort of tame and dreamy, but it completely kicked ass! He is a true showman and his band was killing. So fantastic!

This show was absolutely amazing!! Twin Shadow was great. The band has this really transcending energy, completely sexy. I loved every minute of it, and wish they played a second concert in NYC because I would definitely go again. I was all the way in front, right before the stage. So I would recommend going early if you want to experience being 1 foot away from the performers.

Twin Shadow is definately an up-and-coming alternative, indie, rock band. They incorporate piano and synthsizer into a groovy sound that keeps you moving the whole time. The vocals/lyrics are fun and powerful and,at the same time, still kind of mellow. In my opinion, mellow vocals are great because every member of this band has amazing talent alone and combined so you're able to hear everything at once. I've been to too many shows where all you can hear are the singers and the instruments turn into background music. Either way, this performance at The Paradise was fantastic. I love this venue because it is so intimate and the sound flows surprisingly well throughout the place. My friend and I(whom had no idea who or what Twin Shadow even was) danced the night away! The only negative was that the show was too short! :)
