Peppa Pig's Surprise

Loved the show, however, i felt like something was missing. Did love how Geroge tears spit out into the audience though & they did the Bing Bong... song which is my daughter favorite.

A very cute show that had my almost four year old and me bopping in our seats. Perfect length, although my son was ready to go at intermission. Lol he found the lights too bright eventually (his eyes were watering), but I stuck my sunglasses on him and he was fine. Maybe a bit less intense next time would be good. The merchandise prices were ridiculous, but overall a great show!

Honestly we feel like since we could only see 1/2 of the stage because of the horrible curtain placement that we should get AT LEAST half of our money back. There's "limited view" and then there's "your set designer should be fired." Did you even sit in the audience to see for yourself? Show was just okay. I felt bad for all the VIPs getting completely drenched. Once was funny, 30+ times was mean.

Peppa Pig Live was a really great show. We loved the tears in the show! The underwater scene was awesome too! I thought we might lose our napless 2yo to sleeping when the lights were dimmed but it was so captivating she sat on the edge of her seat during that time. The entire company of the show was spot on... accents and all! We love the Saenger in Mobile. Parking can be difficult sometimes and the 6pm show deals with the added 5oclock tunnel traffic but if you plan it shouldn't be a problem. Our family of 6 grabbed some early dinner nearby and parked close. The show was enjoyable for the kids and the adults. The temperature of the Theatre was comfortable. It was a great time. I can't wait for our next family event downtown.

We thought it was a good venue and good show. If your child loves the peppa pig show then this is a venue for them. Our child loved the signing, dancing and interaction of the characters.

Cute concept, but my child, 3 years old, was not engaged. Bright colors, seaside destination, but I would not recommend. Sorry. Nice location of Hard Rock.

My 4 yo girl loved it, but my 2yo boy who also watch and played with peppa pig toys lost interested after intermission. It is not worth the price I pay (around $55). It was short and just people holding up large puppets the characters. Only momma and papa pig are in costumes. If it was a cheaper price show then go for it!!!

My 3 1/2 year old son actually shook with joy. I was a bit skeptical at the beginning when Peppa and her friends came out with the actors fully visible (not full body costumes). But in the mind of my child (and clearly the rest of the crowd), that was not a negative. The songs were great. The run time perfect. My son literally danced in the aisle for the last song with the majority of other kids, which is completely out of character for him. In other words, this show completely captured his attention. It was true to the books.

Show started late. Party package not worth the expense. Characters were moved mechanically.

Show, wonderful. Worth the party, no. Not enough that went with it. Expected all the friends and family of peppa there. We got one picture and when I asked if we could get the whole family, she said "there's too many kids to get thru so no". Paid a bit more to have a VIP experience, and it definitely fell short of VIP. And there was only 1 area to buy food during show. The line was so long. Dinner time, hungry kids. I would have thought there'd be more areas to grab something. Would have been smart to have the bar stocked with at least popcorn, pretzels etc. All in all it was a great show, but the organization of everything fell well short.

The show was great. The after party was even better getting to meet Peppa and friends. The staff was so accommodating to the children at the show. My granddaughter was amazed to see Peppa on stage. Her eyes lite up with excitement as she heard the intro song to the show she couldn't believe she was really seeing Peppa Pig and not on TV.

My daughter's enjoyed it, they sang, they danced and had a great time. Souvenirs a little expensive. From the first show I attended 2 years ago they definitely improved, was way better executed and very interactive. They increased the selections of souvenirs.

I was very disappointed in the production value. I should have read reviews before we came. It was not a well done performance, sorry to say. They depended too much on the brand of Peppa and threw something together that slightly resembles the show. The push around characters were cheesey, I'm not sure why they threw in a narrator in the story, she's never in the real show. My son liked it, but he's 2 1/2, so I think he would like anything. That's what I gave it more than 1 star. Overall, disappointed and would not spend money on this again.

I've gone to A LOT of kids shows and this one might have been the most disappointing. Sure the kids got excited when they saw Peppa and characters they knew, but the show has no story line or cohesion from scene to scene. The focus is mostly on Daisy, a human character that isn't part of the Peppa world, it just could have been so much better.

For the price of the tickets we were very disappointed in the props and length of show.

Great show for kids n adults it's worth taking your kids to.

The characters are not dressed up in costume. Only mommy and daddy pig. Everyone else is a large puppet pushed around on rollers. There s people behind them dressed in black. My 3 year olds enjoyed it but definitely not worth the amount we paid and 2 hours in the car. Disappointed.

