Samantha Fish

Loved the new album and band. They played the new and old music great, nice sound additions to Samantha's previous music. Her voice was beautiful on the new material, and old of course.

Awesome show from beginning to end. Nice selection of bluesy and rock and slow.

The show was great and as always the Birchmere was outstanding with it's service

Samantha Fish rocks the house !! If you like blues and haven't seen her yet..... you need to.She has a great voice, smokin" licks and a tight rhythm section...... great show !!

Samantha Fish is a must see in concert.. She brings the passion to her music and is one of the most talented performers I have seen. I first seen her perform at the Telluride Blues and Brews festival. I realized quickly she was the best performer in the event.. I noticed many others agreed with me.. When you get a chance go and see her.. She wasn't even the headliner in Dallas. She killed the main act. Catch her now before she blows up to the big time!!

The bathrooms are clean. The full bar and concession stand is great. The venue overall is above and beyond. And of course Samantha Fish has an awesome voice. She also has wonderful stage presence. I recommend her very highly

We have been Samantha Fish fans since the first song of the first set we saw her play last summer at the Rams Head in Annapolis. Driving guitar licks, that raspy bluesy voice, and a Rock and Roll sensuality that few other lady rockers have been able to pull off. Her newest CD does little to perpetuate those great attributes and while the size of her band doubled since we last saw her, the entertainment factor did not. I'm not for a moment going to say that the musicians she added are not talented, because they are and they had a good time with her on stage. My take away was that the added support music muddled the bluesy message she delivered so completely the first time around. The couple of times she let loose, brought the crowd to their feet and kept them there. Hopefully the new CD will grow on me, but I'm already looking forward to the next one with her, her bass player and her drummer and her original sound that built a loyal fan base.

Samantha's new horn section and keyboards have strengthened her sound and they are fabulous live. From start to finish - tight!

Samantha was awesome as usual. The crowd was right on point, dancing and singing! So so sad to hear this was the last night for Devon's Friday Night Blues. This was an awesome time with great bands! My friends and I will definitely miss seeing old and new friends.

The percussionist and bass player are outstanding and of course Samantha never fails to wow everybody.

Samantha Fish is one of the most incredible guitarists of all time and the rest of the band is amazing. Awesome sound for a 3 piece band. Reminicient of the great 3 piece bands of the past like Cream.

She really brought the house down! great way to feel the music and participate with a jam packed croud!

Being a first time goer to the Birchmere location I found the venue both interesting and intimate! It was great to be able to find seating early before the show and to grab something to eat as well. Samantha and her band were the consummate professionals and always let the audience know just how much they appreciated everyone coming out to see them. By professionals I meant even when disaster struck (A broken bass guitar strap) the band played on. It was easy seeing her for the first time to tell that she's had a past truly stepped in music. She was both funny and talented and aimed to always be a crowd pleaser. Did I mention the music? The music itself was great and she introduced several NEW songs that had never been played before (See set list). Definitely worth it!

Specialist guest was Davy Knowles whom I had not heard of- he was great . His vocal power and guitar ability was surprising. Samantha Fish played some of the best blues rock I've heard in long time and a style all her own. She tore that stage up!

The show was very good, but then again any show with Samantha Fish is worth it. This lady is a great musician and great guitar player. The venue is a must to do a show at, it is geared towards music and the sound is great. You can even have dinner and a few drinks while enjoying the show, so it is a win,win!

Samantha puts on one hell of a show she played close to 2 hours , with a constant flow of energy . the whole band puts their heart an soul in to their music . If you have a chance to see her show do it you won't regret it .

Samantha Fish was fantastic! She plays so powerfully. I felt like I had a sonic boom going off in my chest. My hair was tingling most of the show!

Samantha Fish gets better each time I see her. Its a high energy show and well worth seeing.

Samantha Fish is truly evolving into a great talent. She has attracted some talented musicians to play with, and her guitar skills keep improving. I really enjoyed the show. The sound mix for Samantha's show was professional. I was disappointed that more people didn't come out to see her, but that is their loss. The venue was a little odd. It felt disjointed to me. It's a nice club, but the way it is set up doesn't provide a good flow. The seating angles are also a bit off.

Samantha Fish made it worth sitting through the warm ups\u2026 I supported Terry Quiett in making this album which I'm SOOOOO disappointed in. Maybe he's gotten prideful but it was mostly shrieking guitar riffs which were painful to sit through :(

Voodoo Lounge is a great venue for live music, great seating and acoustics. Warm up band was better than most and Samantha and Terry tore the place up. They have very different styles but they are very complimentary. Hopefully they will do something like this again, we drove 4.5 hours to get there and would do it again, if you get a chance to see either of these blues guitarist go you will not be disappointed, both have the skills for stand alone shows getting to see them both made for a great night.

The music and performers were awesome! All 3 bands were very enjoyable to listen too.

Absolutely great show all around. Both bands before her warmed up the crowd and then Fish killed it to close the night. Waited and signed autographs and talked to all the fans and was gracious with everyone. Great person and even better player.

Wow, what a show. Samantha Fish and her great band were just lights out amazing. This tight-knit power trio have really come together. Their timing and their stage presence continue to grow as they crank out the blues. I've seen them about 15 times and they keep blowing me away every time! Catch them if you can because their rocket to stardom is ready for takeoff.

I have seen Samantha Fish perform many times in and around the KC area, but this show was truly special. It was the release party for her second solo studio CD, "Black Wind Howlin'". Levee Town, the opening act, was great, but when Sam and her band, Bassist Chris Alexander, and Drummer Go Go Ray took the stage, the sold-out crowd erupted and she didn't disappoint!! A FANTASTIC set of almost entirely new material from the CD was highlighted by her use of four guitars, including excellent use of an acoustic which I had never seen her play live before. She kept raising the energy and technical excellence throughout the 90 minute set until she delivered a SCORCHING version of the CD title track. And then...just when I thought it couldn't get any better...came the Encore...a STAGGERING cover of Black Sabbath's War Pigs!!! Pure Magnificence throughout!!
