I've been listening to Electric Guest for several months now and I thoroughly enjoy their [only] album 'Mondo'. When I found out they'd be playing in one of my favorite Columbus venues, I had to make the commute to see them. They sounded phenomenal live (better live than the album, which is saying a lot considering the powerful vocals of this dynamic pop duo heard on Mondo). I'm a fan of anything Danger Mouse touches, so after learning that he had collaborated with Electric Guest on several songs I knew this band was going to be one to keep an eye on...and I was right. I am super excited to hear their next album that hopefully comes out soon, but I am also excited for them to tour again in this area. I will definitely see them any opportunity I get.

So danceable, fun and upbeat. The music makes you feel good. Bass went out a couple songs in but that was alright cus the singer entertained us with on the road stories and question and answer for under 10 mins, then the bass was fixed. Felt like it ended too soon though. Overall, they're great!

Electric Guest was so entertaining. The crowd was excited and supportive, and the band was noticeably surprised and happy about our enthusiasm. The commentary from Asa throughout the set had everybody laughing out loud. Their sound was spectacular, and I think everyone agrees that Asa has the voice of an angel. Each member was extremely talented, and they sounded just like they do on the record. Couldn't recommend them highly enough.

This band does not disappoint. So nice to attend a concert with a mixed age group of fans. Asa's voice was in great form even after just finishing a US tour. Matthew "Cornbread" Compton kept the beat pulsating on the drums. These guys are pros because even with a hiccup when the bass broke Asa kept the crowd engaged and happy which is the sign of a great band who cares about their fans.

My new fave band! I love their fun upbeat Motown, R&B mixed with electronic sound. Glad I went this time for only 15 buck cuz pretty soon I won't be able to afford to see them. Def go if they come to your town! Got the burger at the restaurant they played at which has a small venu In the back for bands to play. Tasted great and they even had a gluten free bun option. Also lots of vegetarian and vegan Dishes. Nice place to hang out with lots of cool lighting.

I had an amazing time! First time at this venue, it's really nice...not too big, not too small. I have seen this band before and this time was just as great. thank you!

I saw Electric Guest the first time they came to Boston at Brighton Music Hall and they rocked it. It was a much different experience, however, because there were not many people there and their album had just come out. Seeing them a second time at Paradise was exciting because the place was pretty packed and every single person in the place was psyched to see them and knew all of their songs. They have great stage presence, the lead singer is a lot of fun to watch and of course the entire group sounded great. This was the best possible way to end my weekend :)

Absolutely rock! Electric Guest played an awesome show this sunday at the Paradise Rock Club. They really fed off the crowd energy and played a great chill set that was perfect for the sunday evening that we were there. Their energy was infectious and they made me feel that they were genuinely stoked that we all came out to see them.

The energy at this show was incredible. I walked in when NO was playing, and wished I'd come sooner. I hadn't heard them before and I was captivated. Electric Guest came on and rocked it. I would recommend this awesome, upbeat show to anyone!

Really enjoyed the whole atmosphere at Paradise Rock Club. Went with a few friends and other than one drunk idiot didn't have a single problem all night. I really wish that Electric Guest had played longer, but I think they played all of their songs so can't be too mad (even though they played for a grand total of 45 minutes, which felt like nothing). Even so, had a great time for relatively cheap and would do it again.

Excellent value for the money. Tickets were 20 for two opening, one which was NO and they were great, then Electric Guest came on and blew it away. I am afraid this might be the only time we get to see them in a small rock club like that.

Electric Guest have awesome songs and tons of energy to keep the crowd going. Wish they had more songs so the show would have been longer :)

This show was wonderful! Electric Guest is probably my favourite new artist this summer, and the show was great. Since they only have one album to draw from, it was rather predictable and they played all of their material. No encore, it was a realtively short set and an early show, The crowd was good, into the music and dancing along. So much fun!

Small venue, great vibe, awesome show from the band. Acoustics were a little sub-par unless you were in just the right (boring) spot, but it was a blast.

Lead singer is a bit awkward, but it's good fun! The only problem is the show started SUPER LATE. Opener at 10pm.

This was my third time seeing Electric Guest, and they've been fantastic all three times. Superb energy filled the room as they began the show, the Asa's "dance moves" really light up their entire set. Even though it was super awkward to see that happening on stage at first, he really holds his notes during all of it, manages to get the crowd to just the right amount of volume & jitteriness, and just be super awesome and courteous to the audience that it would be awkward to NOT see his crazy dances now. Electric Guest is as amazing as a band will get, and I expect them to get super huge pretty soon. Good luck to everyone in it :)

The ticket said doors open at 8pm. So we get there at 8pm expecting the opening band to go on at 9pm which apparently was not the plan. The opening band was to go on at 10pm and the Electric Guest to go on at 11pm. I thought that was a little late for a show to be starting at 10pm on a week night. Call me old but I do have to go to work the next morning to so I can afford to go to shows. And we all know shows never run on time. So I had to leave. As I was leaving the bounce asked to stamp my hand to I could get back in. I told him no thank you I had to leave. As I was walking away I heard him saying to the other bouncer that he can't believe so many people are leaving.

Very disappointed by the lack of information provided regarding the concert start time. I was under the impression that Electric Guest would be performing around 9. It wasn't until I arrived at Bowery Ballroom that I was informed that they would not be on until 11pm. I would never have purchased the tickets if I had known the show would be so late.

I first heard Electric Guest on Altnation last year and was instantly hooked! I have not been to a show in quite some time, but decided to see them, since I really liked what I heard. The show was more than expected and I would recommend anyone who has the chance, to go and see for yourself. Asa Taccone not only performed to perfection, but definitely knows how to put on a great show!!!!!

It's obvious that everyone in this band loves making music. Their energy on stage is so fun and positive that you can't help but smile and dance while watching them perform. Their music is chill and upbeat, rock, funk and electric, all at the same time. I can't wait to see them again!