Expected more interactive entertainment than a "storyline". Puppets were cute but I would've preferred not to see the guys controlling the puppets, kind of distracting. I suppose it was ok for the intended audience.

Show was just boring. My kids were excited for weeks to go and see it but 5 minutes after they forgot it ever happened. There was no story behind it and I'm pretty sure that small kids kids couldn't make a connection between the acts and changing sets. Most of all, it lacked the charm and humor of the tv show. Very disappointing

They didn t start on time and there was a 15 minute intermission which made the show 90 minutes. This was a bit too long for even the best behaved little ones. But the show itself was great.

Fun show for the kids. Lots of audience participation. Little ones had fun screaming and yelling! Loved the story and all the fun songs from the t.v show!

The puppets were half the size of the performers and they just stood behind them and pushed them around. The voices didn t sound anything like the Peppa Pig characters. I paid as much for tickets as for a musical or opera, but the production was as cheap as a fair. Not to mention the ridiculous prices they charged for souvenirs. Plus it was pretty late production for an audience of small children. My kids enjoyed it, but they would enjoy finger puppets probably just as much.

I was pretty disappointed with the show. The songs were unrecognizable and the costumes and props could have been so much better. The tickets were way too expensive for the quality of the show. Save your money and watch a Peppa marathon at home!

Peppa pig Live was 90 min if entertainment. There was a 20 min intermission. Not a fan of the puppeteers in all black, I was hoping everyone (Peppa, George etc) would be a full costume. But My baby girl had a blast so it was worth it all! She could see well in out seats and the stage was huge and we'll set up.

This was an adorable show that our 2.5 year old daughter loved! It was just the right duration and kept her mesmerized the whole time. Our only complaint was the parents who were bringing their kids to the bottom of the stage....it became very distracting to us adults. Other than that, we loved Peppa Pig and the songs were cute.

The show made my child smile, laugh and happy. After the show my child talked about it for days.

Great interactive show with really cute characters. Only drawback was that some of the accents weren't as good as on the show. Otherwise, the storyline was cute, the music was catchy, they involved the audience--totally recommend.

My restless 3 year old absolutely loved the show! Props and songs kept her entertained the entire time. If you have a toddler this is a must see!

For the price paid, show started late, long intermission and was still over in 1.5 hours. Cost was way too high for that.

I expected real people in costume and most people I talked to did too. I didn't expect people in black clothes pushing the characters around and talking for them in plain sight. Only Mummy Pig and Daddy Pig were in costume. Also there was a girl name Daisy I believe narrating the show, there is no humans in the TV show. This is my perspective, the kids didn't know any better and they liked it. Would I pay for it again? NO

It was a cute show, basically story time. Did not hold the kids attention totally. Big mistake, they took an intermission and it was not good for the little ones, they got restless. We ve seen other shows and they did not take a break and I find that is much better. But if your kids are die hard Peppa fans it was cute.

My 3 and 1year old loved it, and mommy and daddy didn t mind it either. It was cute and seeing the kids smile watching it made it all worth it.

When I saw this was called Peppa Pig Live I more expected people in costumes like you see at Disneyland. Well, that wasn t the case and maybe I should have researched this more before and that s my fault, but basically 3 tall puppets with the puppeteers in full view was just a bit odd. My sons still loved the show, they were in the asile jumping and dancing (as much as possible for a 3 and 1 year old). In short, my kids had a great time which was the point of us going I guess I just had different expectations.

I took my two year old twins to see this show. This was their first live event and I was dismayed that the characters were literally being pushed around the stage by people in plain sight. It was really lame. Also, their was a character (woman) names Daisy who seemed to be the actual star of the show even though she s not part of peppa the pig. My kids were not as engaged as I would have liked and I regret spending the money on this show.

The story line was ok, the characters weren t entertaining with the moving people behind them. I was not satisfied and so were the kids, it was better to watch them on tv than live.

This is my second time to see the play. I got seat right at the stage this time. My son had the best time dancing and singing. Always recommend parents go to aleast one play with your child or children. It is a memorable experience.

This was the most horrible production I have every taken any of my grandchildren to in the past 11 years. Don't waste your money or time.

Well be there next time for sure. What a great time for my granddaughter. She was enthralled.

The show was an hour and 20 min.. It s was over before the kids was ready.. The performance was on a small compact area in the middle of the stage.. We had floor seat on the side of the stage my 2yr missed the first half of the show cuz we couldn t see anything due to the large curtains that blocked the center of the stage that held the props for the show...The venue should have blocked out the seat we purchased ..They did change our seats after the intermission.. I have been to other kid shows with my daughter that had way better production and much cheaper.. They could have done better for the price..

