The Taft Theater Ballroom was an excellent venue for HoneyHoney. It was a great set up. The bands put on a great show and the sound was excellent.

Best show I've ever been to, Ben and Suzanne were amazing! Their set list was great mixing in new and old songs and some unreleased tracks I've never heard, Bouncing Ball was one. They did a two song encore and then stayed after the show to meet everyone who wanted to stay and get pictures, sign stuff, etc. The opening band cicadia rhythm was great also, I wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised at how good they were. Overall this experience convinced me to go to any of their shows that are close enough for me to get to, just amazing!!!

You ever see a show and wish that you were friends with the band so you could tell them how good it was? Or like, jump on their tour van and just tag along? That's a honeyhoney show. You don't just wanna be their fan, you wanna be their friend. They're rad. I found honeyhoney on a YouTube crawl one day whilst I was bored at work. I was hooked just from an acoustic performance I watched and immediately went home to digest as much of their music as physically possible. I've been trying to catch them in concert since then (over a year ago) and bought the NYC Bowery tix immediately when they went on sale. Was NOT disappointed. Holy hell. Great musicianship, great banter with the crowd, and a wonderful set list that included enough of their new album to get hooked on it, and enough of their previous work to get the crowd going. How anyone can play the violin and sing simultaneously is amazing, but the lead singer did it with what looked like ease. The other lead member was also incredible, providing the perfect balance to this great twosome. And shout out to their great drummer who totally rocked it all night. If honeyhoney strolls through your town, and you're even a little bit interested in country/bluegrass/pop music, go see them. If you're disappointed, I will come to your house and smack you because it's your fault and you have terrible taste. That's how good they are.

The Honeyhoney band gave their all in the recent Cambridge show. They took each song to a new level with fervor and tight playing. She sang with depth, passion and conviction, and his guitar was right there with her. Thank you Honeyhoney for your gift of real performing.

Honey Honey- great band .... And The Sinclair- a great venue. Ive been to many concerts, but these little intimate spots are my favorite Especially when you get to listen to a great band like Honey Honey... It's been a few days since the show and I wake up with their songs in my head. The cool thing was when they were done playing, they came out and met with people- they were humble and sweet. Such talent, so powerful- love that Honey Honey

Great show with great energy. Suzanne sounds just as amazing live as she does on the album. Fun and quirky duo. I wouldn't pass up a chance to see them again!

Hit up this random show at the masquerade and it was incredible. Reminded me of Jennifer nettles back in the day. Very talented group! Their opening band Sailing to Denver also did an amazing job.

Hey pal, you ever had an experience that combined the two sayings "this is the tits!" or something like "this business it the cat's pajamas!?" Well have ya? I just did. I was so excited during their last show my pants were peed. But it was honeyhoney who peed them for me. I thank them for that.

Honey Honey was amazing! Love their sound-- the girl just rocks her folkish voice. Joshua James was absolutely incredible. So raw, so real, so moving. He is one of the best live artists I've ever seen.

very depressing concert. I was disappointed. The songs are beautiful but Joshua James needs to play more upbeat songs in such a concert....it can't be only songs about people who died, who are lost in life, etc.

honeyhoney can flat out rock. From soft ballads about heartbreak to rockin' tunes about fast love, they bring it on every song. Seriously, I saw this band open a few months back, and they have vastly improved. Their style is unique, their sound is amazing, and their chemistry is unbelievable. They put their heart and soul into each song, and they left me blown away. Truly, a group that deserves more notice from the music world. Then, there's Joshua James. I don't understand why he was the closing act. If honeyhoney is the sweet dessert, Joshua James is certainly an appetizer. That means you are getting nothing but an appetizer as the last part of your meal, after being served the best dessert you have had in a long time. Kind of disappointing. Don't get me wrong, James has talent, but is definitely more skilled at songwriting than performing his pieces. Watching him try so hard to produce such a small voice was painful to watch at times. Where James shines is discussing the pieces with the audience, and then softly singing a sweet ballad from his soul that entices you to listen closely to his poetic pieces about the search for spiritual connection in a world lacking basic human contact. This is what saves the night for James. Unfortunately, he tries a little too hard to rock out Jeff Buckley style, but simply doesn't have the pipes to carry a tune like Buckley. Overall, a great night of music. Get there early, and get up close to watch honeyhoney rock the stage. You won't be sorry.

...and become the cool kid that knows about the band before they break. For real. Make this one of your must see bands. They kill in these small venues. Suzanne's voice and stage presence are incredible, and Ben's talent is something to see.

I've seen this band live several times now and they're incredible. The last show I went to was at the intimately-sized Troubadour, which lent itself well to the rootsy vibe of this band. This setting also gave the crowd a chance to catch the breath taking voice & personality of the lead singer! Absolutely amazing..I can't wait to see them again!