For the 3-8 year old demographic, this show works. They producers know how to schedule a kids activity with time between acts to run around after being juiced on candy and amp' up by Peppa & clan.

I was not fond of the puppetry. The most impressive part of the production was the florescent seahorses, jellyfish, and crab. I felt like I was attending a school production in the gymnasium. My 5yr old grandson did enjoy it so I guess that's what really matters. I felt it was a bit pricey for that type of experience _ or maybe I am spoiled by and expecting Disney/Pixar quality. Although the venue was intimate for that type of kids event even that was a let down, how do you host a kids event and run out of popcorn before the show even starts?

VIP party was awful!! Don't do it. Snack was a fruit snack & mini bottle of water. Peppa & George & the people controlling them came out took pictures & left. Staff tried to make us leave 30 mins before the party was scheduled to be over. The only activities were coloring sheets, a puzzle & 3 jump ropes. It was awful!!!! Pics of party attached.

I took my 4 year old daughter to see this show and she loved it. There was a lot of music and dancing. I loved the interaction with the crowd.

I had taken my 5 year old son to see Peppa. We enjoyed the show. I thought they were going to be in mascot like costumes but they were being controlled like big puppets. I m not sure how I felt but was afraid it would take away from the experience. I don t think my son minded at all. Overall the performance was good and I would go back again.

My daughter and son loved everything about the Peppa Pig shows

My 3 year old daughter is a die hard Peppa Pig fan, and she was so very excited to see Peppa Pig s Surprise that I purchased tickets well in advance to ensure that she would be able to attend; only to find out that Peppa Pig herself wouldn t be in costume! My daughter was so very disappointed in what she saw that she curled up in her Godmother s lap to go to sleep because she was super bored. She was prepared to see at least all of the main characters in costume when there were only two characters in costume. I purchase a lot of performance tickets for various shows for my daughter s enjoyment and this was by far the worst we ve seen!

We were a bit disappointed or confused, not sure which describes our experience best. Why would you have only two of the characters (the mum and the dad) in full costumes while the remaining were people dressed in black pushing around what appeared to be enlarged stuffed animals on wheels while talking on wireless headsets? I have taken my kids and now my granddaughter to many shows and this is the first that I have seen this type of show. All of the other animated shows I have seen all of the characters have been costumed head to toe, which to me seems to be how it should be. I felt it was awkward and weird and don't care to ever see this type of show again. I will definitely do more research prior to purchasing tickets again so this doesn't happen ever again. I spent over $250 for four tickets which was excessive to see people push stuffed animals around, in my opinion.

We went to see the Peppa Live show with my 3yr old and 1.5yr old daughters. I found out about the show through their Facebook page, where they listed it as running from 5pm-8pm. My oldest it's a huge fan of Peppa, so I bought great tickets as part of a birthday gift for her. The seats were $60 each, not including all the fees from Ticketmaster. We arrived and found our seats just before 5pm, but the show didn't start for almost another twenty minutes. Once the show began, it opened with a girl named "Daisy". I assume she was there to help move the story along, but I found her character to be an intrusive and unnecessary addition to the story line. They should have just run the show with the Peppa characters. As for the normal characters, they were just puppets; and they didn't even try to hide the puppeteers! The only characters that were actual costumes were Mommy Pig, Daddy Pig and Mr. Potato. About a half hour into the show they had a 10-15 min intermission. The show then ended at 630pm. So minus the intermission, I basically paid a dollar per minute for 6 people! That was outrageous! Thankfully my daughters enjoyed it. And I get that it was a short show because children have short attention spans, but then it should be advertised as such. Overall I was disappointed, and I don't plan on buying tickets to another show like this any time soon.

We saw Peppa Pig last year at the Clay center and it was wonderful.This year we saw it at the Charleston municipal auditorium and was so disappointed.Three tickets were over 200 dollars,show started after 6pm and we were sitting in our car by 7:30 with an intermission added in.Ridiculous!! I and the people around us were in shock,everyone was like is that it.A lot of grumbling and complaints on our way out!! Very very disappointed!!!!

Me and my 3 lil girls had a great time and enjoyed how the show got the crowd to get in on the fun!!!! Can t wait till next yr to bring them back to see peppa & friends

MY 2 year old daughter absolutely LOVED The show. We purchased party passes and are so glad that she got to experience it. My only problem was that I had to buy a $144.50 for a petite 2 year old who sat in my lap the entire show. Other than that it was wonderful ! Everyone loved the outfit I made her as well. (ETSY: HolliePopDesign) If your kids love PEPPA ... I would strongly recommend, and if you can afford the party pass ... do it

It was a good show. My son loved it. I was a little disappointed that not all the characters were in costume (they were more like puppets) even my son noticed and he is 3.

My daughter was disappointed that the characters were controlled by people standing behind them. Mama pig and daddy pig were people dressed in full costume but none of the other characters were.

There were about three characters with FULL costumes (Daddy, Mommy pig and Mr. Potatoes head). There other characters were humans walking behind the characters. They could have at least made Peppa Pig with a full costume. The event was OVER rated and EXTRA costly. I purchased backstage VIP tickets..and when my daughter took a picture, the humans who placed Peppa and George, were in the picture standing behind the characters. It was a waste of money and time. However, my daughter was just happy to be at the event. Overall it was NOT worth the money and time.

It was very interactive and fun! My daughter sang and danced like no tomorrow!! We will definitely recommend this to our friends!

Definitely not like a Disney Production.... in todays times we are move advanced than to have humans push around a puppet cart on stage!

Bought these as a gift for a family with 5 kids, ranging in ages 2-8 years old. The parents said the 2 year old was all about it, the (3) 5 year olds enjoyed it somewhat. They said the real enjoyment came from everyone, including themselves and the 8 yr old, just watching the 2 year old being "all about it". :) So moral to this story is this show seems to be more for the youngins', like 4 and under. :)

Save your money. This was a total waste. My family loves Peppa. This show lacks any of the pizazz this television cartoon has. The story is weak and not entertaining. My kids asked to leave at intermission. Not to mention, the show started 20 minutes late. Do these folks realize there audience has limited attention span?! Broadway shows start on time.

For so much money it was entirely a rip off The characters were wooden cut outs pushed around by people who did not have a British accent To rely on bubbles for a show on stage - well i never! An intermission of 20 mins serves to make kids go nuts and parents want to shoot themselves

As for as I was concerned the caliber of the performance was not too good. It was a glorified puppet show. Only three of the characters were in a costume, the rest were essentially large puppets that had there handler right behind them. The venue was great and the people were equally great. The voices of the characters was off and the dolls looked like the Chinese knock-offs that you see on ebay. I would opt not to go again.

Terrible waste of time, total scam. Please do not waste your time.

This show was a terrible experience from beginning to end. The show started 10 minutes late after which point almost half the audience arrived (last minute cheap tickets?) obscuring our view. The show started abruptly - it hardly seemed to resemble the Peppa Books or shows at all. Instead it featured a sickly sweet character named Daisy who had nothing at all to do with anything. The stories mostly consisted of boring games of I Spy and Dancing Potatoes??? The intermission was long and all the audience members felt free to get up and down throughout and film the entire show on their phones. I want my money back - seriously! Even my four year old was not impressed.

Quality of the show is too low. It was fun at the end. But, very boring overall. Also, the price of $35 + $12 convenience charges are totally NOT worth it.

The show was OK. Definitely not worth the money we paid for it. Peppa Pigs voice was not even close to what she sounds like, my daughter wasn t impressed and she s 3!

These tickets were fifty dollars each. The entire show was led by a woman in pigtails and not by Peppa or George. The puppeteers were visible the entire time. All women in pigtails making baby like voices to act as the characters. It was a waste of money and time. My 2 year old enjoyed it but I was sure angry at the quality of the show.

We took grandchildren 2.5 and 3 Year s old, they loved it. The show is the right length of time,intermission when they need it. The production is adorable we especially loved the jellyfish, my grandson sings the song about the seaside so cute!

Quality of the show was a C/C-. Not sure it is Worth the price. My 3 yr old did enjoy it but seriously, if u r doing a muddy puddle scene, I expect more mud on the stage and on the puppets. Bottom line, if your kid loves peppa, go. If you are on the fence about buying these tickets, save your money.

The show was way over priced for a kids show. I paid less for a mercy me concert.

For those who love watching Peppa Pig and those who do not know Pegga Pig - recommend it - enjoyable

Very cute show. My toddler jumped & danced & laughed the whole time. I was, however, VERY disappointed in the surprise party after the show which was a complete waste of money. The party was at capacity so we had to wait in the lobby the 3/4 of the time which was very, very boring to a toddler who was excited to see her BFF Peppa. Venue security was friendly & apologized, but regardless, we had paid for a party we had to rush through by the time we got up there to get the pictures. It looked like it would have been fun if we had gotten to spend some time up there instead of in the lobby waiting.

Kids did not enjoy that much, kind of boring for them - expected more for the price of the tickets. Arena had a dirty smell, seats/arena probably hadn't been cleaned for a while if it smelled like that.

I was very unsarified, my child was not very amused. It was very amateur. Props looked so cheap, my daughter lost attention within the first 15 minutes and she loves Peppa Pig. For the money I paid not happy at all!

First my biggest disappointment was paying ahead of time for parking with my tickets and on the night of the show these fast pass parking tickets were not valid. Very frustrating so we paid two times for parking after driving all over trying to find where it was and asking several parking attendants. They said they all got loads of mad parents with the same issue. So we were late to the show because of parking. The show it s self was ok, a little slow moving. When I asked my three year old if she wanted to leave 15 mins early to beat traffic I was pleasantly surprised when she said yes. If she was fully engaged and loving the show it would have been a struggle. She loves peppa shows and stories and even has the figurines. She was wearing her peppa shirt and was excited at first because we had gone to the paw patrol show and she absolutely loved it. This one there was no excitement afterwards. Will not do an evening show again or buy parking with my tickets.

Great show for the kids, very cute. But the backstage passes not worth it. You wait in line just to meet peppa and george for a quick picture then rushed off. I expected 4-6 characters mingling around with the kids for photo opps.

We took two of our grandchildren, ages 2 & 3, and they were mesmerized. Just a fantastic night out. Highly recommend for the little ones.

Awesome for kids of all ages. We took a 2,4 and 7 year old and they loved it.

The show was fun and perfectly interactive. The kids had a blast. However, it was billed as a 90 minute show and it was not. Our show was scheduled to begin at 5pm, but did not start until 5:15pm, then there was a 15 minute break 20 minutes in and the show ended before 6:30. We were walking out of the theater by 6:28 (I checked my watch). So, it was really only 60 minutes which was disappointing for the amount we paid for the tickets. Not a good value for sure.

The show was not what I expected. I expected ALL characters be in costume like Mommy and Daddy Pig. It was tacky to see the people moving the props and talking during the show. It was a waste of money.

My family and I were very disappointed, the characters voices sounded horrible, did not resemble the tv show at all. My daughter loves watching peppa pig and this show did not keep her interest, she was ready to go home.

So, this was my first experience attending a live show other than Sesame Street. This was pitiful. The only characters that were wearing costumes were mommy and daddy pig. The others were just large puppets being moved around by adults wearing all black. I would only recommend this to children under 3. Is it hard to find more people to wear costumes? I felt like this was a waste of money.

I took my almost 4 year old daughter to see Peppa Pig Live! Surprise! this past weekend as part of her birthday present since Peppa is her favorite show. I've never been to a live show geared toward children, so I my expectations were probably a little high. We were sitting in the first row of the balcony and because the set was so minimal, things were clearly visible that shouldn't have been. The characters were "hiding" behind bushes and in the wings, but seen by those sitting higher up in the theater. The "puppets" were not as mobile as I thought they should have been. They're mouths didn't move much and their arms and legs were stationary. I liked the idea of using puppets for the kids (Peppa and friends) to distinguish them from the adults (Mummy & Daddy pig), but I feel the puppets could have been a little more lifelike. The theater was ok. There were no ushers directing us to our seats, which was fine, but would have been nice to have. They ran out of popcorn before the first intermission, leaving only a few candy options. They did not have all of the concession stands open, which caused long lines (one of the Mom's I was with waited in line from the start of the intermission, and did not return to her seat until after the second half of the show began). Overall, my daughter had a great time. She loved the audience participation and enjoyed seeing Peppa and friends live; however, there is definite room for improvement.

My 4 year old daughter really enjoyed Peppa Pig LIVE! She was sooo excited to see Peppa, George, and all of their friends. She did ask about Daisy (Peppa's friend in the LIVE show) and why she isn't in the show on TV. My daughter also asked why were there people standing behind Peppa and her friends. It's a little hard to explain to a 4 year old why the LIVE version doesn't look exactly like the show on TV! But it was very interactive with the audience (they taught us a dance) and there was singing and some funny bits so all-in-all it was worth the money.

Six of us were early to the event. Go to get kids popcorn and they ran out!!!!! Only candy available, no thank you. Go out early before intermission, they have no popcorn and will not have any!!!!!!!!! Such poor planning!! Man behind us videoed the entire performance on his phone with the bright light shining on us. Employees walking by saying nothing! To top it off a speaker must have been blown because the bass was killing our ears. Very disappointed.

The production could have been a lot better sou to high cost. Never again.
